That afternoon, Adrien's father captured another vampire sneaking in with a cloak to hide from sunlight. Ow Adrien has to learn how to fight a vampire in case if they try a way to capture him at night.
In the training room where the vampire is kept with the dhampir teen who is not afraid nor shows hesitation. Adrien removed his white sleeveless jacket and tossed it aside, ready to fight like a vampire instead of a man this time.
"Young blood! You're a dhampir!" The vampire said with a maniac tone.
"Yeah, I am. And I'm starving!" Adrien hissed with his mouth open to reveal his fangs.
"Your blood will surely make me immune to daylight!" The vampire tried to grab him but the dhampir teen grabbed his fist and flipped him over, locking the vampire's head with his legs and pinning his arm. But that was a wrong move when the vampire bit Adrien's leg through his jeans.
"Agh!" He screamed and punched the vampire's face to get him off and rolled to the side, kip himself back, and then circled.
Soon they threw punches at each other even when they walked on the wall. Adrien soon punched him off and followed with a cartwheel kick to the face. The vampire then punched him to the floor but was countered with Adrien kicking him with both feet to the wall. Adrien leaped up and grabbed the vampire by the throat after deflecting another punch.
"My blood is not for sale, moron. Don't even try" Adrien glared that his opponent is trying to get his teeth close to his neck.
"We'll see!" The vampire struggled.
"You'll see yourself a new home in Hell!" Adrien pushed him down from the wall and pinned his opponent on the floor, punched him in the gut to immobilize him, and picked him up, pinning him roughly against the wall.
"That was for biting my leg!" Adrien sank his fangs in the vampire's neck, making him tilt his neck so he does try to bite his neck this close. The bite on his leg healed due to drinking blood and left no scars. Once finished, Adrien stood up victorious.
He let out a belch due to how much blood he drank and killed the vampire, "Burn it, father" He said and left the training room and heads outside to get some fresh air.
He quickly heads into the alley to get away from the paparazzi and morphed into a cat to blend in so no one can recognize him. Even if there are cat lovers, he has to pretend he's a wild street cat.
"First time as a wild kitty in the city, vampire boy? What are you gonna do, hunt mice for real?" Plagg said.
"No, I'm just clearing my mind. I can't keep draining blood from vampires just because I'm the only dhampir on earth who is the 'cure' to sunlight immunity" Cat Adrien said and then heard street dogs barking from the distance.
"I'm afraid you have to learn quick survival! Dogs chase cats!" Plagg said and hid in the walls.
"This cat is no scaredy-cat" Cat Adrien smirked and saw the street dogs sniffing after him, "Time for a hypnosis stare competition" Cat Adrien chuckled and stood still.
The dogs arrived at the scene and Cat Adrien used his hypnotic stare at them. The dogs froze as they directly stared, waiting for a command. Cat Adrien chuckled that his hypnosis really does work on animals than just humans.
"I command you to sit down," Cat Adrien said and the dogs sat down as commanded, "Good, now rollover"
The dogs rolled over back and forth while their master just laughed. Cat Adrien morphed back to human since he needs to snap his fingers to release them. They looked confused and they saw him standing there out of nowhere in the blink of an eye. They simply walked away, not very interested in him to do anything.
"Just too easy" Adrien smirked and morphed into a cat again and went to look for Nino's place to talk to him.
He climbs up to his window and taps with the paw, "Dude is that you?" Nino saw him.
The kitty nodded and his best pal opened the window and he jumped down, "What's up Adrien?" Nino asked.
"Just came to see how my best pal is doing. And…..I heard that Alya interviewed with Ladybug and the new superhero this morning" Cat Adrien said and morphed back to a person.
"Yeah Cat Noir. He's such a funny guy" Nino said
"It seems I got another boy who likes kitty cats. I hope he's not like a cat burglar because of that leather catsuit" Adrien pretending he doesn't know his alter ego.
"Like Catwoman? No, I don't think so. He's Ladybug's partner" Nino said.
"Then he's a Prince Charming to his lady partner. Becoming a fan of him yet?" Adrien asked.
"Well yeah. They stopped some creatures, one being Juleka as a werecat" Nino said.
"Very ironic because Juleka hates cats like you told me," Adrien said, levitating himself since he felt like it, lying down in a position like a ghost.
"Yeah. The question is how she became like that?" Nino wondered.
