Wheels We Trust
Part 2
Disclaimer: I kinda thought linx007 in particular would enjoy this and set in the early days of Chuck having the Intersect.
Summary: Unkind comments about his MC is something Chuck's not willing to stand for.
The sound of flesh connecting with flesh unexpectedly filled the air as one Major John Casey found himself on the ground. "Chuck!" Admonished Agent Sarah Walker.
"No, Sarah, I may be able to tolerate a lot of things but his remarks about the DM MC aren't one of those." Chuck told her coldly.
The man had been steadily getting fed up with the Major and his comments ever since the Government had chosen to place him, Casey, and Sarah as a team together thanks in part to the Intersect he now had in his head. Which had given him a whole new reason to feel hate towards Bryce Larkin and for him to want to kick himself repeatedly for stupidly looking at that email he'd been sent by him. Even the others in the MC had agreed he needed a good kick or two in the ass after he had told them the situation despite the fact he wasn't supposed to do that whatsoever. But he trusted the Dungeon Masters MC way more than he did the Government, especially after basically being forced to work for them thanks to the damned Intersect and they had yet to know the MC was aware of what was going on. "Heh, didn't know you had it in you, Bartowski." Sneered Casey as he stood up and wiped away blood from his mouth.
"You keep insulting the group that kept me from going down a bad path and you'll see what else you didn't know I had in me, Casey."
Casey stared him down and Chuck was unwilling to back down until the bigger man finally nodded with a hint of respect. "Duly noted, Bartowski. I'll keep any comments to myself."
"That would be highly appreciated." Coldly replied Chuck before walking off, ignoring Sarah's calls for him to come back.
"Kid's got a good punch."
"Casey."
"What? He does. And more backbone than what I thought he did as he knew damn well I could've taken him down but he still punched me anyway."
Sarah stared the man down for a moment before shaking her head and walked off. Leaving Casey on his own as he spat blood on the ground. "I may have to see a Dentist now." Muttered the man to himself.
