The lives of all the steves and ponies have changed forever. The Red Steves are back in society. Since they had, Professor Red, with the help of Elemental Steve, Assistant Steve and a few Indigo Steves, constructed portals that lead between all the kingdoms in the overworld and Equestria. Trade routes between the steves and Equestria began to be set up. The Colourless Guard and the Royal Guard began carrying out duties together. Over time, the steves and Equestria fully unify. This here are how the steves have been affected.

All the steves have heard about Equestria by now. All of Equestria have heard about the steves by now. At first, only a few ponies at a time began visiting the kingdoms of the overworld, and only a few steves began visiting Equestria. Even after a week since reforming Madness Steve, the regular steves and regular ponies were still a bit nervous of each other, wary, but intrigued. The leaders and Twilight agreed they'd work on their solutions to overcome the problem, focusing on their own ends.

All the leaders met at the abandoned library, a small stone structure that wasn't too far from the remnants of the Rainbow Kingdom. It was the abandoned library, which had been turned into a HQ for the leaders, most of the work refurbishing the place being done by the Orange and Yellow Steves, with the Red Steves checking the stability of the structure after being refurbished. All the leaders were discussing on how to encourage the ponies to come and see the kingdoms. Both sides were nervous, and the leaders, especially the Violet Leader, were worried tensions would rise because of it. The Yellow Leader mentioned that a Yellow Steve (future reference, he'll be called Mailman Yellow Steve) had began to take on the roll of delivering mail. Although Mailman Yellow Steve can encourage the steves, none of the leaders could think of a pony who could encourage the ponies, except for M. M knew of a female pegasus that he knew specializes in delivering mail, and devotes her life to the job. M suggested Mailman Yellow Steve and the pegasus could cooperate, delivering leaflets about the steves and ponies. The leaders liked M's idea, and all agreed they'll put the idea to test the next day. After the meeting, they went back to their kingdoms, with the Indigo and Blue Leader going back to their worlds.

After returning to the Yellow Kingdom, the Yellow Leader met with Mailman Yellow Steve and asked if he was free tomorrow, which he replied with a nod. He explained that he was gonna meet with a pegasus the next day, and told him to be ready at the castle the next day.

(The next day)

M went to the Steve Village. He saw the Yellow Village Leader, and asked where Sabre lived, as he never been to the village before. The Yellow Village Leader led M to the house that was nearest to the cemetery, which was at the back. M said thank you, then went to knock on the door. The door was answered by Dark Steve. M asked where Sabre and Time Steve was, as he needed to ask them something. Dark Steve said Sabre was upstairs, and Time Steve won't be there all day, as he has projects to do with Doctor Whooves, and would later be meeting up with Rarity at her boutique. Dark Steve went upstairs, and a few seconds later, came back down with Sabre. M explained to Sabre he needed to get Derpy, then told to go to the Yellow Kingdom and meet with the Yellow Leader. Sabre asked what it was about, which M explained it was to help encourage all steves and ponies to visit each reality more through the use of mail. Sabre said it was a good idea. He also said that Derpy was actually with Therapist Green Steve at the moment. Sabre asked Dark Steve if he would be okay on his on, which he nodded. With that, Sabre and M headed to the house of his longtime Green Steve friend.

Derpy and the Green Steve were sat on the birch couch that was on the left side as you came in, with a smaller birch chair and a stone brick fire place on the right. Even after everything going back to normal, Derpy said she still couldn't help but feel like a monster with the power she had, and what she did when corrupted. Even the things she did help with, she felt she didn't do anything great. The Green Steve responded that she wasn't at fault. He also mentioned that Sabre was once in a similar situation as Derpy. There were other steves, like the Indigo Leader as well. There were others who'd understand Derpy's feelings. They heard a knock at the door, which Derpy got up off the couch to answer. She opened the door and standing there was Sabre and M. He explained that the Yellow Leader wanted to see her, which Derpy nodded. M then used his abilities, summoning lightning to teleport Sabre and Derpy to the Yellow Kingdom.

Both Sabre and Derpy were still finding it weird that they weren't using abilities themselves. They had used abilities for quite a bit, it felt like a while. They were used to having abilities. They were outside, by the giant door. Sabre asked a nearby Colourless Guard if the Yellow Leader was in the castle. They replied they were actually outside by the outpost that was on the opposite side down below. He also said that he was waiting for a pony M spoke of. Sabre was about to ask the Colourless Guard if Derpy could wait here, but the pegasus countermanded. She will go with Sabre. They both walk down the stone slope that went from the castle down to the main kingdom, both were talking as they walk down. Derpy shared with Sabre what she was talking about with his Green Steve friend, the 2 stopped halfway down. Sabre understood what it was like being in Derpy's situation, and shared his experiences with the pegasus. Both related with each other, they went through similar things, however long ago it was. Whether it was darkness or Madness Steve's essence, the sense of mental clarity and closure lifted the weight they had on them after their chat, they both cried, then lightly hugged, Sabre's arms around Derpy, Derpy's forehooves around Sabre.

