The Love Note

Sakura gets a strange love note and waits for her secret lover. A very short story I whipped up in about a minute and a half.

Sakura looked up at the dark midnight sky and the bright moon. Who sent that secret love note and spelled 'meet' wrong? Sakura looked at her watch. 12:09. The note said he'd be there at 12:10. Only 24 seconds left. Sakura expected him to be just a few seconds early.

"Sakura!" A male's voice cried as soon as the her watch struck 12:10.

"Sauske-Kun?" Sakura cried with a grin, turning around, but seeing Naruto.

"Oh. It's you." She said. "Go away, Naruto. I'm waiting for the boy who wrote me this love note." She said, holding it up.

"Wha?" Naruto asked. "Sakura-Chan, I sent you that note!" Sakura's mouth dropped open so low, she could have sworn it hit the ground.

"NARUTO!" She screamed.

"What?" Naruto asked. Sakura angrily bonked him on the head.

"YOUCH!" Naruto moaned.
