Author's Notes: Wow my first femslash…Anyway, this is a random little drabble that popped into my mind while watching a rerun of CI, F.P.S. the episode where Eames gives birth.
Bishop stroked Alex's thigh as the slumbering woman sighed in her sleep. She licked the taste of Alex from her lips, musky with the slight tang of breast milk not yet dried. Bishop watched her as she slept, slightly curled, one arm tucked beneath her head. She filled the observation, tucking it into the structure of thoughts she had come to think of as Alex II.
She had observed Alex for weeks, picking every detail of her manner, her personality, of her.
But abstract observation did not tell her enough, she needed a tactile experience.
So she seduced Alex.
She absorbed Alex as her tongue invaded her mouth, her centre. But it still wasn't enough.
Bishop smiled sadly as she injected the sodium pentothal into Alex's arm.
She sang softly as she rolled Alex's body from the bed and balled up the sheets, packing them into garbage bags.
She was still singing as she moved around the apartment, wiping her fingerprints from the carefully remembered places.
Her voice had fallen to a hum as she manoeuvred Alex into the shower and washed all trace of herself away.
She bent down beside the body as she laid it out on the floor.
"Sorry Alex, but no matter how much I become like you I'll never replace you, unless you're not there." She smiled gently as she lowered Alex's head to the floor. "But he'll rely on me now, I'll be his other half, sorry Alex but Bobby needed you to much."
