This is set sometime after Gokaiger Episode 31, born out of my selfish desire to see the BasuMabe dancing scene that Toei was too cowardly to give, and to see Warz Gill triumphing for real at least once.

The dancing scene is inspired by a certain scene from the movie Ready Player One, while the inspiration for Adira is the real-life pirate admiral Cheng I Sao, the supreme commander of a powerful pirate confederation in China.

Oh, and I believe it came a little too late but here's a little warning...if you thought my other stories were full of craziness, oh, believe me, I'm going all-out with this one.

"So, you want us to infiltrate a lavish party and steal a...what?" Marvelous asked, himself and his crew having been summoned to the Dekarangers' headquarters.

"The blueprints for the newest advanced photon torpedoes." said Chief Doggie Kruger. It had been less than two days since the incident with the former Ohrangers and Basco, and the cops had called them over rather abruptly. "We're counting on you to smuggle out the blueprints before they can be sold to the Zangyack."

Banban "Ban" Akaza, the former DekaRed, stepped in. "The one who obtained the blueprints to sell them is...none other than Adira Ta Jolokia, better known as the Pirate King."

Marvelous looked stunned at Ban's words. "Adira? You mean...Basco's sister?"

~FLASHBACK~

Marvelous walked in on Basco looking at some holographic images—a brown-haired man, a blonde woman, and two identical children except that one was significantly taller than the other. "Who are they?" asked the boy, plopping down next to his lover.

"Me family." the brunette said, sighing. "I been born in a family o' pirates. Me dad, Cap'n Rizal, the most fearsome pirate o' 'is time." he said, pointed to the brown-haired man. He then proceeded to point at the remaining three figures—the blonde woman, the tall kid, and the short kid. "Me mom, Leona, an' me sister Adira, an' this here miserable midget be me."

"Aw, so you were pretty cute when you were little, too!" Marvelous exclaimed.

Basco only smiled, and kissed the top of Marvelous's head.

~END FLASHBACK~

"Adira's hosting her birthday party next week, and every pirate is invited. You lot are pirates too, so I figured the task would be easier for you than us." Ban said, before adding "Laila, you can come in now!"

Everyone turned their heads as a familiar half-Engine walked in, a piece of fabric tied around her left thigh to conceal the number 5½. "You!" Joe narrowed his eyes.

"She requested to assist you on today's mission. We've already fabricated a cover identity for her—Lady Lah'nde, Raider Queen of Mechania." said Doggie.

Laila swallowed thickly. Actually, this whole "assistance" thing was a deception.

~FLASHBACK~

"But what about this?" Laila asked, indicating her armored skin.

"It's barely an inconvenience." Insarn told her. "You can just say you're from the same planet as Damaras-sama."

"Mechania?" said Laila. Mechanians were a race that had long shed their biological existence in favor of mechanical bodies—Damaras was a Mechanian, she knew that.

Insarn nodded. "Your mission is to keep that blasted Shezaran and his crew from getting their hands on the blueprints. Also, since you're a crew member of the Free Joker, that technically makes you a pirate, is that not so?"

Laila shrugged. "I guess so."

"I'm counting on you." said Insarn.

~END FLASHBACK~

"We're counting on you." Doggie concluded.

"Worry not." Marvelous said, defiantly. He then turned to his crew and said "Captain's orders."

And that was how the Gokaigers ended up at Adira's flagship/mobile headquarters, the Stella Maris. Marvelous wore a golden pirate coat in place of his usual red one, and the other five were well-dressed for the occasion as well—Joe was decked out in a naval-style uniform. Luka, Doc and Gai were wearing tuxedos while Ahim wore a soft, airy pink dress. Laila's dress was made of sheer black fabric that hid almost nothing, since she usually never wore clothes. One of the perks of being half-machine, she would say.

They all surveyed the place to see any unusual activity, but all they saw were pirates. Occasionally, they would see a familiar shape decorating the party hall—a skull and a horn, similar to Basco's logo—except that the "B" in the skull was replaced by an "A". Suddenly, a voice boomed out—Presenting Her Excellency the Pirate King, Admiral Adira Ta Jolokia!

