Once Upon a Time

Some things before reading- I changed a few details in the story from the cannon TV Show. After the Final Battle against the Black Fairy, Emma was allowed by Zeus to keep her magic as a reward for completing her task.

And Regina is Emma and Killian's child's Godmother.

The story focusses on CaptainSwan's child, as she goes through her life in Storybrooke/The Enchanted forest. How does she get to the Enchanted Forest? Read to find out. I'm not giving spoilers here.

Henry is often off doing his own thing as an adult, and graduated well before his sister. But he still makes it back for birthdays and holidays.

CaptainSwan's child inherited her mother's magic, and her own version of a 'Super Power' as well.

And there's no 'hard reset' of the storyline in this version. No 'final curse' etc.

I know a lot of controversy surrounds Killian Jones, but please bear with it for the story. This is a story for the CaptainSwan shippers, as well as just the Oncers who just wanted the story to continue a different path beyond season 6.

Author's Comments-

It has been one crazy 2020-2021 season. With Covid, and government shutdowns and everything. My area is one of those regions still dealing with the disease floating around so I'm stuck at home a lot. One of the ways I've killed time, was to work on this story for a Once Upon a Time fanfic I'd had floating in my head for ages now. A couple of friends encouraged me to work on it, then publish it on my fanfic account when I was happy with it, and now I am.

I hope everyone has had a safe, and good last couple of years and will find something to enjoy with this story. Once Upon a Time helped me through my Dad's terminal cancer diagnosis, finding hope in the darkness of that time. It gave me something to look forward to every week once I got sucked into the story line, lore and mythologies all those years ago. My Dad passed on while the show was still going, but I think he would've enjoyed it as well. I got the seasons 1-6 on bluray a couple years before covid hit, and it's on Disney+ as well. So no withdrawals for this Oncer at least!

May all my fellow Oncers find hope in their darkest times, to keep pressing on.

Chapter One- Happy Beginnings to Fateful Encounters

Emma was standing next to her yellow car outside of the school looking for someone as the kids were running from the building on the last day before the start of summer officially hit. She wore her red jacket, and black pants and shirt with her usual shoes. Her eyes searched through the groups of kids before she spotted who she was looking for. A young girl, nearing sixteen with black wavy hair and her father's blue eyes was smiling as she emerged, followed closely by her grandmother.

"Ingrid, I'll see you later!" A girl with flaming red hair, wearing a green blouse said with a wave as she went over to her mother with equally red hair.

"Bye Robin!" Ingrid waved. Robin giggled as she pranced to her mother.

Zelena reached out to hug her daughter.

"Have a good day?" Ingrid could hear Zelena asking her daughter.

"Come on," Snow said gently to Ingrid. "Your mom's waiting."

"See you later, grandma." Ingrid hugged Snow around the middle. Snow gave her a hug back, before she hurried over to her mother. "Mom, hi!"

"Hey there kid. Good day?" Smiled Emma.

"And it's going to be even better, right mom?" She asked.

"Yep, your dad's just getting some last minute details set up and your birthday party can get under way. C'mon."

Ingrid smiled. She wore a blue t-shirt, dark blue jeans and black shoes with her black and blue backpack came unslung from her shoulders as she got into the passenger seat of her car. Emma smiled at her mother, who waved at her.

"I'll see you later for the party right mom?" She asked and Snow nodded, looking like she couldn't be happier.

The sign at Gold's shop said closed, but inside it was bustling with activity. Wrapped presents were set about on a table laid out by Belle, her son Gideon put some of the last.

"Is that the last of it?" Asked Belle.

"I think so, mom." Nodded Gideon.

"So all that's left is the cake, a couple of last minute guests and the birthday girl- Which Swan is picking up from school right now." Killian said, reeling off the tasks that had to be done.

"I just gotta say this- But does anyone find this a bit weird? I mean, having a birthday in Rumple stiltskin's shop?" Asked Grumpy, who had been helping with the party preparations as well.

