Chapter 6 Begin the Journey
"Okay, so let's see what we have to do here..." Ash says as he looks at the Pokedex, "We have captured a male Bidoof, let's try to capture a second Bidoof that is female and bigger than the others."
"Well, we are in Aspiration Hill, if we search enough, we might be able to find it without any problem." Serena says as they split up and search for it.

"I guess that's enough for the Bidoof, let's try to go next...which is Starly." Serena says.
"Starly, huh..." Ash says, but much to their surprise, they see a Staraptor flying down from the sky as he lands in front of Ash. "A Staraptor?"
The Staraptor tackles Ash as it is showing affection, Serena says, "Wait, didn't your mother say that some of your Pokemon also travel back to the past to find you? Does that mean this Staraptor..."
"Is that true, Staraptor?" Ash asks the Pokemon, who nods back. "Welcome back to the team Staraptor. With your help, it will be much easier to find Pokemon easily."
And much to their surprise, the Arc Phone glows and Staraptors Poke Ball appears in Ash's hands, only that it looks like the ancient Poke Ball like they are holding right now. After recalling the Pokemon, he says, "If that's the case, that means Pikachu might be somewhere close by as well. I can't wait to see him again!"
"Me too. But we should finish the Starly quest first." Serena says.

"And then we have Shinx." Serena says.
"This is harder, since we have to defeat it with a Ground Type attack. Staraptor, can you do any Ground moves?"
Staraptor shakes his head as he can't, and Serena sighs, "I think we can only try to go back and redo it..."
Ash frowns as he goes to capture a male Shinx since they already have a female one.

"Now we have those three done, I think we should also write about the Pokedex Entry, right?" Serena asks.
"Sure, it is a good thing we have the Arc Phone." Ash says.
Hisui Dex Entry No.10: Bidoof: The Plump Mouse Pokemon: Normal-type. Bidoof has an unsophisticated face and is rarely flustered by anything. There have been incidents involving Bidoof sauntering into villages and gnawing on the houses without a single care.
Hisui Dex Entry No.12: Starly: The Starling Pokemon: Normal- and Flying-type. They live in the fields and mountains, gathering in large flocks. Their cries are quite obnoxious. Though small, their wings are strong—a strike from them leaves pain that persists for a week.
Hisui Dex Entry No.15: Shinx: The Flash Pokemon: Electric-type. Shakes its body to generate electricity. Its stature belies its aggression—one must be patient to tame this Pokémon.
Ash says, "Now that I've thought about it, we should also do Rowlet and Oshawott's dex as well."
"You're right." Serena says, "Let's see...Rowlet can use Leafage, Roost, and Aerial Ace, right?"
Ash says, "He can, so we need to record all three moves..."
"But there is something...using strong style move and agile style move...I wonder what does that mean?" Serena asks.
"I don't know. But let's get Rowlet done first." Ash says.

Hisui Dex Entry No.1: Rowlet: The Grass Owl Pokemon: Grass- and Flying-type. Flies noiselessly on delicate wings. It has mastered the art of deftly launching dagger-sharp feathers from those same wings.

Hisui Dex Entry No.7 Oshawott: The Sea Otter Pokemon: Water-type. This Pokémon from the Unova region uses the shell on its belly as a weapon to cut down its foes. Thus, I've conferred upon this shell the name "scalchop."
"Well, now that's done...all we need is to evolve all of them and capture some more." Ash says.
"Agreed." Serena says as they walk to the Horseshoe Plains. They see the Pokemon that they are asked to capture: Wurmple.
"A Wurmple...let's see...we have to capture some lighter specimens, and cathing it without being spotted." Serena says.
"There is a lighter one. But I think we should capture some more considering we are going to give one away to the guard." Ash says.

Hisui Dex Entry No.18 Wurmple: The Worm Pokemon: Bug-type. Likes sap and is abundant in the wild. Why it evolves into various different forms is unknown. One cannot tell from a Wurmple's appearance which forms it will take when it evolves.
"That's true after all." Serena says. "Hey, Ash! Ponyta is here as well!"
Ash looks in the direction as they see a Ponyta rushing past them, they have decided to capture some for the Pokedex.

