Marinette couldn't help but feel so in love with the boy that's like from the Twilight saga. A vampire and human romance but instead, this is a dhampir. A half-vampire and half-human that is both in one. Last night what Cat Noir said is that the girl he's talking about is actually herself that makes him feel more human. But he has no idea that she knows as a civilian that he's a dhampir. She wants him to tell her the truth first, not the other way around.
"This is gonna be complicated, if he finds out I'm Ladybug I hope he won't get furious," Marinette thought.
What she learned is that he likes to be charming and flirty towards Ladybug as Cat Noir while as Adrien he feels love at first sight for Marinette. Her thoughts were interrupted by the bell that class is over and Adrien was on his way downstairs to the locker room.
Adrien was talking to Nino that he is not sure whether he should tell Marinette what he is but he's afraid that she'll not like him.
"Come on, Adrien. It will be fine." Nino said.
"But what if she gets scared?" Adrien was not sure.
"Relax, I'll be with you," Nino said.
"I'm gonna become a scaredy-cat if this goes wrong" Adrien went high pitch.
"Really Adrien? You wouldn't" Nino replied.
"Um, hey guys" Marinette greets them.
"Oh, um, hi Marinette" Adrien stood there frozen.
"Am I bothering you two?" She asked.
"Not at all" Adrien blushed hard at the sight of her.
"Okay. I was gonna ask you something but lost track of it" Marinette said.
"Is it another walk in the city again?" Adrien guessed.
"Well….probably but I'm not so sure" Marinette was lost in thought of that.
"Um, well…there's actually I need to talk to you about" Adrien gulped hard and nervously.
"About what?" Marinette asked.
"In private please," Adrien said.
"Okay" Marinette knew what he's going to talk about so she pretended to not know.
Adrien looked back at Nino and did a gesture of pointing his eyes and at Nino, then did a swirling sign that if something goes wrong, he'll hypnotize Nino. Nino nods in agreement as Adrien brings Marinette to the boiling room.
As soon as they are alone without anyone to disturb them, Adrien took a deep breath and tries his best not to be scared or try to scare Marinette for what he is.
"Marinette, do you believe in supernatural like vampires and werewolves?" Adrien asked bravely.
"Never seen any but I believe in them," Marinette said.
"Everyone thinks they're not real but in fiction and movies. Or that legends and myths can be wrong from time to time when it hides the real truth. Marinette...this is gonna be a bit of a shock but do you know why I have sharp reflexes the times I saved you from your falls the other day?" Adrien asked.
Marinette knows why but she plays it along so he doesn't think she found out.
"No, how?" She asked.
"The truth is that...I'm a dhampir" He revealed his fangs.
Marinette pretends to be shocked at his teeth but when she thought Adrien would be scared to think she's afraid of him, he was wrong. She pretends to think it's either plastic teeth for Halloween by touching it and what shocked her is that it's not plastic or anything else but real teeth from a dhampir model teen.
"Whoa, you're telling the truth. That explains why you don't like the daylight. I can't believe it feels real and sharp." Marinette asked.
Adrien was expecting a scared reaction from her but he was amazed at how brave she is and not a single scream coming from her mouth, "You're not scared of me?"
"How could I when I know you're a gentle guy?" Marinette said.
"That's true. Let's say that you make me feel more human. My father thinks humans fear monsters" Adrien explained.
"Really?" Marinette asked.
"Yes. Only he, his secretary, my bodyguard, Nino, and well even Chloe knows" Adrien said.
"What? That Chloe? The Mayor's daughter?!" Marinette gasps.
"I know, I know. Yes, she can be bratty at times but she was the only friend I had as a kid as well as Nino. They were the only human friends I had" Adrien explained.
"But I'll promise I won't tell anyone" Marinette held her hand up.
"Good, now let's get out before anyone's suspicious," Adrien said.
"Wait, I didn't see if you have powers. What are they exactly?" Marinette asked.
"Superspeed, shapeshift, flight, hypnosis, enhanced strength, and so forth" Adrien named a few.
"I can't wait to see them after school at my place in my room. And no, I'm not scared if you bit my neck" Marinette being very honest.
"I would be scared if I accidentally broke your vein in your neck," Adrien said.
"Then it's off to the hospital," Marinette said.
"My fangs will behave." Adrien teased and they came out out of the boiler room only to be stopped by Nino and Alya with a smug look.
"Don't even think about it, you guys. We just talked, that's all" Marinette said.
