Not long after their amazingly confusing time together, they fixed themselves up, silently straightening out their clothes and appearance in the dark library. Not a word said, only the shuffling of clothes could be heard.

As Nami pulled on her skirt, she felt her heart pumping so loudly she feared Luffy would hear it.

Meanwhile, Luffy was zipping up his pants with creased brows, feeling slightly disoriented by the heap of emotions he felt within the last twenty minutes of being in the same room as her.

It was deathly silent, so Lufffy turned around to see what she was up to but only caught sight of her back. She was just standing there. Not paying him any mind.

Somehow feeling weird about the whole situation, he cleared his throat.

"Nami?" He called out.

She didn't even budge. Only turned her head slightly to indicate she was listening. That action sort of bothered him. Was there any reason for her to be ignoring him again?

'Why isn't she looking at me?' He stressed.

"Wanna head back?" He asked lightheartedly, hoping she'd at least glance his way.

When she finally turned around, a smile began growing on his lips, but rather than staring at his face, she seemed to think the floor was more interesting.

His smile fell and Luffy frowned once again, nodding slowly as he made his way towards the door. When he opened it, he prepared to walk out, expecting her to follow. But no. She just stood in the room, giving him a closed eye smile.

'Still won't look at me huh?'

"Aren't you coming?"

She could only stiffen in response. "No, I'm gonna work on charting our next course."

There was a quiet pause where Luffy just stared at her. He was glad she finally said something, but he was bummed she wasn't coming.

" Alright." He replied rather slowly, as if he was unsure whether he should leave or not.

I mean, he wanted to hang out with everyone, but he really wanted her to come with him.

Noticing his dilemma, Nami approached the doorway.

In a friendly manner, she patted his back in encouragement. "Go on. Franky's probably dying to talk about his latest work."

She seemed normal enough. So with a smile, Luffy nodded, taking a step out the room.

As he walked out the door, Nami glanced at the floor, zoning out as she waited for him to leave. There was a lot on her mind, and she didn't know how to deal with it. But…she really wanted to stay with him. You could see where she'd have trouble.

Just as he prepared to walk down the hall, he swallowed thickly, hoping to ease her earlier worries with his next statement.

"Uh." He spoke, gaining her attention.

Her head rose, meeting his serious gaze with her nervous one.

With confidence, Luffy's eyes bore into hers, no hint of embarrassment or anxiousness to be found, and said, "I'll tell you about that secret one day." He saw her eyes widen and continued. "I mean…I kinda have to be sure of it first…" He smiled, looking away for a split second before catching her gaze once more. "But I'll definitely tell you about it."

The determination in his eyes made heat crawl up her cheeks. Without knowing how to respond, she nodded, gripping her wrist tightly.

Luffy grinned, making her heart thrum in her ears.

"See ya." He said, then continued down the hallway, eventually disappearing down the winding stairs to join the crew.

So Nami stood there, looking longingly at the place he occupied a few seconds ago.

Seeing his face made her eyes tremble and her face overheat. It was such an unfamiliar emotion brewing within her and she didn't like it.

She felt confused.

Scared .

Goosebumps on her skin from his touch never left. It caused the tips of her fingers to tingle and her chest cramp.

And why was her heart beating so fast?

Feeling awkward, Nami walked back into the library and shut the door behind her.

Instinctively, her eyes immediately darted to the couch. The place they were bundled together in fiery passion, moving their bodies together in slow but sensual motions. As their eyes met, hazy exchanges of fervent desire were reciprocated on both ends. Not to mention that kiss at the end. It was phenomenal.

Without meaning to, her fingertips grazed her swollen lips, nearly shivering at the contact. As she thought of their extremely intimate act, a thought struck her.

Why is it that there seemed to be more passion than before ? The way he gaped at her, peering into her soul…it made her heart skip a beat.

Never before has she seen that expression on him. The amount of emotion that was swarming in his eyes was frightening. After a while, he seemed to be a little confused as well.

Maybe, just like her, he wasn't informed on what he was feeling. Was it the same thing Nami felt? That question was itching her brain. She so desperately wanted to know the answer.

From her lips, Nami's hand fell to her chest, finding her heart never ceased its erratic pumping.

It was all too overwhelming.