"Aye, it is a bit weird. But Ingrid wanted it in the shop this year because she didn't want anyone to feel like they were being left out. So, that's what we went with. The lass can be a bit strange at times." Killian added the last bit as a sort of afterthought.

"Well, either way it should all be a bit of good fun tonight for us all," Rumple said as he walked in. "I was just helping put a few last minute touches on the gift from the three of us." He added at Belle's look of 'where have you been?' He held up a box with a tag that read 'From Rumple, Belle and Gideon'.

"You did it, papa?" Asked Gideon, looking excited.

"Oh yes, that spell was an easy one. And as promised, no strings attached." Rumple nodded.

"Really? A gift from you without a backdraw?" Asked Killian offhandedly.

"Well, it is a special occasion and she's never done anything to cross us. So I figured why not?" Said Rumple with a bit of his old swagger.

"Thank you, papa. I hope she'll like it." Gideon said.

"I'm sure she will. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll go keep a lookout for the other guests-" Killian said, pointing his hook at the door. Just as he reached it, it opened nearly smacking him in the face.

"Oooh, so sorry. Didn't see you there." Zelena said with a wide grin of enjoying nearly knocking Killian over with a door.

"Ah, Zelena. I see you and Robin made it." Killian shot a look.

"Just in time to almost knock out a birthday girl's father with a door. I daresay you're losing your touch, Killian." Zelena still had her fire.

"And you're losing yours if you think a surprise door opening would be enough to render me unconscious. If you'll excuse me. Gift table is over there." Killian pointed with his regular hand.

"Robin, hurry up my munchkin. It's almost time." Zelena called.

"Coming mum," Robin said, hurrying over from her lagging behind. "I was just admiring the skies. They're a lovely shade of turquoise today."

Everyone was gathered in the shop. Emma was holding off Ingrid as long as she could when David entered.

"David?" Snow said alarmed.

"What?" Asked David casually.

"Where's the cake? You were supposed to have it all ready!" She said.

"Oh, don't worry about that. It's all taken care of by someone." He commented.

"Here they come!" Neil said, who was on watch duty at the windows.

They heard the car pull up, engine's turn off and doors opening.

On the other side of the door, Emma told Ingrid to go in first.

"There's going to be a blast of noise, isn't there mom?" Asked Ingrid with a raised eyebrow.

"Maybe, but you won't find out if you don't go in. Now c'mon, don't keep everyone waiting." Emma smiled.

Ingrid opened the door to Gold's shop and there was a loud blast of "Happy Birthday!" When she went in.

Robin, Gideon and Neil all went to hug her.

"You all made it! I'm so glad you could come!" Ingrid looked around. There was one person not there she'd been hoping would turn up this year and her face fell a little.

"Now that the birthday girl's here, there's one more thing that would make this day perfect for you." Regina, who caught that little moment, said. "Time to bring out the birthday cake." She and everyone turned.

Henry came from the curtains behind the counter at the shop carrying the large cake.

"One german chocolate cake courtesy of Regina." He said with a big grin on his face.

"Henry! You made it!" Ingrid rushed over to him after he'd set the cake down on the table her presents were piled on.

"How could I miss my little sister's eighteenth birthday?" He grinned, returning the hug.

"Now that everyone's present and accounted for, I think it's time for a song and some cake." Killian said.

"So long as it's not the pirate's song, then we can get on with this." Regina said.

Killian sighed.

"And once again you've been denied." Emma smirked.

"Ah, trust me, we'll make it up on my birthday when I'll give you all a rousing chorus. Now, shall we?" Killian raised his eyebrows.

After a round of happy birthday, it was time to blow out the candles.

"Why don't we see how your magic is going? Blow out the candles, but with your magic." Regina suggested.

Ingrid grinned at the challenge. She knew how to make fire and use her magic. Though sometimes it was a little tricky. And today being a big day for her, she didn't want to mess it up. Ingrid looked over at her mother, who nodded encouragingly. So she then closed her blue eyes and concentrated on putting the fire out on the candles on her cake. When everyone started clapping, she opened her eyes and saw they'd all gone out.

