Hey everyone! My name is Lucy and I have decided to write this because i was bored and my friend has it.I am not sure if this really sucks but please review and tell me if i should continue. Thanks. Oh and I do not own any of these characters but I do own the plot !
Hermione pulled the shining silver sword out of Snapes chest and squinting, looked once more into the eyes full of sadness and remorse. She had not expected that Snape could feel pain, let alone sorrow anymore, as his connection with the dark arts had sucked all human emotion from him, just as it had Voldermort. She staggered back and though she felt relieved, the guilt of killing a human being, even if they deserved it, flooded her body, so she could see only Snape lying beneath her. A tear trickled down her cheek and fell onto his white face, then more started to come until she could not take anymore and started to run. She ran so fast that not a soul could reach her; even the death eaters could not touch her. She reached the vertical drop at the edge of the Gryfindor tower and whistled a long tuneful note that the Order of the Phoenix used to call each other. Then in the distance she saw what looked like a flying rhinoceros, but when she saw it approach nearer she realised that it was Hagrid riding Buckbeak. Although the enormous guilt that she felt in every drop of her blood seemed to be overpowering her, she could not help but smile as she saw the friendly, reliable face that was Hagrids. And she thought, as Hagrid placed her in front of him on Buckbeaks back, wrapped up in his huge coat, the hippogriffs gigantic wings flapping against her legs, how much less painful the ride was, than in her third year at Hogwarts.
They flew high over the mountains, green lakes and valleys and Hermiones tears disappeared as the strong winds whisked them away. "Are you alright Hermione?" asked Hagrid looking down at her sadly. "Yer, I'm fine" she reassured him, giving him the best smile she could muster. Then she remembered something that she couldn't believe she had forgotten. "Hagrid how are Ron and Harry?"
"I was wondering when you was gonna' ask me that," Hagrid said smiling, back to his usual self. "They're fine, Ron's got a few bumps and bruises, but it's nothing serious." Hermione sighed with relief her heart pounding with excitement thinking about seeing Ron. "And Harry?" she said noticing the significant look on Hagrid's face. "Harry's… well Harry's just fine, he's still a bit on the quiet side but he's getting better. For the next two hours she slept, dreaming of red sunsets and red hair, lightning bolts and scars, and of the man that will never walk the dark streets again. "Hermione, Hagrid whispered." Hermione sat bolt upright then realised where she was. She turned around to see Ron and Harry grinning at her. "Hello stranger, long time, no see, not that I missed you or anything." Hermione laughed then ran into Rons arms all the tension and grief she felt easing out of her whilst in Rons warm embrace. She turned to Harry. "I did it Harry, I did it," and her eyes began to swim once more.
