Day 8
Buizel had a strict regiment when it came to his offsprings. He wanted them to be strong and hardworking which his children were onboard with. And each infant would become just that: a major powerhouse, one way or another.
[Psyduck, the Duck Pokémon. Psyduck is constantly beset by headaches. If the Pokémon lets its strange power erupt, apparently the pain subsides for a while
Gender: Male
Ability: Cloud Nine
Moves: Scratch, Tail Whip, Disable, Confusion, Water Gun]
With Psyduck, Ash stifled his laughter when he thought about how much Misty's was often disobeying her commands. But Oak made a recommendation about soothing headaches, saying to teach him Calm Mind. The boy looked up the move in the Pokédex and found it helps with concentration and he would definitely teach him that move sometime in the future. Psyduck himself was somewhat dopey like Snorlax's Slowpoke but had the same clueless look on his face. Ash hoped this wouldn't be the case for long.
[Clamperl, the Bivalve Pokémon. Despite its appearance, it's carnivorous. It clamps down on its prey with both sides of its shell and doesn't let go until they stop moving.

Moves: Water Gun, Whirlpool, Iron Defense]
Unlike Squirtle's Clamperl, Buziel's was more battle-oriented possibly due to the Sea Weasel's trait. The Hoenn Bivalve Pokémon fancied training like his dad rather than been considered beautiful which made Ash remember about the clam's branched evolution. He thought about getting both a Huntail and a Gorebyss, probably the former evolving from Buziel's line.
[Clobbopus, the Tantrum Pokémon. It's very curious, but its means of investigating things is to try to punch them with its tentacles. The search for food is what brings it onto land.

Moves: Rock Smash, Leer, Feint, Bind, Detect, Brick Break]
Clobbopus made Ash surprised. He found out the Galarian cephalopod was a pure Fighting type like Crabrawler is and became a very strong Pokémon by the name of Grapploct. The Tantrum Pokémon himself lived up to his Pokédex entry by punching things... which happened to be Ash's leg. Enduring the pain since he was no stranger to it, Ash managed to shake it off and the Fighting- type octopus apologized before liking his dad's trainer.
[Relicanth, the Longevity Pokémon. Relicanth is a rare species that was discovered in deep-sea explorations. This Pokémon's body withstands the enormous water pressure of the ocean depths. Its body is covered in tough scales that are like craggy rocks.

Moves: Harden, Dive, Water Gun, Ancient Power, Yawn, Take Down]
Relicanth was only limited to the water which meant Ash had to approach the riverbed to meet the Water/Rock-type fish. The Longevity Pokémon had a different means of training, using the lake as a mean of exercise. To the trainer, Ash never considered catching the ancient fish since they were always found in deep sea but he was more than happy to have Relicanth on his team.
[Galarian Slowpoke, the Dopey Pokemon. Although this Pokémon is normally zoned out, its expression abruptly sharpens on occasion. The cause for this seems to lie in Slowpoke's diet.

Moves: Zen Headbutt, Curse, Growl, Acid, Yawn, Confusion, Disable, Water Pulse, Amnesia]
Finding out there was a Galarian Slowpoke through Ash in for a loop, much like Clobbopus did. Finding out the Dopey Pokémon had a regional variant was something Ash wasn't expecting, let alone thinking was a thing. But the pure Psychic type followed the footsteps of many Slowpokes before with a small mind but the boy didn't complain about it. He was more than happy to
Gliscor soared and tackled his trainer with much joy upon being recognized. The Fang-Scorpion Pokémon had gotten a better flight pattern and made use of it in teaching his two children who could fly. His other three who couldn't fly -at least not one at the moment- scurried on the ground and met their dad's trainer with much gusto. The Pallet Town native soon found out that his Ground/Flying-type kids love to climb or coil.
[Yanma, the Clear Wing Pokémon. Its large eyes can scan 360 degrees. It looks in all directions to seek out insects as its prey.
Gender: Male
Ability: Speed Boost
Moves: Quick Attack, Gust, Double Team, Aerial Ace, Detect, Supersonic]
Yanma hovered around Ash, assessing him before landing on his head and resting. The red dragonfly got a nice scratch along the thorax which made him emit buzzing sounds of joy. The Alolan Champion remembered how Speed Boost functioned and he was very happy to have the Clear Wing Pokémon on his team as a fast and agile Pokémon.
[Skorupi, the Scorpion Pokémon. It grips prey with its tail claws and injects poison. It tenaciously hangs on until the poison takes.

Ability: Sniper
Moves: Fell Stinger, Poison Fang, Bug Bite, Toxic Spikes, Venoshock, Knock Off, Hone Claws]
Skorupi scurried to his trainer's feet and wrapped his tail with love. Ash leaned down and scratched the Scorpion Pokémon down his body and to his tail. The Bug-Poison-type made Ash think of how powerful Paul's Drapion was since he managed to poison a majority of his team during his final match against the Veilstone trainer. He began to think about how he could use that during his future battles if Skorupi chose to evolve.
[Combee, the Tiny Bee Pokémon. The members of the trio spend all their time together. Each one has a slightly different taste in nectar.
Gender: Female
Ability: Honey Gather
Moves: Sweet Scent, Gust, Struggle Bug, Bug Bite]
Combee was timid, hiding behind her dad's wing. She seemed to be nervous and like the trainer he is, Ash took it slow approaching the conjoined bees. The Tiny Bee eventually nuzzled up to her trainer, even performing various aerial maneuvers to express her true happy attitude.
[Spinarak, the String Spit Pokémon. It spins a web using fine—but durable—thread. It then waits patiently for prey to be trapped.

Moves: Poison Sting, String Shot, Absorb, Infestation, Scary Face, Night Shade, Shadow Sneak, Fury Swipes]
Spinarak scurried up Ash's leg before placing himself on the bag. He chittered happily before Gliscor had to pry him off. The green spider jumped off before scurrying again, this time onto the trainer's head which was previously occupied by Yanma. The String Spit Pokémon looked quite agile and nimble which made the Alolan Champion think about using those techniques for when the Johto arachnid evolved if he chose to do so.
[Grubbin, the Larva Pokémon. It spits a sticky thread to stop opponents in their tracks, and then it grabs them in its sharp, sturdy mandibles to take them down.

Ability: Swarm
Moves: Vise Grip, Mud-Slap, String Shot, Bug Bite, Bite]
Grubbin had been an Alolan Pokémon he wanted but missed his chance. But yet again, one of his Pokémon gave him a larvae for one of his desired Pokémon. The Alolan Bug chittered and was lifted by his region's champion. Ash didn't hold back a smile, loving the little Larva Pokémon and planned to make him strong.
