Nino was talking to his dhampir pal in his bedroom this morning but Adrien became very stressed that he's been pacing back and forth with his levitation. It was driving the DJ boy crazy all morning.
"This is very serious, Nino. These hunters and vampires don't quit! It's like they are understanding modern technology." Adrien said.
"And their leader is Bram Stocker you said? Dracula's author? Impossible" Nino was astonished.
"Maybe some histories hide the real side of the story so no one can uncover the truth" Adrien guessed.
"Dude, you need to calm down" Nino grabbed Adrien's ankle and pulled him down.
"I am, it's just I'm worried they might go after all I know," Adrien said.
"Bro, when was the last time you have ever done something like a superhero?" Nino asked.
"Me? A superhero? Give me a break. Cat Noir and Ladybug are the real superheroes" Adrien said.
"You fly, levitate, hypnotize, and all sorts of things. Doesn't that count as being a superhero? And of course, you blush like a human every time you see Marinette" Nino teased him which made the dhampir float and lean against the wall.
"Then I'm Captain Dhampir" Adrien joked.
"Still not funny" Nino pulled him down from his levitation again, "You are very stressed."
"I'm not stressed" Adrien lied.
"You are." Nino said and he made Adrien open his mouth to see that his fangs are extended out, "I know you're lying. Your teeth tell the truth"
"Fine, you got me. Some vampire almost got to Marinette's apartment last night" Adrien admits.
"Oh no. You really are right. They are targeting those close to you too. Like how they made me and Juleka to monsters" Nino gasps.
"Well….I did make one of the vampires tell me who is the Dark Lord's real name and they said Bram Stoker." Adrien said nervously.
"That yes. But we need to keep our friends safe" Nino said.
"I'm more worried for Marinette. She's my priority to protect her" Adrien said.
"Every guy has their special lady. Like I have Alya" Nino said.
"Yeah. I'm just worried Marinette might end up as a slave for the vampires" Adrien said.
"Bro, you told me she knows your secret and is not afraid of your teeth, you would definitely get infected by her Aphrodite's love spell. Why not make her become like you?" Nino asked.
"Nino, only undead vampires can, and technically I'm not undead. I have a pulse, a heartbeat, and a soul, vampires don't. I prefer that Marinette remains human and I'm not letting a vampire take away her beautiful soul if she got bitten" Adrien said with a little growl.
"You really love her, don't you?" Nino can see the blush on the dhampir's cheeks.
"Yes, I do" Adrien admits.
"You can do better than that, lover boy" Nino made a smug look.
"What?!" Adrien levitated away from his pal.
"Come on, tell me what you feel about her. Don't even try to lie. I know you" Nino said with a smirk.
Adrien sighs in defeat, "You're really gonna torment my soul, are you?"
"I'm your friend I need to know," Nino said.
"She makes my heart beat like crazy and I feel more human when she's around," Adrien said.
"Was that so hard to open your big mouth?" Nino snickered.
"Yes," Adrien pouts.
"I thought so" Nino smirked.

With Marinette, she was on a walk in the city on her own, "I hope no vampire is out in the daylight" She looked at each alley.
To her relief there was no vampire hiding, she passed the valley, then looked at a poster of Adrien.
"Oh, Adrien. If only you were as gorgeous as the real you" She swooned but she spoke too soon when a familiar black cat-themed person showed up out of nowhere and startled her.
"Meow, I never realized you think he's gorgeous" He purred.
"Oh hey Cat Noir" Marinette chuckled.
"What's a lovely little lady doing out here by herself?" He pretends he doesn't know her and kissed the back palm of her hand.
"Just admiring our lovely city. Well, Paris is the city of love" Marinette said.
"Meow, Paris makes me the prince char-meow-ing and my Ladybug my lovely lady. We are king and queen of Paris, mademoiselle" He winked.
"Well, your highness, have you been hunting mice, fish, or birds all morning?" Marinette teased him.
"I really wish so. Mice well are not so satisfying" Cat Noir said.
"Not unless you find the perfect prey to catch in your paws, kitty cat" Marinette giggled and scratched his chin.
"You're too kind" Cat Noir chuckled.
"See you later, Cat Noir. I gotta find my real black cat" She winked, gesturing him to turn into an actual real cat to find her.
