"Severus, what's bothering you now?" Hermione sat next to Severus on his couch.
"Minerva... I told you she would disapprove."
"Minerva always disapproves of… you in general." Hermione smirked.
"I'm surprised you wanted to defy her. What's gotten into you?"
"Must be all the Slytherin influence in my life now."
"She doesn't believe that I could act honorably with you."
"She's just overly protective of me. I'm not."
"Not what?"
"Overly protective of myself."
Severus raised his eyebrows.
"Here, let me demonstrate." She leaned in and kissed him. "I think I'm addicted…"
"To?"
"To defiance."
"Interesting."
They continued to defy.

I hope you liked my little conclusion. I'm not so happy with Hermione being so outwardly defiant but oh well… I guess you would be if it came to trying to rope in Severus. ;)
