-Interlude 1: Baby Escape-
AN: This interlude was originally part of chapter four but then, midway through, I realized it was better made separate. This one's a little shorter, when I originally made this Fanfiction, I didn't think I would carry it on for long. However, now that I've been working on it more, I realized that I needed to have a better plan, so I worked on planning more beforehand than I was before. I've now got plans for what arks I can do in the future, I'm not gonna spoil them, but I will say they look pretty cool. This resulted in me not putting as much work into the actual chapter itself, so it's also going to be a tad short. Don't expect most of my interludes to be shorter than any other chapter.
Daddy's giving me a ride around the house in his arms, better look excited.
Lukaria dropped me off in my free apartment. This place is extremely cheap, after all it's free! Look at these sturdy bars (crib bumpers), they protect me from the outside. I've got this nice toilet that's attached to by bottom, it follows me anywhere I go. The biggest downside is that there's no door or roof, after all it's a crib… which is basically baby prison.
Ugh… I want to do something! I've just been in this crib being taken care of and practicing magic before bedtime! No! No more! I will achieve freedom, I respect the sturdiness of these bars very much, but I hate these bars! Just got to wait for dad to leave… he's gone. In addition to magic training, I've been training my body. I can use these sturdy baby arms to lift me out of here! I must master the touki of this world to escape… Will I be able to defeat this boss!? I hear the crowd cheering my name! Baby jump! My legs seem to have failed to jump over the entire boss, but my arms have latched on tight! Just got to pull up… and we're off! Now, how do I get down this steep slope? The drop is straight down… there is a carpet on the bottom to lighten my fall, but that isn't enough. I know! I'll use a bunch of compressed wind magic to lighten the fall! Just like in a video game! I go to jump only to realize Saleyakt has used his control over Poky to grab onto the mighty bars. The wind magic didn't help at all… What was I expecting? It requires a lot of force to stop a fall with wind. Dang it. I messed up and had to be helped.
Now that I've defeated the boss, I must fight the next boss. The sturdy doorhandle. I need something to reach it. I'll just have to use my magic to latch on. I extend my earth magic all the way up to the sturdy door handle to wrap it around the handle. All I have to do now is pull away from the door. My body is quite strong especially with my rigorous training, but I haven't been able to build much stamina. I'll need to be wise in how I use it. I've already expended 30% give or take of my energy. The next opponent will not be as easy as the last one… the watchful daddy. If he spots me, he will force me back to level one a.k.a. the crib of failure. This is the boss that I have dreaded, he has beaten me 10:0, I've planned a route to follow. First, I must sneak down the hallway and hide into the closet before he passes by. I don't know his work hours, so I have to pretend like he's always here. He's definitely here right now because it hasn't been that long since he dropped me off.
I waited around five minutes before realizing he wasn't coming. I moved on with the plan, which the next step was running down the hallway and into the kitchen. Mommy is making dinner over a fire, so I got to be really quiet not to disturb her. She was cooking some of the invisible wolf that lives in the woods around here. I've gotten used to the taste over the past month but not to the point that it will distract me from my goals. My will is stronger than that! Then I remembered something, Superd have demon eyes, they can see me from a mile away. Mom looked over to me… I've failed once again. They knew the whole dang time. I had no chance, I'm an utter fool. Mom carried me over to the kitchen table to eat dinner. I guess it's almost time to eat. Well, I can't think of a way to get away without mom noticing, so I'm stuck here. I'll just pout, maybe they'll let me do what I want if I express my emotions more. It's worth a try since I can't do much else. Let's just say that dinner was very awkward.
Anyways, I guess that means I have to learn their work schedules to escape. The sun was lowering but wasn't quite a sunset yet.
