Chapter 31: The Way Ahead

"MC!" Amy called out, noticing him at the end of the pavement. She was about to jog up to the boy in question, but she was stopped by a hand placed on her wrist. Looking to the side, she found that Elyssa, who was walking with her, had stopped her.

"Guide me to him as well," Elyssa said, making Amy smirk and nod. As requested, Amy grabbed Elyssa's wrist and pulled her along with her, allowing her to lift her white cane away from the ground.

MC smirked as he saw the two incoming girls and walked up to them as well with a curt wave. "How's it going?"

"Terrible," Amy confessed. "I never knew that living with a blind person would be this hard."

"I already told you that I could have helped you with the chores," Elyssa retorted. "It may be difficult for me due to my condition, but it is entirely possible once I understand the layout of the house."

"Do you, though?" Amy asked. "I mean, you just came out of a goddamn book yesterday. Do you really know where everything is?"

"I had seen your home once MC had entered it, while I was in the Breach."

"Okay, a book character who's blind saw my house from an alternate dimension. Not creepy at all. Anyway, forget about the chores, I don't mind doing them all. Why in the world did you sleep with your lights on?"

"Had I not mentioned this already? I did not know that the lights were on."

"Well, you want me to foot that energy bill?! Seriously, I wake up in the middle of the night to get a drink of water and you, like an idiot, forget to turn off your lights and close your door. I really didn't need that light flashed in my eyes, goddammit!"

"Upon leaving my room, weren't you the one who was supposed to turn off the lights? You very well knew that I had no need for them."

"Oh, come on, how was I supposed to realize that?!"

"Okay, both of you, stop," MC interrupted the two. "School's about to start, so we should really get a move on."

"You are correct, MC," Elyssa said. "We must proceed with the day. Although I am not sure if I am a student here still."

"You had a bag in your room, of course, you're a student," Amy said while rubbing her temples. "Seriously, I know I wanted friends, but this is getting irritating. I mean, actually rewriting time on a whim is definitely fun, but the repercussions can be a pain in the ass."

MC quickly shot a knowing glance at Elyssa. The girl seemed to sense his emotions despite her blindness and smiled back at him.

"You have absolutely no idea," MC retorted with a smirk, still keeping his gaze on Elyssa.

"Right. You two are Stand Veterans. And ex-Gods, too." Amy shook her head and sighed out loud. "If you'll excuse me, us normal people have a high school to get to, so you two lords can join in if you feel like it," she said as she walked away from them and into the school grounds.

"Hey, wait up!"

"That was a fruitful day!" Amy cheered as they walked out of school. "We started learning calculus! I'm so hyped for it!"

Elyssa suddenly froze in her gait.

"You… what?" she asked. "You… are excited… to learn calculus?"

"Well, yeah! I mean, I've already covered the basics in my own time, but hearing about it from a teacher is its own experience, isn't it?"

MC slowly facepalmed. "I'm pretty sure you're the only one who thinks that way in this school, Amy."

"Yes," Elyssa added. "That must also be why your social relations are comparable to the probability of this world surviving the next century."

"Hey, shut up!" Amy yelled back at her. "And what the hell do you mean by that last bit?"

"From the outside perspective that I had; one can really see how much pollution goes on here. And I must say, it is revoltingly unfathomable."

"Geez," MC commented. "Is there a universe out there with less pollution?"

"There are, but not many. At least when compared to the others."

"How many?"

"Infinite, of course. Any choice will lead to infinity, no matter what."

"Ah, right," MC sighed as he looked ahead. Finally stepping out of the hallways and into the afternoon light, he squinted as the sun glared in his eyes, briefly masking the rows of trees before them surrounding the parking lot with the only neat ground being the road.

"Uhh, guys?" Amy spoke up, interrupting MC's short moment. Looking at the girl in question, MC found that she was looking down at her phone, her hair shadowing her eyes. "Apparently Elyssa and I've got to go to the post office today. They want me to pick up their mail."

MC blinked in surprise. "Why don't you just have them delivered?"

Amy humorlessly chortled. "My parents are absolute security freaks. They think that the delivery guy's gonna steal our mail. So, they always make me pick them up. And I guess Elyssa comes too. Worst of all, it's always late notice." She started walking away from them as she spoke.

"Well, I knew a security freak as well," MC said, hastily following her while pulling Elyssa along. "I wonder how Mitsuki is doing, by the way…"

"Dead," Elyssa abruptly put forth.

