Chapter 29 Post Crimson Mirelands Part 1
With Adaman joining Ash and Serena, they are now walking around the Crimson Mirelands as they are going to fulfill the Pokedex and do some requests. And since Adaman believes in them coming from the future, they have decided to tell him everything about their lives in the future.
"So let me get this straight, in the future, Pokemon and humans are living harmoniously with each other. And the reason why you two are here is because you were killed by people who you thought as close friends?" Adaman asks.
"That's right. I can't forgive them for doing that...but then again, maybe not all of them did attack us with Pokemon..." Ash says.
"Sounds like you have some tough times." Adaman chuckles. "Anyway, what kind of Pokemon are you trying to catch now?"
"You seem to be cool right now with us capturing Pokemon with Poke Balls. I mean, you thought we are using Poke Balls just to be above Pokemon." Serena says.
"But you proved us wrong, and I can tell my watching your battles." Adaman says. "But then again, Irida was pretty stubborn compared to me about this."
"Speaking of Irida...I want to know if you hate her or something?" Ash asks.
"Me, hating her? Just because we are from different clans doesn't mean that I hate her, though I don't know about her. It's true that we argue a lot, but I always consider her a good rival to me." Adaman says.
"I see." Serena says. "For the Pokemon, Ash and I are trying to catch a Petilil. We were asked by one of the people in Jubilife Village that we need to show it to her."
"Petilil, huh...I suggest you can find it in the Holm of Trials." Adaman says. "They are easy to find there."
"Thanks." Ash says.
When they get to the Holm of Trials, they find a lot of water area and some Petilil are at the flowers. After that, they decide to work with Pokedex.

Hisui Dex Entry No.93 Petilil: The Bulb Pokemon: Grass-type. The leaves on its head are highly valued for medicinal purposes. Dry the leaves in the sun, boil them, and then drink the bitter decoction for remarkably effective relief from fatigue.
"It is a good thing that I have a Sun Stone, that's how you evolve Petilil into a Lilligant, right?" Ash asks Serena.
"But are you sure about that? I mean...are you sure that's how you evolve it?" Serena asks.
"There's one way to find out." Ash says as he uses the Sun Stone on Petilil, and much to their delight, they have a Hisuian Lilligant.
Lilligant's Research Tasks: Number caught:1,2,3,4,5 Times you have seen it use Petal Dance:1,3,6,12,25 Times you have seen it use Victory Dance:1,3,8,20,40 Times you've seen it use an agile style move:1,3,8,20,40
Hisui Dex Entry No.94 Lilligant (Hisuian Form): The Flowering Pokemon: Grass- and Fighting-type. Evolve from Petilil with Sun Stone. I suspect that its well-developed legs are the result of a life spent on mountains covered in deep snow. The scent it exudes from its flower crown heartens those in proximity.
"Adaman, what is the Victory Dance? I mean, I don't we've seen the Lady of the Ridge do that..."
"It is a move that boosts the offense and defensive attacks of Lilligant." Adaman replies. "And that's all."
"Okay." Serena. "Let's see what we can find in the area..."
Since it is nighttime right now, they find some Gastly and Haunter wandering around the area, so they've decided to do those two as well.

Hisui Dex Entry No.137 Haunter: The Gas Pokemon: Ghost-and Poison-type. Evolve from Gastly at LV:25. This frightful, malevolent spirit can glide through walls, appearing wherever it likes. According to rumor, victims of a Haunter's lick will wither to death day by day.
"It seems that the Professor sure gives you a lot of work to do." Adaman says. "And you even have to write your own entries as well."
"Yeah, but writing an entry isn't hard, since we know a lot about Pokemon with the help of some future gadgets." Serena says.
"Is that so." Adaman nods.
Just then, they hear a roar as they notice a Torterra being poisoned by an alpha Toxicroak. Adaman gasps, "Two Alpha Pokemon at the same time...and that Torterra seems to be poisoned."
"Wait, this Torterra, could it be..." Ash gasps as he rushes over to Torterra and takes out a Pecha Berry. "Torterra, take this."
The Torterra notices that it is Ash and he accepts the berry, and after recovering from poison, it looks at Ash and nods. "Let's do this together. Torterra, go with Earthquake."
But instead of using Earthquake, Torterra goes for Headlong Rush, and Serena says, "That is Headlong Rush...I thought that was Ursaluna's move..."
"Importantly, why is that Torterra listening to Ash's commands?" Adaman asks with confusion.
After capturing the Alpha Toxicroak, Torterra then gives Ash a body slam and nuzzles him. "I know you miss me, Torterra. And I'm sorry that it takes so long to find you."
Serena asks, "So Ash, this Torterra is yours?"
"Yeah, it has been with me ever since I got to the Sinnoh in the future, or Hisui right now." Ash smiles.
"So it falls from the Space-time rift like you, and you just reunited right now?" Adaman says, "That sure is interesting to know."
Ash and Serena nod as they start to work on the research tasks.

