Chapter 26

New Trifecta Part 3: Want It That Way

"Very well. The last Stand User is named Reiko Haku."

"Wait, what?" JoJo reacted, quirking a brow in confused surprise. "That stuck up asshole?"

"Do you know him, JoJo?" MC asked, slowly encroaching upon him with a confused expression.

"You don't?" JoJo asked back, shooting his head back to the others. "He's the Hall Monitor. We all know him."

Monika widened her eyes, then sighed. "I see," she mused out loud. "We knew another Hall Monitor. Reshi Sakimoto. He got deleted, and this man is his replacement. I had seen Wallace giving him the position in front of me, in the last run."

"Wait, the last run?" MC pointed out. "But… didn't we rewind from that? How did this guy keep the position?"

"Well, Wallace used his abilities to give him the position," Monika replied. "Once again, I don't know what he exactly did, but the badge just appeared on him once Wallace touched him."

"Umm, guys?" Sayori interrupted. "I'd love to hear more about Wallace, but can we focus on this other guy right now?"

"Ah, right," Monika nodded, turning back to Sachiko. "Please carry on."

"Thanks," Sachiko nodded back, then turned to face everyone. "Haku-san's ability is… an interesting one. It's called Want It That Way. It's actually pretty cute to look at, but its ability is insane. Any question that Haku-san asks it, the Stand will be able to answer."

"So… an infinite library?" Yuri asked with widened eyes.

"Yeah, something like that," Sachiko shrugged as she responded, crooking her neck as she did so. "Apparently, he can even get information that people haven't discovered."

Yuri huffed and rested a hand on her mouth. "I cannot believe I'm saying this, but I'm jealous," she said.

"Come on, Yuri, your Stand is badass enough!" Natsuki interjected. Yuri jerked a little upon hearing Natsuki's words, then deeply flushed red as she looked away in embarrassment.

"I-I-I g-guess s-so…" Yuri muttered in response, soft enough to render some of them unable to hear her. However, Natsuki listened close, which is why she nodded with a wide smile in response.

"Alright, let's look at this straight," JoJo interrupted, waving the two off. "So, this guy just gets information? Is that it? Because that sounds like an easy win for us."

"We can't assume that," Yuri called out, calming herself to respond. "This person can answer any question asked. That means that he'll be privy to information that none of us could even dream to acquire. We will have no idea what he really knows."

"Still, it's just knowledge," JoJo fired back. "What can he do with just that?"

"Ya know, I would have answered, but I dunno either," Sachiko spoke up, making the others turn to her again. "I've never seen the guy fight, so I have literally no clue."

"Well, that's not good," MC said. "It doesn't matter. We just need to do what we've been doing till now. Reason his fighting style as soon as possible before we get too hurt."

"Yeah!" Sayori replied with a cheer. "And I'll be there to heal you all!"

MC smirked. "I'm really glad you're here, Sayori. I really don't know where we'd be without you."

"Probably dead from blood loss, or so sick of rewinds that we would want to die," JoJo replied for him. "Pretty easy to reason, really."

"Alright, when are we going to fight this guy?" Natsuki asked to change the subject, folding her arms as she pouted.

"We actually have gym with him, first period," JoJo said with a smile. "MC and I. We're all in the same class."

"Wait, really?" MC asked. "I never noticed."

"I'm pretty sure you don't know about anyone in your classes other than us," Sayori teased him with a simper.

"That's… shut up!" MC bit back, looking away in irritation and embarrassment.

"Don't worry about it," JoJo said. "Anyway, Kamiya, is this guy the only Stand User left?"

Sachiko nodded in response. "I don't know about anyone else, at least."

"Good," JoJo nodded. "That means that everyone else will be safe. We'll meet in the club and then we can go ahead to meet Wallace."

"Yeah," Natsuki added. "You guys better not die, alright?"

"What do you take us for?" JoJo said back with a smirk.

Sayori, out of the corner of her eye, managed to see Monika looking out of the window into the night sky, seeming to be in thought.

'She's going to face Wallace,' Sayori realized. 'She's probably trying to gear herself up for it.'

"Anyway, it's pretty late now," MC said, clapping to grab everyone's attention. "We need to be prepared for tomorrow. Get some sleep. Sachiko, don't come to school tomorrow, no matter what. Once again, we have no clue what will happen if Wallace catches you again."