"Okay dear citizen" He ran into an alley to morph into a cat to emerge from another alley.
"Awww there you are" Marinette pretends she found her lost cat.
Kitty Noir rubbed his side on her ankles and meowed, wanting to be picked up by her, "Come here Kitty" Marinette picks him up and pets him, making him purr.

Later, she was in her bedroom having a bowl of warm milk like an adorable cat he is.
"Good boy" She pets him.
He purred in happiness and jumped up in her arms, wanting to be petted more, "Pet me" He meowed.
"Ok, kitty kitty" She pets him gently.
"You're such a sweet girl, Marinette" Kitty Noir said.
"And you are such the cutest kitty I ever met" She kissed the top of his head.
"Thank you, milady" Kitty Noir said.
He then suddenly heard something going on in the city. Sounds like the city has another monster on the loose again but the heroes don't know what it is.
"What is it?" Marinette asked.
"Trouble going on. Let's go!" Kitty Noir morphed into the human form of Cat Noir.
"Tikki Spots on!" Marinette transformed into Ladybug.
They both head up to the trapdoor of the roof and jump to the next roof to the next to find what monster it is this time. Ladybug was very impressed with having a partner who can hear things a mile away.
"Where to go?" Ladybug asked.
"Over there!" He followed the scent and it lead him to a monster that is much scarier and hideous. It was very skinny, tall, and it had a skull of a deer with antlers.
"Whoa! What is that?! A chupacabra?!" Ladybug screamed at the sight of it.
Cat Noir covered her mouth and both hid in the alley, "Shh! That's a wendigo"
She moved his hand off her mouth, "A what?" Ladybug did not understand.
"Wendigo is known to invoke feelings of insatiable greed or hunger, the desire to cannibalize other humans. According to Algonquin legends, the wendigo haunts the northern forests of the United States and Canada, always looking for people to eat. Meaning their diet is humans" Cat Noir explained.
"Well we must stop it at any cost," Ladybug said.
"Before it eats the people, literally" Cat Noir said.
"Yes, let's go!" Ladybug ran with Cat Noir to engage the wendigo.
The wendigo was chasing some citizens for food, "RAAAAAAAAAGH!"
"Sorry, but humans are not on the menu!" Cat Noir kicks it in the face.
"RAAAAAH!" The Wendigo snarled and swats Cat Noir aside. But for a cat, he landed on his feet.
"Don't let him be on top of the food chain, kitty" Ladybug said.
"Got it. Do that lucky charm thing" Cat Noir said.
He dodged the monster trying to bite his face. Cat Noir whacked him in the face with his baton but it didn't make the wendigo black out, it became angry.
"Bad idea!" He runs from it to lure it away from the people.
"Lucky charm!" Ladybug used her charm and out came a flamethrower and Ladybug dodged it, "A flamethrower? Hmmm," She looks at it then at the wendigo.
"Skin is too thick but fire can burn it. But will my miraculous ladybugs heal the victim?" She asked herself. Then she ran. to where Cat Noir and the Wendigo were fighting.
"Back off! I'm a cat!" Cat Noir couldn't scratch him because the skin is too thick
"Heads up!" Ladybug came and fires at the wendigo.
"Whoa!" Cat Noir ran on all fours to avoid getting burned.
"RAAAAAAARGH!" The Wendigo got burnt. It lashed aggressively to put the fire out but it made it worse. It ran to the river canal instead.
"Hurry!" Ladybug ran with Cat Noir to stop it but too late, it jumped into the waters.
"I got him!" The feline held out his hand to concentrate on grabbing the monster out of the water with his telekinesis, "Argh! He's very strong!" He strained and moved the wendigo out of the water while it's aggressively lashing like a wild animal.
"The headband! I can't get near! Cat Noir, move the headband!" Ladybug said.
"Okay" Cat Noir focused on the headband.
The wendigo struggled but the headband came off, "GOTCHA!" Ladybug caught it and smashed it on the ground, releasing the kurai bat, "Time to de-evilize!" She caught with her yoyo to purify it, "Bye-bye little bat. Miraculous Ladybug!" She threw the flamethrower after purifying the bat to repair the damage and heal the burn marks on the wendigo.
The victim monster transformed back to an unknown citizen.
"Pound it" Ladybug and Cat Noir fist-bumped.
