Marie's POV:

One Month Later:

Just as I had seen, we found Tony exactly a month later.

It was thanks to the help of C. M.Vell.

She didn't believe at first that Nebula was a threat until the ship they were located on, reached out the outer atmosphere of our planet.

Pepper was beside herself as we finally saw C.M bring down the ship, and a very dehydrated Tony stumbled down the ramp, followed by Nebula.

As soon as her feet touched the ground I immobilized her, without hesitation.

"Marie, let her go, kid. She's on our side." Tony weakly said as Steve and the others helped him walk into the building.

"Not a chance, Tony. She is our downfall." I argued as I felt her struggle against my strength.

I easily picked her up into the air, waving my hands up before me, as she gasped and struggled to get free.

"Do it." Clint said as he held everyone else back.

I nodded, wordlessly before closing my hands together, ripping off the small camcorder on the side of her face, crushing it, and watching her neck snap with a simple twist of my fingers.

The life in her eyes quickly extinguished as her limp body fell to the ground with a thud.

"Why did she—why did you do that?" Tony asked, horrified, as he turned to look at me.

I turned to look at him, knowing my eyes were flashing in the same bright blue that they usually did when I used my powers as I looked over at him.

Wiggling my fingers before throwing the images into his mind.

His eyes widened as he saw the weight of what was about to happen.

"I will not let that happen." I vowed, as my eyes grew misty.

"How— how does he manage that?" He asked me.

"He's already made half the people in the universe disappear. He shrunk down the stones to atom size. Thor will kill him as soon as he sees him, he's already killed Loki." I whispered.

"Then what do we do next?" He asked desperately.

"We have to find him. We kill him. We go back in time, and you get the stone." I answered.

"What? No, absolutely not. Do you know how difficult it would be to start doing that?" Tony asked me.

"It will be. But you have to do it." I replied.

"We have to— what about you?" He asked.

"I am going to bring back everyone who disappeared back." I replied. "Nat, Pep. You two stay here. I mean it, Nat. Don't go anywhere." I said as I moved towards the door.

"I don't even know where to begin… where do we even start?" Tony asked as we led him inside.

"Scott should be here soon… He'll help you. So, will Bruce. Look for him." I whispered, as I walked out of the room, needing a moment to myself as I did.

I could hear everyone arguing about how to proceed as I paced the length of my room anxiously.

Adalyn laid in the middle of the bed, staring at the ceiling as she kicked her little feet.

I knew I had to leave soon, but I wasn't looking forward to it.

Just as I began to prepare my departure, Jamie walked into the room I could tell he had felt when I made the decision, because suddenly he was knocking on the door and sitting on the bed staring at his little sister for a moment before turning to look at me.

"Will you be gone long?" He asked me, frowning.

I shook my head, as I turned away from him so he wouldn't see the tears in my eyes.

"Can I come with you?" He asked.

"No, baby, I need you to stay here, and watch and protect your baby sister." I whispered as I kneeled in front of him.

"So, you're leaving us?" He asked, tearfully.

"Baby, I would never leave you. But I need you to understand something. This is something I need to do, to keep you all safe, to bring your brother and sisters back. But I need you to promise me something. Can you do that for me, sweetheart?" I asked, wiping his tears away and brushing his hair off his face.

Had it been a normal day, he'd complain and tell me how much I baby him, but today he leaned into my touch, and took a shaky breath, before nodding in response.

"If anything— If anything happens to me… tell everyone I love your brother and sisters that I love them and that I'll be watching over them…" I whispered.

"Is something going to happen?" He asked me, worried.

"No, sweetheart, I'm just going to get everyone back." I said, as something formed in the pit of my gut.

He sighed, "O—okay I promise." He said.

I smiled at him, kissing his forehead before taking a deep breath.

"Don't tell anyone that I've left until the big hand on that clock reaches three, okay." I whispered.

As he nodded, I closed my eyes and began to concentrate to pinpoint the location that Galy showed me earlier.

"I'll be right back." I promised, before I felt myself move.