"Roger that!" Sachiko replied as she shifted to attention and saluted with a smirk. "Will skip school tomorrow, sir!"

MC groaned out loud at her antics, but nodded, knowing that she still understood hid point.

"We're going to have to take our leave then," Natsuki said. "My mom would probably be back by now. I've been talking to her through text to keep her cool, but I can't stay out for any longer."

"Yeah," MC said. "Good night, everyone."

"So, here we are again," JoJo said, walking up to Sayori and MC who were waiting by the school.

They all knew that there was no need to wake up earlier than normal. They just had to make it there on time, early enough to attend their classes.

"Seriously, first period gym?" Sayori complained. "I'm glad to not be you, MC."

"What do you mean?" JoJo asked, tilting his head in confusion. "Gym's fun."

"Well, you're buff! You can handle it! I just get hungry every time I finish a run."

MC chuckled as Sayori gently rubbed her stomach, comically letting out a tear from her eye.

"I hope you got breakfast today, at least," MC teased. "Maybe write a poem right after."

"Hey, that was one time!"

"Two times, you can't fool me!"

"You all seem lively."

Registering the new voice, the three turned back to see Monika approaching them, Natsuki and Yuri closely in tow.

"Good, you're here," JoJo said, immediately forgetting everything that had transpired between the couple. "This means we're ready to go, right?"

"Yes, we are," Monika nodded in reply. "All we need to do is stay in class and away from Wallace, yes?"

"Exactly," JoJo said, flashing his thumbs up in approval. "MC and I are going to defeat this Haku guy, and you guys stand back. Get ready for our fight with Wallace later."

"Roger that," Natsuki nodded, looking at the number of students entering the school doors that day. "You know… any of you miss regular school?"

JoJo groaned out loud. "I thought we already had this discussion before?!"

"Of course, we do," Sayori echoed her past self, ignoring JoJo's grumbling. "But there's not much we can do about it right now."

"Exactly," Yuri spoke up with a nod. "I'm getting far too bored in classes now. I've already heard everything they have to say enough to repeat everything word to word."

"By the way, what are we gonna have for gym today?" JoJo asked, turning to MC. "You should know from the past runs.

"Dodgeball again," MC told him. "I seriously don't know why coach loves that sport so much. It gets boring after so many times."

JoJo groaned out loud once again. "Well, at least we have our fight to look forward to," he said, pointing out the silver lining for him.

Monika deadpanned at the Joestar. "Sometimes, I wonder if you should have been the murderer instead of me."

Before JoJo could argue, MC spoke up. "We need to move in now. Bell's about to ring at any point."

Nodding, the group walked into the school. The girls made their way into the hallway to move to their classrooms, but the two boys moved around the complex to the outdoor gym nearby.

"You ready?" JoJo asked, pausing before the gym.

"Yeah," MC said back, nodding.

The two walked into the gym.

"We're playing Dodgeball again," their coach said, making everyone groan out loud.

"Called it," MC said, making JoJo chortle a little as he adjusted the collar of his gym uniform.

In mere moments, everyone had finished their warmup of five laps around the gym. Once they were sweaty enough, the coach had them split up into two groups. MC and JoJo ended up frowning once they found that they were placed on opposing teams.

'How are we gonna face this guy if we're on opposite teams?' MC pondered, oddly remembering his first Stand Battle against Hoketsu.

"Sir?" A hand from JoJo's team was raised up. As the boy in question stepped up, MC made out his fair skin marked with a few acne spots and sleek ginger red hair, combed straight down. "I sincerely apologize for the interruption, but may I make a request?"

"Haku," the coach called out. "What is it?"

'Haku?' MC recognized as he turned back to look at the redhead again. 'So… this is the Stand User?' Shotting JoJo a look, the sandy-haired boy's nod explained the accuracy of his thoughts.

"Can I swap to the other team?" he said.

The coach crossed his eyes. "You of all people know that these teams are permanent."

"I have a specific person I wish to swap with," Reiko Haku said.

The coach blinked in surprise. "Well, who is it?"

"Mark Caulfield," he said, pointing to MC in the other team. "I humbly request that you consider this request. Mr Caulfield would want this as well, wouldn't he?"