As if on cue, a young woman with long wavy chocolate-brown hair and orange-tinted dark eyes appeared on a stage—a spitting image of Basco, only with longer hair and more feminine features. She was wearing a red robe with golden accents, which gave off the impression of a suit of armor but at the same time, was very formal.

"Ahoy, all ya ladies an' gentlemen o' fortune!" Adira greeted, her sharp eyes surveying the place. Just then, a familiar brunette took the stage but for this time only, he was dressed in his finest clothes instead of that simple tunic and woven shawl. Even his hat was replaced by a gold-trimmed, feathered one. He looked like a true pirate captain.

"Onee-chan, happy birthday!" he said.

"Little B!" the female kaijin exclaimed at the sight of her brother.

Basco pouted. "Don't call me that, Onee-chan, I be not little anymore."

"Well, ye'll always be me Little B." Adira said, then turned her attention to the space monkey. "And ye must be Sally!"

"Uki! Uki!" the monkey made happy noises as the Pirate King gave her lots of head pats.

Just then, a nameless handler, presumably one of Adira's lackeys, walked over, whispered something in both of their ears, then whisked Sally away as a round floating jellyfish-like mechanism came over to the stage, and a young man, presumably one of the universe's most infamous pirates, stepped off it and extended a hand to Adira, bowing. Adira's lips, painted crimson red, curved into a sinister smile and then she snapped her fingers. Two handlers removed her robe, revealing a simple yet iridescent red dress perfect for a dance. Then Adira, with the man in tow, stepped onto the mechanism that carried them over to an anti-gravity dance floor.

Watching the dance floor swarming with guests, Gai exclaimed "We should go dance too!"

"Alright!" Marvelous exclaimed. "Let's make it showy!"

So the Gokaigers went to dance in pairs—Marvelous with Ahim, Joe with Laila and Luka with Doc. Gai had been snatched away by some alien bombshell who made him feel a bit awkward, since anyone who knew Gai Ikari was well aware that he was openly gay.

"Why do you keep appearing in front of me?" Joe asked Laila as she began swinging him around madly.

"I don't know." Laila said, then added seductively:"Perhaps it could be...fate?"

Joe snorted. "Hmph. There's no way I'm fated to be with someone like you. Even if it was preordained, I'd prefer it if you stopped trying to woo me. Although, I can't help but notice, you've got a pretty interesting shape..." His hands ran over her curves, exploring.

Laila grinned like a demon. "I'm glad. Y'know, I never found any boys on Earth that were good enough for me, and it had me believing, for a while, that I liked girls instead, but no. Zero, zip, nada. I still could not resist the siren call of the opposite sex. And I couldn't find any Earthmen that were appealing enough for my tastes, but an alien like you...it's a whole different story." She stroked his chin. "What about you?"

The Lwian sighed. "When I was in the Zangyack, there was this military superior I was in a relationship with. Zura Chirclatia. She was so strong and perfect and always...in control, even in bed and it never failed to turn me on. However, one day, she was appointed commander of a hazardous military operation, and I never heard from her ever since but still, she remains my one and only love. You remind me of her, in a way."

"Oh, so the blue boy wants to be controlled rather than be in control, eh? Too bad, because I happen to be what they call a dominatrix." said Laila as she spun him, devilish grin still in place.

Just then, out of the corner of both their eyes, they spotted Basco, with his hat off, drifting over to Marvelous. "Yahoo, Marvey-chan,", he was saying, "Let go o' 'er an' dance wi' me instead." He then wrenched Marvelous away from Ahim, much to both pirates' chagrin.

"Hey!" they cried.

"Why don't ya get down o'er there an' eat some pineapples?" Basco told Ahim, pointing at a fruit stand down below while simultaneously propelling himself and Marvelous into the center of the anti-gravity field.

"You—!" Joe yelled, and tried to lunge at them but Laila held him back.

"Uh-uh. Don't spoil the party." she said, and sent Basco a wink.

