Issues of Quirk Compatibility

Chapter 10: Vaguely Important Fluff

In her search for the power to surpass All Might, Endeavor turned to a Quirk research lab. Little did she know that this would usher in the age of the Heroine and dating by statistics. What's a quirkless hero to do in a world like this? Make your Vows Izuku; Massive Gender-bends, Deku/harem, Crack with Plot.

Izuku and his class are aged up by about four years, so they are 19-20. Need to get those hormones pumping at full.

Anyway, the gist of this story is that Izuku makes his hero's journey in a world where almost all pro heroes are women, and he's a prime steak slathered in fan-service. Either that, or it's a deep and thoughtful examination of the objectification and empowerment of female super-heroes by the reversal of traditional gender roles. You'll see as it goes. Beware of Crack and other absurdities. But for now, On to the Story!

-U. A. Harem Suite-

"Fumi Tokoyami, Dark Shadow's host,

darkness spirit, hidden for love,

and craver of forbidden…

Shapeless of many shapes, The Queen of the Taboo.

Tempt'r to Defilement.

Her world- Debauchery! Indulge the flesh!

Primal de'sire, empowers life,

And needs be chained- a master

to drown in purer pleasure…

I her host, the conduit

of her corrupting shadow,

and the neck that collar wraps!"

An uncertain silence settled over the gathered girls of 1-A before Ochako started clapping. "That was a really good poem, Fumi!"

Kirishima scratched the back of her head. "That was a poem?"

Mina hissed something to her friend before turning back to the group with a smile. "It really is deep how you compared your quirk to a villain, 'cuz you just have to beat both back! It is weird how your quirk fights your control, though. I mean, it's your body, your quirk, it does what you want. I've never heard of any quirk running wild, even with Double X. Closest I can think is that crazy firestorm and hurricane from those quirk awakenings.

Tsuyu sipped her tea as she looked back and forth between Katsu and Ochako. "Actually, aren't you two the ones who had the quirk evolutions?" Izuku felt himself start to sweat just a little bit as the pieces to fall into place in her mind. "Isn't it weird how all three of the girls who had uncontrollable bursts of power are all Izuku's girlfriends?"

Shojo tried to discreetly apply a little fire to her toenail polish to make it dry faster. "Izuku is someone worth fighting for. It's only natural that we'd get stronger."

The frog girl took another sip. "… Or maybe its just that the girls who got the power-up are some of the only ones strong enough to catch his attention. Though I wouldn't be surprised if Shojo started dating him for the chance of a power boost, being Endeavor's daughter and all."

Izuku cut into the conversation out of sheer protective instict. "Shojo isn't Endeavor! I wouldn't be with her if she just wanted a power-up."

The frog girl tilted her head, something that might be amusement glinting in her eyes. "Why are you dating her?"

Katsu answered before anyone else could even open their mouth. "He's got a white knight complex a mile wide, and Icy-Hot was acting like a locked-up princess."

Shojo's blush was all the confirmation the rumor mill needed. "That's not important. We're married and I'm taking Izuku's name!"

There was a moment of silence as the information sunk in and the other girls realized what that meant.

"YOU'RE ALREDY MARRIED?!"

-U.A. Nurse's Office-

"I don't know what kind of 'Sparring' you boys were doing," "but it looks like it was way over your heads." "Knives and blades are restricted for a reason;" "it's way too easy to kill or seriously maim someone if you're using a knife."

"Tell that to Kamakiri. She's the one with the quirk." Monoma felt rather proud in his alibi. It wasn't uncommon for him to wind up in the nurse's office the first time he tried copying a girl's quirk. His body simply wasn't adjusted to the drawbacks that came from a 2X quirk. Sometimes he pushed too hard and got more than he expected, other times he got hurt by the drawback. This wouldn't be the first instance of both.

"You were still the one using it! You went way past your limits! Those cuts on your faces are gunna' leave permanent scars, you know. That doesn't happen with just a little backlash." The old nurse fixed the two boys with a stern glare as Filis and Blanka left the room to restock on supplies. After a long moment she slammed her cane down. "Now, are you going to tell me how you really got hurt, or am I going to hospitalize you for excessive quirk strain?"

"It was the Hero Killer! We encountered him while we out in the city, and he nearly executed us for daring to compete with Midoriya!" Kuroiro had his explanation out before Monoma even opened his mouth. "I believe that the young idol is colluding with Stain to remove his competition and increase his popularity!"

There was silence for a moment before the old woman started chuckling. The chuckle quickly transformed into a full blown laugh as she struggled to calm herself down. "You obviously don't know Midoriya. The boy's a good planner, but he's still a terrible actor. Imagining Izuku as an evil mastermind manipulating villains… Heh, It's more likely for All Might to be a Quirk-stealing Overlord!" She broke down into another fit of laughter as the two boys looked at each other.

It took a few minutes for Recovery Girl to calm down, especially once she explained it to her granddaughters. The topic only turned serious once Vlad Queen arrived with Principal Nezu on her shoulder. "Two Questions: How are you doing? Who did this?"

Recovery girl was the one to answer. "Your boys are as healed as I can get them. They ran into the Hero Killer, and he made sure to leave some scars, but they're clear to return to class..." She looked over at the boys with a sharp gaze. "… At least, if they still want to try and be heroes."

The silence was oppressive, and only broken by Nezu's overly cheery clap. "Good job on surviving an encounter with a killer. You can let me know if you want to remain in hero course as you join me for detention." The headmaster cackled at the boys' looks of disbelief and horror. "You aren't the first students to go out in costume before you had your license. While it is legal for a hero academy student to own a costume, wearing it off campus without a supervisor is a crime. But I think we need to figure out just how foolish you were before deciding a proper punishment, won't we."