As Haku shot him an inquisitive look, almost challenging him, MC grimaced. Turning back to the coach, he nodded. "He's right," he said, firing a glare back at Haku to accept his challenge. "I want to swap with him as well."

"The Hall Monitor and Mr Caulfield…" the coach surmised, a hand on his chin. "Tell you what. If you both are willing to take this match seriously, I'll allow it."

"That was my intention in the first place," Haku said, still aiming his glare at MC.

"Yeah, same here," MC replied, pushing away the uneasiness he felt at Haku's glare.

"Good, good. If that is the case, you both may switch places."

As MC and Haku walked past each other to the other teams, Haku managed to whisper something to him.

"I know the secrets of the Joestars and the Zeppelis."

MC blinked in surprise at Haku's words but continued walking regardless. Reaching the other team, he repeated the words to JoJo.

"He really knows it all, huh?" JoJo remarked with a smirk. "I'm pretty sure that he made it personal."

"Is that really something to be 'pretty sure' of?" MC asked, cocking his head.

JoJo shook his head with a sigh. "I don't know what he means, really. The Joestars and the Zeppelis have harbored several secrets. He'd have to be more specific."

In another few moments, the court was set, and the balls were distributed. Haku picked up a ball from the other end, bouncing it to test it for a moment. MC and JoJo ended up grabbing a ball each as well, preparing themselves for the confrontation ahead.

"Alright, is everyone ready?" the coach called out from the middle of the court. "Good. I want a clean fight, 'kay? Start at my whistle."

"Want It That Way," MC heard Haku mutter to himself from the other end. "Tell me the optimal angle and force to deflect the balls that will come my way."

Lazily walking away from the field and turning back to see the match, the coach alarmed his shrill whistle.

Immediately, there were several balls clumsily thrown around and a group of people chasing after the incoming ones, wanting to be sent out as soon as possible. MC would have done the same if it weren't for his responsibilities as a Stand User. That's why he had to strenuously move away from all the incoming balls. JoJo had to do the same, but he was far more experienced with the sport which made it easier for him.

Looking to the other side, MC widened his eyes as he noticed about five balls approaching Haku. Haku hadn't moved at all due to the looming threat and simply held up the ball still in his hand. He breathed in deep as he watched the incoming balls.

"Momentum Observed… Chaos Drive."

Suddenly, the rubber ball started to spin around in his hand, while a layer of lightning coating it made it ripple in his hand as well. Winding his arm back for the briefest of moments, the ball fired off from his hand like a bullet and struck the closest ball. As it deflected it, it bounced of high from the spin applied, making it strike the ball behind it. Now pushed down while deflecting the second, it bounced off the ground while leaving a minor crater as it forcefully punched through the third on its side, making it ricochet back onto the other two balls to deflect them as well. As the third ball happened to make its way back to him, the same ball Haku fueled from early bounced from the wall and struck it. Deflecting yet again, it bounced on the ground and fired back to Haku, who easily caught it in the palm of his hand and eased the spin it was subjected to. And with that, Haku had deflected all five incoming balls with a single throw.

"What… what was that?" JoJo gaped at the display in front of him. The effect was not lost on the others in the gym as well. Everyone was simply watching him at that point. The coach had unknowingly dropped the whistle from his mouth in surprise.

"Science from this universe and another," Haku explained, holding up the ball. "The ancient arts named Hamon and Spin are both known by me, with the help of Want It That Way, of course. Chaos Drive is the perfect harmony between both energies, being both and greater at the same time. An incredibly complicated art, impossible to be used without the presence of Want It That Way."

With that phrase, he shifted his head to the right, revealing the thumb-sized white Stand hanging off his ear. MC could briefly make out its elephantine appearance, with large ears and beady black eyes and a large trunk covering its small torso, surrounded by four limbs that all looked like they were topped by hands.

'Sachiko was right,' MC let in a treacherous thought. 'It's kinda adorable. I can absolutely see Sayori cooing over this.'

"I've heard of Hamon before, but what the hell is Spin?" JoJo confessed and asked. "Is it… literally just spinning something?"

Haku chuckled as he pulled his arm back once again, imbuing Chaos Drive within it yet again. "It may be just that… but regardless, it has many applications. For example, isn't Hamon just the ability to ripple things? And yet it is used to defeat vampires."

