Summary, Author's Note, and Disclaimer, in that order.

230 word drabble from Saint Dane's journal, post RoZ. It just gives us a look into his mind, how he sees his losses and things. I don't own Zadaa, Veelox, Quillian, St. Dane, Bobby, Loor, or Mark and Courtney.

---

My loss on Zadaa is nothing. It is inconsequential in the whole scheme of things. If anything, it helps me. Pendragon and the girl will think they have the upper hand, but they do not. I know how Quillian is going to come out...it is like Veelox...already at its turning point, and there is no way to save it. They are fighting a loosing battle.

After I finish off Quillian, I will turn my attentions to Third Earth. I am already investigating the turning point, and I know what I am going to do. Third Earth will be just as easy as Veelox.

The other Territories mean nothing. They become easier each time...I will simply return to them after I take Second Earth...the loss of his home Territory will demoralize Pendragon so much that he will not be able to fight me. Pendragon's acolytes will not be there to help him. Perhaps he will join me. That girl will not turn against Pendragon, not now. I will be able to convince her the very moment I re-attack Zadaa, and win.

Losses are insignificant. They do not make me any weaker. Winning makes me stronger, and makes THEM weaker. It is simple...they cannot fight me forever. Soon new Travelers will come, and these will die. New Travelers are so easy to defeat.

THIS is the way it was meant to be.
