Near the Tomb of the Fangpyre…
Lloyd was unsure that this was a wise thing to do.
His friends Brad and Gene did want to find the Serpentine, but these tribes were dangerous and unreasonable. His father warned him about the other tribes and the trouble they caused, they were more dangerous than the humans as his father would point out. Each of them had a power that none other could wield. All of which are deadly. The Hypnobrai were on the loose thanks to them and the dangers they caused would spread to their entire home.
"I don't think this is a good idea…" Lloyd uttered as the boys turned to him.
"Come on, we are just looking for more of the Serpentine." Brad scoffed but Lloyd then gave a serious look.
"That's the problem! We shouldn't free them! They are a dangerous force in Ninjago! If it wasn't for my father and uncle, things would be hectic, and the humans would be gone!" Lloyd warned as Gene realized that Lloyd was almost on to him.
Gene had to think of something.
"Hey, we get that. We made a big mistake letting the Hypnobrai go, and we completely understand that. So, what better way to catch a snake than with a snake. From what I read, the Fangpyre are gifted in this sort of thing. We'll get them to force the Hypnobrai back into their tombs, then we'll trick them back into their own. Sounds good?" Gene lied as Lloyd looked conflicted.
"I don't know… Maybe we should go back to the swamp and-."
"No! No, no! Let's not!" Brad shouted as he came up with an excuse, "You'll get into trouble, and this is our mess. We should be the ones to clean it up, right?"
"Right…"
"So, we'll clean up the mess, and then you can go home. Okay?"
"…Okay."
Brad and Gene grinned as the boys continued moving forward, unaware of a serpentine pursuing them.
"Hang on, Lloyd. I'm coming."
Inside the Tomb…
Lloyd was shaking hard as the leader of the Fangpyre approached and sniffed the air.
"I ssssssmelll Venomari…." They hissed, completing their sentences as they glared at Lloyd with hatred.
"Wait, wait, wait! He's our buddy!" Brad assured as he stood between them.
"Plus, don't you want payback from the Hypnobrai, right? Don't you want that?" Gene offered with a sinister look.
"Payback sssssssounds good. Very well, take ussssss to the Hypnobrai and they will be sssssslain." The snake with two heads offered as Lloyd grew more worried and afraid.
The Venomari spy watched as she knew that she would have to be very careful to get close enough to save Lloyd. Once he is safe, the Venomari can move in and stop this nightmare. This would be tricky, but if they had done it once before then they can do it again.