The students had to repress the urge to shiver at the unrestrained glee in the headmaster's voice. It was only at that moment when they realized how lab rats felt in the middle of running a maze.

-Harem Suite-

"TODOROKI, YOU LUCKY BITCH! How could you betray us all like that!?" Minori Mineta was consumed with righteous fury at the perceived betrayal of all womankind. "You didn't even give us a chance before you stole him for yourself!"

Izuku tried to deescalate the situation. "S-Shojo didn't steal me! She's not being selfish at all! She even made sure that Katsu and Ochako's marriage forms were filed first!"

The second the words left his mouth, Izuku knew he had only made the situation worse.

"BAKUGOU AND URARAKA TOO?" The grape pigtailed girl slumped down in disproportionate despair. "It's not fair. Why do some girls get to be so lucky…"

Mina patted the small girl on the back before starting her own rant. "YOU DIDN'T INVITE US TO THE WEDDING! And Ochako! You didn't tell us either! You didn't even give us a chance before you swooped in and tied the knot! I expected something like that from the Bomb-dere or the Ice Princess! Where's your sense of competition?! Explain yourself!"

Shojo looked confused, and Katsu looked murderous, but at least Ochako looked slightly apologetic. "Umm… It just kind of happened? We were going to get married after we all got our licenses, but All Might pulled some strings since 'Zuku's his apprentice, and Katsu said that we were definitely going to get married anyway, so what would it matter if we did it early, and Aizawa said we would have to have our own rooms if we weren't married by the end of the month, an' Endeavor wanted to know what sex with Izuku was like but we couldn't answer because we weren't married yet, an' we were going to have a ceremony at the first break 'n invite everyone, but the invitations aren't done yet, 'n..."

Mina blinked, wondered if she was overreacting, quickly decided that overreacting was more fun, and turned on Fumi. "What about you? Are you secretly married to him too?"

Tokoyami put on a very convincing act of being cool and aloof. "We have been bonded by a vow, and as my master it is his decision on how to use me."

Izuku practically threw himself off his couch to keep the raven-head girl from saying anything else that would be misinterpreted. His blush was atomic as he tried to figure out how to explain everything without sounding crazy. "I-It's not what it sounds like! We're not married, not yet! I mean, she's cute, and I'd be happy to marry her, but I want to get to know her better, and let her hang out with the girls, and get their opinion. There was just quirk stuff! Quirk stuff that I had to help her with! I made a promise to help her control her quirk, right Fumi?"

The girl nodded. "You saved my soul, Master: It is your right to decide what to do with my body. I would gladly serve as your wife, or a concubine, or your naughty maid and wet-nurse, or even as the defiled receptacle of your lusts."

Izuku slightly regretted letting her speak as his face nearly exploded from the force of his blush. He waved at his girlfriends for some kind of help, not trusting his voice at the moment.

Ochako completely misinterpreted his non-verbal cry for help. "I say she marries! Fumi's nice and fun to play with, and makes really funny jokes! Plus she needs more family so she won't be sad anymore!"

Shojo looked over the raven headed girl. "If Izuku is certain that her Quirk spirit won't be an issue, then I have no reason to object."

Katsu looked like she was about to explode before her choker started to glow. "I wuv my Izuwu an' want him feeling warm an' fuzzy, so I can't just steal all his snuggles!"

Shocked silence settled over the entire group as everyone stared at Katsu and tried to decide whether to attack her as an impostor, or run away since her mind had obviously just snapped.

Katsu decided for them. Her hands lit up in series crackling explosions as she turned the full force of her glare on all the girls in the room, "If any one of you extras so much as think of telling anyone about… that, You're fucking dead."

Despite the death threat, the room was actually drain of tension. Tenyako Iida pushed up her glasses with a serious expression on her face. "Katsu Bakugo, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. It's perfectly natural to have a soft spot for your husband, and many males enjoy their partners acting cute from time to time."

Katsu growled at him but didn't say anything, giving Izuku a chance to try and get things under control. "So, umm, I guess Fumi is going to join as well, and we'll let you know when we plan to have the ceremony?"

"if you're getting married," Yaoyarozu's small voice spoke up from a corner of the room, "My parents' company makes a lot of synergy boosting stuff for couples and harems. Do you… want to try one?"

"Ooh! Ooh! We can all do it together and it will be like a girl's night bonding experience!" Mina was jumping up and down in excitement, and blatantly ignoring Tenyako's attempts to calm her down. "We can all pretend that we're getting the Cinderella treatment and see which of us is the most compatible with Izuku!"

Katsu almost snarled. "There are other guys, you know!"

"But Izu has the biggest dick!" Mina piped up from the floor, "The other guys in our class don't even count as men. Ojiro is dickless, Aoyama is obviously gay, and Sero thinks that Sakura is best girl."

Katsu slammed her hands on the table, letting off a booming explosion. "Sakura? Best girl? He needs to go die in a fire!" She crossed her arms and pouted. "Fine. I'll let you all pretend you have a chance with Izuku since all the other guys in class are stupid, useless, or gay."

Izuku had no idea how the conversation had gotten so off track. "I'm pretty sure Aoyama is interested in girls. He was staring at Iida's butt when they were teamed together."

Tenyako shifted a little in her seat. "He was looking at my costume. He even saw under my skirt, and just said that we had the same brand." Silence filled the room as no one was quite sure how to respond to that statement.