After the cake was consumed, Killian went over to the present table.

"Now that we've all had our fill of cake, I think it's time for the birthday girl to open up her loot." He said, picking up a smaller box first and handing it to her. "The first one's from me, then you can have at the rest." He winked.

"Papa-" She smiled sheepishly. She opened up the small box. Inside was a necklace with a silver chain, and… "Is that the sword from your necklace papa?" She asked looking up at the sword around her father's neck.

"Aye, I asked your mother to do a duplication spell to make an exact copy. Since you've always loved swords, I thought it was appropriate" He said as she quickly put it around her neck- Emma held her hair back for her.

"Now I have one just like you, papa. I'll never take it off." She couldn't resist. She always loved the fact that her father was Captain Hook.

"Only under completely different circumstances." Said Emma.

Ingrid went to tackle the rest of her presents. From her mother, she received a hooded leather jacket, only instead of red hers was blue- Ingrid's favorite color. From her Godmother, Regina, she received a large messenger style leather bag with an enchantment on the inside so she could carry everything she ever needed without it breaking her back. From the Dwarves and Tiny, she received a magical bean with a note that said 'when she was old enough and ready, this bean would be the first step to your own adventures'. From Zelena and Robin she received an enchanted mirror which she could use to look at wherever she wanted to in the world. From her brother she received a signed first edition copy of his book with a note that read 'This edition is just for you, so that no matter where your own adventures take you one day, you'll always remember where you come from, with love your brother Henry'. From Rumple and his family she received an ordinary looking compass. Until Rumple explained the enchantments he put on it at the request of Gideon.

"This compass will lead you to wherever you want or need to go, no matter where you're at. So long as you have that compass with you, you'll never be lost."

Ingrid smiled at the thought.

"Thank you so much. Most kids would bemoan that they got a silly compass. But this isn't a silly ol' compass. I love it!" She said quickly at a look Rumple gave her at the words 'silly compass'. "Well I'm glad, because it suits you." Smiled Belle.

"Indeed, the daughter of a pirate… And the daughter of the Savior." Rumple said.

"I'm sure when she's come of age, she'll be putting that compass to good use." Killian said.

"There's just one last thing you'll need before you're fully outfitted for a future adventure." David said.

"Grandpa?" Ingrid turned and blinked.

"You're eighteen now, and that means you're old enough to have one of these. I've already paid Rumple in full for you to pick one." He lead the way to the stand which held the valuable swords from the realm of the Enchanted Forest.

"You mean I get to pick my own?" She asked eagerly.

"Choose carefully. The sword you pick will be yours forever." Said Rumple.

She found one with a silver and gold handle and hilt and picked it out of the stand. It looked rather unassuming, but it felt right in her hands.

"Is that the one you want?" Asked David as she stood away from him. It was long, with a lengthy handle as well so she could use both hands if she wanted to.

Without warning she unsheathed the weapon, which gleamed in the afternoon early summer light coming through the windows of Gold's shop making several people jump.

"Yeah." She said, smiling at her grandfather. "Yeah, I think this is the one I like best."

"Maybe you should put that away before you take someone's eye out, kid. We are in rather tight quarters here after all." Killian suggested.

After the party was all said and done, things cleaned up, Ingrid thanked the Gold's for letting her have the party there as well as the gift they gave her. She made sure to thank you everyone for coming.

"So kid, what'd you wish for?" Asked Emma as Ingrid got into the back seat with her presents.

"Now if I told you it might not come true." She replied. "Isn't that what papa always says on his birthday?" Killian and Emma exchanged looks as Henry, Snow and David came over.

"We'll be seeing you later for a proper dinner at Granny's right?" Henry asked.

"Of course. We just need to get her stuff put away and we'll meet you there." Nodded Emma as Ingrid started putting her presents into her leather messenger bag.