The next song choice was something Laila knew. "Old school!" she exclaimed, listening to the familiar melody as she and Joe drifted further and further away from the center.

Stayin' Alive-The London Theater Orchestra & Cast

Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk,

I'm a woman's man, no time to talk,

Music loud and women warm,

I've been kicked around, since I was born,

And now it's alright, it's okay,

And you may look the other way,

We can try to understand,

The New York Times' effect on man,

As he danced with his once-lover, now-enemy, Marvelous had to admit that he and Basco made quite the pair—everyone's eyes were riveted on them. "Oh, Marvey-chan, I know that there ye was eyein' me all the while ye was dancin' wi' 'er." said the brunette, his sweet breath on the captain's face.

"Me? Eyeing you? No! Listen up, fish-face, we might have had a thing in the past but there's no way—" Marvelous was suddenly silenced by a finger on his lips.

Whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother,

You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive,

Feel the city breakin' and everybody shakin',

And we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive,

"Shush, shush. I know ya hate me fer lyin' to ya an' betrayin' ya when ye thought we were mates. I know ya loved me. But the truth be, I loved ya too. Maybe I lied to ya about all the rest, but I really did love ya. Well, at least I loved the way I could get ya down on yer knees an' make ya whimper an' beg fer me…an' spread yer legs fer me…" the privateer whispered, running a hand down his ex's arm and then up his chest.

Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive,

Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive...

Marvelous didn't want to admit it out loud, but all that dirty talk and Basco's hands on him was turning him on. "S...shut up." he managed to wheeze out.

Well now, I get low and I get high,

And if I can't get either, I really try,

Got the wings of Heaven on my shoes,

I'm a dancin' man and I just can't lose,

Basco only laughed, then shoved him away before diving back in right between his legs, and ran his hands all over Marvelous's front suggestively. "What's the matter, luv? Ye don't want yer mates to hear what a little slut ye was fer me? 'Ow ye was so 'appy to let me do anythin' I wanted to ya, or ye do anythin' I wanted o' ya? Do ya remember 'ow I could get ya to…"

"I said shut up!" Marvelous snapped, with all the ferocity he could summon in a whisper as his hated one linked their hands together and spun him around for a bit, before letting go and doing a little twirl.

"What if I don't?" the brunette asked, the familiar mischievous glint in his eyes.

You know it's alright, it's okay,

I'll live to see another day,

We can try to understand,

The New York Times' effect on man,

"My, my, quite the catch ya 'ave there, Little B." Adira mused as she observed the two, while still manipulating her own dance partner like a puppet-master.

Up above in the DJ's perch, Sally turned the music way up loud, caught up completely in the moment. She seemed to be enjoying herself.

Whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother,

You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive,

Feel the city breakin' and everybody shakin',

And we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive,

"Ya know, ya really should respond willingly to me, luv. It'll be a lot better if ya do." Basco suggested, voice warm and sensual, still moving like sin.

Marvelous gulped, a blush creeping onto his face. At this point, he had completely forgotten about the mission when the earpiece that Ban gave everyone began buzzing. "Come in, Gokaigers! Do you hear me?"

The Shezaran sighed. He took off the earpiece and discarded it.

"Sweet Marvey-chan."

Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive,

Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive...(ohh)

Out of all the Gokaigers, only Luka and Ahim and Doc and Gai had responded to their earpieces. They excused themselves from the dance floor, and snuck out of the party hall to find the blueprints for the photon torpedoes. "Luka-san, are you sure we can crack this on our own?" asked Ahim.

"I'm a thief." said Luka. "Trust me." She then checked the bracelet given to her by the Dekarangers to see that a map had been sent, and began scanning the holographic map with her eyes. "Let's see, the treasure vaults...that's where the blueprints must be."

"Gokai Change!"

After taking down a buncha security guards, Ahim and Luka arrived at the corridors leading to the treasure vaults in no time, but there were surveillance cameras all over the place, so they had to be extra careful. "Mama Bird to Eagle One. Status report, over." said Luka as she attempted to contact Doc.

