Chapter 15 Meeting Lian
Ash and Serena are now arriving at the Heights Camp as they get off the carriage, and they are heading to the Heartwood. On the way, Ash is working on the Feather Ball by using Apricorn and Sky Tumblestone. "There it is finished."
Serena looks at the ball and asks, "So what does it do?"
"I am not sure." Ash says as he throws, but much to their surprise, the ball is going very fast as it already disappears out of their sight. "Is that supposed to be happening?"
"Look at how far it goes..." Serena says as they decide to look for the ball, and much to their surprise, they find it in Windswept Run and there are a lot of Abras there.
"Look at all the Abra here..." Serena says.
"But it seems we already captured one, not to mention it is a light specimen..." Ash says. "But it says that we need to scare it off with the Scatter Bang..."
"I have no idea what it is, but maybe we will find it later in the journey." Serena shrugs.

Hisui Dex Entry No.58 Abra: The Psi Pokemon: Psychic-type. Spends 18 hours of the day sleeping. Even while asleep, Abra can control its psychic powers—should danger approach, the Pokémon will simply teleport away.
As they get back to Deertrack Heights, Ash is being tackled down by a shadow from the stone above. Ash asks, "What's going on?"
The shadow turns out to be an Infernape, much to Ash's surprise. "Infernape? Is that you?"
The Pokemon nods as he hugs Ash tight, and Serena says, "I never knew you'll be able to find Infernape so soon."
Ash says, "Yeah. Pikachu told me that you split up to find me, where were you trying to find me?"
Infernape points at an island far away, and he says, "You looked there to find me? And you didn't find me, so you decide to look for me on top of that rock and then you found me?"
Infernape nods and Ash smiles, "Welcome back to the team, Infernape."
As Infernape is recalled to the Pokeball, they also find a Chimchar and give the Pokemon food and capture it without noticing.

Hisui Dex Entry No.61 Chimchar: The Chimp Pokemon: Fire-type. Full of vigor and always in high spirits. It was once known by the name "Lantern-Tail" and feared as some kind of apparition.
And when they arrive at the Tidewater Dam, they find an Alpha Bibarel at the beach, and they decide to defeat it and capture it.

Hisui Dex Entry No.11 Bibarel: The Beaver Pokemon: Normal- and Water-type. Evolve from Bidoof at LV:15. Bibarel fur repels water and is also a fantastic material for heat retention. These Pokémon create dams on rivers to live in.
They also find some Staravia and defeat it with Electric moves, evolving the Starly into a Staravia, and giving food to them.

Hisui Dex Entry No.13 Staravia: The Starling Pokemon: Normal- and Flying-type. Evolve from Starly at LV:14. They form remarkably large flocks and are constantly fighting amongst themselves. I suspect that those with magnificent plumes on their heads are the strong ones.
"So we're at the Heartwood." Serena says, "It sure is dense around here."
"This place might be Eterna Forest in the past if I remember correctly." Ash says as he looks around, and a Buneary just jumps past them.
"Buneary!" Serena says. "They look so cute!"
"I know. But being slapped by their ears are painful." Ash says.

Hisui Dex Entry No.64 Buneary: The Rabbit Pokemon: Normal-type. My hypothesis as to why Buneary rolls up its ears is that its hearing is far too keen. I surmise that the Pokémon protects its hearing by limiting the sound that may enter its ears.
Serena is asking Bibarel to smack the tree since she finds that it is shaking, and out comes a Cherubi.

Hisui Dex Entry No.66 Cherubi: The Cherry Pokemon: Grass-type. Once the fruit growing alongside the main body is large and plump, Cherubi will use the nutrients within to evolve. The fruit then detaches, becoming nourishment for other creatures.
Then Serena notices that in the creek there are some Psyducks, she decides to pick the heaviest one and feed it with the berry, then capturing it in the end. And Shinx evolves into a Luxio after defeating Psyduck with a Thunder Shock.

Hisui Dex Entry No.68 Psyduck: The Duck Pokemon: Water-type. Suffers perpetual headaches. If the agony grows too great, Psyduck's latent power erupts, contrary to Psyduck's intent. Ergo, I am exploring ways to ease the pain.
Hisui Dex Entry No.16 Luxio: The Spark Pokemon: Electric-type. Evolve from Shinx at LV:15. Proudly uses its electrified claws as weapons. It seems to be a gracious Pokémon, evenly sharing the spoils of the hunt with others of its kind.
Ash decides to shake some trees as well and he gets a lot of Combees. So he captures both a male and a female, and defeats one with Rock moves.

Hisui Dex Entry No.70 Combee: The Tiny Bee Pokemon: Bug- and Flying-type. They swear fealty to a queen Pokémon and work diligently to gather nectar. Each swarm produces a different flavor of honey.
And finally, they find Scyther while heading upwards on the road, and thanks to Lillie's help, they know that Scyther has another evolution, which is Kleavor. Ash has Chimchar defeat it with Rollout, and Chimchar also evolves into a Monferno in the end.

