Ginny's dead. Harry is alive. Harry can't die because he's needed. Ginny can and did. This is his song.

A brief one shot on when Ginny died. Inside Harry slowly dies but no one sees it. Originally for my Power story but I changed it.

I've fought so long to keep from going under

Yet my life has been torn from me asunder

I cry for my love, for her I weep

Yet no memories or her can I keep

A far cry from what I used to be

Now I am never truly free

My heart is raw, my cheeks are sore

I hide behind a closing door

Pain is my only friend

Now I've come to the bitter end

My life is done, my soul is black

Now there is no going back

My heart bleeds for one so dead

Her face is always in my head

I cannot hide from her forever

Yet she is my only tether

I break inside, my mind it shatters

The world against my mind it batters

I die inside but no one can see

The pain inside of me

When my love did die

Inside so did I

But it wasn't my time and it wasn't my place

So now I am waiting and inside I bear her face
