Adrien couldn't stop thinking about that beautiful girl at school all day. In his room, he's been pacing around all over the walls like his feet are magnetic. His heart was beating with love like a love arrow stuck to his heart. So many thoughts in his mind since he thought that he has a crush on Ladybug but this Marinette girl is 10x more beautiful than ever.
"This Marinette girl is really sweet but shy." He thought.
"Dude! What's the matter with you? You've been lovey-dovey all day. Especially stalking Marinette like you want to sink your teeth into" Nino startled Adrien and he almost lost his focus on levitation.
"Me? Stalking? No way." He denied.
The DJ cap boy pulled the dhampir's arm down and made him fall on the couch, "Bro, I know what it is. Don't even try to hide it"
"Hide what? I'm not hiding" Adrien scooted away to get up.
"It's obvious it's love at first sight," Nino said.
"What?!" Adrien screamed and levitates himself again, only this time as in pacing back and forth like a flying ghost, "No, no, no. No way. Agh! What is wrong with me? It's like I don't feel thirsty for blood tonight. What is happening to me?"
"Well, it's normal to feel love," Nino said.
"Even myself as a dhampir, I don't know what love is. What am I gonna do, Nino? I don't even know much about her" Adrien floats to his bed and lies down due to all the thinking in his head.
"Well, you could try to get to know her," Nino suggested.
"Does she even know me as a model?" Adrien complained and morphed into a cat.
"Yes, it's the first time she sees you in person," Nino said.
"But what if she doesn't like the real me? This new life is much harder than I thought because now I feel like the Cupid's arrow is stuck in my heart for all eternity" Cat Adrien complained and jumped up on Nino's shoulders.
"I understand. Well, Chloe and you are no match together" Nino said.
"It's not that I hate Chloe, she's too bossy and clingy, that's all" Cat Adrien said.
"Well then, kitty cat. Tell me all about Marinette and what does it make you feel" Nino puts the black cat down on the bed.
"I feel that my heart racing whenever she's so beautiful," He said.
"You are definitely in love, bro. Anything else?" Nino can see he's hiding it.
The cat morphed back to human and lies down, "She's like a princess that made me be her knight in shining armor. It's so….irresistible to take my eyes off her. I feel….my heart can go on" Adrien sighed dreamily.
"Someone's lovesick" Nino chuckled.
"Oh, you're one to talk. Remember a year ago you got lovesick by the famous blogger who's a fan of Ladybug?" Adrien smirked.
(Flashback)
Adrien saw the look on his best friend's face that he's lovesick and he can't seem to find a way how to tell the girl he loves how he feels.
"Don't you dare use that smirky smiley fangs at me, bro. I have no idea what you're talking about!" Nino lied.
"Are you trying to hide it from me?" Adrien gave a sly grin as he levitates up towards Nino.
"Hide?! Me?!" Nino gulps.
"Yessss." Adrien grinned.
Nino backs away but ends up against the wall while Adrien floats towards him while smirking, "Well?"
"I was thinking about Alya," Nino confessed.
"Was that so hard to tell the truth, buddy?" Adrien floats down.
"Yes, it is because you always spook me whenever I'm spook-en" Nino made a pun.
"Fair enough," Adrien said.
"Don't spook until you're spook-en too, Adrien" Nino teased him.
"Ok then," Adrien said.
(End of flashback)
"Yup, that was spook-en." Adrien snickered.
"It's a pun for spoken when I say spook-en. Anyways, you shouldn't rush into a relationship. I know vampires take a week to be married but us humans, that's a long time to build a relationship" Nino said.
"You have a point there, Nino. I shouldn't rush it" Adrien said.
"Who knows what she thinks of you," Nino said.

With Marinette, she was looking at a picture of Adrien, taken from one of his photoshoots.
"Marinette, you've been starring at the photo for an hour. Your eyes are gonna strain" Tikki said.