"I managed to find one that is intended for a mix of married and prospects with one male." Yaoyarozu fiddled with some setting on her phone. "Do you mind if we use the television for this? Everyone will need to sign in with their phone and it's easier if there is a central screen that everyone can copy from."

Kirishima almost leapt up from her place on the couch. "That's the sign for a snack intermission! I'm totally going to break out the jerky and wings!"

-Nezu's office-

"I made tea for you! Drink up! Drink up! I wouldn't want you to have a dry throat as you tell all about why you think U.A. has a four year program before our students graduate and become independent professionals!"

The two boys sat shivering in the principal's office, completely struck with the fear of the dog bear mouse thing that seemed to already know all of their dirty secrets.

Monoma broke first, "We weren't ready. We overestimated our abilities and failed to properly prepare. We nearly died because of our hubris in thinking we were better than trained pros."

Nezu took a sip of tea and leaned forward. "Loosing to the Hero Killer isn't why you're in trouble. The only reason you'd be mad you lost is if you went out hoping to win. You're doing a bad job of hiding what you did; you two were supposed to be the most cunning in your class!"

Kuroiro tried to back peddle. "Our intention was to find Minor villains to acquire live combat training as we heard Midoriya experienced. Calamitously, we were ambushed by the Hero Killer and quickly incapacitated."

The principal lets out a small chuckle. "Much better. Admitting a fault that fits the evidence, while not seeming nearly as foolish as your actual plan. And it might actually have worked if you hadn't argued about your plans for the surveillance recorders to pick up."

The two boys froze as the implications slowly dawned on them.

"Now, I need some help deciding your punishment. Would you prefer to wash your hands of everything and leave the school, face continual internal humiliation until you surrender your pride, or undertake a journey of community service and self-improvement in addition to your classwork?"

-Harem Suite-

There were times in Izuku's life when he had to wonder if his life was really just some trashy harem manga. This was one of those times.

Almost all the girls had changed into skimpy pajamas, snacks engulphed the table and the arms of the couches, and the girls were in the middle of a various wrestling matches to decide seating. Katsu and Shojo were already possessively clinging on his left and right sides, Ochako had claimed his lap, and Fumi decided that the most comfortable place was perching on the back of the couch with her thighs around his head.

"It's pretty simple really." Momo was given the responsibility of explaining it, since she was one who came up with the idea. "It's a survey with a lot of questions that are really important for couples to agree on. You have to answer what you think, and whoever is close to Izuku's answer wins that question. The girls he isn't dating get 'compatibility points' and the wives get 'favorite points.' The closer to Izuku's answer, the more points you get. The more points the better, and whoever has the most at the end wins first choice for date times. Each question a person is randomly selected to read what they have before Izuku reveals his. Is everyone signed in?"

Everyone nodded and waited for the first question

[You just got your first paycheck. What percentage of it do you save?]

About half of the group relaxed, while the other half froze like they just realized they stayed up all night studying the wrong subject for a test. A timer in the corner of the screen started counting down as all the girls put down their answers.

[Times up! Let's see who gets to answer!]

A spinner appeared on the screen, and eventually landed on Jiro. The girl blushed a little and stood up. "My parents taught me on the 50, 30, 20 scale. 50% of your money goes to needs, 30 to wants, and 20 to savings."

"That's what 50, 30, 20 means?" Izuku had gone pale as his answer was revealed. "I thought you were supposed to save the fifty."

[The winner from the Prospects is: Tsu = 30%]

[The winner from the Wives is: Katsu = 50%! Perfect Synergy!]

Everyone looked at Katsu in surprise, but she just flipped them the bird. "We'll have more than enough money between Deku's idol revenue, and my paycheck as the Number One Hero. It'd be stupid not save plenty for the future, so lick it bitches."

Izuku quickly slipped his hand over her mouth before she got any more out of hand. "He-hey l-look, the next questions up."

[You just got home from a long patrol shift with your spouse, how do you relax?]

[It's Yaoyarozu's turn to share!]

"Well… I think I'd ask for a massage, and then to snuggle in bed for the rest of the night."

"No Way! It's gotta' be a Kung-fu movie, on the couch, with cheap takeout!"

"I'd prefer watching All Might, Kero."

"Don't give away the fucking answers, you damn extras!"

[The winner from the Prospects is: Tsu = 85% correlation]

[The winner from the Wives is: Katsu = 100% correlation! Perfect Synergy!]

"Wow! Katsu got perfect answers twice in a row!"

"Lucky Bitch, getting to sit next to Izu… She's probably cheating."

Katsu punted the grape girl across the room. "We've been all but lovers since we could walk. It's only natural I know all about my man."

[Top three Things you want to try in the Bedroom]

[Lightning confession round!]

Minori shouted her answer from where she had stuck to the wall. "Bondage, ball smothering, and that hentai-logic stretchy lube stuff from quirk labs."

Toru eagerly put in her two cents. "I like public sex. I think I also wanna try watching and being watched."

Momo stated hers like a matter of fact. "Food sex was always something that intrigued me. I'm also looking forward to having children and enjoying Izuku's skills with his tongue."

Mina slung her arm around the rich girl. "Come on Yaomomo, those last two are things he'd do anyway. Live a little! Get eaten out while you're doing paperwork or something!" She sprang up to her feet and struck a pose. "I want to spend my first day off in mutual edging with Izuku. That night, he'll fill me up, then I'll seal myself up with a plug and do the next day's patrols with the naughty thrill of knowing I have my man's essence inside."

Kirishima looked like she just failed a test. "I just said wrestle, watch my favorite action show, and cuddle."