"Eagle One to Mama Bird. All clear up here. Nothing unusual to report. Everything A-okay. Over." said Doc from the main control chamber while Gai provided lookout.

"Doctor, we're on our way to the treasure vaults but our path's ridden with surveillance cameras. Can you please disable them?" Ahim asked.

"Hold on..." Doc replied, then quickly disabled all the cameras. "Now!"

"Alright!" said the girls, and dashed towards the door. Luka opened the door with a key card she stole from a security guard she took down earlier, and behind the masses of riches and artifacts, the girls found a treasure chest, protected by laser grids of all shapes.

They jumped, ducked, and made a buncha funny poses to get through them. Luka used her GokaiSaber to break the lock and opened the chest, to find the blueprints inside. "Eagle One, this is Mama Bird. We have found the blueprints, over."

"Alright, over!" Doc replied. Ahim and Luka quickly made off with the blueprints, to the main control chamber where they picked up Doc and Gai.

"Marvelous-san, Joe-san, we have the blueprints!" said Ahim, attempting to get in contact with the other two but all she received was static.

"Oh, shoot." Luka said.

"I'll go back to the party hall with Gai and see what happened." said Doc. "You, get to the Galleon!"

"Alright!" said Luka and Ahim as they dashed off.

Doc and Gai arrived at the party hall, and took one of the transport mechanisms to join Joe and Laila on the dance floor. "Joe-san, Laila-san, we have the blueprints!" Gai exclaimed.

"Oh, really?" Joe said, smiling.

"That's great!" Laila said, but inside, she was thinking What should I tell Insarn now? She'll most definitely be furious...

"Luka and Ahim have them, and they are on their way to the Galleon right now." said Doc.

"I'll go get Marvelous." said Laila, as she floated away to find said Shezaran and she found him, still being led around by Basco. "Ahoy!" she called out, drawing the attention of both men.

"Ahoy!" Basco replied first, recognizing Laila.

"What do you want with us?" Marvelous said.

Laila floated on closer, and pulled on the red captain's arm as she whispered in his ear:"Our work here is done." She then told Basco "I'll be borrowing him for a while!" before hauling Marvelous away.

The brunette sighed. "Well, as disappointed as I be, looks like I'll 'ave to let ya go fer now. Until we meet again, me love."

Joe, Laila, Marvelous, and Doc and Gai returned to the Galleon. They found the blueprints lying on a table, but Ahim and Luka were nowhere in sight. "Hey, bird, did you see the girls?" asked Marvelous.

"They're locked in Ahim's quarters." Navi informed them. "I am not getting into that. It's part of the code Lukahim. I also have code BasuMabe, code LaiJoe, and..."

"Hey!" Marvelous yelled. "I told you to get rid of that code ages ago!"

"Navi, I admire you, but you're miscalculating. Laila and I are not dating." said Joe.

"We'll see about that, Marvelous." said Navi. "Oh, and Joe, you say that, but who knows?"

Leaving the boys and the bird to argue, the girls were deep in the throes of passion, their bodies practically melting against each other, tongues and fingers sliding into best kept secrets, their soft moans and gasps reverberating around the room.

Meanwhile, Laila contacted Insarn while concealing herself in the shadows. "Insarn, I'm sorry. I failed."

Much to her surprise, the voice that came from her wrist was very gentle. "It is of no concern. The Earth invasion is already on the way. Thanks to Adira and the blueprints, we were able to successfully lure the pirates away from Earth so we can conquer the planet in their absence."

"That's...wonderful, I guess? See ya later..." said Laila before ending the call. Why did she feel guilty? Yes, she rightfully should be, she was a Super Sentai Warrior's daughter, for crying out loud! True, she became a privateer just for the heck of it, just like how her soul-brother Machalcon went out of his way due to years of neglect. But why did she feel guilty? Did she...actually get attached to the Gokaigers, to Joe? No, it couldn't be.

She shoved the feeling into the back of her mind, and walked out as if nothing had happened, keeping a smile on her face.