When they are checking the shaking trees, a Pachirisu just leaps out of it and starts to trick them a lot, and Ash and Serena have to capture it and they are having a hard time.
Pachirisu's Research Tasks: Number caught:1,2,4,10,15 Number you've caught while they were sleeping:1 Number defeated:1,2,4,10,15 Times you have seen it use Spark:1,3,8,20,40 Times you've given it food:1,2,3,4,5 Number you've seen leap out of trees:1,3,6,12,25 Number of different forms you've obtained:2 Investigated strategies for battling with Pachirisu:1

Hisui Dex Entry No.69 Golduck: The Duck Pokemon: Water-type. Evolve from Psyduck at LV:33. Its body is strong, and it has webbing on its hands and feet. Golduck can swim easily through rough seas, clawing its way through the high waves.
"Ash! Look over there! Goomy!" Serena says.
"Goomy? Does that mean Goodra is also here?" Ash asks with delight, but they don't see any signs of Goodra, and according to Pikachu, who tries to make Ash understand, that Goodra is still in Kalos in the future.
"Just great..." Ash frowns. But he is surprised to see an Alpha Sliggoo, but it is covered with a grey shell. "Wait, is that a Sliggoo?"
"It is a Sliggoo, you know about Goodra but not knowing about Sliggoo?" Adaman asks.
"I know about Sliggoo...but not that one..." Ash says.
"It must be a Hisuian Form." Serena says. "We should also try to work on that."
Goomy's Research Tasks: Number caught:1,3,6,12,25 Number you've caught without being spotted:1,2,5,10,20 Number defeated:1,2,4,10,15 Times you have seen it use Acid Spray:1,3,6,12,25 Times you have seen it use Acid Armor:1,3,6,12,25 Times you've given it food:1,2,4,6,8 Number you've evolved:1,2,3

Hisui Dex Entry No.116 Sliggoo (Hisuian Form): The Snail Pokemon: Steel-and Dragon-type. Evolve from Goomy at LV:40. A creature given to melancholy. I suspect its metallic shell developed as a result of the mucus on its skin reacting with the iron in Hisui's water.
After getting the alpha Silggoo, they decide to go back to the Mirelands Camp and find the Professor, but just before they can do that, they are stopped by Volo.
"You're a real wonder. I saw light disappearing into the space-time rift. Quelled another frenzied Pokemon, have you?" Volo asks.
"Who is this guy?" Adaman asks Serena, who shrugs, "A member of the Gingko Guild named Volo, we met a lot of times."
"We still don't know what's causing the lightning that frenzies these Pokemon...But you! You just go on rescuing them, without even a hint of trepidation! You might even change the entire course of history here in Hisui..." Volo says. "And I definitely want to be in the good books of someone like that! Let's stay in touch, friend!"
After he leaves, they find Professor Laventon and show him the Pokedex. After that's done, he says, "What's this? You quelled Lady Lilligant? Smashing! Let's head back to the village, then. The commander will be wanting a report."
"You don't mind if I come along, will you?" Adaman asks.
"Well if it isn't young Adaman, of course you can come." Laventon smiles as they all get on the carriage and go back to Jubilife Village.
Here is a new chapter, and in this chapter, Ash reunited with Torterra and find some new Pokemon in his team. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be continuing the quests.