They then notice the Yellow Leader and a Yellow Steve with a blue hat with black ribbon around it came over to them. The Yellow Leader asked if they were okay, which they replied yes to. The Yellow Leader introduced Sabre to the other Yellow Steve with him, Mailman Yellow Steve. The 4 talked, and Derpy said she also delivers mail, back in Equestria. The Yellow Leader explained to Derpy that she was going to work with Mailman Yellow Steve to help all steves and ponies to be less nervous of each other, by delivering leaflets. Mailman Yellow Steve said he was looking forward to working with Derpy, and that he had a house down in the main kingdom. While Mailman Yellow Steve and Derpy went off, Sabre and the Yellow Leader talked. Sabre asked what the Yellow Leader thought about all this, which he replied with the ponies of Equestria will leave a positive affect upon the steves. The Yellow Leader also said he had plans to send Yellow Steves to help the earth ponies with things such as crop production once the steves and ponies have accustomed to living together. All the leaders had ideas to have their people contribute to Equestria. Sabre said he needed to get going, as he wanted to go check on Light. The Yellow Leader nodded, and said they'll meet soon. Sabre continued walking down the slope from the hill the castle was perched on, going straight ahead to the outpost once he reached the bottom. Once at the door, Sabre knocked and Light Steve shortly answered, opening the door. Sabre asked if he was okay, which Light Steve said yes. Sabre then asked if they could quickly go somewhere. Light Steve agreed, and told Sabre to think of the location he wanted to go to. Light Steve began striking lightning as he began teleporting.

Sabre and Light Steve were in a forest, with oak and birch trees around. Ahead to the left below them is a hole with water. Sabre explained to Light Steve this was the very first place he was at when he came into their world. It was the place he entered their world. Sabre kept saying he couldn't believe this was where his journey of a lifetime started. Light Steve thought it was nice that Sabre shared that with him. They sat down on the ground and talked.

Sabre asked Light Steve what he was doing with the Colourless Guard, which he replied that the Colourless Guard began coordination with Equestria's Royal Guard. Light Steve also said he became good friends with Fluttershy, and had a tea party with her the other day with Discord. Light Steve said how lovely her cottage was, which Sabre agreed. He shared with her his experiences, when he was Shy Orange Steve, saying to the pegasus he used to be very shy too. Light Steve then gave Fluttershy some advice on how to be more confident and outgoing. He said to her if she needed anything, she knew where to find him.

Light Steve then asked what Sabre was doing, which he replied that he and Derpy grown quite close as friends, saying he and her could relate with their issues and experiences. Sabre said earlier in the day, Derpy came to him as Doctor Whooves wasn't available, which Sabre kind of gathered Derpy and the Doctor were very close. He didn't ask Derpy about the Doctor, wanting to be respectful of her boundaries. Sabre explained to Light Steve how Derpy was feeling, was similar to how he was feeling after getting back control of himself from Shadow Sabre. She had been corrupted and forced to do horrible things, which Sabre said he had been trying to his best in supporting Derpy, and also suggested to her she could also speak to his Green Steve friend (Therapist Green Steve) that was nearby, saying he helped him when he was feeling down. Light Steve thought it was kind of Sabre, making sure Derpy didn't feel like she was getting shunned, like Sabre had been.

Bringing up the topic, Light Steve again apologized about it, which Sabre cuts him off, saying let's enjoy our time together and just be happy. For the rest of the day, just before sunset hit, Sabre and Light Steve chilled in their spot, enjoying the scenery together, talking about their lives. They thought of Rainbow Steve would, the 3rd hero, who was originally an Orange Steve, just like Light Steve was once Shy Orange Steve. They thought about all the adventures they all had, all the way to where they are now. At sunset, Sabre suggested they go to the Orange Kingdom, to pay respects to Rainbow Steve, which Light agreed.

After teleporting to the Orange Kingdom, Sabre and Light Steve walked over the bridge on the left into the main kingdom, and turned right to where Rainbow Steve's memorial was. They payed their respects, putting down a flower each by his memorial. Tears formed in both of their eyes, but were comforted by the thought their friend was at peace. They stayed by the memorial as they pay their respects for a little longer, looking in the darkening night blue sky. They began imagining their friend looking down at them from the world beyond, proud of what they have achieved, proud of what they accomplished, proud of how far the steves had come. About 15 minutes later, Sabre and Light Steve look at the rainbow figure on the memorial before walking away. They bump into Happy Orange Steve, who was asking Sabre and Light Steve if they needed anything. Sabre was so glad he quickly hugged Happy Orange Steve, saying he was relieved to see he was okay. Happy Orange Steve nodded, explaining when he was destroyed, he saw many things, which Sabre said he didn't have to explain. Sabre then asked to be teleported back to the Steve Village, which Light Steve did. Light Steve and Happy Orange Steve hung about for a bit. Light Steve asked Happy Orange Steve to stay at his for the night, saying he was still deep down an Orange Steve. Happy Orange Steve said yes as they began to walk to his house.