With the way she was acting, it was as if…as if she loved him. Not just as a friend either, but as a lover .

A deep blush enveloped her face as she imagined the possibility. Loving Luffy? Seeing him that way seemed so strange . Definitely something she never expected.

In all honesty, she's always thought of him as her savior. Her salvation.

But rather than romantic love, she felt extremely indebted to him. Even after Arlong's control over her came to an end, he's done so much for her. Gave her comfort when she was in desperate need of it. He gave her a home. Gave her a family. There was no way she could ever repay him for everything he's done.

It shouldn't be surprising that she fell for him. After everything they've been through, it makes sense that her feelings for him would develop beyond the stages of friendship. It was just hard to accept.

Damn near impossible to accept.

Now feeling confused and flustered, Nami's heart felt like it would beat out of her chest.

This wasn't real right? She had to be dreaming or on drugs or something.

His contagious smile flashed before her eyes, and suddenly…his entire persona felt different. The air he gave off suddenly… changed.

He wasn't just that boy who saved her, nor was he just her idiotic captian. Now, he was Luffy, the man she feels most comfortable with…and…

'The man I…the…man I…'

Her breathing intensified, widening her eyes as the emotions ran rampant around her body.

'He's the man I….lo-'

Nami shook her head from left to right. That can't be!

'No no no.'

For some reason, she felt guilty. Like she's doing something she shouldn't be.

It's wrong isn't it?

Love is distracting , something they didn't have time for. This was the new world, which meant there was no time for romance. And with Luffy of all people. That was just a recipe for disaster. Nami wasn't even sure if he knew the meaning behind romantic love, considering he never really understood her flirty gestures or comments.

With frustration, Nami fisted her hair.

'How stupid can I be?'

It was her captain. Her captain.

A magnificent blush started reddening her cheeks further.

She reasoned that this had to be a mix up. Maybe she was confusing lust with love.

'Yeah.'

That seemed more plausible.

That's all it is. It has to be.

Just as Nami almost yanked her hair out of her scalp, a soft knock resounded from the other side of the door, making her jump.

Feeling caught red handed, she stumbled back, quickly making her way towards her desk to pretend she was doing something productive.

"W-who is it?" She stuttered.

Some part of her wished it was Luffy, but another part wished he'd stay far away. At least until she got a hold of her emotions.

"It's Robin." She cooed from the other side of the door.

Of course it was Robin. There's no way Luffy would've knocked, especially not that delicately.

Feeling somewhat relieved, Nami sighed, taking a seat at the desk and yelling, "Come in."

The archaeologist entered with a soothing smile on her face and Nami reciprocated it. Of course Robin, being Robin, was able to see right through her.

As the black-haired beauty scanned the bookshelves, Nami couldn't help but stare at her back.

Ever since Robin's comment earlier about having "nothing to worry about," Nami felt like Robin knew a lot more than she anticipated. It made her a little anxious. So she was determined to squeeze as much information out of her as she could.

"Um…Robin…"

The older woman smiled cheekily as she grabbed a book, almost as if she'd been waiting for this moment.

"Yes?" She replied, never turning to face the troubled navigator.

"You…You're not a…um…have you ever…" Nami felt her cheeks redden, unsure if that was the right way to approach the topic.

Despite never finishing her sentence, Robin understood what she was trying to ask.

Finally, Robin turned to face her, seemingly enjoying herself. "You're asking if I've ever been intimate with a man?" She asked.

Feeling a little embarrassed with her bluntness, Nami pouted, looking away from the bold woman.

"Yeah." Nami replied, fighting the blush creeping up her face.

It's kind of crazy to think about, since Nami's usually very bold as well. But lately, she's been feeling flustered over lots of things and it's all thanks to one man.

She mentally scoffed. 'Getting flustered over a guy like him.'

"Hm. I have." Robin answered, causing Nami's head to snap in her direction.

'Robin's been with a man…sexually?'

The pure look of shock was reflected on her face as she eyed her crewmate.

Placing both hands on the desk, Nami jolted out of her chair. "You have!?" She exclaimed.

Robin took a seat on the bench and nodded. "You seem to forget I'm a thirty year old woman. My journey started long before yours did." Robin smiled to herself, stroking the book gently. Almost as if she were reminiscing. "I've been housed by many people. Large families welcomed me often, as did-" Robin turned her attention to Nami, smirking in a suggestive manner. "As did men."