"H-Huh?!"

"The way that Natsuki got deleted was by the death of her mother at the hands of Noboru before the poor girl could even be born."

MC blinked in surprise. "Oh. Um… Holy shit. Her too?"

"Yes," Elyssa nodded as she replied. "I have hardly ever noticed Wallace using his ability to save people. Except for Adachi, of course."

"Right, he had cancer, I forgot."

"I'm still surprised at how overpowered this guy is," Amy added. "Even then, it's good to know that you can do all that as well. Speaking of, have you decided what you want to do about him?"

MC felt his throat clench as he was forced to look away. "It's… a big decision, okay?" he finally relented. "You guys are basically asking me if I'm ready to kill someone. I don't think I'll ever be able to say that I am."

Amy looked away in guilt as well. "I… guess I understand," she said. "I mean, this stuff is very different from the movies. You're not a trained assassin or whatever. I'm pretty sure you'll find it hard to kill someone."

Elyssa, however, shook her head. "MC, you cannot afford to waste time. Wallace could form his new army at any moment. You might not be prepared for him."

"I know, alright!" MC yelled out, gripping his heating head in his hands while making Elyssa falter in her gait after his outburst. "I just… I really don't think I should kill him. Isn't there anything else we can do?"

"There isn't. Your only choice is to delete him. The Perfect Human isn't here to make that choice for you, even though he would say the same thing."

MC chose to stay silent, not revealing the hundred thoughts racketing in his head.

"Well, we're here," Amy announced.

MC finally blinked in surprise as he heard Amy's words, then looked up to see the post office in front of them. "Umm… why am I here again?"

"I have no clue," Amy said, shaking her head at him with an amused sneer. "I think you just followed us here."

"Well, I guess I'm here now," MC added with a nod. "So, I'll join you two."

"Very well," Elyssa said. "You may accompany us."

MC nodded as he walked in with the two girls by his side. The Post Office seemed like a generic one. There were outlined paths strewn out before the reception with about five workers behind them, with about ten other people in total waiting in all the lines. The plastic red seats at the opposite end of the room were all but barren save for one or two people. All in all, MC expected this to get over incredibly quick due to the slow day.

"Just leave this to me," Amy said as she gestured to the chairs nearby. "You guys just sit there for now. I'll handle this."

As commanded, MC grabbed Elyssa's hand and slowly dragged her to the waiting area, letting her sit down on a chair. After ensuring that she was comfortable, MC proceeded to sit down next to her. Looking around, he oddly found that almost everyone there was casting glances at them both.

'Probably because of Elyssa's blindness,' MC theorized as he tilted his head to see Elyssa fold up her cane. Sure enough, all the other people turned away at a moment's notice and went back to their wait.

MC closed his eyes and supported his head with his steepled fingers. 'What am I gonna do about Wallace?'

As he kept thinking about it, he quickly felt a hand prod his shoulder. Looking to the side, he found that an old woman wearing a knitted sweater and slacks was smiling at him.

"Do you want some chocolate, young'un?" she asked as she held up a handful

MC blinked in surprise. 'Is this normal here?' he pondered.

"Umm… sure," he said as he accepted one of the toffees from her hand.

"Please give one to your friend too," she said, kindly gesturing forward with a smile. "Poor girl. My best friend's grandson is blind too. You're such a good soul for helping her."

MC blinked in surprise. "Well… thanks, ma'am," he said as he took another toffee and handed it to Elyssa. Elyssa smiled at the two of them as well, conveying her thanks wordlessly.

"Such good children," the woman sighed as she looked ahead. "What brings you both here?"

"Another friend," MC said while gesturing at Amy who was talking with a worker. "She had to come here to get some mail, so we accompanied her."

"I see," the lady said. "My husband is getting mail from my dear son. Such a good boy, he is. I'm so happy that he didn't forget about me at my old age."

"That's nice," MC said, smiling at the woman.

However, the old woman's smile suddenly fell. "My daughter, however, probably hates me."

'Umm… I don't need your life story right now, ma'am, I'm not going to be here for long,' MC briefly thought, not willing to speak out loud in fear of hurting the nice lady before him.

"She's supposed to be my daughter, but I sometimes think that she never wanted me as a mother."

MC silently listened to the ramblings of the lady.

"I don't know what I did wrong."

'I don't know what I did wrong.'

"Did I make a mistake raising her? Why did she want to leave so badly?"