"A talk was it?" Alya replied grinning
Adrien had his mouth closed so that Alya doesn't see his sharp canines, "Mmhmm" He mumbled nervously.
"Yeah, just a friendly talk" Marinette replied with an awkward smile.
She quickly grabbed Adrien's hand and walked out of the school so she can let Adrien get some air before he nearly opened his mouth.
"That was close," Adrien said and concentrated to shrink his canines to normal human length.
"Wow, I can't believe I met a real dhampir" Marinette pretends to be excited.
"And I can't believe that you're not scared of me" Adrien smirked.
"Yeah, because I now know you as a person," Marinette said.
"Yeah. Anyways, I'll meet you at the balcony tonight. After all, I am a little sneaky and that nighttime is my thing. I can see in the dark. See ya" Adrien grinned and went into hyperspeed which made Marinette unable to see him in the blink of an eye when he dashed off.

Later at her apartment, Marinette waited for Adrien. She swooned at the poster of him again. It's no wonder that his eyes glow like emeralds, probably due to his nocturnal ability to see at night.
"He is quite charming as himself and as Cat Noir," Tikki said.
"Yeah, he sure is," Marinette said.
She then heard meowing from her the roof of her balcony. She opened the trapdoor and climbed up to see a black cat with glowing green eyes. She knows it's him but she pretends she doesn't.
"Aww….a cat. What are you doing here?" She asked and she knew that he's gonna talk.
"It's me" Cat Adrien spoke.
"Aw, you're so cute!" Marinette picks him in her arms.
"I was hoping for a reaction but you're really good at not getting spooked" Cat Adrien purred in her arms.
"Who can't resist cute cats?" Marinette pets him.
"Or who can't resist a talking cat with a cute voice?" Cat Adrien laughed between his purrs.
"No one," Marinette said.
"Meow. And no, I can't turn into a bat. I wish I did but I can only turn into an adorable cute little cat" Cat Adrien said and Marinette brought him inside and put him on her loft bed.
"Is that the only animal you'll turn into?" She asked.
He morphed back to a person and lied down next to her, "Yup. I like cats and I bet that's my animal spirit."
"Yeah. It appears so. What's a coincidence that at the same time, Ladybug got a cat partner" Marinette said.
"I heard. I bet he will be very charming to Ladybug." He pretends to be surprised.
"Perhaps. Care to show me what this amazing dhampir model boy can really do?" Marinette giggled when she asked that.
"Very well. Just don't get spooked." He held his hand out to concentrate on his telekinesis on Marinette and moved her slowly off the bed and onto the floor below.
"Whoa! Incredible!" Marinette gasps.
"And I can fly but it's also levitation" He levitates himself and floats down to the floor next to her.
"Cool. You do hypnosis, right?" She asked.
"Yes, but I don't use it that often. Trust me, my hypnosis on a victim is temporary" Adrien explained clearly.
"Good, I thought you would use that on me" Marinette chuckled.
"Not unless you have nightmares, I can make them go away by hypnotizing you." Adrien teased her.
"Really Adrien?" Marinette replied.
"What? Sometimes it helps. Especially when Chloe wants me to hypnotize her from her bad days. It's a nightmare to me" Adrien levitated himself and flipped upside down while talking to his crush.
"Aren't you worried that you'll get a headache when you do that?" Marinette asked.
"Not one bit," Adrien said.
"Are you being honest, kitty boy?" Marinette smirked at him.
"I'm a half-vampire and I've done this my whole undead life," Adrien said but Marinette put her hand on his chest to feel if he has a pulse. She doesn't believe he's undead.
"Well, you got a pulse," She said.
"Yeah, so?" Adrien didn't get her.
"You are not undead, vampire boy. You don't have an undead life" Marinette giggled.
"When I say undead it means I'm immortal," Adrien said.
"But you can still be killed by stakes and holy water?" Marinette guessed.
"Stakes, yes. Holy water, no. The only vampire weakness I have is….well….garlic." He blushed and decided to explain the truth, "Let's say I'm not lactose intolerant but garlic intolerance. I can't eat anything that's made of garlic"
"Alright then" Marinette understood.
"What? You don't believe me?" Adrien pretends to snore while still upside down with his arms crossed to his chest.
"I do believe in you, Adrien" Marinette replied.
"I feel better" Adrien dramatically puts his hands on his heart.
"Aww, Adrien" Marinette couldn't help but giggle.
"Anyways, I gotta get back to my coffin, my lady." Adrien levitated down and kissed Marinette's back palm of her hand.
"Well see you tomorrow Adrien" Marinette blushed.
