Summary- Katara and Aang haven't seen eachother in about 8 years. I guess it was destiny and fate that worked together for them to meet again. It is just that they meet in a very odd way.
The group had split up 8 years ago. Sokka went back to the southern Water Tribe, Aang was finishing his duty of being the avatar, and Katara decided to go around the world looking for adventure. Katara was on her way to
Ba Sing Sai when she saw a large group of people gathering around a person. She decided that it has to be something good otherwise there wouldn't be that many people. She went over to the crowd to see what they were there for.
Then she heard a masculine voice of a person who was singing. She went to see who it was and realized that it was...Aang.
Aang wasn't looking in the audience and kept a steady face while he sang.
"I wanted you to know
That I love the way you laugh.
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain away,
I keep your photograph
And I know it serves me well
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain
Because I'm broken
When I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right
When you're gone away
You're gone away
You don't feel me in here anymore." Katara was stunned and shocked that he loves her. She didn't know what to say. So, she sang the next part where a girl is to sing. She stepped out of the crowd and sang. Aang then realized that
she was Katara and he didn't know what to say. So, he let her sing the part. And beautifully might I add.
"The worst is over And we can breathe again I wanna hold you high You steal my pain There's so much left to learn And noone left to fight I wanna hold you high and steal your pain." Aang held his hand out to her and pretended that it was a part of the show. Now came the part where they sang together.
"'Cause I'm broken When I'm open And I don't feel like I am strong enough 'Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome And I don't feel right When you're gone away
'Cause I'm broken When I'm open And I don't feel like I am strong enough 'Cause I'm broken When I'm lonesome And I don't feel right When you're gone away" It now was Aang's turn to sing again and Katara was content that she had done an excellent job.
"You've gone away You don't feel me in here Anymore."
The crowd around them was either screaming, clapping, or both. After what seemed like forever for Aang and Katara, they left the new couple alone. "Well Katara, I guess that now you know how I have and will always love you. I know it's been a long time since we have been together. You probably are married, have children, and--". He didn't get to finish his sentence because Katara kissed him. "I love you Aang. No I'm not married nor do I have children." "Well thats a good thing because I have been searching the entire world for you to ask you a very important. Katara...Will you marry me?" "Yes."

I am SOOOOO Sorry for not updating any stories for a long time. I just got really destracted. I am working on the next chapter for TheFight. I will get the chapter up as soon as I posibly can. Give me reviews and it will motivate me to get the next chapter up. R&R Review!