'Did I make a mistake with how I went about saving them? Why did they die so easily?'

"Am I worthy of living if I couldn't even raise my daughter right?"

"Am I worthy of living if I couldn't save them? Can I save anyone from Wallace?"

"Wait, why are my thoughts so loud? What's going on? Who's speaking to me?"

"I know who's speaking. This is me, isn't it? Everything wrong with me."

"Sonny, are you hearing ghosts as well?"

"Yes, I am."

"They're right about everything they're saying, aren't they?"

"Yes, they are."

"Do I deserve to live for what I did?"

"Do I deserve to live for what I couldn't do?"

"MC!" Elyssa yelled out, gripping his shoulder. "This is a Stand attack! Try to find the source!"

MC blinked in surprise.

"A Stand attack? Right now?"

"Of course. After all, every Stand user is cursed, right?"

Looking around, MC noticed that there were red veins on the surface of the room.

"That's the Stand, isn't it?"

"No physical form. I cannot hurt it."

"Can I find its user?"

Looking around, he found that the people around him were either bawling into their palms or attempting to break something, either objects or other people's bones or even their own bones.

"Everyone is hurt in some way, aren't they?"

"Everyone feels worthless."

"No one can do whatever they need to do."

"No one can live without regrets."

"What kind of fucked up Stand can do something like this?"

"And what's this ability? Making someone's thoughts louder?"

"The Stand is-"

"The Stand is-"

MC quickly bit his lip at the repetition of his thoughts.

"Will I be able to speak like this?"

"Now I see how hard it is to speak when your voice is being echoed back."

"The Stand is on the surface of the room," MC managed to speak by slurring his words. "There's no Stand User visible."

"Very good," Elyssa said clearly, seemingly unaffected by the Stand, as she took off her glasses. "Third Eye Blind."

Craning her neck up to the ceiling, she opened her eyes to reveal her blood-red eyes, looking at the veiny ceiling. Sure enough, the ceiling started to crumble.

And all the rubble and the ceiling beyond started to fall on the people beneath.

"We're all going to die."

"Day One."

Manifesting Day One, MC didn't move as he willed his Stand to protect him. He briefly noticed a blonde man looking at him in surprise upon manifesting his Stand.

"Stand User?"

"Is Amy alright?"

However, MC couldn't pay much heed to that person.

Because a large block of mortar was currently sitting where the old lady once was, the ground beneath it turning crimson.

"I couldn't even save her. I can't save anyone."

"But is that right? It may be true that the girls died in the end, but we had some good times. I had saved them from their issues. And Monika."

"Monika. I haven't fulfilled my promise to her."

"But can't I save these people right now?"

"Rollback."

As MC reverted time, he found that his mind calmed down for that moment. That was why he chose to relax his mind instead of thinking of a way out of his situation.

Quickly reverting time by the standard twelve seconds, he found that the rubble started to drift back up to the ceiling and repair itself, letting everyone in the room be safe once again.

"Good move," Elyssa said the moment MC dropped his ability. "Did you see who the user is?"

"W-What is that?!" a man yelled out from nearby while pointing at MC and the still manifested Day One, stumbling away from them both.

"He can see Day One?"

"He's the Stand User, isn't he?"

"What do you think you're doing?" Elyssa said while walking to him, keeping her hands on her glasses. "Recall your Stand ability. Right now."

"Stand ability?" the man asked. "What are you talking about?"

MC looked at the-

"Disheveled blond-haired man with grey eyes, wearing a pair of worn blue jeans and an old red and yellow hoodie. His face is really wrinkled, his hair's greying, and there are bags under his eyes."

"He probably doesn't know what a Stand is."

"Isn't he like how I was once I had started out?"

"Oh yeah, I forgot about Hoketsu."

"How long has this guy had an ability like this?"

"That thing on the ceiling," MC explained, trying to stall himself from thinking anymore while controlling his speech. "Is it yours? Are you causing this?"

"W-Wait, you can see that?!" the man exclaimed in shock. "How?!"

"God, this feels weird. Being the one to do this. Although I've done it for the other girls as well."

"The same way you can see my Stand," MC said, pointing to the spirit behind him. "Only people like us can see them."

"Y-You're saying that there are others?!" the man yelped out in surprise. "There are others who are cursed like me?!"

"Cursed? Does he know what it is like?"

"To lose all that are close to you?"

"To not be able to protect anyone?"

"Or is it something else?"