Nami's jaw dropped. "Don't tell me you… paid them that way?" That seemed like such a sad way to live.

Robin chuckled. "No no. Not unless I wanted to."

At that, the navigator couldn't help but gape, suddenly seeing Robin in a new light.

Feeling curious, Nami forgot about her boy troubles.

"Just how many were there?"

For some reason, Nami was afraid of that answer.

Meanwhile, Robin's smile had not left since she walked through the door. That was because, truthfully, she's been excited to have this conversation with Nami. It seemed entertaining and she was right.

'Very entertaining indeed.'

"Not many. I only indulge in things like that when I'm very captivated by a man." She put a finger to her chin, raising her head to the ceiling in thought. "I'd say, over the years…maybe around…five men? Yes, five."

Although five wasn't a high number, it felt like a lot to Nami. This new information still felt incredibly shocking to hear. Five men have been with Robin. It seemed like a lot until you consider how long Robin's been out on her own. So really, it's impressive that she's only been with five people.

Nami could barely go two months without sex. Once she got the opportunity, she wasted no time pouncing on Luffy.

Realizing how desperate she was, Nami blushed at her own thoughts causing Robin to chuckle.

"Why are you suddenly curious?" Robin asked, even though she already knew the answer.

Knowing that her friend already knew everything, Nami gave her a look that said, 'seriously.'

Robin laughed once more.

Feeling even more embarrassed, Nami blushed harder, moving to take a seat next to her friend.

Staring at her knees, Nami sighed. "You know everything, don't you?"

Robin hummed in response. "How could I not? You returned with an interesting set of bruises on your legs."

Hearing that, Nami flushed. She abruptly whipped her head in Robin's direction, feeling exposed. "Was it that noticeable?" She quickly asked.

From Robin, Nami's eyes quickly fell to her thighs, feeling her heart quicken as she stared at the marks he left on her body. They started to throb the more she stared at them.

From the corner of her eyes, she could see Robin nodding. "I also saw a few red marks on the back of his neck. As well as-"

Nami shut her eyes tightly. "Ok I get it!" She squeaked, waving her hand as a signal for Robin to stop.

The archaeologist chuckled in reaction, very much enjoying their conversation. "I should mention this though." She added, causing Nami to peek at her, slightly scared she'd tease her again.

"I'm positive Sanji noticed the bruises. If he didn't make a fuss about you being injured, he's probably onto you guys as well."

Of course he knew. That meant two people already learned of their 'secret.' It's been twenty-four hours since Luffy and Nami created this funny arrangement, and some of the crew already found out. Honestly, she shouldn't be surprised. Robin is probably the most observant of them all, and Sanji's extremely observant of her body . It only makes sense that they'd find out the quickest.

Nami sighed. "Maybe I'll talk to him, see if he lets it slip that he knows something."

Robin nodded in agreement.

There was a momentary pause. At that time, Nami felt like everything was such a mess . Her situation with Luffy, their journey, even the relationships on the crew. For some reason, she felt like everything was changing.

It's…

'Scary.'

Seeming to notice her fears, Robin placed a comforting hand on her knee as Nami raised her head somberly.

Feeling vulnerable, the navigator stared at her friend, feeling her eyes brim with tears. All of her emotions were on the surface, nearly spewing out of her.

"Robin…" She croaked, feeling her lips tremble. "I don't know what to do."

The woman beside her frowned. "About what?"

Nami tried her hardest to hold back the tears, but she couldn't prevent them from falling. These emotions have been building up for a long time (two months to be exact) and all at once, they were going to explode.

With tears trailing down her face, she cried out. "I don't wanna cause trouble for the crew, but…but I keep…" Nami shook her head, violently rubbing her eyes with her fists.

"I'm so selfish. " She muttered in a broken whisper, trembling as the confusion boiled within her. The strain of not knowing was gripping her heart, making it damn near impossible to breathe.

In an attempt to stop the tears, she buried her palms into her eyes but found it did nothing.

'Why are you crying?!' She chastised herself.

In response to Nami's breakdown, Robin's brows twisted in sympathy, trying her hardest to understand.