"Sorry Tikki" Marinette puts the picture aside.
"You need to know him more before you start a relationship," Tikki said.
"How do you know? Kwamis don't fall in love" Marinette said.
"We don't but us kwamis have given advice to our previous holders for thousands of years," Tikki said.
"Should I just ask him out?" Marinette was unsure.
"Maybe wait when the time is right. We saw he was a little jumpy at school. It's like he's never been to public school all his life. Maybe you can help him a bit, get to know about him" Tikki said.
"Good idea Tikki. But I better not be clumsy" Marinette said.
"Adrien probably thinks you're wonderful. He saved you a few times at school. Don't you think he might like you?" Tikki said.
"I hope." Marinette climbs out to the balcony on her rooftop.
"Come to think of it. Why does his father not let him go out more often? That's not good for his mentality" Tikki asked.
"Maybe he's overprotective?" Marinette guessed.
"Too much of overprotection when Adrien is a teenager right now," Tikki said.
"Well until now he decides to let Adrien attend school," Marinette said, "I think I need to go for a walk, to clear my head"
"Or go on roofs as Ladybug" Tikki suggested.
"Yes. Tikki spots on!" She transformed into Ladybug.
Climbing up to her trapdoor, to her balcony, jumping from the rooftop, and ran on the next rooftops, swinging to one building at another.
She came to the roof building to stare at the lights of the Eiffel Tower, "It's so beautiful." She sat down smiling.
Imagining what it would be like if Adrien was a cat-themed hero, just her and him having a romantic moment together as partners. Like sitting next to each other on the rooftop holding hands. She sighed dreamily if he really had feelings for her.
"Oh, Adrien" She looks at a poster of him.

At the mansion, Adrien couldn't sleep or drink blood due to how lovestruck he is. His father saw that he looks distracted at the dining table. This is the first time something changed his son to this.
"Adrien? What's in your mind?" He asked.
"Oh um, nothing" Adrien lied.
"You've been distracted all day and barely touched your glass of blood and food," His father noticed.
"Oh, um, just thinking, that's all" Adrien chuckled nervously and quickly gulped blood.
"I see. Things seem to be going well at school I guess." His father said.
Adrien finished drinking blood and licked his lips to clean the blood off, "Yup, met more of Nino and Chloe's friends. And no, they said nothing of my dhampir side" Adrien said.
"That's good. But make sure no one sees your teeth." He reminded him.
"Of course. Or else they'd freak out." Adrien nodded.
"Are you sure they didn't see, my son? This is very serious you know. No one should know what you are" His father said.
"Yes. Nobody saw." Adrien assured his father.
"Good. The world believes that vampires exist in movies and stories, not in real life. If they ever found out that you are one, they'll hunt you down" Father said.
"I know" Adrien replied.
He finished his dinner and levitated himself again, moving towards his father and flipped upside down. This was making his father annoyed.
"Father, I know you told me not to let my secret out of the bag, what if one person does trust me?" The dhampir boy asked.
"It's not very easy to keep a dhampir secret to a stranger. You've known Chloe and Nino for most of your life." His father said.
"They don't see anything monstrous about me. I'm half-human, father. Mom always says there's beauty within" Adrien said, crossing his arms.
"Yes. But I just hope they won't hunt you down. But who knows what this Ladybug thinks about you." His father replied.
"I'm sure she'll understand," Adrien said.
"And again, with the levitation?" Father was annoyed with this.
"It's my nature, father. I'm very batty. I can't turn into a bat but I enjoy being like one" Adrien snickered.
"You're lucky to turn into a cat than a bat. Your mother preferred a bird form." His father said.
"Everyone thinks kittens are adorable. Anyways, good night. My life is about to change soon" Adrien floats down to his feet and walks out of the dining room and upstairs to his bedroom.
"Marinette Dupain-Cheng. If only you knew what I really am" He sighed dreamily and floated towards his bed, "I can't wait to see you again"