"Can you please take it away?!" the man pleaded, grimacing in hope. "I can't handle it anymore! Everyone around me goes insane, no matter what I do! Please help me!"

"MC, you're going to have to help him then."

"Wait what?"

"What's Elyssa talking about?"

Without saying anything, Elyssa reached out for MC's hand and tossed him ahead, making him tumble onto the stranger's body. From the shock of the impact, both of them managed to retract their Stands.

"Oh… I'm fine now!" MC yelled out loud, glad to hear his thoughts back to normal. Similarly, he found that the other people around them were slowly coming too as well.

"MC, take away his Stand before he activates it again!"

"Take away his Stand?! How?!"

"The same way you give people Stands but in reverse, of course!" Elyssa yelled again as she tossed her cane at his head with pinpoint accuracy despite her blindness.

Wincing from the second impact, MC looked down at the stirring form of the man below him. "Day One. Enter the Breach."

As the world broke and MC held on to both the man beneath him and a free save slot on his Stand, he found that there was a red glow around the white form of the stranger. MC quickly willed his Stand into its usual strands and wrapped it around the man before him. Focusing, he willed only the red aura around him away while keeping the white form of the self within him.

Pulling his Stand away now that his work was done, he looked and admired his new work.

'That should take care of his Stand. I hope so, at least. I still don't understand how this works.'

Closing his eyes, he let himself fall back in time once again.

MC found himself in Memory.

"Huh?" he spoke out loud. "Why am I here again? I didn't want to look into this guy's head!"

Despite his words, the black colours of the white space around him reformed into what seemed like the structure of a classroom. Full of desks, chairs, students, whiteboards, and a teacher.

"Everyone, there's something you all need to know," the teacher told the class full of teenagers. Middle School, MC theorized.

"Mr Peckett, he had committed suicide last night."

The moment those words left his mouth, a collective set of gasps and murmurs were heard from the entire class.

"Isn't that like the tenth guy to do so from our class?"

"Yeah, what's going on?"

Despite all the murmurs, however, MC looked at one of the students. One that he momentarily recognized to be the same person who MC was trying to save.

"Hey Darryl, wasn't he your buddy? Hell, weren't all the dead guys your friends?" another voice spoke out, turning to the boy in question. The boy, however, gritted his teeth in frustration and didn't say anything. However, MC could briefly make out the red aura forming around him, manifesting as the veins on the roof of the classroom again.

And the chaos only got wilder as the young boy hid his hands into his arms and cried.

The scene washed away to another one, as MC saw the boy grow older in front of his eyes, his elongating face wearing down as he grew. Now being in his twenties while looking thirty, Darryl started to walk into an office within a building.

"Brando!" a man in a suit yelled out as he rubbed his head in frustration. "Get your damn report done! You know we can't lose another sale!"

"I know, sir, I'll get it done as soon as possible," Darryl replied with a slightly raspy voice that MC remembered.

"Everyone!"

The two of them along with the other people working on computers in the room turned to see another man walk into them, a hesitant look on his face.

"There is no easy way for me to say this, so I'll just get it out of the way," he announced. "Our company is nearing bankruptcy, so I'm going to have to let this department go."

MC briefly expected there to be another bout of chaos but found that everyone stayed silent while hanging their heads low in shame.

"This department was the least effective of all of those within this company, so it shouldn't be a surprise as to why I'm choosing to let you all go instead of anyone else," the man said with a barely concealed contempt. "I expect all of you to have cleared out your desks by the end of the day."

As the man walked away, MC briefly heard the sound of sobbing from his side.

"T-T-This is m-my f-f-fault!" Darryl Brando wailed as he held his head in his hands, trying to conceal his breakdown. "I-I'm cursed! E-Everyone a-around me d-dies, o-or b-becomes worse or even insane!"

However, as he was crying, the red aura around him manifested once again, making everyone else in the room break down in despair alongside him.

Once again, the scene shifted out to something new.

Darryl was walking along an alleyway while looking through his phone. However, his cheeks were sunken and his bags were worse than usual, his clothes tattered and dusty. MC had briefly made him out to be homeless.

"No acceptances still," he spoke to himself before chuckling. "Of course. I mean, I've done 15 different jobs in two years. No one is gonna want someone like that. Even my resumé is cursed, just like me."

"Hey, you!"

Darryl looked up as three men walked up to him.

"The hell do ya think you're doing here!" the man in the centre yelled out with an incredibly rough voice. "Get the hell out!" He barged ahead and kicked Darryl out of the way while the other two snickered behind him.

