In the Village of Jamanakai Village…
Lloyd was enthralled by the beauty of the village.
It was a long way from home but a gorgeous and colorful place nonetheless. There were so many wonders that he had never seen before. There were other humans, humans that were so different from him and his uncle. Everything was so amazing and overwhelming at the same time.
"Okay, we'll start everything up, then on cue, you do your thing, okay?" Gene instructed the boy of the Venomari Tribe, who wasn't even paying attention, "Lloyd, hey! Are you listening?"
"Huh? Oh, yeah, I am. Don't worry, I'll be there." Lloyd promised as the boys got started on their mischief.
Everyone ran in terror as they believed the evil Lord had returned all the while, the young member of the Venomari Tribe was looking at wonders through the windows. So many things Lloyd has never seen before as he wondered why his tribe would isolate themselves from a place of beauty. Everything was amazing and new as Lloyd looked like he was in a wonderland of his own.
"Little boy, what on earth are you doing out? It is not safe out there!" An adult human warned as Lloyd could smell sweet things.
"Is there candy inside?" The young boy wondered as he sees sweets displayed upon the windows.
"Of course, I do, it's a candy shop. Now, quickly hide!" The shopkeeper warned as Lloyd gave him a strange look.
"What is a shop…?" The boy wondered.
"…You're kidding, right?" He questioned then realized something about the blond boy.
The clothes he wears are not normal and he looks like he came from somewhere else. This kid didn't even have shoes on.
"Kid, where do you come from?"
Before Lloyd could answer the shopkeeper hid away as Gene and Brad continued to laugh. The blond wondered what was so funny that makes them laugh so much or were humans naturally giggly. Then Lloyd caught the brief smell of reptiles, not serpentine since this smell was combined with tea leaves and sulfur, with a touch of leather. Then Lloyd heard roaring as it caused the boy to hide in the alleyway.
He witnessed men in odd robes and masks entering the village as they were arguing amongst themselves. They looked so odd, and they seemed to have the same set of skills and agility as his uncle.
Were they ninja?
They then noticed Brad and Gene's laughter while Lloyd watches from afar.
"Behold as we unleashed the Serpentine upon Ninjago once more!" Brad announced in a sinister voice.
"Now surrender all of your candy or the Serpentine will take it from you!" Gene threatened as they waited for Lloyd to come out, "I said, 'Now surrender all of your candy or the Serpentine will take it from you!'"
Then they threw vegetables at the boys while the ninja decided to control the situation and gather up the two naughty boys.
"Lloyd, Lloyd come on! That's your cue!" Brad shouted for the boy as Lloyd saw his friends being attacked.
They were given wedgies from the pillar of the candy shop as the ninja enjoyed their treats.
Lloyd pounced like a cat as he startled the blue-suited man and the black-suited man before helping the boys from the pillar with the speed and agility trained by his adoptive family. Once Brad and Gene were rescued, Lloyd stood tall, shaking, and afraid to fight for the first time.
"Who is this kid?" The Black suited ninja wondered as he was recovering from the headache caused by the child stepping on him.
"That pose… Sensei Wu's fighting style…" The white Ninja pointed out as they truly looked at the boy.
"Okay, so a feral kid knows how to fight. Anyone else thinking we should-?" The blue ninja questioned before he was introduced to the naked and dirtied foot of the foot!
Lloyd held his own as his small size gave him the advantage.
"Alright, kid. Enough!" The red Ninja ordered as he picked the boy up, "You need a time out with your little friends here."
Lloyd's cheeks swelled then he spat green ooze into the eyes of the ninja holding him, causing him to let go but holding onto Lloyd's necklace.
"My necklace!" Lloyd gasped as Brad and Gene grabbed him and fled, while the others tried to help the Red Ninja with the hallucinogenic power of the venom.
This was not the last time they see those kids again, especially Lloyd.
At the Monastery of Spinjitzu…
Wu was disappointed that his students put off what they should learn today for tomorrow as well as the desire of being the Green Ninja without finding true potential.
Then Wu spotted the necklace in Kai's hand.
"Kai, where did you get that necklace?" The elder master wondered as Kai presented the necklace.
"Oh, this belonged to some kid that decided to pick a fight with us. He spits some weird toxic stuff from his mouth. It was gross and it took me a while to get my sight back." Kai explained.
"Yeah, fifteen minutes. Weird kid too, hanging out with those Darkly's brats." Jay commented as Wu took the necklace from the ninja.
Wu said nothing as his features grew dark.
"Is something wrong, Sensei?" Zane wondered as he was worried for his sensei.
"… I need to be alone. Please continue your training." Wu answered as he went to his room and meditated with the spirit smoke, "Alright, Nephew, where are you?"
He then sees through the smoke as he watches his wayward nephew being led by bad influences of the boys, deep within the cold mountains.
Wu hopes the boy did not get into trouble.