"Why would any of this make you selfish? Whatever you and Luffy are doing is your own business, it wouldn't change the way we see you."

Nami shuddered, hiccuping as she tried to calm herself. "But…" She removed her hands from her eyes to blankly stare at her palms. "But I…"

As a form of comfort, Robin placed an arm around her, squeezing her shoulder to show as much support as she could offer.

Sniffling, the navigator continued. "It wasn't supposed to happen…" Nami felt herself recalling their first night together and how that was the catalyst for everything that's happened between them. "If I had just kept the door locked, none of this would've happened. But now, now I'm…" She swallowed thickly. "I think I…"

Nami felt her breathing harshen, pulling short breaths between her lips.

She shouldn't say it. If she said it out loud, it would feel real and that's the last thing she wants. For such a bothersome feeling to become reality…no way.

"You think you…" Robin repeated, urging her to continue.

Memories of him flooded her brain. All the times he pissed her off, made her smile, every little argument they got into, times he's saved her, all the way up to the day they first met. They've been through so much together.

Now that they've reached a different level…

Their trust, loyalty and reliance on one another…

It's all been building up to this point. From the day they first met.

Nami's lips trembled, feeling her heart clench. It felt painfully good in the most terrifying way.

Staring at the teardrops that fell onto her palms, she mumbled in a broken whisper, "I think…I love him…" With eyes as wide as saucers, she inhaled sharply. "I… love him?" She repeated, confused.

Warmth spread throughout her body, starting from her chest then gradually flooding her entire system. The tears never slowed, endlessly pouring down her face.

All of her jumbled thoughts from these past two months suddenly made sense. Her jealousy was because she wanted him for herself. Everytime her chest would throb, it was because she longed for him, she wanted to be near him, to see him . And, when he would look at her, she felt like her heart stopped beating. The fuzzy feeling she'd get just from looking at him and the butterflies that swarmed when thinking of their time together. It all made sense.

She…was in love with her friend.

With this shocking realization, Nami felt the tears streaming down her face faster than before.

Just because she was aware didn't make it any less terrifying.

Now that she's admitted it, there's no going back. If anything, these feelings would only intensify with each passing day.

Squeezing Nami tighter, Robin shut her eyes, as if she expected that statement. "What's wrong with that?" She inquired in which Nami flinched in response.

The redhead furrowed her brows. " Everything ." Nami turned to look at her with a tear stricken face. "It's burdensome . It's distracting . Plus Luffy would never be interested in love. So it's pointless. All of this is just a big mess. " Nami felt like it was harder to breathe, there was a sharpness in her lungs every time she inhaled, making it painful to inhale. All of this was piling up, leaving her extremely stressed and anxious. Feeling unsure, she said, "This is only gonna end badly, so I should put an end to it before I'm in too deep."

At that, Nami felt her throat tighten in regret.

No.

She didn't want that.

But it seemed like it was the only way to guarantee he never found out about her hidden emotions.

'He can't find out.'

'Never.'

Every short breath she took, hurt. There was a crushing weight in her chest and she couldn't gain control over her breathing.

She was frustrated.

Confused.

Scared.

Robin furrowed her brows, worrying about Nami's physical and mental state. The raven-haired woman felt like she was being too hard on herself.

"Listen to me." Robin said seriously.

Nami glanced in her direction, breathing raggedly with a flushed face and tears in the corners of her eyes.

With the most earnest expression Nami's ever seen on her, Robin looked Nami dead in the eyes and strictly said, "Your feelings are not a burden."

There was a quiet pause. That allowed Robin's statement to really sink in, to sooth her.

Feeling vulnerable once again, Nami's bit her trembling bottom lip.

No longer being able to hold back the sob that escaped her, Nami cried out loud, burying her head on Robin's shoulder and shuddering as she bawled her eyes out.

"You need to understand something." Robin added, cradling the woman in her arms. "Just because your feeling's have developed beyond friendship, doesn't mean everything has to change."

Nami hiccuped, finding it hard to speak. "But-"

"Nami." Robin spoke softly. "It's Luffy. He would never find it 'burdensome' if you told him. He would also never let you go. Even if you told him you never wanted to see him again, he'd probably chase you to the ends of the earth."