"That will give us some proper time to catch up. And I'm looking forward to it," Regina walked over, hugging Henry.

At the end of the day, Ingrid was finally able to have some moment's quiet in her room at the family home. Her parents were down below in the kitchen, while she had her ipod headphones on and she was already cracking into the book her brother gave her. Her sword was resting against her nightstand, with a window open. She started humming a pleasant tune as she was reading about her parent's adventures fully for the first time since Henry left for his own adventures.

In the kitchen, Killian looked up above.

"Well I'd say judging by that little tune it's been a good day." He said as Emma pulled out something to drink for the two of them.

"I'm glad. When we first met I never thought we'd have a family together, let alone be married." Emma thought back.

"Aye, I had only an inkling but didn't really think much on it back then either." He admitted.

"Oh come on, you were flirting with me almost from the start after we got a few things out of the way." Emma said right away. "Well, can't argue with you on that one, can I?" He admitted while taking a drink.

An explosion shook Storybrooke so abruptly, and powerfully even the windows trembled.

"What in the bloody hell was that about?" Killian demanded.

"Mom! Papa!?" Ingrid called from the room above, sounding frightened.

Emma and Killian rushed upstairs to see Ingrid on her bed, staring out the window with a mixture of fear and wonder.

There seemed to be an explosion of a pillar of light against the night sky.

"Don't worry, we'll go find out what's going on." Killian said with a reassuring hand on his daughter's shoulder.

"You wanna come?" Asked Emma.

"I don't know…" Muttered Ingrid. Being trained in magic by her mother and Regina since she was ten years old, she knew this had to be a powerful source. There were times when magic still intimidated her. She wasn't a professional yet and she didn't want to mess things up.

"Whatever this is, we need to get going Swan." Killian said.

"We'll be back soon." Emma kissed her daughter on the forehead, Killian gave her a brief squeeze on the shoulder before they hurried out.

Ingrid listened to her parents hurrying out. She'd just been thinking that if she had a year's more of practice with magic, then she would want to go on her own adventure like Henry did when he went on his after his own graduation from Storybrook High.

She kept her cell phone handy in case her parents called. Then on an impulse she started wanting to see just how much she could fit in her bag from her Godmother. She fit her compass, new book, and her new enchanted mirror. She had other things, like a journal she'd gotten on her seventeenth birthday from Regina that forever had pages for her to write in. The magic beans from the dwarves and Tiny, a pen from her brother which never ran out of ink, and even several books on magic she was learning from loaned by Regina.

"Cool," She said when she lifted it up. It wasn't heavy at all. Then, being a typical teenager she went over to her body mirror, putting her phone in her pockets and seeing how she liked to wear her messenger bag over her shoulders. She also wanted to see how she looked in her new hooded leather jacket with the bag and sword.

*. *. *

A woman stood in front of the pillar, which was emanating from the portal. She had extremely frizzy, dark hair. Almost like an afro, held back with a blue and purple bandanna wrapped around her forehead. She looked like she spent a lot of time in the sun, and had her arms crossed over her chest as she stared at the raw magic her partner had used to breach the enchanted forest realm to Storybrooke.

Compared to the rest of the residents of Storybrooke, she looked like a fantasy female pirate. Which is exactly what Ka'a was. One hundred years older than Killian Jones, though she looked no older than her mid twenties. She reached out with a smile as her partner came through the portal.

"We only have a certain amount of time before it closes." He reminded her in his deep, soothing voice. He was taller than her by about two heads, bald, and he also looked like he spent a large amount of his time in the sun. Although he was from the jungle realm, to the far south of the Enchanted Forest and even his clothing resembled that with the warm, sunny colors of his vest but the pants were an earthy, well worn dark brown. Sher Khan then seemed to transform right before her very eyes into a massive, yellow bengal tiger. "You stay here to watch the portal and I'll fetch our prey. That magic explosion is bound to attract some attention." He said before taking off, quietly through the forest along the outside of Storybrooke.

