Chapter 11 Another One Found
A new day has arisen, Ash and Serena decide to get some work after breakfast, and Serena continues to do with the quests while Ash captures the Pokemon. Serena goes to the quest board and she says, "Clarissa from the Security Corps has a request for us. Something to do with Zubat, I believe. Talk to the good lady and investigate as necessary, if you please! That sounds very interesting."
She finds the lady at the row of houses close to the training grounds, and she says, "Hi. Clarissa of the Security Corps - that's me! Thanks so much for taking on my request. I need you to catch a Zubat and show it to me so I can take a look at its eyes."
"Zubat's eyes?" Serena asks as she wonders if Zubat really has eyes.
"Odd request, I know, but I've good reason for it. Zubat never seems to have trouble flying around in pitch-darkness. That means their night vision must be top-notch! If I could learn how to see in the dark like them, night shifts on guard duty would be a breeze. So I'm counting on your help. Catch a Zubat and come show it to me, would you?"
"Sure." Serena says. "I mean, my boyfriend already caught one this morning."
As she sends out the Pokemon, she takes a good look at it. "I'll just take a look at those peepers, if you please, Zubat!" Clarrisa says, but she can't find any eyes on the Pokemon.
"Huh...? Where are the eyes on this little guy? Don't tell me...it doesn't even HAVE eyes?! But...but then that means Zubat flies around while being completely blind!" Clarrisa gasps.
"Zubat have some other kind of secret sense if it doesn't even need eyes." Serena says. "It uses ears and soundwaves."
"That's amazing and all, but it hardly helps me." Clarrisa sighs. "What am I going to do about my nighttime shifts on guard duty?"
"Maybe you can catch a Zubat to help you out?" Serena asks. "I mean, you are from the Security Corps, right?"
"That's a good idea! No need for me to go it alone, after all. A little help would be great! That's that, then. I'll get out there and find a Zubat that can help me as my partner. Thanks for the great advice!"
Then she gives them two Aux Power, an item that sharply boosts the offensive stats of a Pokémon during a battle. Serena puts it away as she knows it might be useful for her Pokemon.
As for Ash, he walks to Deertrack Path to capture some Kricketot, since they already have a Kricketune, but he will need to catch one and evolve it. But for the first Kricketot, it notices Ash and runs away, much to his frustration.
"I need to catch it without being spotted...but that is very hard..." Ash says, "But it is a good thing I have some berries."
Ash throws an Oran Berry at the Kricketot and then throws a Poke Ball at it. Eventually, the Pokemon is captured. He also evolves the female one into a Kricketune since they already have a male Alpha Kricketune. But Ash also frowns as he also needs to catch one Kricketune without being spotted as well.
"Maybe I should capture one and release it immediately? I mean, that way the data can be recorded and I won't try to confine the other Pokemon in the pastures or the Aether Foundation..." Ash says as he tries to do it with the Kricketune.

Hisui Dex Entry No.39 Kricketot: The Cricket Pokémon. Bug-type. When the trees take on new hues, more of these Pokémon appear. The tone they create by striking their antennae together resembles that of the marimba, an instrument of foreign lands.
Hisui Dex Entry No.40 Kricketune: The Cricket Pokémon: Bug-type. Evolve from Kricketot at LV:10. It uses its cutlass-like arms to produce sound, the melody of which varies from individual to individual. It is a worthwhile endeavor to seek out one's favorite tunes.
As he continues to move forward, he hears a sound as he finds out a Buizel is fighting a Rapidash with glowing red eyes. Ash decides to hide behind a tree to see what's going on.
"An Alpha Rapidash...what is it doing in the Horseshoe Plains?" Ash thinks as he decides to watch the battle, the Buizel manages to use Aqua Jet to deal a lot of damage. Ash checks the Pokedex and realizes that the Buizel is bigger than a normal Buizel, which is needed for one of the tasks. As for Rapidash, Ash needs to capture an Alpha, and he notices that the Rapidash is going to a Strong-Style Fire Blast, which hurts Buizel a lot. But Buizel still manages to knock it out using another Aqua Jet.
"Wow...that Buizel is strong." Ash says, "But I missed mine..."
Ash decides to aim at the Poke Ball at the Rapidash, and much to his surprise, he manages to capture it in one go. But he is noticed by the Buizel, Akari mentioned that Buizel will attack them, so Ash was about to send out a Pokemon, but he is tackled to the ground, not because of Buizel's attack, but Buizel's affection.
"Wait, are you my Buizel?" Ash realizes, "That's why you're capable of defeating that Alpha Rapidash?"
Buizel nods as he continues to hug him, Ash sighs, "Okay, Buizel. It's great to see you, have you seen others with you as well?"
Buizel shakes his head, Ash frowns, "I see...I would really like to see if I can find Pikachu...but since you're here, Buizel, I guess you want to come back to my team?"
Buizel nods as his Pokeball also changes into the ancient one, and Buizel also takes him to a pack of Buizel and an Alpha Floatzel.
"Wait, Buizel...are you telling me that you were with this pack when you're trying to find me?" Ash asks, and Buizel nods. the Alpha Floatzel looks at Ash and asks for a battle, so Ash agrees as he uses Rowlet to battle, but the Floatzel is strong as it uses Agile Style Water Pulse to make Rowlet confused, but Rowlet manages to defeat it using Razor Leaf, and Ash uses the chance to capture it.
"So a Buizel, a Floatzel, and a Rapidash...I can't believe I already have three strong Pokemon already." Ash says, and Buizel nods, also evolving into a Floatzel.
"Floatzel...that was very surprising." Ash says, "But I guess that the whole experience thing is shared to all my team after defeating a Pokemon. But that's fine."

