That morning, Adrien had a photoshoot at the park and he's been feeling distracted because he can't stop thinking about last night was so heroic of him to team up with Ladybug.
"Okay are you ready, Adrien?" Vincent prepares the camera.
"Yup. What poses am I gonna do today, Vincent?" He asked since he wants to try something different than before.
"Whatever comes to your mind, Adrien," Vincent said with a little Italian accent.
"Like this?" Adrien held his arms out as if embracing the beauty of Paris.
"Perfect! I love this" Vincent took a picture of him.
"Thank you" Adrien thanked him.
"Now try one of you holding a rose," Vincent said.
Adrien picked out a red rose from the park and held it like he's sniffing it while his photographer took a few pictures.
"Excellent!" Vincent gave him an Ok sign.
Just then a stray gray cat meowed near Adrien's ankles and he looked down at it in awe, "Hey little fella" He picked up the stray cat.
"Adrien, please no animals in the photoshoot" Vincent saw that but the dhampir model gave the cute puppy eyes, begging him to let the cat in the picture since he loves cats.
"Look at him. I think he likes to be in the photo. Puuurrrretty please" Adrien begged with his puppy eyes while the cat purred in his arms to look cute.
"Okay, this may show you're an animal lover" Vincent shrugs it off.
The model snickered that he won again with his cute puppy eyes trick, "Works every time" He said and got his picture taken, "Everyone loves cute animals, especially this cute little cat" He pets the stray cat and puts him down to let him go.
"Well lets see what your father thinks later," Vincent said.
Nearby Marinette was walking by and saw Adrien getting his picture taken. She sighs in love seeing him though he's a few feet away. Those gorgeous green eyes shining like emeralds in the daylight were something so mysterious of him.
"So handsome" She sighs in love.
After his photo shoot was over, he saw Marinette staring at him which made him have a chance to get to know her more. But something was up with her. It was like she looks frozen while smiling awkwardly at him. Maybe his beauty put her in a trance the same way it happens to all the fangirls.
"Hey there Marinette" He walks over to her.
"Oh hey, Adrien" Marinette snaps out of it.
Adrien may be immune to sunlight but he doesn't like daylight that much due to being in the house for too long, he puts the hoodie over his head.
"You okay? You look stressed. Is something wrong?" Marinette asked curiously as to why he's wearing a hoodie on this gorgeous day.
"I just never get out more often and the daylight is just too bright for me, that's all." Adrien nervously made up an excuse.
"Oh okay then. At least it's not like you got sensitive eyes" Marinette said.
"Mmhmm….. but my eyes are fine," Adrien said.
"I saw you like cats. My friend Nino once told us about that." Marinette said as they took a seat next to the tree that has a shade that is perfect for Adrien to be away from daylight.
"Yes, they are so irresistibly cute," He said.
Just like how handsome and charming he was as Cat Noir last night. Marinette knew he was the perfect person to be the cat holder of the miraculous. She made the right choice.
"It's funny you know, sometimes I think I'm like a cat hunting at night because they are nocturnal. That's what I like about cats. They are like sacred to Bastet and some animals can't even beat cats" Adrien explained why he likes cats.
"Yeah, they always land on their feet," Marinette said.
"Yeah, and they have nine lives too which I don't know if they really do. And speaking of cats, I heard the news this morning that Ladybug got herself a new partner last night. He's a cat" Adrien pretending to be amazed since he's a fan of Ladybug.
"A cat? Well, that's purrfect for her" Marinette pretended to not know.
"I wonder what Paris will think of him as the charming cat. The Lady blogger is so gonna be really excited to capture him on video" Adrien chuckled.
"We'll see, Adrien. I'm looking forward to it" Marinette said.
"I'll see you around, Marinette." He did a blow kiss and walked out of the park which made his crush swoon.

As Adrien made it home, he was greeted by his father and secretary that it's time to unleash his vampire side but Adrien always refuses to never harm or bite a victim's neck to drink blood. He doesn't want his half side to make him lose his mind and who knows if he'll go frenzy.
"It's time, my son. We captured a serial killer that kills vampires just like they killed your mother" His father insisted.