With that, he fired off the next hit yet again, this time making it knock out all the remaining people in MC's team. However, as it travelled to the ceiling of the gym after destroying MC's and JoJo's team in one swoop, it bent in its path and returned to Haku's team, narrowly missing the fire alarm past it. Suddenly, the ball proceeded to knock out the ones in Haku's own team as well before landing back onto the culprit's hand.

"I am very glad that I met Wallace-sama," he said, now dropping his right arm. "I wouldn't have been able to probe information from other worlds otherwise, after all. I would have never perfected Chaos Drive without him."

Suddenly, the fire alarm started to blare out. MC blinked in surprise at the sudden sound. Looking at the ceiling once again, he stood agape as he noticed that the fire alarm was beeping, indicating that it was triggered. Suddenly, the sprinklers in the gym triggered on, making everyone else run away as fast as possible. However, MC could make out that a lot of them seemed to be stumbling in their steps.

"Hey, how did that trigger the fire alarm?" MC asked, picking up another ball that rolled in front of him. "That ball never made contact with it."

As he threw the ball in his hand at him, he found that he had let go of it far too early, making it soar above him in the air and fall right atop his head. Recoiling from the impact, MC found himself losing balance as he stumbled to the floor, his clothes quickly getting drenched in the sprinkler water and weighing him down.

"Dude, you've never been that clumsy bef-Whoah!" JoJo said while taking a step forward, only to find himself stumbling ahead as well, faceplanting onto the floor.

"Therein lies the power of Chaos Drive," Haku said, still standing his ground even though everyone else had already evacuated, leaving the three of them behind. "Chaos Drive uses its spin to imbibe the source's surroundings with a faint ripple, strong enough to permeate through objects. With those minute ripples affecting your spinal cords and your brain's muscle coordination, you are now diagnosed with ataxia."

"S-Shit!" JoJo muttered as he pushed up from the ground, trying his best to keep himself in check. "H-How are we gonna beat someone like this!"

Looking to the side, MC had to suppress his smirk as he noticed the small strands emerging from JoJo's palm on the floor, with him pretending that he was struggling to Stand.

"Not so fast."

Haku pulled out several marbles from his pocket and had them all hover over his hand with Chaos Drive. Tossing them ahead, the two found themselves trapped within the barrage of the small marbles that seemingly held infinite energy from the two forces enhancing them.

"Fuck!" JoJo cursed out loud. "He… He pierced my net! I can't use that ability like this!"

"You can't bend space either," MC realized. "That leaves only another option."

"I know about your Rollback, Caulfield," Haku said. "And I have to say, I'm severely disappointed at how badly you use that ability."

MC quickly sniggered as he stood up, immediately feeling disoriented from his ataxia and the marbles occasionally digging into his back making it even worse. Ignoring the disorientation, he forced himself to walk ahead.

"Day One," MC grit his teeth as he summoned his Stand. Bracing himself, he quickly let his body be lifted up by his Stand, like a father would pick up a child from their armpits.

'Natsuki, good work discovering this.'

"RAAAGHH!" MC yelled out as Day One tossed his body forward, it jumping as well to keep in pace with him. The Stand covered him as an outline around his body to keep him from getting pierced by the spinning marbles still bouncing around. He still felt the impact through the transferred ripple and the ataxia, along with the spin winding up his body through his Stand as well, but he found himself lucky that he wouldn't get stabbed by them.

Now closer to Haku's form, he quickly held his right hand out, projecting the green clock on it.

"Rollback!" he called out from his position, knowing that Haku hadn't moved at all from where he had stood. However, he hadn't noticed the marble that Haku was spinning in his hands.

Dragging time back to before Haku could unleash his marbles, he used up his full Rollback and blindly punched out to where Haku stood.

Only to find him further away.

MC suddenly stumbled to the floor in front of him, unable to move any further. Haku wasted no time as he quickly picked up another dodgeball from the ground, imbibing it with Chaos Drive and tossing it onto his upper back, right at the top of his ribcage. MC suddenly felt his entire body contort and rip apart from the two forces carried into his body, unusually restraining his limbs to the ground.