However, despite getting tossed back, Darryl was just muttering "Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?" over and over again.

"Huh?" the incredibly buff man said as he pulled his cigarette away from his lips. "The hell ya talkin' bout?"

"Why am I… cursed?"

"The hell if I know!"

However, the moment he tried to land his foot on Darryl again, the familiar red aura manifested around him, the walls around them developing red veins and emitting mist into the group before him.

Surprisingly, the big man stumbled and fell to the side, a surprised expression on his face as he collapsed onto the floor with a loud meaty thud.

"RAAAAAAAGH!"

MC winced as the poor man succumbed to the work of Darryl's Stand and crouched on the floor in agony, alongside the other two people with him. Darryl, however, merely looked upon the three before him with a visible sense of horror.

But then, he let his eyes trace out the bulges in their pockets as they fell unconscious.

Briefly looking around while gulping in fear, Darryl dove into their pockets and took the cash from their wallets. He was slightly alarmed to find that the big guy had a gun strapped onto his back with far too much cash and jewellery than he should have.

The only thing that did was make Darryl feel a little easier about robbing them of their belongings.

And while the three muggers laid on the ground in agony from their own minds screaming at them, Darryl Brando made his way past the alleyway, ignoring their screams.

Finally, the world of Memory dissolved to allow MC to flow back to his time in his new chosen universe. Despite the memories he had just witnessed changing before him, MC didn't pay any heed to them and chose to stew in his own thoughts.

'Darryl was cursed by Stands as well, wasn't he?' he pondered. 'I don't know how he got his Stand, but all that it did for him was destroy his ability to live a normal life. Elyssa, she was rendered blind from her own Stand.'

'I guess not all Stands can turn out like ours. The Literature Club had great Stands that helped us do whatever we needed to do. It seems that not everyone has that privilege, though.'

'And Wallace is going to make more if I don't go back in time.'

MC opened his eyes with a gasp, finding himself back in his seat.

"Are you okay, sonny?" the same granny from earlier asked him with a mildly worried frown.

"Oh, I'm good, just dozed off a little," he said.

"Um, excuse me?" another voice interrupted them. Upon looking, MC found that the current body of Darryl Brando was walking up to them. "What the hell happ-"

He was interrupted by MC suddenly standing. "Darryl! It's good to see you again!"

"Wait, how do you-"

MC immediately shoved his arm around the blonde. "Now, we need to catch up again, don't we? Elyssa, you can join too, of course."

"No, I'll just wait here for Amy."

"Oh, how wonderful," the granny spoke up from nearby with a smile. "How do you two know each other?"

"He's my dad's friend," MC said. "We're pretty close though."

"U-Uh, yeah! We are," Darryl stammered out as well, not knowing what was going on.

The old lady smiled at them, not seeing the oddness of the situation. "Then please don't let this old hag hold you back. Please, go ahead!"

Nodding in gratitude, MC dragged Darryl to the other end of the room. Upon looking ahead, he found that Amy was looking back at him with a confused expression while being supported off the ground by some people. MC simply waved her off, trying to let her know that it was all okay.

'She probably remembers what happened before the edit.'

"Okay, can you please tell me what's going on?" Darryl finally said once they secluded themselves from everyone else. "How the hell do you know my name?"

"I'll be honest, I didn't mean to see your memories," MC explained. "But I just happened to see them when I took away your Stand."

Darryl blinked in surprise. "What do you mean? Stand? What is that? And why was there a ghost connected to you-"

He suddenly froze as he felt something hold his shoulder, even though nothing was there.

"You feel that, right?" MC asked, while his Stand's arm was out to hold Darryl's shoulder. "That's my Stand. The source of my abilities. You had one too. I guess you'd call it your curse though."

"My… curse? You have one too?"

"Yes, but it acts a lot different compared to yours," MC explained. "In any case, my ability allowed me to take away your Stand ability. In other words, I just exorcised your curse."

"W-Wait, what? Y-You're not joking, right?"

MC smirked in amusement. "No, I'm not joking. Stand Users can see other Stands. The fact that you can't see mine proves that you don't have yours anymore."

"O-Oh," Darryl looked at the floor, his expression slowly morphing into a smile. Then he drove his arms around MC's body in a tight embrace, weeping into his shoulder as he did so.

"T-Thank you," he murmured into his ear with the voice of someone who had endured for far too long. "S-S-So much."