*. *. *

Driving towards the forest in the dark to where the magic explosion happened, Killian pointed out that it looked as though the pillar were starting to shrink and fade away. A creature suddenly jumped out of the forest, pausing long enough for Emma to yell in alarm and swerve off the road. They both got out of the car in time to see the huge tiger taking off into the darkness.

"What the hell is a tiger doing in Storybrooke?" Asked Emma.

"I have a hunch, I just hope I'm wrong." Killian said quietly.

"Let's get going," Emma said after checking that the car was ok and grabbing a torch light so they could see where they were stepping in the wild forest.

Along the way, Killian told Emma of a brother and sister duo who used to work to swindle pirates and other rogues out of their jobs. Not to give back to the poor like Robin Hood, but to keep the fortunes themselves and ruin others. He once raided their hide out after being hired on with the promise that whatever they could fit in their pockets they could keep so long as the initial riches were still given to their employer. Because Sher Khan and Ka'a had attacked his village and stolen from innocent people.

"So it was kind of an honorable charge or something? Get back their gold and keep whatever's left that you could grab?" Blinked Emma.

"Something along those lines. All we cared about was that it was work. We'd been strapped for some time back then. So we pillaged and burned since we'd been given free reign. We weren't any better than the siblings." Killian added.

"Isn't that the truth, Captain Hook?" Ka'a said when they reached the clearing.

"Ah… Thought I smelled a snake." Killian commented. "So I was right, that was your brother I saw on the streets."

"Indeed." Ka'a turned around. She still held herself proudly, even with a bit of swagger as she moved a bit towards them. "I'd heard rumors that Captain Hook had settled down. Even married some woman called the Savior. This must be her." Her eyes gleamed with malice as she looked at Emma.

"And you, you're Ka'a…" Emma said with her eyes narrowed.

"At your service, Savior." Hissed Ka'a bowed to her.

"Careful Swan, she's a snake who can't be trusted." Said Killian without missing a beat.

"And she shouldn't trust me, after all we just met." Grinned Ka'a.

Killian unsheathed his sword and directed it at Ka'a.

"Answer me this question, snake. Why are you here?" He demanded.

"There's a task that needs finishing. That was started long ago. When I learned the name of the pirate who was responsible for ruining my treasure chamber." Replied Ka'a after a moment with a tilt of the head, raising her hand as she spoke. "Don't you remember, pirate?"

Killian thought back to all those years ago as his crew was loading back up into the Jolly Roger. A snake came racing out of the chambers they'd just taken their treasures from, he was the last aboard the ship making sure each of the men with their spoils got on. He watched as the snake took the shape of a woman who strode towards him. So he raced up the ramps ordering his men to set sail at once and their assignment was complete.

The woman shouted that he would find him and ruin his life the same way he ruined hers that day. She screamed about how she would find what was most precious to him and take it away on the threshold of his greatest victory in life. He called back saying that was a fruitless mission, and he was doubtful while the men laughed jovially at her.

Present day Killian frowned at the woman.

"Yesss… You do remember. I see. At first I thought it was your ship which was most valuable. Then there was something else… I thought it was your woman here…" She laughed when Emma raised up her hand to throw a magic blast at her. "Oh don't worry sweetie, I wouldn't dare trifle with the Savior. At least, not directly." Ka'a raised her right hand quickly and froze the two right where they were. "And I can' have you calling out for help from your little friends or annoying family just yet. I told you then and I'll tell you now… You missed with the wrong snake, pirate."

"You're after our daughter." Emma said, struggling to move even though she was stuck to the spot. Ka'a merely smiled with a tilting of her head again.

*. *. *

Ingrid had just sat on the edge of her bed after playing with her bag. She'd grabbed her phone, realizing it needed a charging and used her magic to do so by waving her hand over it. The phone glowed briefly turquoise then was back to normal, this time fully charged. She grinned at her handiwork.

"I love magic." She found herself saying out loud. She then heard a loud thump or thud downstairs.