"I had used Chaos Drive to manipulate the air in front of me, forming an illusion that I was closer than I truly was," he said, walking past MC to toss his marbles around JoJo again. "I have to accredit Mr Gyro Zeppeli for that one, however. Also, I placed that ball on you within one second after your Rollback. You will be unable to save yourself from it."

"Shut… up…" MC groaned out as he strained against the spin holding him down, but stopped once he felt that he could easily rip through his own skin if he went too far. Taking a moment to think, he realized that since he could not reach it himself, someone else would have to do it for him.

"Day One!"

With his Stand brought out once again, MC could make out that the effects of the spin were being reflected on Day One as well, as shown by the way the Stand's body was curving upon itself as well. Doing his best to ignore the pain he felt running through his body while doing so, he willed the Stand to bend down and pick up the ball from his back. Somehow, he managed to get the Stand to do it, even though he felt like he could have ripped his lungs in half at any moment.

Now with the dodgeball spinning in Day One's hand, MC found his own body contorting differently as well, somehow driving him back up into a stand. Before he could fall over in the opposite direction, he quickly threw the dodgeball away, ignoring the way it left another crater on the wall.

Now that he was standing again, he quickly rested a hand on the shoulder of his Stand to support himself, heaving as he looked back at Haku. He finally noticed that he had taken that time to toss the spinning marbles around the room again to trap JoJo.

"Damn…" he muttered with a little slur, still fighting against the Ataxia he was afflicted with. Letting out a few wet coughs, he grimaced as he found some blood sprayed on his hands. Realising that it should have been from when he fought against the Spin, he elected to look back up at Haku again instead.

"JoJo!" he strenuously yelled out, making the crouched tanned boy look back up at him. "Aren't you gonna do anything?"

"There isn't much he can do," Haku spoke up instead, ignoring the struggle that JoJo went through to stand back up. "He cannot use his abilities in this position. He's rendered useless. And I wound not suggest strenuous movement for you, either. Your internal organs have dried up, hence making it so that drastic movements can tear through them. Caulfield is already facing the effects back there."

MC winced at Haku's description, realizing that he wasn't entirely wrong either. After all, he was pretty sure that some of his internal organs were torn, judging from how he was feeling.

'Think…' MC pondered, gritting his teeth as he held on to his Stand even tighter. 'What can I do here…'

"MC…" JoJo muttered between raspy coughs, making MC crane his head back up to see him. "Leave this… to me."

Forcing himself into a stand once more while supporting himself by his knees, JoJo took another shuddered breath to ready himself.

"Renegades."

"DORADORADORADORADORA!"

As his red Spartan Stand emerged from his side, JoJo yelled as he had his Stand quickly punch through all the incoming marbles. It had done nothing much except protect him from the marbles in front of him, forgetting the ones behind him as well.

"What's your ploy?" Haku asked out loud, then suddenly widened his eyes. "Thank you, Want It That Way. Interesting. You might be a natural enemy of the Chaos Drive."

'Wait, what's he talking about?' MC pondered. However, when he looked back at JoJo, he smirked as he understood.

All the marbles around him had shifted from spherical to elliptical because JoJo had elongated them. Now that they were flopping around him instead of spinning, they were quickly wrought off course and the effects on them died down.

"Spin works best on objects that are spherical," Haku reasoned out loud. "It seems you saw right through its weakness."

"Not… really that hard…" JoJo spurted out, wiping away a drop of blood on his lip. Slowly walking ahead, he summoned Renegades again. Quickly having it charge up aura on its fist, he yelled out, "Elongate Space!" while having his Stand punch straight ahead of him.

Haku smirked as he found himself pushed further away from him. As JoJo ran through the elongated space while ignoring his own stomach tearing, allowing the elongation to carry him forward, Haku quickly jumped away from him.

'I see his plan,' Haku pondered. 'Want It That Way already read into it. He's making use of the elongation to thrust himself forward once it fixes itself. I will keep away from being attacked by moving away from the incoming threat and charging up another dodgeball with Chaos Drive, just to keep him down.'

As Haku stopped jumping back, judging that he travelled far enough back, he grinned knowing that he had this in the bag.

However, once he felt another hand on his shoulder from behind him, he paled.

"Day One!"

"KIAIAIAIAIAIAIAI!"