The dhampir model shook his head that he doesn't wanna do this. Sure his father has been very….serious and closed mind for too long ever since his wife died but Adrien doesn't wanna go with this. He doesn't want to bite a human's neck, even if they are good or bad.
"Father, no. There can be consequences. I don't wanna become like those monsters" Adrien said and can smell the victim in the kitchen.
"If he lives, he'll expose you," His father said.
"What if I hypnotize him?" Adrien tried to suggest.
"Hypnosis doesn't last, son. The last time you hypnotized Nino, it didn't last for an hour. Remember, vampires, are looking for an offspring that—" He tried to say but Adrien interrupted him.
"…that wants dhampir blood to become immune to sunlight. Yeah, I get it. But I'm not a killer, father. I have never done this and I don't want to kill." Adrien said and he has no idea what can happen if he did this. He may be half-vampire but he's not a pure one.
"This is important, Adrien. Yes, it's scary but who knows if something happens to you if they capture you. Or what if something happens to those you care about? You need to learn self-defense" His father reasoned with him.
Adrien nearly listened but could not help it that he can smell the victim's blood a mile away. He guessed that his father did something to lure him into feeding. He walks in and saw the serial killer tied up.
"Agh!" Adrien felt his canines extend due to his hunger for blood. He backs away but bumps into his father.
"I don't know about this. This is the first time I bite someone" Adrien was shaking a little.
"Vampire hunters killed your mother, Adrien. Do you want people like him to kill you next?" His father pressured him.
Adrien couldn't shrink his fangs back due to the smell of blood, he collapsed on the floor to resist, "No!" His stomach growled that he needs to feed. When he opened his eyes, his eyes were glowing red and he lunged at the serial killer's neck. He muffled screamed from the gag on his mouth and the dhampir held him still while sinking his teeth to drink blood without stopping until his victim is dead. Plagg that was hidden in his master's jacket looked away. He felt bad that this kid doesn't want to do this but his father made him. Once the man was dead, Adrien let go of him, he looked at his father in disgust.
He hissed in anger, "Never again, father." He walked out of the kitchen, not caring if they saw blood in his teeth and chin. He grabs a napkin and cleaned his face.
"God almighty. So this is what happens when you get too close to smelling blood?" Plagg came out of his hiding.
"Yes, but I'm too disgusted by this" Adrien got inside his room, shocked that he had just taken someone's life.
Even if that person is a serial killer, it's never right to have a good guy take away a bad guy's life to avenge.
"Is my father seriously that crazy?!" Adrien opens the windows.
He needed air since this was a nightmare to him. He can't get rid of it. Perhaps a little run on the rooftops to clear his head, "Plagg, claws out" He transformed to the cat-themed hero and jumped out of the window and onto the rooftops, running on all fours.
Just then, his sharp hearing heard Ladybug sounding like she's in distress. The dhampir in leather catsuit hurried to find her.
As he found her, he saw her fighting a monstrous creature that looks like a werewolf but he recognizes that scent.
"Nino?" He smelled his scent.
"Raaaaaagh!" The werewolf Nino snarled and was about to attack Ladybug but Cat Noir had no time to think but move her with his telekinesis towards himself.
"Whoa! What's happening?!" Ladybug was shocked when she was moved towards Cat Noir.
"I'll explain later," Cat Noir said and put her down beside him and saw something familiar on werewolf Nino. His headphones that he never removes. But instead of orange color, it's red like his cap.
"Ladybug, I think that's Nino! The headphones seem to be a source or something" Cat Noir pointed but got tackled by the monster trying to bite him but the kitty kicked him off.
"Let's find out! LUCKY CHARM!" Ladybug used her yo-yo to summon her lucky charm.
Out came a dog whistle and she caught it, "A dog whistle? Of course!" She knew what to do.
"It's not a good time to whistle around, milady! He's coming!" Cat Noir carried her in his arms to run from the werewolf chasing after them.
"Okay. I need a safe spot!" Ladybug saw Ninowolf chase them.
Cat Noir had no choice but to levitate himself along with her since they can't outrun this werewolf running on all fours, "Ladybug, do you trust me?!" He had to act quickly.
"I trust you!" Ladybug held on.
"Hang on!" He levitated up high just in time before Ninowolf clawed them.