Rikiko Sato shrugged her shoulders as well. "My first thought was breakfast in bed."

Tsu's facial expression didn't change as she made her statement. "My tongue is really sensitive, So kissing was my first choice. Other than that, I'm interested in cosplay and Roleplay."

Katsu put her hand over Izuku's mouth before he could speak. "Our top three are Cosplay, specifically hero costumes, then Roleplay, heroes and villains, and then hand holding."

Izuku bit back a groan. He could see where this was going to end up…

-295 Questions later-

Izuku let out a long slow sigh. Somehow it seemed like everyone else but him had fun, throwing out answers and finding out new things about their classmates, even Katsu enjoyed the chance to shove her relationship with him in the other girls' faces. But for him it felt like an interrogation and just reminded him of how little he really deserved any of these girls.

A puff of warm breath on his ear shocked him out of his thoughts. Katsu was pressed into his side, the hearts in her eyes glowing brightly. "I didn't agree with you on all those questions by accident." She cooed in his ear. "I love you. I love you and want to stay with you forever. It doesn't matter what you think you lack, I'll never stop loving you." She placed a kiss on his cheek, before turning away with a blush.

Izuku was frozen at the unexpected show of care from his childhood friend. It was soon joined on the other side by Shojo leaning in. "I don't care synergy says, you're the only one brave enough to stand against Endeavor just for my sake. I love you."

Katsu glared at the half and half girl. "I love him more."

Izuku did his best to hold back tears as he just basked in the moment and held his bickering girlfriends.

But, of course, the moment didn't last. Mina stood up in the middle of the group of girls with a manic grin. "Ladies, I have an idea. There's no hard limit on how many people can go on the Hot Spring date, so I say we all claim to part of Izuku's Harem and celebrate his first wedding at the Hot Springs this weekend! We'll go shopping tomorrow, check in Friday, and have all of Saturday for the Spa! Who's with me?"

A general chorus of cheers went up from the girls with overruled exceptions from Yaoyarozu and Iida about lying.

Then Ochako raised a question that made everyone stop. "What should Tsu get for winning?"

Pandemonium erupted as every girl had their own idea of what it should be, and sometimes more than one. It seemed like every possible idea was thrown out, from an autograph to a ring, a private concert to moving in with them.

Izuku just stared in bewilderment as all the options were thrown at him. There were a few that he would shoot down, but they were coming too fast for him to process. "TSU SHOULD CHOOSE!"

That made everyone immediately go quiet. They stared at Tsu, waiting for her to make her choice. She put a finger up to her lips for just a second before speaking. "I want to know you decide who gets to be in your harem."

A deafening silence filled the room as Izuku realized that all of his wives had essentially fallen into his lap, and his life was very much a bad harem manga. "Umm… I want everyone in my family to be able to get along, and after I surprised them with Fumi, I want to be more considerate, so… I'll let them decide who I should date?"

All the girls stared at him in disbelief. Izuku hung his head, internally berating himself for being so stupid and not thinking things through.

Then Mina spoke. "That is the most adorable thing ever! You really do love them!"

Tenyako nodded along. "It makes sure that no one feels left out, and makes sure that everyone is treated fairly."

"But…" Izuku tried to gather his thoughts. "That's not fair to Tsu… She didn't really get an answer to her question... She should get something more special…"

The girl in question didn't seem at all disturbed. "You did tell me everything I wanted to know, Kero. But if you aren't happy, how about another question? How did you get so strong without a quirk? You're almost as strong as All Might!"

The boy froze. "Umm, part of it is support from Katsu and Ochako and now Fumi, and part of it is kind of like… chakra?"

Kirishima perked up. "Like ninjas? Can you make shadow clones like Reruto's great grandpa? Wait, didn't Fumi do that during the training exercise? Is she a ninja too? Is she training you?" She gasped as something clicked in her mind. "You said Fumi was helping train you, and Katsu and Ochako, so does that mean… THEY'RE ALL NINJAS?!"

Izuku was slightly pushed back by the force of the enthusiastic girl's shouting. He put his fingers together in a famous cross shape, half to appease Eijiko, and half out of eagerness to try out his new ability.

For one awkward second, he realized he still had no idea how to summon the clones, when Fumi gently took his hands and placed it against the floor. He felt something solid as his hand came in contact with his shadow, and followed the instinct to pull.

Izuku was overcome by vertigo as he felt him pull himself up to a standing position. He blinked as he stared as his own face through two sets of eyes. He tried to speak, but the only thing that came out were shocked murmurs as he tried to wrap his head around simultaneously speaking through two mouths. He tried to move, but the confusion of controlling multiple bodies sent him stumbling to the floor. "This has to be the most inconvenient overpowered ability ever."

As Izuku mourned the uselessness of his new ability, he could at least take comfort in that fact that his humiliation had a limited audience. Most of the girls fainted at the thought of what multiple Izukus could do to them.

One of the Izukus faded away into wisps of shadows as the boy sighed and prepared to haul all the girls back to their rooms for the night.

-Next Day, Heroics Class-

"BEHOLD! I AM HERE… in my old Bronze Age costume!" The famous hero burst through the door with the enthusiasm as the previous day, but this time another voice trickled through the door.

"Oh my! You're so forceful! You absolutely ravaged that poor door." Midnight strutted into the classroom as All Might attempted to get back on his script.

"Right, so, umm… Does anyone know why I changed to the Silver Age design?"

Katsu answer without hesitation. "You said in an interview that you wanted more color in your costume, and you also made a joke about how easy it was for the cape to tear off."