Hisui Dex Entry No.72 Scyther: The Mantis Pokemon: Bug- and Flying-type. The large, wickedly sharp scythes on its forearms are truly fearsome weapons. Prey's attempts to flee are unfailingly thwarted by this Pokémon's nimble motions.
Hisui Dex Entry No.62 Monferno: The Playful Pokemon: Fire- and Fighting-type. Evolve from Chimchar at LV:14. The deeper the blue on its face, the more powerful it will grow to become. It leaps about every which way and lands powerful blows against its opponents with the flame on its tail.
"I guess that's all we can find right here." Serena says.
"Indeed." Ash says. "But we shouldn't forget that we are here for the frenzied Pokemon."
As they find the giant tree, they see a boy in a Pearl Clan's outfit and a hat standing in front of them. Ash feels like the boy is similar to the Ground-type Gym Leader in the Unova Region: Clay.
"I'm Lian of the Pearl Clan. The Warden to Kleavor, Lord of the Woods. And you two - I've already deduced that you're come here to meet Kleavor. I'm right, aren't I?" Lian asks.
"You're right about that." Ash says.
"Of course I am! I can see it so clearly." Lian says. "After all, the powerfully awesome Kleavor has become even more awesomely powerful! Perhaps that strange lightning the other day was almighty Sinnoh's divine power...But whatever it was, it struck my lord and left him imbued with awesome might! So I must turn you away, even if it pains me. It's too dangerous for you to meet Kleavor right now."
"But we'll do anything to help Kleavor, no matter what." Serena says, and Lian finally sees her face. "Irida? Why are you wearing Galaxy Team's uniform, and what are you doing with him?"
"I'm not Irida, I'm Serena Yvonne. I am like Ash, we fell from the Space-time rift." Serena says. "We are going to help Kleavor. We'll do anything."
Lian is surprised and he says, "Oh! Such earnest desire to meet mighty Kleavor! I have to admit I'm struck by your passion...But, well...I'm afraid your passion is not the real issue here...I've been told in no uncertain terms by Irida that I am to let no one near Kleavor! Even if you look like her, I will fight you off myself if you insist. If you wish to avoid battle, withdraw now, while you still can! Or face the wrath of my Goomy!"
Just then, they notice that a Goomy just slithers out behind Lian, and Ash and Serena can only flinch in surprise.
"You don't even realize I'm turning you away for your own safety! How sad you are...Go, Goomy, and see if you can ooze some good sense over these foolish troublemakers!"
Serena says, "I'll battle you then. Sylveon! I choose you!"
As Sylveon appears on the field, Lian knows that it is a Fairy-type Pokemon, but he says, "Acid Spray!"
The Poison move turns out to be super effective as Sylveon takes a lot of damage, but Sylveon goes with Fairy Wind, which also deals a lot of damage.
"Now agile-style Bubble!" Lian yells, and it goes for Bubble two times on Sylveon, but Sylveon manages to stand still and Serena says, "Finish with Moonblast!"
Sylveon then defeats Goomy as it faints, and Lian lowers his head and says, "H-how can this be..."
But he recovers himself and says, "I may've been defeated, but my point still stands! It's too dangerous to meet Kleavor now. The only welcome you'll get if you approach him is a flurry of devastating blows! Normally, I'd simply try making him an offering...A nice heaped helping of his two favorite foods, served up with respect by his loyal warden - that's me, o' course - is usually enough to please him and soothe the prickliest of moods...But even I, Kleavor's loyal warden, can't get close enough to give any offerings now - not with the way Kleavor is rampaging and running amok. There's nothing that outsiders like you can do."
"The ancestors of Kleavor, Wyrdeer, and their cohort drew on almighty Sinnoh's own power to protect Pokemon and people alike - so it's said. It's by their grace that our clan - that any of us - still lives in vast Hisui today!" Just then, the real Irida appears, and Ash asks, "Irida? What are you doing here?"
"As Lian says, Kleavor's grown even stronger, but I'm afraid that strength poses a problem for us." Irida replies. "If he was indeed struck by that lightning...could the bolts have been sent by the false Sinnoh that the Diamond Clan bows? Kleavor means so much to our clan...I'd hoped we could bring this situation under control ourselves, not throw our hands up and ask some outsiders for help..."
"Outsiders? Us?" Serena and Ash are not happy to hear that.
"But we must save Kleavor from this frenzy. Every moment it continues, the danger grows. If more people and Pokemon are attacked, it will lead to conflict with both the Diamond Clan and the Galaxy Team."
Lian frowns and then he looks at Ash and Serena. "You! Strangers from beyond the sky! Tell me...Could you Galaxy people actually fix all this? Could outsiders actually find a way to quell our lord's frenzy?"
"We can figure something out." Ash says. "No matter what clan or team it is, if there's a Pokemon that needs help, we are going to help it out."
Irida nods and says, "Very well! Lian and I will gather foods that please Kleavor, in hopes that we might be able to get close enough to make him a proper offering. As for you two - find a way to quell his frenzy, even if you must search every corner of vast Hisui!"
"You can count on us." Serena says, showing the determination and then leave with Ash by her side. Lian turns to Irida, "Don't you think the way she acts is so much like you?"
"I don't know...but I think there is some sort of connection between me and that girl..." Irida replies.
I'll end the chapter here, as you can see, Ash and Serena capture some more Pokemon and fill out the Pokedex for the team. I hope you like this chapter and the main story continues in the next chapter.
