Primal Spy
Disclaimer: I got this idea thanks to a season 1 episode of 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' where Xander gets possessed by a Hyena. Set in season 3.
Summary: After an out of country mission, Sarah's a bit… Different.
"Okay, is it just me or is there something different about Sarah lately?" Wondered one Chuck Bartowski down in Castle during his lunch period from the Buy More.
"Oh good, I was starting to worry it was just me wondering that." Muttered Shaw, drawing in looks from Chuck and Casey.
"Well, she has been a little more intense lately but I figured it was 'cause she wasn't liking havin' to deal with lady feelings."
Chuck had to fight to keep the grin off his lips over Casey's disgust on the subject of 'lady feelings' even though he knew perfectly well why Sarah was dealing with that sort of thing. "I dunno, I don't think that would explain why she keeps sniffing me every time we're around one another." Which honestly weirded out the Nerd quite a bit!
"She honestly scared the Hell out of me the other day when she growled at me and told me there's only one male she's going to let mate with her and that wasn't me."
A surge of jealousy swept through Chuck after hearing that but did take solace in the fact Sarah apparently wasn't wanting to uhh, mate, with Shaw. Then the good Nerd got to thinking for a minute. "Ya know, this kinda makes me think of an old episode of 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' where Xander got possessed by a Hyena."
Casey snorted as he rolled his eyes. "Considering possession isn't real, I doubt its anything like that."
"Perhaps we should test her blood? There could be a clue there. If she'll let us anyway." Mused Shaw thoughtfully.
Though they may have to resort to forcibly doing so if she didn't agree as Sarah's behavior was now definitely worrisome! "You know, if you boys are going to gossip about me behind my back, you may want to do it on the other side of the city where I'm less likely to hear you three." Came the voice of one Sarah Walker.
Making the three men freeze in shock as they hadn't heard her come in! And her voice? Sounding deadly calm with a small hint of danger to it? Scared the absolute crap out of Chuck! The glint in her eyes also wasn't helping things either as it just promised nothing good! She then smirked at the trio in an unsettling manner before making her leave. "I'm not one to feel fear but that? Damn." Muttered Casey as he tried to shake off what he was feeling!
Shaw nodded as Chuck gulped and hoped and maybe even prayed some that Sarah was just messing with the three of them!