"I have no idea. By the way, how did you end up howling at the moon the other night?" Adrien asked about how his friend got turned into a werewolf which he already knows but is pretending not to know.
"I was frustrated that my headphones weren't working and this strange shadowy bat came out of nowhere and then, all blank. I don't remember anything" Nino explained.
"Are you sure you don't remember anything?" Adrien floated towards him, pretending he doesn't know but to test him since Nino was the first victim to get kuraised.
"I don't even remember a thing when it was over," Nino said.
"With your permission, may I hypnotize you? I swear, I won't do anything foolish this time. I just wanna hear the truth, that's all. Trust me, Nino" He levitated down.
"Okay" Nino sat down to let Adrien do his work.
"Now look directly in my eyes once they glow. Just relax and don't hesitate" Adrien instructed and his eyes glowed to hypnotize his best pal and he froze without blinking, "Nino, tell me everything you remember the other night when you got turned into a monster. Do you or you don't remember? Be honest with me" He commanded.
"I just remember the bat started to chase me after seeing how frustrated I was and attached to my headphones. Then there was this creepy voice in my head before it went blank" Nino explained in a monotone.
"Did you hear a name?" I asked.
"He said Dark Lord but he didn't say his real true name," Nino said.
Adrien thought for a minute that this bat-themed supervillain is definitely a vampire, not a human. Whatever reason, it's like this vampire is trying to find a dhampir.
Adrien snapped his fingers to return his friend to normal, "Thanks, Nino. See? I didn't do anything foolish this time"
"Good, I trust you," Nino said.
The dhampir teen morphed into a cat and jumps up to the open window, "Anyways, I got mice to hunt. See you around, Nino"

Later, as Cat Noir, he explained everything to Ladybug that he got by hypnotizing Nino and also believing that this supervillain is not a human but a vampire.
"A vampire you say? This is no good" Ladybug said.
"Definitely not good. I wish I can hypnotize these monster victims to get info but it doesn't work. I tried it on Julekat but it didn't work. It's not gonna be easy to find…..Dark Lord" Cat Noir said, drinking tomato juice from a can.
"We'll have to work together to find him, even if he'll get me," Ladybug said.
"I'm a half-vampire, milady. Pure ones are very fast. Just like I'm fast too. One thing we know is that they don't walk in sunlight. It's not gonna be easy to recognize one when they look like a human at night" Cat Noir said and dropped the empty can to the recycling bin.
"I know. But I know their weaknesses" Ladybug said.
"They burn in ultraviolet light? Allergic to garlic? No reflection in mirrors? They're weak against the holy cross? Yeah, I know what they are because I've known my mother as a kid." Cat Noir said.
"Hmmm….that gives me an idea. Wearing a holy cross can help us see who is human and who is not. The holy cross doesn't scare you, right?" Ladybug asked.
"No, and it does nothing to me because I'm half-human," Cat Noir said.
"Perfect" Ladybug said, Cat Noir hands her a holy cross necklace.
"Thanks, Kitty" Ladybug said.
"Keep it close to you, milady. It should protect you from getting bitten by them. The sun is setting now. Please be safe. I'll see you later. Right now I need to see my lovely princess" Cat Noir kissed Ladybug's cheek and pole vaulted away.
"Alright." Ladybug hurried home.
She made it in time and detransformed before Cat Noir arrived again.
"Hey princess," He said and detransformed to Adrien.
"Hey, vampire boy. I see you're in a happy mood tonight. Feeling the freedom to travel the city all day or something?" Marinette scratched his chin.
"I do Marinette. Just you and me for sightseeing" Adrien said.
"Aw Adrien, that would be so sweet!" Marinette hugged him.
He hugged her back, "It's so lonely without my princess"
"No problem," Marinette said.
"Heh, this definitely feels like a Twilight saga. Hold on tight, mon cherie" He picked her up in bridal style and he jumped from one roof to another.
Marinette held on tight while he jumped. He then ran on the walls of Notre Dame and onto the roof since it's much safer for his princess to be safe from vampires coming out.
"Thank you, Adrien" Marinette got off his arms.
"You're welcome, princess," Adrien said and they looked over the view.
"Your eyes are just so gorgeous when they glow at night," Marinette said.
"Thanks, Marinette. Your eyes are just as pretty even if they don't glow" Adrien said.
