The Trouble
With Aliens
Part 2
Disclaimer: I got to thinking about it after somewhat re-familiarizing myself with the 'Predator' franchise and I realized it would make for a fun sort of sense that Casey would have familiarity with the Yautja race. So not only crossing with 'Stargate' but 'Predator' as well.
Summary: If there's one Human the Yautja respect the most, its one John Casey.
While it was true that John Casey disliked dealing with a lot of the Aliens that were met courtesy of the Stargate Program for one reason or another, there was at least one race he actually did like the most. One that he had actually met before being brought into the Stargate Program and this race being the Hunting race known as the Yautja. A race that even the Goa'uld tended to avoid due to how dangerous they were even if there had been rumors that Anubis and even Ba'al had been making inroads to enslaving members of the Yautja. Those in the Stargate Program after they had learned of the Yautja hadn't been too thrilled about them and their habits but due to what their focus is, had pretty much left it alone despite a few rumblings. Leaving others to deal with the Hunting race and one John Casey being one of those. And he'd certainly been both the Hunter and the Hunted where the Yautja were concerned over the years.
He also, though without meaning too, had made a small hunting party become devotees of Ronald Reagan to the point they called themselves the Reagan Clan with Casey as Clan Leader due to his having taught them of Reagan. There was also some rumblings about this but it wasn't from the Human side but more so from some members of the Yautja. As it is, Casey hadn't even said a word about the Clan to any fellow Human as he knew it'd cause one Hell of a headache and it was the last thing he wanted to deal with. Though he did feel that Walker would make a great member of the Clan due to her skills but at the same time might have an issue due to certain things that was done. Like the hunting of sentient life like Humans for example and the whole skinning thing. Now currently, thanks in part to the Stargate and a homing beacon, Casey and the Reagan Clan were on a planet that was covered in darkness 80 percent of the time with the goal of gaining some trophies from one of the more dangerous elements of the planet's animal life.
Naturally, they were also there during its regular dark period, making it so they would have to rely on tech to see what they were hunting. It also provided an extra element of danger and thrill to the hunt but neither Casey or the others of the Clan minded that. "Alright, everyone, let's do this." Declared Casey eagerly.
The other 5 members of the Clan let out roars of eager approval and soon, the hunt was on.
Author's Notes: Well, that was fun!
