Merlin meets a Girl in Camelot, Mary. She helps Gaius with all his patients and has a sad past. Soon his destiny will be linked to hers. I wrote this story for my teenagers. They were sad that Merlin didn't get a girl. I wrote a few Sub-Ep‘s and created an additional character. (I don‘t own Merlin)

Fear of being found drives Merlin out of the last village and back onto the road. While moving through the forest, the young warlock runs across a man in need of help. Merlin doesn't realize this man is the prince of a kingdom who would have him put to death until after he's saved his life. Different first meeting AU.

Merlin arrives in Camelot and is given his duties by Gaius. He finds two knights sparring and is surprised to discover that one of them is the Princess Artoria. By the end of the day, Merlin becomes her servant. It's up to him to give Artoria the confidence to use her skills, taught to her by her uncle Tristan, to defend herself and fight for what she believes (Genderbend Arthur)
