A/N: Wow, sometimes I wonder about myself. xD

He liked the rush of heat the flames gave off, the twisted sense of power it gave him. That he was in control, that he couldn't be hurt. That's what it was, a shield that protected him from everything. He could destroy everything that caused him, in logical sense, pain. Everything he thought hated him. Fire left black ashes, a lingering scent of smokey memories. A hollow example of what was, or what was supposed to be.

Just like where his heart was supposed to be.

Your pretty face disguised in a veil of fear

Drip with tears as I gave you one last
Kiss before the fall (before the fall);;;

He loved the burning sensation the fire caused as it quickly made all the people who had lied to him disappear before his eyes. He could smile, but it wasn't real. Fire melted his heart, now fire melted the things that haunted him. He wasn't whole, he was a fragmented part of this world, something that didn't belong there. He had given up on trying to be real, it was impossible. Their plan was a foolish attempt.

They lied to me.

Hold my hand and don't forget to breathe
There's nothing left for you, there's nothing left to leave

On three we're jumping from this ledge this buildings tall
I'm sure we'll wake up dead;;;

He breezed through the flames with ease, the cracking sounds calming him, the burning scent overwhelming him, the flames calming him. He could make out the boy in the shadows of the fire, his wide with horror. He peered down at him, still smiling.

I'm not real.

The boy opened his mouth in a silent scream, his small frame tense with disbelief. He could see both of them, the one's who gave him that slight taste of humanity. The one's who believed him, helped him, trusted him. But the truth was bitter.

"Were you part of their plan?"

Slowly the boy shook his head in response, trembling as he scrambled to his knees. "Axel..."

He opened his arms and the young boy collapsed into his arms, and Axel drew him close, but this wasn't forgiveness. Pushing him back at arms length, green eyes locked with blue eyes, the unmistakable smile of relief on the boy's face.

Sora? Roxas?

"Who are you?"

The boy opened his mouth, his small hands covering his large ones, as if keeping him from doing any harm. "I...I'm..."

"Liar." He seethed, shoving the boy away. He jumped to his feet the same time the boy did. He swiped angrily at the flames, they danced closer around him. He set this place on fire, their world, because fire burned everything in it's path.

"Wait..."

Talk is expensive, you're wasting your time.

"Never play with fire."

He stepped back, still smiling, and disappeared, leaving the boy for good. He stood by the tress outside the mansion, his arms crossed. The house would burn, and so would the people in it, leaving nothing but ashes.

A/N: I kinda liked this...Sadastic, my first time writing Axel. It's up to the reviewers to guess who the boy was. Hope you liked it.