Haku found himself violently losing control of the Chaos Drive on his hand from the abrupt attack from behind him, that JoJo, and consequentially himself, hadn't expected. The rapid punches from the enemy Stand were strong enough to shoot him forward, just in time for space to recompress. Haku unknowingly let go of the now discharged dodgeball once he saw the Joestar soaring right in front of him once again.

'Shit,' Haku realized. 'I've lost, haven't I?'

"Yes," Want It That Way whispered in his ear. "You have."

"DORADORADORADORADORA!"

Once the two ensured that Haku was officially out for the count, they both turned to each other with smiles on their faces.

"Damn," JoJo said. "Thanks for the support man. I hadn't expected that at all."

"We're a team, dude," MC replied, still gripping onto his chest to keep himself from getting too hurt while moving. "I've got your back."

Grinning, JoJo was about to laugh but quickly got interrupted with another bout of coughs.

And suddenly, MC heard another source of loud coughs as well.

"You think…" Haku said, blood dripping from his lips. "You think… you've won?"

"Yeah," MC slowly said, limping over to him. "It was a good fight, but we won."

Haku suddenly started smirking, but then lost it once he coughed again. "Y-You're wrong," he muttered softly as he laid his head to the side. "I… I fulfilled my purpose… I won… not you… I won't let you win… you damn womanizer… poor excuse for… Perfect Human…"

And as he said that he drifted away into unconsciousness.

"Do you think he needs to explain that again?" JoJo asked, frowning down at his body.

"Yeah, I think so too," MC said back.

MC and JoJo managed to find their way out of the school and to the emergency meeting point, dragging out Haku's unconscious body after MC used Load Save to reverse Wallace's influence on him. Finding themselves outside and recoiling from the sunlight for a moment, they quickly gave the excuse that they were caught in a stampede from the earlier ruckus. The nurse quickly went over to them to check on them while the then arriving firemen entered the building.

Luckily for both of them, MC's and JoJo's ataxia had reduced to a concussion by then. The nurse quickly prescribed them to bedrest for a while and advised them to not undertake any strenuous activity. Haku, on the other hand, had to be hospitalized due to the numerous cavity-like injuries on his body. The nurse couldn't believe that those injuries were caused by a stampede of all things, but since she had no other option, she ended up accepting that as the answer. After all, there was no other reasonable explanation for his injuries other than a stampede of elephants.

As MC and JoJo stayed outside, resting on the freshly mowed grass of the lawn since there were no beds out there, the principal quickly announced that it was a false alarm and that there was no fire. With a loud groan, JoJo slowly stood back up, leaving MC to gape at his sudden recovery.

"I just used my Stand to fix my organs," JoJo said, leaning over him. "You're too inexperienced for this, so I'll do it for you." Pulling out MC's phone and removing the cover, he quickly stuffed the material into his mouth. "Bite down on that. I've got nothing else."

As Renegades phased through MC's body to reposition all his organs, MC yelled into the cover in his mouth because of the sudden agony he felt. In a few moments, he found that the feeling shifted to severe discomfort because he had never felt something touch his internal organs before. And a few moments after that, MC could slowly let the squashed cover in his mouth loose, since he could breathe much better.

"There you go," JoJo said, now moving away from him with Renegades returning. "You still have that concussion, so just be careful with your movements."

Nodding, MC slowly stood back up. He faltered midway as he felt his headache spike, but it died down as quickly as it came, letting him continue his task of standing up.

Now standing aside JoJo to look at the students moving back into the school, MC couldn't help but let out a chuckle.

"What is it?" JoJo asked, turning to look at him.

"Nothing…" MC muttered, slowly rubbing his temples to ease himself. "It's just… we're almost there. We just need to stop Wallace and we're done."

JoJo paused for a moment as well, but then smiled as well. "Yeah, I guess so," he said, looking back at the entrance again. "Then I can fulfil my legacy. We'll be done with it all. You can finally go on a date with Sayori as well."

MC laughed, once again remembering that long-overdue requirement for every relationship, but then froze as he noticed something amidst the crowds.

JoJo blinked as he noticed MC's odd reaction from his peripherals. "What is it now?" he asked again, frowning at him.

"That's…" MC said, lifting a jittering hand to the crowd. Looking at the direction he was pointing, JoJo saw a girl playfully acting out something to a group of friends around her. A girl with raven hair and a black pirate eyepatch on her left eye.

