Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh GX.

Post after: Alexis in the Love of Second Chance or Hearts are Wild. I don't know the episode name anymore. It's where Alexis duels the Gambler, Pierre.

Alexis was sitting outside on the cliff where Jaden was earlier. This time, Jaden came up to Alexis and asked, "Lex, what's wrong?" Alexis looked up to Jaden and he sat down next to her. She looked down, and said something softly. "What?" He asked, not hearing her.

"I said that my duel with Pierre brought back memories of my mother." Jaden now saw that her mother's red scarf was held in her hand. She tightened her grasp on it, and looked over to Jaden. "My mother… she passed away when I was young. She gave me her scarf, as a reminder of her. I miss her a lot." A tear dropped from her eye, but Jaden wiped it with his thumb.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know. Do you wanna talk about it?" He scooted a bit closer to her.

"It's all right." They stayed there for a while.

"So Alexis… why didn't you go with Pierre? I mean, besides the fact that your brother is here, and the spirit keys in danger, and all that. You sounded kinda harsh."

"Well, for one thing, he thought if he kept on winning, I would fall in love with him. But it's the exact opposite. And come on." She looked out into the sea. "All these years, I thought about what had happened. He stole my scarf Jaden, the only reminder of my mother. He lost my trust after that."

Another momentary silence past.

"Well, I know one thing." Alexis looked up. "I'm totally glad you're staying!" Alexis smiled. Jaden continued, "And if you ever need to talk to someone, I'll be here, got that?"

Alexis hugged Jaden and he did the same. She talked into his shoulder, saying, "Thank you Jaden. Same here." She was relieved in saying that, for she wanted to say it earlier, but was too shy.

" So…" Jaden started, pulling away from her. "Are you sure that was the only reasons you didn't go with Pierre?" Jaden said smirking, lifting up the mood.

Alexis glared at him, then laughed and said, "No. Don't tell, but I'm interested in someone else."

"Really? Who? Can you tell me? Please?" Jaden begged with puppy eyes.

"What? Are you crazy? I'm not telling you!" Alexis said, getting up and backing away from Jaden.

"Oh come on!" He started to chase after her. "Please?"

"No!" She shouted as she ran back to her dorm.

"Oh come on! Don't you trust me?" Jaden pouted again.

Alexis laughed. "With my life, yes. With my secrets, no!"

"Oh yea! Sure! With something as big as your life you can depend on me! But with a little secret I'll never tell? Please! Tell me! You can trust me!"

Alexis stopped running. Jaden caught up to her and pouted again. "Please?"

Alexis contemplated. "Fine, but don't tell a soul. If anyone finds out, I'll make sure that those shadow riders send you to the darkness, whether you win the duel or not!"

"Wow. Harsh. But you can trust me Lex."

Alexis looked around, then came closer to Jaden, and whispered into his ear. "Good."

Jaden blinked, and then someone's warm lips were over his, and as soon as his eyes opened, Alexis ran off, shouting, "See ya later Jaden!"

"Uh- yea! Bye Alexis!"

But this wasn't the end.

Okay, I'm happy. I didn't want a kiss in there, but I decided against it. Please review. I might make a sequel, if I'm up to it.