Normally one of her parents would text her when they were on their way home from the Sheriff's job. She looked at her messages. There weren't any. She then remembered a spell Regina taught her to sense any intruders so she cast it after closing her eyes. She could sense something powerful which was unwelcome in the house. So she put her phone in her bag and grabbed her sword, unsheathing it quietly.

She was scared about what was going on, but with keeping her training in mind for keeping a level head, she braced herself. Instinct told her to flee, but she had nowhere to go. She could hear the floor boards creaking as whoever it was moved down below. She cast a spell silently to keep the lights from being able to be turned on by the intruder. Looking over at the window and seeing the street down below, she only had one shot.

She closed her eyes and vanished from the spot in a cloud of white smoke. However, instead of landing on the pavement of the road, she landed on the front porch of Regina's house, falling hard on the cement. Her Godmother. She wasn't an expert in this field of magic yet, that much was obvious.

Moments after falling, the door opened revealing Regina in a red suit dress.

"Ingrid! What's going on?" She asked, kneeling down.

"I don't know. There was a pillar of magic coming from the forest, mom and papa went to check it out." Ingrid gasped, standing up slowly. "Then I heard the door being forced open and cast that spell you taught me…"

"An intruder…" Regina realized. Ingrid nodded.

"I could hear them looking around the house, and I felt for sure they would be coming up the stairs any moment. I could feel their power… Whoever this intruder was and I freaked out. I meant to land in the street…"

Regina smiled.

"You just need more practice. In the meantime, we should probably get you inside if something is hunt…"

"But what about mom and papa?" Asked Ingrid, sheathing her sword.

"We'll be able to find out what's happening. Follow me." Regina loved helping Ingrid, and every now and then still felt amazed that Emma and Killian's child trusted her so much. But then again, Ingrid's 'super power' was similar yet different than that of her mother's. Instead of knowing when people were lying to her, Ingrid's 'super power' was being able to tell people who were trustworthy or not. And whoever this was forcing entry on the Jones' home, was not trustworthy at all if their mere presence scared her.

Regina led Ingrid to a mirror in her office.

"Now, focus on your parents. This mirror will show us where and what's going on." Regina said calmly.

Taking a few deep breaths, Ingrid closed her eyes and focused her attention.

The mirror swirled like a fog coming over it. Before warping to show the image of her parents frozen in place and a tall woman standing in between them and a portal.

Regina's eyes seemed to darken as Ingrid's opened. Rushing footsteps told them that Henry was hurrying over when he heard Regina rushing to her entry of the house.

"Mom?" Henry asked.

"In here!" Regina called.

"Who's that? What's going on?" Henry looked at the mirror.

"K'aa." Regina grumbled in annoyance. "Looks like we have a snake infesting my town. And where there's a snake, her tiger is sure to be on it's leash."

"K'aa… That's the snake from the Jungle book story?" Henry blinked.

"Only there's much more to her than just trying to strangle a simple child in the jungle. It seems she has a personal vendetta against your step-father." Regina replied to Henry. "Come on you two, we're going snake and tiger hunting."

*. *. *

"K'aa, there's a problem." Sher Khan appeared next to K'aa.

"What? Where's the girl?" Demanded K'aa.

"That's the thing, when I got up to the top floor of the home, she'd already disappeared." Sher Khan said as Killian and Emma exchanged looks.

"What? Where could she go in such a hurry?" Demanded K'aa, her eyes glowing in rage and impatience. "How did she know to get out so quickly? Unless…" She paused, looking over at Killian. "You warned her somehow, pirate! How?" "I didn't do anything, love." He said the last words with malice. "That is part of my daughter's natural bourne skill. Knowing who she can and can't trust. And I'm sure the moment the tiger forced entry into our house, she could smell danger a mile away." He said all of this with a fierce pride.

"And there's only one person she would turn to when we can't be there," Emma grinned. "And trust me, she's not a person you want to see when she's been ticked off."