The hero gave a small cough at getting a response to what was supposed to be a rhetorical question. "Yes! Costumes are part of your identity, but you have to remember that they are tools first and foremost! They help people identify you as heroes, help them feel safe, and can even have some support gear built in to help you save people or beat villains! Now that you've had your first chance to fight in your costumes, we're going to be giving you some pointers on some revisions that you might want to make!"

"We want you all to try new things to see what you enjoy, before anyone else has to know about it." The class tried very hard to ignore the innuendos Midnight slipped in.

"Right! Midnight will be teaching the girls in design room Alpha, while I'll give the boys some tips in room Beta!"

-Design Room Beta-

"I'll keep this short so you have time to visit the support workshop before club activities." All Might fiddled with a projector for a bit until he was able to get the slideshow properly started. "Everyone's quirks, builds, and specialties are different, so these will be good ideas and things to think about, rather than ironclad rules. The first rule is to always remember your goal when you serve as a hero! Your ultimate mission is to keep people safe, and that means more than just defeating villains! Most of your time will be spent patrolling and helping civilians, and it is essential to design your suit with that in mind!" The power point flashed up a cheesy picture of All Might posing with a group of civilians. "Whether in patrol or battle, you must inspire confidence and a feeling of protection!"

-Design Room Alpha-

Midnight opened the door to the room with a beaming smile and gestured towards what seemed to be an entire boutique's worth of shoes, dresses, skirts, corsets, brassieres and an absurd amount of lace and ribbons. "Welcome to the walk-in closet of your dreams! Before I let you go to try on a little of everything, there are a few things I need to say." She casually lounged onto one of the waiting couches that would give her a view of the entire room. "Being a girl means that you'll have more competition than the boys. You'll have to work harder to stand out, and that starts with your costume. Your costume is the first thing that people will see, and it needs to give people a clear idea of who you are. Are you skilled and cool, cute and caring, sexy and powerful, or some mix of the three? Are you taken, or looking for a man? Are you confident enough in yourself to go out on patrol in heels, knowing you might have to fight in them?" All the girls had to resist the urge to rub their legs in sympathetic pain. "This is a competitive world, and if you want to stand out, then you need to look like you're strong and sexy. And your costume is the first part of that."

-Design Room Beta-

"Now, I can't very well talk about costumes without addressing the big three classics of the earliest heroes: Tights, Trunks, and the Cape!" a hand drawn picture of Superior Man clearly displayed the famous three elements of his costume. "They might have somewhat fallen out of favor in recent years, but they can make for a striking image!"

-Design Room Alpha-

"There are Three popular elements that many heroines use to highlight their femininity: The Battle Bra, Combat skirt, and Hero Heels. They used to be novelties until Quirk Labs and 2x changed what power looks like. Now they're almost expected as parts of a Heroine's costume! After all, 2X has side effects, and it's your costume's job to turn those curves into a weapon!"

-Beta-

"The tights, or Spandex, are the most popular at the moment. They're light, great for patrols, give freedom of movement, and they're cheap. It can give a flattering outline, but you have to have yours specially tailored to properly bring out your best features."

-Alpha-

"Battle Bra, Breastplate, Chest piece, Girl Guard, or Cleavage Catcher: No matter what you call it, it's your girls' best friend. After all, chest binders might have worked for some back before 2X, but now that C is the healthy minimum cup size, we need something better. With mass production, Battle Bras are cheap enough that even civilians use them as sports bras. They give you plenty of bounce without back pain, can be incorporated into almost anything, have adjustable levels of support for patrol, fighting, posing, flirting, and even paizuri setting for the bedroom. They give you such a flattering outline, but if you want really want to emphasize your assets, you need to get one specially tailored."

-Beta-

"Next is Trunks, or as some jokingly call them, underwear on the outside. Their origin is from before the Dark Age of Quirks, but we know that they were meant to help cover a… specific bulge that was considered inappropriate. In modern times the focus has changed from covering that bulge, to emphasizing it. Either way, it makes for a classic look."

-Alpha-

"Combat skirts were originally designed to give a girl's modesty more protection, but it merely made a forbidden fruit out of what other heroines showed openly. Nowadays, most girls use it to add a little extra temptation. Even at the worst of times, it gives much easier access for a quickie, and some plausible deniability."

-Beta-

"Finally is the cape. It's a staple of many top-level hero costumes, but it can easily get in your way. The videos make it look like the cape always flows gracefully behind you, but the reality is that it often gets caught on things, tangled up, or whips into your own face. But the reward can be even greater than any problems. A cape makes you look bigger and stronger, thus helping to deter criminals and inspire civilians. In combat, it can be used to blind or misdirect opponents. You can even modify it to help with hundreds of different situations! Personally, I feel that the best use for them is that they can be given away easily, especially as a comforting blanket for frightened children."

-Alpha-

"Finally, High Heels. It's been a staple of many heroines' costumes, just for the sexiness that it brings. You can get all sorts of upgrades and modifications for them, from springs to spikes to hidden compartments. But the greatest reason for using them is confidence. You're telling every potential villain that you're so strong and confident that you can easily beat them no matter what they try, and you can do it while strutting in your sexiest heels and showing off for the boys! Now get out there and enjoy your youth! Grab a boy and show him how much of a woman you are!"

There was half of second of confusion until the girls heard All Might's voice booming from next door. "Speeches are no match for experience though! The rest of the day is time for you to brainstorm and meet the support students who make your costumes! I'll leave you to it, So Get out there and keep going Plus Ultra!"