Hisui Dex Entry No.24 Rapidash: The Fire Horse Pokemon: Fire-type. Evolve from Ponyta at LV:40. Fiery mane aglow, Rapidash darts like an arrow across the land. This prodigiously swift creature can traverse the vast region of Hisui in a day and a half.
Hisui Dex Entry No.41 Buizel: The Sea Weasel Pokemon: Water-type. It moves freely in the water by spinning its forked tail for propulsion. The resemblance to the screw of a steamboat is coincidental.
Hisui Dex Entry No.42 Floatzel: The Sea Weasel Pokemon: Water-type. Evolve from Buizel at LV:26. Has a long, rather splendid flotation sac, which prevents Floatzel from drowning even in stormy seas. One might glimpse this species around fishing hamlets from time to time.
"Now the next will be Burmy...which can be found in shaking trees." Ash says as he looks for some shaking trees. "There is one."
As he has Staraptor using headbutt, a Burmy drops down and it tries to use Struggle Bug. "Staraptor, dodge it and go with Aerial Ace!"
Staraptor nods as he manages to defeat the Pokemon, thus letting Ash use the chance to capture it.

Hisui Dex Entry No.43 Burmy (Plant Cloak): The Bagworm Pokémon: Bug-type. If its cloak is even slightly damaged, Burmy will immediately repair it with whatever is close at hand. The Pokémon within the cloak is scrawny and vulnerable to the cold.
"I think I will want to catch other forms of Burmy as well, but I don't think a Sand Cloak or the Trash Cloak can be found here..." Ash sighs. "Well, I think I should go find Serena for the Buizel request."
As for Serena, she is doing another request from the blackboard. "Beauregard from the Security Corps seems to be in a pickle over his Wurmple's evolution. Oh, that guy that we gave a Wurmple to. Speak with him and look into it, won't you?"
As Serena walks out of the Galaxy Hall, she finds that besides Beauregard, it is a Cascoon instead of a Silcoon. He says, "I don't believe it. Professor Laventon seems to think that li'l Beauticia here is a Cascoon...But, errr, hello? It's CLEARLY a Silcoon."
"I think it is CLEARLY NOT a Silcoon." Serena thinks.
"You're making some kinda Pokedex or something together with the Professor, right? Then you gotta help me! Please go catch a wild Silcoon so I can prove it's the same species as Beauticia here!"
"It is a good thing that Ash didn't release his Silcoon yet." She throws a Pokeball and Silcoon is out. After Beauregard looks at the two Pokemon, he yells, "Ha! Just as I thought. They're exactly the same!"
"They're not, just look at their eyes." Serena decides to speak out.
"Hmmm, now that you mention it...I guess they're not exactly two peas in a pod. I never would've thought two Pokemon this similar could actually be different species! Pokemon really are curious creatures, huh?"
Cascoon looks concerned at its trainer, and Beauregard says, "Beauticia, my buddy...I didn't know the first thing about you, did I? I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. You sure you're still happy to have a goof like me for a partner?"
Cascoon nods and tackles the guard, who laughs, "Beauticia, you loveable rascal! You really are the only partner for me! This dynamic duo will stay together forever!"
Then he gives Serena an Exp. Candy S as thanks, and at the same time, Ash arrives and asks, "What did I miss?"
"Hey Ash. I just finished two more requests." Serena smiles. "What about you?"
"I found one of my older Pokemon." Ash throws a Pokeball and a Floatzel comes out.
"A Floatzel! Does that mean your Buizel evolved?" Serena asks.
"Yeah, after battling an Alpha Floatzel." Ash smiles.
"But what about the Buizel request?" Serena asks.
"About that, I caught another big Buizel for that one, so don't worry, and let's finish this." Ash says as they go to the gate to find Dorian, he gives the Buizel to Dorian and compares the two Buizels. He says, "Thank you! Look at them side by side - it's almost like the big one is the little one's older sibling. Look how the tip of the little one's snout points up when it looks at us. What a precious little thing! And the big one's floatation sac - there's something reassuring about how large it is, don't you think?"
"I know what you mean." Ash says.
"Funny how Pokemon of the same species can seem so different depending which one's bigger! Keeping an eye on Pokemon's sizes when you're catching them might spice up your excursions! Thank you for the favor! I know you Survey Corps folks' work is no joke, so keep at it. I'll be rooting for you!"
And then they get an Oran Berry and an Exp Candy S as thanks, and then they decide to go back to Obsidian Fieldlands to catch more Pokemon.
I'll end the chapter here, and Ash gets his own Buizel back and evolves it into a Floatzel, but the requests are far from done, we will be continuing some more in the next chapter before heading back to the main story.
