Warrior's Honor
Raging, surging, unleashed violent fury
Heart pumping iced blood, eyes flashing murder
Hairs standing static, electrified
Fight, fight until you can fight no further.

Slice, slash, control the sword, the slay is yours
Pivoting, ducking, dodging deadly blows.
It is like a dance to the sound of death
A waltz of warrior souls and savage foes.

Seeking honor in this baneful bloodlust
In extinguishing life's precious light
A flickering light too ephemeral
To overcome the shadows of the night.

The shadows that creep and crawl through the heart
That cloak man's virtues, making man animal.
Pity him from whose fear was born the beast
Wanting only life and dying after all.