Katsu was the first one to process what their teacher meant, and she rocketed out of her seat to grab Izuku, with Ochako, Fumi, Shojo, and Tsuyu not far behind her. The rest of the girls soon formed a stampede behind the four, trying to be one of the lucky few that got to have a "second opinion."

The remaining three boys saw the approaching horde. Ojiro fled in the face of such an unopposable force, and Aoyama froze, but Sero bravely turned and offered himself as a sacrifice to give his friends time to escape. Truly a noble sacrifice.

-Quirk Labs Support Workshop -

Ochako stared in awe at the otherworldly building in front of her. It was almost the same height as the main building, looked like it was carved out of a solid block of some iridescent metal, complete with windows that she was 95% certain were actually giant diamonds. "Wow! I didn't know that Quirk Labs had a whole office on the campus!"

"They don't. It's only named after them since they gave a large donation along with my recommendation." Shojo accidentally let her irritation seep into her voice. "Endeavor passed it off as an apology for the trouble my cousins caused the school, especially since the youngest just joined the support course."

"You guys are shit at being moral support." Katsu scoffed at the other two girls as she casually dragged Izuku behind her, with Tsu holding his legs. "You're casually talking about your crazy cousin and Izuku is about to have to face whatever insanity she has."

Tsuyu tilted her head. "It can't be that bad, it's just a support student."

Izuku just shivered. "You don't understand! One wrong word and I'm 'in breach of contract' spending the entire day being tested and sampled, forced to pose for calendars covered in grease stains, and being given another round of synergy boosting drugs and treatments." Another shudder passed over his body. "They watch me even closer than when I'm on stage! At least there's some space there! In the lab it's just the pink haired girls and "Ara-Ara"s and marshmallow hell!"

A boy with pink hair and a flying blue cat burst out from the door they were about to enter. The two groups stared at each other for a second before the rose headed boy spoke. "Shojo! Why didn't you tell me you knew Ara Ara?"

The tension shattered as Katsu broke out in hysteric laughter. "You're related to the Walking Disaster Dragneel? How the hell do you still have such a stick in your ass growing up with the guy who leveled the whole stadium five times in one Sports festival?"

Shojo ignored her cousin's protests claiming that no one died. "Endeavor only allowed me to interact with the Hatsumes if Auntie Miku had a new invention. Supposedly their insanity was too dangerous of an influence." She glanced over at her cousin. "Endeavor didn't want me fined, expelled, and banned from the property like them."

The clunking of metal made the boy's face pale as Power Loader burst out the hole in the front door. "DRAGNEEL!"

"Gotta run! Tell Mei I said hi!" With that, the boy took off like a bullet with the hero in hot pursuit.

Shojo looked on with a neutral expression. "I always forget he's the sane one of that family…"

-Work room L0C0-

The pink haired demon didn't even flinch when Katsu announced their presence by kicking open the door. The office was already cluttered with blueprints for projects, parts for projects, and all the pictures from Izuku's dozen or so Gear-boy photo shoots. Mei herself was the same as ever, pink dreads that somehow managed to avoid the dark oil that smeared her clothes, her favorite goggles hiding the manic gleam in her eyes, and no sense of personal space.

"Did you use my Baby? Did it work?" Mei was groping around his chest as if that would be able to tell her something. "I went through over a hundred different formulas before figuring that shield gel. It didn't even explode most of the time!"

Katsu snapped forward with a sudden intensity. "You mean you gave him something that might explode? What's wrong with you?"

The mad genius wasn't even phased. "It's a work in progress. I was trying to make something that would explode on command so he could transform into his costume instantly, but the shield gel is almost as good. It's hydrophobic, thermally insulating, enhances pheromones, conducts electricity across its surface, looks great on his abs, hardens in response to physical trauma, and can even be used as lubricant!"

As Izuku waited for his brain to respond, Ochako leapt into the conversation. "Lubricant? Can I get some of that for my butt?" Izuku's brain short-circuited and had to restart. "My patrol costume is so tight it's hard to get on."

Shojo was coughing into her fist, Katsu was cackling, Tsu was quietly ribbiting, and Mei was very seriously examining the bubbly girl's figure.

"I HAVE A REQUEST FOR A COSTUME ALTERATION!" The boy probably didn't need to shout, but Izuku was desperate to change the subject.

Mei's response was a heavy pout. "What's wrong with my baby? I did what the sheet said. I even held back on most of the improvements I wanted to make!"

Izuku tried to beat down the feeling of guilt. "I-It's just a few small changes! Like the codpiece! Just to make sure it's good with all the Hero Decency Laws! Nothing too huge!"

The girl stared at him in confusion. "But the costume is already good. I even had it checked by Midnight. She was the one who suggested the codpiece. It's still a covering, the protection is essential, and it even keeps your erection from throwing off your balance or hinder combat ability! Unless…" A switch flipped in her head and she all but tackled Izuku and started to grope his groin. "I can upgrade it and make it even better! Before I had to base it's measurements off of pictures, but now I can make it fit perfect, and add the taser function, and-"

Katsu slammed her hand on one of the workbenches, and punctuated it with aa small explosion that accidentally set off a now unrecognizable piece of scrap. She let a scoff before speaking. "Deku obviously knows what he wants, so just do it!" Hearts flashed in her eyes as her voice took on a teasing tone. "Unless this is your idea of flirting, in which case you'd better be ready to share."

Mei tilted her head as her hands wandered under Izuku's shirt. "What's flirting? And who are you?" Her voice suddenly changed from curious to aggressive. "Are you competition? I won't give up Izuku without a fight!"

Katsu flipped her ring finger with a pleased grin. "I'm already his wife, so either lose the attitude, or lose Izuku."

