Today was the day. Marinette has decided to give the cat miraculous to the boy of her dreams. But she has to be careful not to let him notice it. But first, she must put it in his bag while no one is looking. She hopes she knows what she's doing because she only has one chance at this. She found him near the locker drinking a tomato juice can. Kinda strange for a boy who is either a vegetarian or simply in the mood for tomatoes.
"Um hi Adrien" She greeted him.
He saw her and quickly stopped drinking tomato juice, "Hey Marinette. You look happy today. Something exciting happened this morning?" He asked shyly.
"No, just wanna have a little chat," Marinette said.
"Uh, about what?" Adrien asked, controlling his vampire powers to not get the best of him.
"I was just wondering if we could go out, get to know each other" Marinette suggested.
"That would be nice. I never get to hang out with someone in the city" He almost felt excited to finally hang out with the girl he has a crush on.
"Great. Thank you!" Marinette hugged him.
The boy couldn't help but hug back, being careful not to crush her with his enhanced strength. He can smell macaroons from her which made him fall in love more.
"Well, what's next on the schedule?" He asked.
"Well….the Eiffel Tower after school?" She suggested.
"Good idea, Marinette" Adrien agreed.
Little did he suspect Marinette has slid the little box with the cat miraculous inside his bag while they hugged.
"But first let's go, finish class." He said.
"Agreed. All-day of school won't kill us" Marinette giggled.
"Yes. It won't" They walked to their classroom.

After class, they had lunch together and their best friends Alya and Nino seem to see them getting along perfectly. Chloe complained that Adrien pays more attention to Marinette than her.
"Seriously Adrien, you prefer her over me?!" The bleached hair brat complained.
"We're not dating Chloe, relax!" Adrien replied.
"You barely even know her!" Chloe yelled.
Adrien was feeling the urge to hypnotize Chloe to tell her to back off but he can't do that in front of Marinette. Looks like he'll have to talk to Chloe in private.
"Excuse me, Marinette. I'll be right back" Adrien winked at her and grabbed Chloe's wrist to drag her out of the cafeteria to find somewhere to talk alone.
"Chloe, don't push me into using hypnosis on you!" Adrien whisper-yelled at her.
"Oh, please. You know I'm too cute to be hypnotized by you, Adrikins" Chloe being sassy as always.
"That's a risk I'll get exposed as a dhampir" Adrien reminded her.
"Alright fine!" Chloe groans in defeat.
"And please let me make new friends for the moment. Marinette seems like a nice girl. I may have known you for a long time but you can't control my life, Chloe." Adrien said and went back to the cafeteria.
"Okay," Chloe huffs.
The dhampir went back to sit next to Marinette, "Sorry about her. She's just very controlling sometimes but I hope she learns to let me make my own choices in life" He apologized to her.
"It's ok Adrien" Marinette accepted his apology.
"Since you know about me, what about you? My friend Nino once told me that you love fashion design" Adrien said and ate his garden salad.
"Yeah, it's my hobby to fashion design, mostly dresses," Marinette said and showed up some pictures from her iPhone of her designs to Adrien.
"Wow, nice job." He said.
"Thanks. Inspirations always get me something in mind" Marinette smiled.
"Impressive. I may not know much about the outside world but I hope I get to know your world. My father is a bit….overprotective of me because of my mom that passed away years ago. He's afraid to lose me" Adrien explained and continued eating his salad.
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that Adrien" Marinette was shocked to hear his mother passed away.
"It's okay. I have my mother's looks and she was very pretty. My fans think I am gorgeous sometimes but I just wanna be true to myself" Adrien chuckled.
"Well, at least when they get to know you" Marinette smiled.
Adrien just smiled and they resume their lunch.

After school was over, they both decided to hang out in the city but Adrien was very new to this and he's never been around the city. He has been to places for photoshoots but he's never known much of these places.
"So ever been at the Eiffel tower's top?" Marinette asked him.
"Well, I've seen the tower closeup but never been up there myself," Adrien said.
"Me neither. It costs a ticket to get up there. But I like being close at the bottom level." Marinette said to him.
"Yeah, they say it's one of the famous historic landmarks," Adrien said, imagining if he can levitate himself to get up there but he can't do that, not in the open like this.
"Yeah, the view is magical" Marinette said.
"I believe you Marinette." Adrien looked up.
"So how about some ice cream?" Marinette then suggested.
"Okay," Adrien nodded.
They saw the man with the ice cream cart serving three scoops to make it look like a snowman to the couples.
"I'll pay for them, Adrien," Marinette said.
"Are you sure? I mean it's kind of you but…" Adrien tried to say but Marinette insisted.
"Come on, just today" She acted cute to him.
"Okay, Marinette" Adrien gave in.
"So you cute couple want the special?" The ice cream guy said.
"Um, we're not a couple" They blushed.
"Oh, sorry. Well, what do you two want?" He asked.
"I'll have the strawberry and you Adrien?" Marinette asked Adrien.
"Um, chocolate please?" Adrien said.
"Okay then" The Icecream guy handed them their ice cream cones with their flavors on.
"Thanks" Adrien thanked him while Marinette paid.
"You're welcome you two. Have a nice day." He waved goodbye to them.
They both took a seat at the bench chair and ate their ice cream. Adrien tasted it for the first time and it was delicious but also cold too.
"What is it? Too cold?" Marinette noticed.
"Yeah." He shuddered.
"You never tasted ice cream?" Marinette asked.
"I have but this is a new sort of it" He lied.
"Okay then" Marinette shrugs and they walked under the Eiffel tower.

After their hang out, they waved goodbye and head home. Adrien never felt so loved and different that it was like a new him has been unleashed. He walked home and was greeted by his father and his secretary.
"So how was your day?" His father asked.
"Been great. Been hanging out with a girl named Marinette" Adrien said.
"Ah, so that explains everything last night. You were love-struck" Father figured since he now sees his son floating around with his hands on his chest.
"Yeah but I'm not rushing it," He said while floating.
"Good, because your mother's vampire kind has rushed into a relationship without pace," Father said.
"This girl is so...irresistible, father. I can't hide it anymore but please don't make me not see her. My life is changing" Adrien floated towards father and did the puppy eyes at him.
"Not that again! No! Adrien!" His father tried to resist.
His dhampir son still kept doing it to look cute while making the sad whimpering puppy noise.
"Don't even try to look cute, son." His father still kept trying until it was too much for him.
"Alright! As you wish. But she must keep it secret at all cost if she finds out you're a dhampir. We had a serious discussion with Nino and Chloe about it" His father said.
Adrien floats down to have his feet on the floor, "Come on. If she finds out sooner or later, she'll think I'm like a superhero"
"She better keep it secret from the public though." His father said.
"Don't worry, father. When the time is right, she'll understand. We barely know each other but I can't help but feel like I found the girl of my life" Adrien sighs dreamily.
"Well then" His father shrugs as Adrien goes to his room.