"Sachiko…" JoJo recognized, paling as well. "What is she doing here?"

"I have no idea," MC responded. "I thought we told her to stay away from school."

JoJo supported MC by his shoulder as he carried them both to the girl in question.

"Sachiko!" MC yelled out, making the girl turn back to face them with an inquisitive look. "Why are you here?! I thought we told you to skip school today!"

Sachiko blinked upon seeing them, and gingerly placed a finger on her chin. "Umm… who're you?" she asked. "And why are you interrupting me while I'm going to use a Body Flicker?"

JoJo blinked in surprise at Sachiko's reaction. He quickly turned to MC, hoping for an answer.

"Naruto reference," he answered the unasked question, making JoJo nod in approval. "Anyway, Sachiko, stop playing dumb. We told you that you can't be here, right? Wallace could find you again!"

"Wallace? Like, the student president?" Sachiko asked, sporting the same confused look as earlier. "What the hell are you on about? And tell me who you are first, at least!"

MC gaped at the girl, not understanding why she wasn't remembering anything.

"Listen," JoJo said, summoning Renegades as he spoke. Quickly, he used the Stand to hover a punch over Sachiko's face. To their surprise, however, Sachiko hadn't flinched at all.

"Do you really not remember?" he asked. "You fought against Natsuki yesterday with Imagine Dragons. MC here freed you and you told us about Haku."

Sachiko suddenly grinned. "Oh wow, you guys are enlightened too?!" she asked, beaming at the two of them.

MC suppressed a groan at the girl who thought that they both were Chuunibyou as well. "Can you see this?" MC tried asking instead while pointing to the Spartan Stand in front of her, feeling a new tension building up in him as he regarded the girl in front of him.

"See what?" Sachiko asked, quirking a brow in confusion. "Ooh! Is it some kind of ability you're using?! Please, tell me about it!."

At that point, MC found himself choking on his own air. 'She… she can't see Stands either?' he found the weight in his chest rising at the prospect. 'Why? Why can't she see Stands? How did she lose Imagine Dragons? How did she forget us?'

"Ah, crap. Well, I hope we can fight sometime later!" Sachiko said, turning back to the entrance and seeing her other friends calling her. "I gotta head back to class now. See ya!"

As Sachiko skipped away cheerfully, MC found that he couldn't breathe again. His concussion making his head pound loudly, he dropped to his knees to try and regain control of himself. He briefly noticed the nurse running up to him again, frantic about both of them standing up so early, but barely registered it as he found his world darkening out.

A/N: I'm sorry this chapter took so long. I hadn't come up with a direction for it until recently. Also, I completely forgot about implementing Spin or Hamon somehow, so I just made a person who could use both.

Also, Holy Shit, this chapter brought out my inner Araki. Seriously, Chaos Drive is super complicated. A mad mashup of the concepts of Spin and Hamon, with Chaos Theory, Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle and so much more. It's absolutely wild. Hell, I'm half convinced that the concept of Chaos Drive could be used in quantum physics. But I'm not a physicist, just a wannabee engineer. So, I'm not an expert. But, if you're not convinced, then think about what a transverse wave that spins along the center line could mean. My mind first went to EM waves, btw. The sheer chaos of the movement had me convinced that Chaos theory was involved as well, save for the interference points of this weird standing wave. I even thought about how this could be applied to atoms and realized that this chaotic movement could even explain the Uncertainty Principle to some extent.

As mentioned before, I'm not an expert. I could be entirely wrong about all of this. But this is fiction, after all. It doesn't really matter.

But other than that, this chapter was pretty average in the end. Pretty depressing to think about, seeing how the story is nearing the end, but I'll try to pick up the pace soon enough.

Also, this chapter is a point of no return for me. I've made a decision that is certainly going to make you guys mad. I won't elaborate, but it's for the good of the story in the end. Just understand that.

Anyway, side note. I actually thought of a Stand for Saitama in One Punch Man. I'm not going to turn this into a story anytime soon, but I'm adding it here because I thought it was funny.

Review!

IzuOchaShipper99: Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is. It's one of the best Stands I came up with (I'm pretty sure I say that for every Stand I make). Also, about Wallace's ability, your pretty close. However, you just need to take it in a different direction.

Anyway, that's all for now! I'll see you all next chapter!
