There I was, atop that stone wall, looking out apon the road, littered with rubbish. Cars normally would be flying by, there smog poulliting the fresh air. But now instead of the load reving of motors, shouts and screams rent the air. "Call An Ambulance!",many people were saying. For a boy lay in the road, injured horribly. A boy with long white hair and black canine ears...
Ride For Your Life

I suppose I should start from the beggining. It all started the previous evening when Yuki arrived home from work. It had been a busy day and he was stressed. Any thing could set him off. Unfortunetly that "any thing" was his beloved Spazz. I sat apon the couch, absent mindedly creating shadow chambers and causing them to disapper. Zackaro sat at the other end reading, as she always does, a book titled Montemorency. No one payed attention when Yuki walked in. No one except Spazz that is. She instantly jumped to greet him."Yuki-kun! Your home!", she cryed as she ran to him.
Sadly, Yuki's skelton dog, Frankinestiny, crossed her path. As you would have guessed, the two collided. Bones skid across the room and the skull landed at Yukis feet. Spazz shrieked. "Oh! Yuki-kun I'm-!"she began but a louder, angry voice over powered hers.
"YOU IDIOT! What Did You Do That For You Stupid Girl! Huh!", he screamed at her.
Tears started to fill her eyes."Yuki-kun, I didn't mean to.", she sobbed.
Yuki just yelled some more."Yah! Well You Should Have Watched Where You Were Going!"
"But Yuki-ku-" SMACK!
Spazz fell to the floor in a dishevled heap. Yuki, for the first time had hit his Spazz. She layed there, shocked and unmoving. "Stop crying you litttle baby!" , he growled as he stormed out of the room.
I was in utter shock. Yuki loves Spazz! Everyone knows that! What would ever posses him to hurt her! That night I had a vision. When I awoke I couldn't rember what it had been about. All that remand of the terrible premonition was a sad feeling that I couldn't shake. The feeling that something terrible was about to unfold.
Yuki began avoiding Spazz. If she walked into the room he'd make up an excuse and leave. If she would try to say something to him he'd call someone elses name and ask them where a random object was. I don't know exactly what goes on inside that boys skull, but my best guess was that he was ashamed. It did nothing for that sad feeling I had, except fuel it.
Sure enough, that night, Felix (our father) called the entire family togther. Only one person was not present, Yuki. "I have a mission I need completed..."
Oh god! This wreacked with trouble! Felix's missions normally are life threating! "I need someone to ride the motorcycle, down to the river and deliver a package to a man named Crow...Who's gonna go?"
No one raised there hand. It seemed as if Felix would have to go himself. Then, out of the blue, someone said, "I'll do it."
