Recap: nick just fell to the ground and the guy that saved you from him is a vampire. QS "your a...a...a vampire aren't you?" you asked trying to back up but only to remember there's a tree behind you. He rested his left hand on the tree right next to your head and leaned on it. "Know what gave you that idea?" he asked liking his fangs tontingly."well in all the vampire books I've read they all have blood shot eyes and very pale skin and not to mention fangs." you said looking away from him not wanting complete eye contact. he let out a light laugh and leaned in closer to." let me guess you earned the nickname freak because you like weird things such as those books you read." he said sliding his other hand under your chin and made you look at him directly. "Yes" you said in a soft voice. "I always liked vampires and other horror film creatures." you said leaning your head against his arm. He let another laugh out. "Well those creatures aren't like the ones in movies their much worse in real life. And there not always nice like me and actors always stretch the truth" he said running his right hand through your hair and down your neck.
"Well I have to leave but I still want some of your blood." he said moving his head to your neck and breathed on it lightly. "NO!" you yelled pushing him pack. "So you don't want to be a vampire?" he asked moving back to you. "it's not like I don't want to it's just I don't want to be one right now." you said forcing yourself up from the tree. He walked back up to you and stroked your arm forcing the sleeve to move up your arm. "Well if you don't want to be a vampire and I don't want to make you a ghoul then I'll do the next best thing" he said grabbing your arm and pulling you into him. He bent down and rubbed his hand on your arm just two inches below your shoulder. He ran his finger nails along it and sliced your skin. You let out a slight gasp as you felt blood drip down your arm. You felt his tongue lick the blood that was running down your arm and made his way to the main source of blood. You didn't feel his teeth at all just him sucking the blood out. He removed his mouth from your arm but before he did he lick it one more time and moved away. "See that wasn't to bad know you won't turn into anything and I'm not thirsty so we both win" he said smiling at you.
You looked at your arm and saw it wasn't bleeding it looked like a scar. He turned away from you and began walking away. "Wait what's your name? Mine's shenzy" you called to him running up behind him but started to fall. He turned around and caught you just before you hit the ground. He lifted you up and looked deep into your eyes again. "It's Lan and I'm sure I'll see you again." he said as he let go of you and started walking away. You started to rub the spot were he took your blood. "and that's my mark by the way so if another vampire comes and tries to bite you just show them that mark and they'll leave you alone, and he'll wake up in a couple of minutes." he said looking down at nicks body. You looked at nicks body and looked back at lan but he was gone. You started walking to your house and reached it in a couple of minutes. You took a shower and washed your school clothes and jumped in bed and stared at the ceiling thinking about how you just met a vampire and are still alive. You ran your fingers across the mark and smiled. 'A vampire's mark.' you thought to yourself as you drifted to sleep.
Short dream you're in a small damp room looking around endlessly for a way out when you heard something behind you. "don't be afraid the darkness isn't so bad, when someone's with you." you recognized the voice, it was lan's."lan? Where are you I can't see you? I'm getting scared." you asked starting to feel around for his body. You felt him wrap his arms around your neck and he leaned on you. "There's no one here but us, so there's no need to be scared." he said in your ear sending goose bumps though your whole body. He turned you around so you were now facing him. He pulled you into him for an embrace you've never felt before. It had a meaning it had love and longing. "I've never felt this close to someone before" he said releasing you from his hug. "I feel like I can tell you everything that had happened to me and not get mad. " he said backing you into a wall and placing his hands against the wall on the sides of your head. He bent his head down and you could feel his breath on your lips. You could all most feel his lips on yours then there was a bright light and it blinded you. End dream
