Chapter 1: A vision of suffering

The wolves had reached paradise and it was everything they thought it was. However good things do not last forever and they longed for adventure once again. In paradise the fields were filled with lunar flowers and the sky was clear of any humans smog. The trees were tall and flourishing perfectlyand the fields were filled with prey for the hungry wolves to hunt.But though it may be perfect for the Wolves that reached paradise what of those who didn't?Hige sat at the edge of the cave they were staying in stomach growling. "Can we get some fresh kill?" He whined

"You have at least 5 stomachs don't you porky?" Tsume said punching Higes shoulder.

"Leave him alone you big bully." Blue growled coming from behind Hige in wolven form nuzzling his shoulder gently.

"It's so cute its sickening." Tsume sneered walking outside.

"Is Kiba out with Cheza again?" Hige asked returning the nuzzle from his mate.

"Yea they went out to look at the full moon tonight."

"Hey were is Toboe?"

"Sleeping under an old oak tree." Blue sighed, "Something has been troubling him lately."

"Eh he is a kid he will get over it!" Hige grinned, "Now me on the other hand I will not get over it if you don't go hunting with me!" Soon both wolves were running through the grasses of paradise finding as much food as they could…for them life was perfect.

Toboe tossed and turned in his slumber growling furiously, in his dreams he saw humans attacking him with whips and guns and he was protecting something or someone with mysterious green eyes. The pup jolted awake with a whine looking around frantically to see if anyone was there. He suddenly felt compulsive to follow a strange scent that had reached his nose, it was a female scent and it reeked off blood and suffering. He felt someone touch his shoulder and whipped his head around to see Cheza standing there.

"You seem startled Toboe." She said crimson eyes looking curiously at him.

"I Just had a bad dream was all." He said grumpily, fur on his back sticking straight up.

"It was the one about the female wolf again wasn't it?" She said petting the top of his head.

"How do you know?"

"Blue told me."

"You have been really chummy with her lately you know that?"

"Well since we are the only two girls that have made it to Paradise its hard not to be!"

"Right so are you the only two that know what its about?"

"Yes"

"So do you think it means something?"

"You know there are a lot of wolves out there in danger..we couldn't bring all of them here."

"But Cheza this one is special!" He growled, "I can feel it in my.."

"Heart?"

"Yea! Can I go and find her!" Toboe asked tail wagging back and forth ecstatically.

"You'll have to ask Kiba."

"Thanks Cheza I will!" The pup exclaimed, running to go find the leader of thier pack.

"It would seem that Toboe is curious of the outside world beyond paradise. I hope he remembers how dark it can be." Cheza sighed, running her hands through her hair.
