The Trouble
With Aliens
Disclaimer: This is a crossover idea with 'Stargate: SG-1' and yay for 50 chapters of this fic!
Summary: A lot of the time, John Casey hated dealing with Aliens.
A lot of the time when Colonel John Casey of the NSA had to deal with Aliens courtesy of the Stargate Program, he hated it. Not because it didn't feel right or because of Prejudiced feelings, but rather because quite a few of them could be arrogant jackasses that kept things close to the vest. In particular, this was usually when he dealt with the Tok'ra. A group that he and Major General Jack O'Neill both shared a few similar opinions on for that matter. Hell, quite frankly, it made the Gun Enthusiast prefer the company of the Buy Morons over the Tok'ra. Something he'd only admit under Torture of course but he had to be damned close to dying before it'd come out of his mouth! "Are you sure you know what you're doing? This design is rather new after all." Asked a Tok'ra by the name of Klesh.
Making Casey frown in annoyance. "I'm aware of that but I did the time in studying the design so I know what I'm doing. After all, a gun is a gun, even if its from another planet."
"A rather simplistic view, I would think."
"Pretty much what I was going for." Grunted the man.
Hoping it would clue the annoyance on to the fact he didn't want him around! "I do not believe Anise would approve."
Casey rolled his eyes. "And the day I care for what 'she' thinks is the day I retire. Which is a long ways from now."
Though preferably he'd die in the line of duty rather then retire. More dignified and noble that way in his view. Wisely, Klesh kept quiet after that and several minutes later, Casey would have the new weapon design put together. "Now, to test this thing."
"Should we not go to a weapons range for such a purpose?"
"Hah, no, that's what the cement block's for."
"I had wondered what that was doing here." Though in hindsight, Klesh felt that he should've asked long before now.
Ignoring Klesh in favor of the anticipation of seeing what the weapon could do and grinning eagerly all the while, Casey activated it after aiming properly at the cement block and the resulting shot saw to it that the cement block was little more than dust. "Oh, I like this a lot."
Seeing the look on the Tau'ri's face made Klesh rather nervous! "Yeah, I like this thing a whole lot." Casey declared enthusiastically after firing on another cement block.
Oh what have we done?
Yeah, Casey hated dealing with those like the Tok'ra, but damn if it didn't occasionally have perks!
Author's Notes: Heh, that was fun!