"Don't worry," MC said. "Also, you're basically in another world now. One where you don't have a Stand ability. That means that all the things that your curse did to you are now all undone."

"Are you… for real?"

"Yes, I am. That's the nature of my ability."

Darryl chose not to say anything in favour of letting his body be supported by the teenager who saved him, bawling onto his shoulder like a baby.

"I… I owe you my life."

"Just… live it the best way you can," MC reassured with some hesitation. "It's a cliché response, but that's all I need."

"Thank you."

"What the hell was that about?" Amy asked the moment they had left the post office.

"Just helped someone with Day One," MC said with a smile. "That felt a lot better than I imagined."

"I can imagine," Elyssa added with a curt nod. "Especially since I almost caved us all in with the reckless use of my Stand."

"Yeah, I certainly remember that. Wait. How do you remember that? I wasn't touching you."

"My eyes have let me transcend time itself. I can certainly remember a measly twelve seconds of extra time."

"Oh yeah. You're a God. I forgot."

Amy sniggered. "I just realized that Elyssa is basically the embodiment of Justice is Blind."

"Oh, hush you."

After sniggering at Amy's joke as well, MC sighed as he looked ahead at the illuminated sky, bearing the faintest of oranges.

"I've decided. I'm going to go back and stop Wallace as soon as possible."

"Oh?" Elyssa asked, her interest piqued. "And what brought about this change. This Darryl person, I presume?"

"Yep. He made me remember how much people suffer at the hands of Stands. And if Wallace is going to make more Stand Users, that's something that I know I will have to stop."

"Noble reasoning as always," Elyssa chimed. "I certainly do not expect any less from the Good End of the Perfect Human."

MC chose to stay silent, not know what to say to that.

"Wait, you're going to go?" Amy asked with her eyes widened in surprise and fear. "Both of you?"

"He will certainly need my assistance if he is to win," Elyssa said. "I will be asking to temporally move to Japan alongside him. I certainly hope that you can accommodate my wish, MC."

"But… what about me?" Amy asked. "Are you two going to leave me all alone again?"

Elyssa sighed out loud. "Amy Steele. Despite what you think, you do not need to remain an introvert."

"Huh?"

"Exactly. I am blind, and even I have noticed that there are a few boys in your school who have a crush on you."

"Huuuuuhhhh?!"

"What I am trying to say is that all you need to do is to put yourself out there. You're not the only nerd in your school, after all. The reason why you are secluded is mainly because of the fact that you choose not to interact with anyone."

"W-Well, what am I supposed to do? Just walk up to someone and talk to them?"

"Exactly."

"HUUUUHHH?!"

"That is truly all that you need to do." Elyssa slowly turned to her and smiled as she twirled the cane in her hands. "Amy, you don't need to worry about being alone. Your school is a good one, so do not hesitate to get to know the people from within. Think of it as training for when you will have to interact with others once you become a detective."

"Well, that was the part that I was most afraid about in the job. I, um, I guess I'll try."

"Very good. Now, MC, we need to wait for your recharge to finish before we can move back to the start of the week in Japan."

"W-Wait!" Amy yelled out again.

The two Stand Users turned to the lone non-Stand user in their group.

"C-Can we still meet up sometime? In the future?"

MC smiled at her. "Of course, we can! You're the best detective I know, after all!"

Amy faltered at MC's incredibly bright smile, then beamed back at him. "Yepperooni! I'll be waiting!"

A/N: Full Disclosure: Darryl Brando is not connected to DIO in any way. I just wanted a last name and Brando was the first one I thought of.

This chapter wasn't made with much love. I just needed to get this out of the way before I could enter the last moment of the story. That's why you'll find that this chapter is very rushed. Also, I experimented with a new writing style in this chapter because of 99 Problems. That's honestly the best thing about this chapter. Hell, I hadn't even planned to have a Stand battle in this chapter, but I couldn't think of any other way to make MC decide to go back in time and stop the guy who killed his friends.

As mentioned, the last segment of the story is coming up. I don't know if there is enough content for two parts, but I'll have to see. I will say, however, that this will be the biggest battle of the entire series. It'll be hard for me to write this in the middle of all these assignments, however, so expect it to take some time.

Review!

IzuOchaShipper99: I know exactly where to put it. So for once, I can say this. I gotchu.

Anyway, that does it for me! Sorry for this lame chapter, hope the next one makes it better. I'll see you all next chapter!