The gearhead paused for just long enough to steal his shirt before responding. "I'll trade you free costume upgrades for modeling time with your husband."

"What?"

"Izuku is going to be the biggest hero in the world. Everyone will see him, and everyone will see him wearing the costume I made." Her voice dropped some of its enthusiasm as a begging tone crept in. "I need to watch him working to know how to make the perfect adjustments, so my baby can perfectly bring out every muscle." She smiled at the thought and snuggled into the boy's back. "…And I feel really excited when he wears my work."

Tsu was standing next to Shojo and Fumi watching the chaos unfold. "She's got it bad. Is that legal?"

The two-tone girl just shrugged. "She's a Hatsume; sanity and legality don't matter if there's something she wants. He's safe until she figures out she really wants him."

Fumi stepped forward. "Then I shall give her an ultimatum: either properly dedicate herself to him, or surrender to someone who will. I'm sure there are dozens of companies that would be willing to buy out the contract for the Heir of All Might."

"An Exclusivity contract Like Shield had with All Might?" Mei's eyes zoomed in on the group of girls.

Shojo sighed as years of dealing with her cousin flashed through her mind. "More than that, a life-long partnership. What she's suggesting gives you a significant stake in Midoriya Modeling and his future hero agency, full access to his house, image, and body, his guaranteed participation in making babies with you, a ring and his last name if you want it. In exchange, he gets your attention, your body, the responsibility of making sure you eat, sleep, and don't accidentally kill someone, and all the time you would have wasted until you realized what you wanted. You'd be just like your mom and Uncle Enryu."

Hatsume mulled over the question. "Izuku can't try to escape out of this after it's signed, right?"

"Isn't that great Izuwu? Our famiwy is growing!" Katsu completely missed the expression of terror on her husband's face as she grabbed the pink haired girl. "You have to come shopping with us! We'll make ourselves look cute, and talk about girly things, and share our favorite pictures of Izuku!"

"But first, she must be made presentable for Master." Dark Shadow snatched the energetic girl from the fiery girl's hug. "She will require a shower, change of wardrobe, a fresh application of makeup, and possibly a tracking collar."

-Shade District-

The Huntress was the premiere Heroine focused boutique in all of Japan. It was founded by the fourth ranked hero in Japan, Best Dressed, and currently run by her older brother. Technically, it was just the back rooms of the hero agency, but the vibe that the dark back-alley entrance gave was surprisingly popular with many of the younger girls. Most reporters were scared away by the rumors of assaults, but that just left the way open for fangirls.

"O my God! Is that Izuku? Is my make-up still good? Should I put on more lipstick?"

"Oh no, his stalker's with him. I can't believe Izuku is kind enough to put up with that Hibitchcus."

"But he has other girls with him, maybe something's changed."

"I don't care, I'm going to talk to him! If I can get her to attack me, she'll go to prison and Izuku will be free."

Izuku glanced over at the huddle of girls that weren't being anywhere near as quiet as they thought they were. He remembered the ringleaders from his childhood- Rey and Ren, twin daughters with a quirk that let them transfer objects between themselves at any distance and an attitude that thought the world belonged to them. They were third years at Seiei and still couldn't admit that they weren't the top of the school.

If he didn't do anything, they'd definitely cause a scene. If he talked to them inside the shop, Katsu would notice and cause a scene. If he took them outside to talk to them, one of his classmates would definitely notice his absence and cause a scene. It seemed like no matter what, something would ruin everyone's mood.

His heroic foolishness still forced his to take some kind of action, and so he stood up and started to walk past the line of changing rooms to do whatever came to mind.

Then one of the changing room doors opened and an arm quickly pulled him inside. "Master, Dark Shadow gave me a premonition that a spirit of unease had disturbed you. If you wish it, I shall swiftly dispel the source of this pall over you."

The dramatic speech just made the boy more nervous. "They don't deserve that! I was just need to get them away before they ruin everyone's day! Everything will be fine if I can get them out of the store without anyone noticing."

"… Did you forget about Dark Shadow's gift already?"

"That wasn't a shadow clone, that was like splitting myself in two! I can't fight with that clone distracting me! I can't even stay standing!"

"You simply must learn. Your eyes must become properly accustomed to the darkness before you attempt to see through the many eyes that Shadow gives." She took his hand and placed it over her heart where Dark shadow quickly wrapped around it. Izuku closed his eyes and pulled out a perfect copy. "This is your other body, split from you as your shadow splits underneath two lights. Do not search for differences, instead focus on your tasks as you would alone."

"…Like drawing a picture, except it's two different pictures with different hands but at the same time?"

Fumi silently judged his choice of analogy, before swiftly changing her mind to decide that it was endearing. "It that helps you understand, Master. Chigiri compared it to controlling an army of marionettes. He started his training by wearing a blindfold on one body. I can make one for you, if you'd like? It would mean giving a part of myself to you…" Izuku tried to speak, but choked on the words and settled for a nod. Fumi looked away with a blush as part of Dark Shadow broke away to wrap around Izuku. "Then let us be bound fully in Spirit. Receive the Embrace of Darkness."

-Back Alley-

"Are you feeling okay Izuku? You pulled us out here without saying a word."

The boy took a deep breath before turning to face them. A shiver ran through his body suddenly, and he turned his head to look away from them. "What are you doing?"

One of the girls dramatically fainted, while the rest had faces of shock and shame. Rey reached out towards him. "Izuku… we…"

He moved to bat her arm away without even looking. "Leave it! This isn't the time!"