Hisui Dex Entry No.23 Ponyta: The Fire Horse Pokemon: Fire-type. These Pokémon live in herds out in the grassland. Newborn foals lack their fiery manes, which will develop about an hour after birth.
They find Akari waiting for them as she says, "You're really doing quite well for yourself! Here! A little reward for keeping up with me: your own Crafting Kit!"
Ash and Serena manage to get a crafting kit, and Serena says, "So we can use it to craft Poke Balls anytime without going to the shop to craft...that's neat."
"And here's a recipe for Potiions, too." Akari says as she gives them the recipe.
"Now with an Oran Berry and a Medicinal Leek, you can make a Potion. So do heal your Pokemon." Akari says. "By the way, how goes your research?"
Ash smiles, "Great, it turns out I found one of my Pokemon that was also fell from the Space-time rift."
He throws a Pokeball to reveal Staraptor. Akari can only gasp in shock at how big the Staraptor is. "Oh my god..." Akari gasps as Ash quickly recalls the Pokemon before she faints with shock.
"You have a Staraptor that is such high level? Man...you sure are full with surprises." Akari says. "The Professor needs to see this."
"I know, we're going back to Professor Laventon right now." Ash says as they all walk back there.
"Oho! If it isn't a Crafting Kit! You must have listened attentively to Akari's teachings. Excellent work, dear boy and girl!" Laventon says. "This seems a good time to explain to you about survey reports and the rewards they offer."
They learn that after submitting survey reports, they will receive money based on the level and number of Pokemon they've caught. "On that note, let me check the research tasks you've completed thus far."
After showing the Pokemon, the Professor is amazed, but he is also stunned to see a Staraptor, which Ash also explains to him just like how he explained to Akari.
"Mm-hmm, I see...Most illuminating! I'll update our Pokedex with this new data!" Professor Laventon says.
"Well, we have already updated some data such as their entries." Ash says as he shows them.
"I see, well, since you have captured them and also befriended them, I guess it is no doubt that you know more than I do." Laventon chuckles. "Let me do the Research Levels, then. For each task, there are different points, and the maximum is 10."
"That sounds confusing." Serena says as the Professor checks the data.
"You two've made good progress on these research tasks, Ash and Serena. I do believe you're ready to move up the ranks! Let's head back to the village and report the good news to Captain Cyllene. It's time you earned yourselves a star!"
After getting back to the Galaxy Hall, they also find Beauregard, and he says, "Have you got a Wurmple you could give me?"
"Here it is." Ash takes a Poke Ball and hands it over to him. "You really brought me one! You must be as good as the rumors say. I'd like to name this Wurmple right away. Now I've been told a Wurmple will evolve into a Pokemon known as Beautifly, so I should give it a name with that in mind. Which of these do you like best: Beauticia, Beautifred, or Beaugene?"
"I am not sure if that Wurmple will evolve into a Beautifly though..." Ash whispers to Serena, who nods and says, "How about Beauticia? I like that one."
"I'll raise Beauticia to be a splendiferous Beautifly. Wait and see!" Beauregard says as he gives them a reward known as Dazzling Honey. After that's done, they go inside the hall and find Cyllene.
"If you have progress to report, I will judge its worthiness. Show me your Pokedex." Cyllene says as Ash hands over the Pokedex. After seeing the data, she nods, "Hm. You have made progress. It seems you have earned yourself a star."
He stands up from the seat and puts a star badge on Ash and Serena's outfit. "With this, you have officially attained the rank of First Star in the Galaxy Expedition Team. Have these as well. They are further recipes you'll need for crafting."
Then they got some recipes for crafting Heavy Balls and Revives, much to their delight. "That strangers like you should fall from the sky and yet flourish among us like this is a testament to your native talent and hard work. Most people prefer it when things are simple enough to be judged at face value alone. And proving your worth by moving up through our ranks is something anyone can understand. Keep at it, and even if you did fall from the sky, people may be more willing to accept you. Working your way through the ranks will also be a help if you wish to make a life for yourself here. A higher rank will grant you access to more types of Poke Balls and greater rewards."
"Thank you, captain Cyllene." Ash and Serena bow to the woman in front of them.
"For today, at least, you've earned yourself a meal at the Wallflower and a good night's rest." Cyllene says as they go find Laventon and Akari as they have dinner together.
And here is another new chapter, as you can see, Ash and Serena will capture more than one species of Pokemon for the Pokedex, and they will also do sidequests during the main quests like what I did when I played the game. Also, their Pokemon will return also by the Pokedex order as well. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be the start of the new main mission.
