Things are firing up now! Which is ironic considering the amount of water involved!

Crap puns aside, I hope you enjoy. xD

"John, I feel like I'm losing my mind."

"So what's new?" John chuckled at the distressed tone in his older brother's voice as he observed the electronic weather charts spread across his control panels.

"I've got a bad case of cabin fever and all I seem to be doing is calling you all. I don't want to bother Virgil any more because he's still stewing over Gordon, and so is Alan."

"Aren't you?" John asked his brother earnestly, knowing Scott's tendency to worry over his siblings more than a healthy amount.

"I'm trying not to think about it." came the strained response.

On hearing his brother's stressed tone, John immediately stopped what he was doing and initiated the live video feed to Scott's watch. He popped up on screen and saw Scott's exhausted face firsthand, complete with dark bags under his eyes as his forehead glistened with sweat.

"Hey… are you alright?"

"I've been better. It's just so stuffy in here."

"I know what you mean, to a certain extent."

His comment brought a small smile out of his older brother, making John feel better.

"I honestly feel like it's bringing on a fever. I can't wait to get back home and dive into that pool. I bet Gordon-" he stopped himself, turned his head and let out a sigh.

"I'm sure he's fine, Scott. He's in his natural environment. If anyone can get out of a jam that bad, Gordon can."

"I hope so, John. For all our sakes."

John silently agreed. It was a morbid thought, but he knew if they lost Gordon, it would kill them.

John certainly knew he wouldn't be able to live without him.

The atmosphere was electric. The ravenous applause echoed throughout the church as the grand Titan made his elegant entrance, arm held up to command a steady wave at his subjects.

Gordon looked over the sea king thoroughly, observing his purple and green outfit and green mesh cape which arched over his shoulders. He was wearing a pointed hat sat atop his silver-skinned face, which sported a greenish beard. To Gordon he looked a little bit like a goblin, and the idea made him smirk to himself.

"Bow for the almighty Titan!" X-20 commanded, watching as the majority of the audience abided his words. Seeing that the humans had refused to bow, the creature gestured over to the nearest guards who jabbed their weapons into their sides, forcing all three to bow.

As Titan passed Troy, he regarded him with a cruel smirk. He stopped at the edge of the aisle, enjoying the man's restrained anger. "Well Tempest, it looks like we meet again. Attending a wedding together too, of all things. Could you have ever imagined this scenario occurring?"

Troy stood up, glowering at him. "You engineered this whole thing, didn't you? You told that prince about us, about Marina, and about Stingray."

Titan laughed at his accusations. "Why of course I did! I made a deal. A trade deal. Marina for Stingray. She is still my property, after all."

This time it was Phones' turn to speak up, anger lacing his usually calm features. "You had no right! Marina is her own person and she was never yours! She's a joint resident of Marineville and Pacifica - this is a complete farce!"

"Calm yourself, Sheridan. You have no say in this either. Marina will be wedded off, and I will be taking your submarine as my royal yacht, as well as the bright yellow submarine I laid eyes on earlier this eve."

This remark snapped Gordon back to his senses. From the corner of his eye he saw Troy and Phones shoot each other a curious look. Feeling his own anger growing, Gordon cried, "Hey, wait a minute, you can't do that!"

"Oh, can't I?" Titan cackled. "I believe we haven't been introduced, young one."

"Yeah, that's right." Gordon glared at him, deciding not to reveal his name.

"The boy is called Gordon Tracy, sire." Anath appeared behind them, a wide grin plastered on his face. Gordon glared at him as the servant continued. "I overheard his conversation with Tempest in the dungeon earlier and contacted one of our land agents for more information about him. I discovered he belongs to a famous family on the surface world."

"Oh really?" Titan turned to Gordon, a quizzical expression on his face. "Do enlighten me."

Gordon paled, too stunned to say anything.

"His father is a billionaire. He's worth billions and billions of our marine marks! He'd make a profitable hostage I'd say, sire."

"I'll consider it-"

"You'll consider nothing! Let us go!" Troy roared, diving for Titan. He was quickly pulled back by the guards and winded by their weapons. He fell onto his knees, Phones looking him over.

"A pathetic display, but no matter. You'll be dead soon. Enjoy the wedding, terraneans." Titan grinned, continuing to walk down the aisle until he made it into his royal booth.

Gordon bit his tongue.

A few moments later, Prince Aquanas walked out of the rear entrance, wearing an emerald dress suit with shimmering purple scales. He made his way up to the altar and nodded at the sea creature who would be performing the wedding ceremony, both looking back towards the door.

The music pitched up a key and Gordon figured this meant it was Marina's turn to walk out. Troy and Phones figured the same thing and looked back at the entrance arch in anticipated anxiety.

A few moments later, a veiled Marina, adorned in a beautiful white dress shimmering with all sorts of undersea jewels and treasures, walked out under the arch, head held high, contrasting her slumping shoulders which betrayed just how uncomfortable she was feeling.

Marina passed Troy, Phones and Gordon with a solemn grace, refusing to turn back and see how upset her friends were. She could practically sense Troy's anger boiling over from where she was standing.

The princess continued her way up to the altar until she was facing Aquanas. In the background she could see Titan's gloating smile. Her eyes wobbled and soon tears were threatening to spill down her flushed cheeks. Aquanas removed her sparkling veil and leched at her unrivalled beauty.

"At last, we can begin." he grinned.