At that, Nami couldn't help but giggle through her tears. It was too true. He's the most stubborn man in the world.

"But I also think you're not giving our captain enough credit."

Upon that statement, Nami's face squished together, puzzled. "What do you mean?" She sniffled, no longer feeling tears building up within her.

The archeologist smiled, recalling an interesting conversation she eavesdropped on. To be more precise, a conversation between their captain and a certain red-haired woman.

"He knows about romance. Even though he learned a little late, he still knows."

Nami removed herself from her shoulder to stare Robin in the eyes. Swimming in Nami's wide, brown eyes, there was surprise laced with a hint of hope.

Wait, hope? For what?

Robin only nodded, boosting Nami's mood.

Not feeling needed any longer, Robin removed herself from the bench, smiling down at the emotionally drained female. "I won't tell you what to do, but if I were you, I wouldn't end this arrangement you two've got going on."

Just as Robin started to walk away, she stopped with her back facing Nami, wanting to give her the push she needed.

"Who knows, maybe he's experiencing something similar to what you're feeling. Luffy's not familiar with romance, so…why don't you help him through it?" She suggested and without anything more to say, Robin strode towards the door with her book in hand. Honestly, she had more questions. Such as, asking about certain aspects of their relationship and seeing if Nami needed any guidance on the intimate side of things. But for now, she'd leave it where it was. That could wait till next time.

With a cheeky smile, the dark haired woman left the room, shutting the door behind her to leave the girl to her rampant thoughts.

Nami on the other hand, just stared blankly at a random area of the room.

If what she heard was correct, Robin suggested Luffy felt the same as she does..

But that's impossible.

If that's the case…

Nami blushed, straightening her spine and breathing deeply. The more she thought about it, the more it made sense.

I mean, he was looking at her kind of strangely. Not to mention the way he touched her. The delicacy. The passion.

Could that be because he-

'No. Nope.'

Before her thoughts reached dangerous levels, Nami removed herself from the bench to pace around the room.

If Luffy didn't feel anything besides sexual desire for her, she didn't even want to think of the possibility that he saw her as more than a friend. That would only end in heartbreak…for her at least.

Feeling faintly downhearted, Nami sighed heavily, brushing her hair behind her ears and wiping any remaining teardrops from her body.

She had to pull herself together.

That conversation with Robin was exactly what she needed. Reassurance and comfort. Encouragement too.

After processing what she was saying, Nami finally understood what she had to do.

These emotions wouldn't become a burden. As long as she dealt with them in the right manner, everything should be fine.

Walking over to her desk, Nami took a seat, feeling a sudden urge of determination.

What was she crying about? Just because she's fallen in love with him won't change anything. In fact, it only leaves room for a more exciting life with him.

Possibly…

The thing that interests her though, is Robin's parting words.

'Maybe he's experiencing something similar.'

Nami rested her chin in the palm of her hand, seeming very focused. That was because she was trying to determine what she should do with this bit of information.

The most tempting course of action was to ignore everything and proceed as they've been doing.

But…some part of her, the selfish part, wanted to know if he really felt the same way.

Without thinking too hard, she made up her mind.

Pulling her hair up and opening her map, she smiled softly.

No matter what, she was going to find out how he felt about her. And if he didn't feel the same way…

I guess she'd just have to make him fall in love with her.

Nami remained in that room for about an hour and a half charting their next course. Since she had time to collect her thoughts, she felt a lot better. Like she could finally breathe.

Now that she understood her emotions, it was as if all of her pent up frustration washed away. Simply vanished.

Feeling like she could walk on air, Nami happily walked out of the library and made her way to the main deck.

Upon doing that, she noticed they moved from the aquarium to the grassy area, all chatting amongst each other while snacking on something with a mouth watering aroma.

'That smells amazing!'

Sanji was the first to notice her presence. "Nami-san! Would you like a strawberry tart? I've kept it nice and warm for you!"

Feeling flattered, Nami smiled sweetly. "Sounds great."

Her soft voice sent shivers down his spine causing him to bolt into the kitchen. At the ridiculous action, Nami laughed gently, making her way towards Usopp and Zoro.

Zoro was laying against the tree, sipping sake and gazing at the sky, while Usopp rambled nonsense to him.

"Nami!" Usopp smiled widely. "You seem to be in a good mood."