Even though Izuku didn't even touch her, she drew back her arm like she had been stung. A second later, she slumped to the ground, followed by Ren. A short yelp by the last of the girls drew Izuku's attention back just in time to barely dodge a slash from a familiar chipped katana.

"You're slower than before, Hero, and distracted." Stain took another half-hearted swipe, just to force the boy to dodge. "Carelessness like that gets people killed. Do I need to give you another example?"

The boy took a shuddering breath, like he was relearning how to breathe. "You aren't just some street level villain, Stain, and you wouldn't have survived this long if you took risks without a good reason. You waited and took a small group of hostages to force me to stay and save them. You can escape to the sewers or rooftops if anyone but me tried to fight you. This isn't a random attack." The young man stared into his opponent's eyes and mustered the force of his will. "Tell me why you're really here, False Hero Hunter Stain."

The killer gave a cracked smile. "Good analysis, and a decision to stall and distract rather than fight. For that, I'll pretend I didn't see the two wannabe-vigilantes from the other day trying to sneak up on me - So long as they only take one hostage each."

Kuroiro stepped out of the blackness with barely concealed fear on his face, quickly followed by Monoma doing his best to act cool. "It looks like the great quirkless hero isn't so perfect after all. Don't worry, we'll-"

A knife buried itself into the student's shoulder as Stain gave both interlopers a withering glare. "A true hero has no need to insult others. You're lucky I have more important things to do than deal with you tonight." He carelessly slung two of the girls onto his back, completely ignoring their whimpering. "Izuku is the only one allowed to come after me. No one is allowed to play hero, unless you think these fakers shouldn't get the chance. They'll be of some use to a real hero; either as a reward if Izuku can keep up, or a reminder of the price of failure."

-Inside the Store-

Izuku froze in Katsu's arms. She was trying some girlfriendly teasing, but he was acting weird, and she planned to get to the bottom of it.

She didn't like what she found.

"You aren't just some street level villain, Stain, and you wouldn't have survived this long if you took risks without a good reason. You waited and took a small group of hostages to force me to stay and save them. You can escape to the sewers or rooftops if anyone but me tried to fight you. This isn't a random attack."

Katsu stood up as fire started to cackle in excitement around her. "Stain is here? Really? Where? How much credit do you think we'll get if we help bring him in?"

"…I said that here, didn't I?" Izuku grabbed her hands "I have to keep him occupied! He has hostages and he'll kill them if I don't do something!"

Fumi placed a hand on both of them. "Do not push yourself beyond your limits, Master. Remember that each of your selves are only half of your strength or speed, not to mention that you are still learning how to properly move. A body will dissipate when it is too damaged, but the injury will flow back to you along with your strength."

"I don't have a choice. My Body Moved On It's Own…"

-Shade District Alleys-

Streaks of lightning and a dim red glow were the only sources of light as Izuku raced after the trailing scarf of the Hero Killer. He had almost stumbled a few times as his attention was on the conversation back in the store rather than the trash filled alleyways. Stain was setting a hard pace, and slowly increasing. It was rare that he caught more than a second of Stain before he turned a corner.

Izuku was flooding his body with energy, not even caring if anyone started making theories about him having a quirk. Rey and Ren were more important, and his body felt so sluggish compared to his training.

Still, it was apparently enough for Stain. Izuku was about to turn a corner when he felt Rey's body slam into him. He managed to twist enough to keep his new charge safe, but payed for it with a painful scrape on his arm.

Stain slowly stepped into view, Ren still slung over one shoulder. "All Might's heir has some tricks up his sleeve. At least you won't die to that punk's horde, but that isn't your full potential, now is it, Quirkless? I'd hate to have to kill such a promising hero for lying."

Izuku looked at his arm and remembered an old scene that his grandfather always held as the greatest fight in all of manga. "There's something that All Might told me, 'There's a difference between being lucky and being deserving: One's an accident, the other's a reward. Never get the two mixed up.'" Izuku slowly set Rey on the ground and stood up. "I was born quirkless, completely powerless in a world where everyone else had super-powers. I wanted to be a hero, but you can't be a hero without power. So I earned it." One for All Sang in his blood until he could see the aura it was creating and feel his body barely holding together. One strike would be all this body could bear. "Fourth Gate: Gate of Pain - OPEN!" One Kick, aimed to send the Hero Killer into the sky, executed in the blink of an eye, but still too slow to truly catch him off guard.

But it was enough.

As the Izuku down below dissipated into shadow, the other Izuku caught up, and was able to take advantage, snatching Ren from Stain's back and delivering a kick to send him back down to the ground.

The man gave a hacking cackle as he flipped around to land on his feet in the deepening darkness. His voice echoed through the alleyway as he seemed to disappear "Good. You'll survive just fine. You might even learn something. You have 5 days to get ready before your first real test as a hero. I look forward to seeing your work."

-Chapter 10 End-

This chapter had me stuck with writers block for so long in so many places, but I think the end result is a good development, and hopefully is long enough to be worth the wait. My Mother passed away from cancer during the writing of this, so I took a break to help deal with that.

A few things to address: First - These ain't your Dad's ninja clones. This is simultaneously much more useful, and completely useless. More durable, but less useful for taking hits. Hopefully this takes away any complaints of them being overused, and makes using them more interesting.

Second - Manga Spoilers. I will consider this revelation, but probably not use it in my story.

Third - Yes, Katsu saying Izuwu is the most terrifying thing in existence.

This chapter is over 9,000 words, so I'll finish up the preparations for USJ next chapter as the tension mounts, and his harem tries to get Izuku to relax. Hope you enjoyed, feel free to leave your thoughts.