"You love your child, don't you pirate? Savior?" K'aa said a little quieter now, seething in silent rage.

"Of course. What decent parent wouldn't love their child?" Snapped Killian.

K'aa smirked, looking over at Sher Khan.

"Good. Then it will bring me even more pleasure watching your suffering when I steal away what is yours." Sher Khan growled.

"Not on my watch!" Regina's voice sounded suddenly, as the body binding spells on Killian and Emma were lifted.

"Ooooh, look who is here Sher Khan!" K'aa hissed gleefully.

"The Evil Queen…. So this is the one the Savior mentioned." Sher Khan said as Emma and Killian looked over. Ingrid hurried to her parents to hug them, but the tiger moved too quickly for any of them.

Henry and Regina were shouting as Regina sent out blasts of fire magic. Killian took several swipes with his sword at Sher Khan, while Emma shot a blast of light magic at K'aa.

In all the chaos, Sher Khan used distraction to take hold of Ingrid and reappearing in front of the portal.

"Ingrid!" Killian yelled out.

Regina and Emma both shot spells out at Sher Khan who had Ingrid's arms pulled behind her back with one hand. The other gripped right over where her heart was.

"Ah-ah-ah, Savior. Pirate… Queen…" Hissed K'aa in a sing song voice, triumph lacing her words. "Now if you don't mind, my long awaited revenge on all of you… Darling-" She looked over at Sher Khan.

"With pleasure." He smirked, looking at how frozen they all were, without the use of a body binding spell. It was amazing what a direct threat to a life did to the Evil Queen now, when she used to not care.

"Mom… Papa…" Ingrid's blue eyes looked over at them in quiet desperation. She was never the screaming or yelling type of person. She didn't have a chance to say or hear anything they said in return before she went through the portal with the man called Sher Khan.

A blast of fire struck K'aa in the back as she turned to step into the portal after her partner. Knocking her down and away while Sher Khan and his prisoner vanished. Before Emma and Killian reached the portal, K'aa shut it with a closing of her right hand.

Regina used magic to drag K'aa into their throng, raising up the woman by the throat grip. It was clear they were all pissed off now at the snake.

"What just happened? Where did you send my daughter off to?" Demanded Killian with his sword at K'aa's throat.

K'aa just grinned.

"Does that really matter now, pirate? What matters is what's actually going to happen to her." She replied.

"If you won't tell us willingly, we've got another way to make you talk." Emma said.

"Oh? You think you can make me tell you anything?" K'aa looked at the Savior skeptically. "You're supposed to be a Savior. Yet you couldn't even save your own daughter from my beloved. Heh. Some Savior."

"That's about enough out of you." Regina stepped forward.

"Evil Queen… Not so evil now if I'm still alive. What was the threat you made the last time we met?" Chuckled K'aa, still hovering in mid air with a sword to her throat.

"Oh you'll still be dead, but only after we get what we need from you. I'm not just going to make you talk. You'll be singing by the time we're done with you, snake." Regina's old self showed through as the hand she was using to hold up K'aa with magic brought her nearer to Regina, and she reached without qualms to rip her heart out in an instant. Only after Regina had K'aa's blackened heart glowing in her hands did Regina let go of her. K'aa fell, gasping to the forest floor.

"Now you're going to tell us everything." Said Emma.

*. *. *

Lying face first, unconscious on the jungle forest floor, Ingrid didn't stir when Sher Khan knelt down by her head. One of the skills he was known for happened to be memory erasing. Turning her over on her back, he chuckled.

"Such an innocent thing you are. Shame you had to be related to the pirate. You could've lived a long happy life anywhere if it weren't for that." He sighed. "Now then…" He put his hand several inches over her forehead. A bluish glow indicated the spell he cast. "When you wake, you won't remember who you are or where you are from. All you will know is your name… and what you can do. That will be the pirate's punishment for stealing from us. We steal away the most precious thing he has ever known."

Sher Khan stood up, and slowly turned into the massive tiger, backing away from the unconscious young woman.