"Are you a vampire?!" Ladybug asked.
"Close but no. Do your whistle thing. Whoa!" He dodged from Ninowolf jumping at them, "Like now!"
Ladybug took a deep breath and blew the whistle, causing great pain in Ninowolf's ears.
"Aaaarrrrrooooooooo!" He covered his ears but it was too torturing.
The dhampir feline levitated down and put his partner down so he can grab the headphones from the monster.
He ran at Ninowolf and grabbed the headphones, "CATACLYSM!"
Black particles appear around his right hand and he touched the headphones which spread into black coal, out came a shadowy black bat that was dark and evil.
Ladybug's yo-yo suddenly went magical but made a shrug and swing it like a lasso to catch it, "Time to de-evilize! Bye-bye little bat"
It turned into a normal microbat and flies away. They saw Ninowolf getting consumed by black particles that turned him back to a human, "Ow….Ladybug? And who are you, dude?" Nino saw a black feline man standing beside Ladybug.
"I'm Cat Noir, Paris's latest hero," Cat Noir said.
"He's new here and he's my partner" Ladybug added.
"Incredible. Ladybug and Cat Noir, the duo team!" Nino said.
Cat Noir held his fist out to Ladybug, she pounds it back, "Pound it!"
"Nino right? What really happened?" Ladybug asked.
"I don't know. I was frustrated with my headphones not working and then all of a sudden, this weird bat appeared out of nowhere and then blank. I don't remember how I ended up here" Nino explained what happened.
"That's strange. I'll take you back home, Nino. Cat Noir, I'll meet you at the Eiffel Tower. There's something we need to talk about" Ladybug carried Nino and swung her yo-yo.

Later that night, Cat Noir was at the Eiffel Tower hanging upside like a bat, waiting for Ladybug to show up. That's until a yo-yo swish was heard and she landed in front of him.
The feline sighed that she noticed he's upside down from the metal bars of the tower. He can see the anxiety on her face.
"Okay, ready to hear?" He asked and jumped down from the bats and gripped the rails while standing beside her, "I'm not a vampire. I'm a dhampir. My father is a human and my mother is a vampire. My mother was killed by a vampire hunter when I was 7 years old and my father never let me out because he didn't want to lose me. I spent years in the dark and he hated bad guys that took my mother's life away. He did all he could to protect me and teach me not to trust anyone but I never listened to him." He explained his story while Ladybug listened, "When you came along, you kept me sane and I hope to one day meet you in person but it never happened until now. You can ask me about my vampire powers if you want. Don't worry, my diet is both human food and blood."
"Okay. That figures how you used telekinesis to move me" Ladybug said.
"Yup. And levitation to sometimes fly but it's a work in progress. Hypnosis I can do but I don't always do that. Hyperspeed makes me see time and space go really slow when I'm fast. There are a few things I can do and my favorite is turning into a regular cat, not a bat. Wanna see?" He asked her and she nodded.
He morphed into a real black cat and purred on Ladybug's ankle.
"Aw, so cute" Ladybug picks him up.
"And I can still talk. Meow" Kitty Noir purred.
"Cool. Well, maybe that's a coincidence you got the cat miraculous" Ladybug pets him on her lap.
"Wait. It was you that gave it to me? You know who I am?" Kitty Noir asked as he looked up at her.
"Yes, I too got mine the same way," Ladybug said.
"But aren't you scared of what I am? My father tells me that humans fear monsters. Yes, I got fangs but I always hide them easily" Kitty Noir got off of her lap and morphed back to human.
"No, I've seen how you are as a person, well mostly now as a hero," Ladybug said.
"Thanks. I wish I can tell to the lovely lady at school. She doesn't know I'm a dhampir and I'm afraid she'll think I bite her neck" Cat Noir said which made Ladybug blush to who he's talking about.
"Well better not go Dracula on her" Ladybug smiles nervously.
"And I hope my father doesn't kill me for letting the secret out of the bag" Cat Noir chuckled.
"It's between you and me then. But if this girl you're talking about finds out, be careful" Ladybug said.
"I will but I'm just too nervous, milady. Maybe when I'm ready, I will" Cat Noir said.
