Part 7

Disclaimer: Thought it was finally time to add another part to this!

Summary: Chuck got the go ahead to let Lou in on things.

A week after letting Graham and Beckman in on the fact he's an expecting father with one Lou Palone and Sarah's subsequent displeasure over the whole thing culminating in a confrontation at Lou's sandwich shop that was thankfully non violent, Chuck was given the go ahead to let Lou in on things. Albeit, he couldn't exactly tell her about the Intersect for her own safety but he was given leeway to be creative on why the Government couldn't leave him be to his own devices. Deciding to tell her after bringing her to the new home the Government had kindly chosen to provide them was something Chuck also thought would be a great idea. That, and why exactly it was a 4 bedroom house instead of like a 3 bedroom one. To say Lou was shocked by what he'd told her was perhaps understating things, as since telling her he was under Government protection after witnessing a high ranking officer's death and that occasionally forcing him into helping his Handlers out in the hopes of catching his killer, Lou had been quiet for roughly half an hour. Something that honestly had started to concern the good Nerd.

Especially as Lou wasn't exactly a quiet type of person! "Uhh… Lou, you, you okay?"

Slowly, Lou turned her attention towards him and she let out a breath. "I got into it with a member of the CIA!?" Exclaimed the young woman, making Chuck rear back a bit.

Unfortunately, that didn't stop him from getting punched in the gut however! "And you let me do it!?"

"I didn't exactly let you, Lou!" Protested the man as he kept his arms in front of his stomach!

Not wanting to get punched there again, thank you very much! Lou's eyes widened and she hit him on the shoulder much to his chagrin. "THAT'S EVEN WORSE!"

Chuck watched as the mother of his child paced back and forth, muttering to herself while readying himself to hopefully dodge another punch in case she decided to hit him again over the revelations he'd unloaded on her! "Okay, fine, so Sarah's CIA, no big. I can handle that because she's not that tough at the end of the day no matter what she thinks. And you're practically enslaved to the Government because of what you saw, I can handle that too."

"I wouldn't say that I'm en-never mind!" Decided the man after she glared at him!

Even causing him to take a step back for that matter too! "But uhh… Can you handle the fact that she's gonna be living with us since that was a non-negotiable thing?" Chuck asked of her in a nervous manner.

Was best not to mention that Casey would be nearby too just yet. Though why Sarah had to live with him and Lou was beyond Chuck as it didn't really make sense to him! Not having a clue for that matter that Sarah had practically insisted on it, citing security and safety reasons for why she needed to live with them. And again, not knowing that Casey had make cracks on it, both in and out of Sarah's hearing. Lou fixed him a look. "Yeah, I just bet it was a non-negotiable thing." Muttered the expectant mother under her breath.

She just bet that the Blonde wasn't willing to take chances with the idea of herself and Chuck living together and used her connections to ensure she would live with them so that something couldn't happen. Hah, well, if it does happen, she can't stop it, damnit! Still, might be fun to push her buttons.

One might say Lou was suicidal with that line of thinking. Cautiously, Chuck spoke up. "So… A 'yay' for this place and the lack of having to worry about bills and such?"

"I'm still a Large Mart girl, but… Yeah, sure. But uhh, give me a few days to deal with all this and then I'll be ecstatic." She told him after a minute or two of silence and then having to fight the urge to grin over his pout about Large Mart.

"You got it. But Large Mart? Come on, now!"

Rolling her eyes and losing the battle to not grin, Lou walked off to go and see what room was the best for her to claim.

Author's Notes: Heh, that was fun! Next part may involve either Jill or good ol' Bryce.
