To Die For Her
It might have been Keiko's birthday, but what was on Yusuke's mind was anything but. He had plans to go out with his buddy's and maybe even get into a few brawls while they're at it. That might be a reason why she went missing in the first place.
When Yusuke went home from work around noon to see his wife before meeting up with some friends from work he found she wasn't there. In her place was a note, an upturned couch, cat food spilled all over the kitchen floor, and mud all over the carpet. Yusuke was so freaked out by the thought that his wife had been kidnapped. Who would have done this?
Dear Yusuke,
We have your beloved wife on her birthday. If you want to see her again, you might want to come looking for her…
Signed, S, K, B, H, K, Y, K
Yusuke was confused more then ever. It wasn't Keiko's birthday was it? Today was January 30th…oh no… it was. He smacked his head and shoved the note in his pocket. Running he took off to Keiko's parents house. They had no idea where she was. Next Yusuke went to see Kurama.
"I'm sorry Yusuke she's not here," Kurama shook his head sadly. "Why the hurry? Did something happen to her?"
"I think so," Yusuke blink wildly trying to think clearly. "Someone's taken her. I want her back, Kurama. Who ever has taken her might harm her. I love Keiko more than the air I breathe."
"Every poetic," Kurama smiled slightly. "Do you have any clue who has taken your wife?"
"Not really," Yusuke shrugged. "Just a bunch of letters. I'm not sure if they mean anything."
"Did you talk to Yukina?" Kurama asked. "Maybe Kuwabara or Yukina have seen her lately."
"Alright.," Yusuke nodded and back away. "Thanks." With that he took off to the newly weds house.
"Dude, how would I know where Keiko is? She is your wife. And it is her birthday," Kuwabara said. "Man, you gotta keep better track on your woman."
"Shut up you idiot! I want Keiko back!" Yusuke punched him in the face. "If anything happens…I don't know what to do with my self."
"Well, I still can't believe you forgot her birthday," Kazuma laughed.
"Kazuma, maybe Yusuke has something special planned for Keiko for when they find her. Don't you Yusuke?" Yukina smiled brightly.
Around eight Yusuke still had no idea where Keiko could be. In defeat, Yusuke went to Kurama and Shizuru's house again. Shizuru answered this time looking a bit pissed off. "Find her yet?"
"No," Yusuke said. "I feel terrible. I've been such a bad husband. First I go out with my fiends all night, then I forgot her birthday, and to top it off Keiko, the woman I love, gets kidnapped. Shizuru I'd die for her if I knew she would be safe."
"Glad to hear it Yusuke!" Keiko smiled from behind Shizuru who was smiling to her self as fits of laughed came from the other room where the gang was. Yusuke grabbed Keiko and kissed her.
"I love you so much Keiko," Yusuke said holding her to him. "I was so scared."
"I love you too Yusuke," Keiko hugged him back. "You're just going to have to make it up to me tomorrow."
"I will, Keiko. I promise," Yusuke said kissing her again.