At that, Nami only smiled wider, taking a seat on the floor in front of both men.

"I do?" She questioned, even though she knew she was feeling better than ever.

Usopp mirrored her cheesy smile, glad to finally see her happy again.

Sanji ran to her, handing her the sweet treat and blushing madly when she complimented the taste. He then did his usual routine of chanting sweet praises until Zoro got annoyed and told him to 'shut up.'

After that, of course they began arguing, going back and forth with the insults.

So Nami and Usopp moved to the railing, leaving them to their heated conversation.

Finishing off her tart, Nami did a quick glance of the crew, noting that Luffy and Chopper weren't anywhere to be found. There was a hint of disappointment when she realized he wasn't around, but she didn't want to let that bring her down. Although, she couldn't help wondering where he was.

Reading her like a book, Usopp smirked. "He's been chasing Chopper around for a while now" Feeling exposed, Nami tensed.

She averted her attention back to the sniper in hopes of defending her dignity. "I wasn't looking for him." She replied rather quickly, hoping to save herself the embarrassment. "Mhm." He hummed knowingly.

They both leaned against the railing, staring at the moonlight reflecting on the endless open ocean before them

As she eyed the calm water, Nami dwelled on the fact that Usopp was catching onto her. It felt like he was already in the know about some things but he just didn't know how to approach the topic.

"Did you guys talk it out?" The man questioned, side-eying her.

Rather than feeling embarrassed, a smile grew on Nami's face.

Mostly because her and Luffy haven't had a proper conversation in such a long time. It's always been short talks, or an argument. The rest of the time, they were busy doing… other things .

Seeing her cheerful reaction, Usopp's eyelids gently fell as he smiled at her. He was obviously enjoying her reaction, but was also confused by it.

Seeing his face, she laughed. Quite loudly too.

Nami just couldn't help it. It felt so hilarious.

Usopp's brows twisted. "Well something happened. Right?" He added, causing the girl to laugh harder.

Something definitely happened but there was no way she was going to tell him how they were at each other's throats one minute, then before they knew it, they were going at it right there in the library.

"Did he do something stupid?" Usopp questioned, desperate to know what transpired between them.

Nami sighed heavily, amusement still painted on her face. "Honestly? I don't know what happened."

The man's face twisted, once again not understanding.

Staring at the array of stars in the sky, Nami ignored his confusion to smile warmly.

"We…yelled at each other." She said, recalling the way she unfairly took her jealousy out on him and he fiercely shouted back at her.

Usopp deadpanned. "You guys have a weird way of making up." He mumbled, lowering his chin onto the rail.

They sat there for a while, enjoying the tranquility of the warm, breezy night.

That was until the most terrifying screech they've ever heard resounded from the men's quarters, quickly diminishing the peaceful atmosphere.

It was obviously Chopper.

Both Nami and Usopp turned around just in time to catch the reindeer bolting out the room screaming his lungs off, while Luffy laughed heartily as he chased him.

"HE FOUND ME!" Screamed Chopper. "ROBINN! HELP!"

The woman sitting on a lounge chair did her signature pose, sprouting an extra pair of arms out of the floor and grabbing Luffy's ankles. Since he wasn't prepared to stop, the man ended up face planting onto the floor as Chopper scrambled onto the woman's lap, breathing harshly with wide eyes. It looked like the poor guy just escaped death.

Usopp made a loud "pfffftttt," pointing his finger at Luffy's comedic, unmoving body. He then busted out laughing.

Nami chuckled as well, shaking her head from left to right.

'He's such an idiot.'

Hearing his crew laugh at him, Luffy sprung up, feeling a little butthurt by the fact.

"That's cheating!" He said, pointing an accusing finger at the archeologist. "You can't help him!"

Robin smiled, holding Chopper in her arms lovingly. "But he asked."

Luffy's mouth fell open, ready to protest, but Usopp's taunting laughter made him turn to yell at the sniper instead.

"She obviously-" Luffy paused, eyes widening as he caught sight of the person next to Usopp. Forgetting his original thoughts he blinked. "Oh Nami! You came back out!"

The woman stared at him doe-eyed, feeling flustered for some reason.

Usopp rolled his eyes knowingly, muttering, "Annnd just like that he's fine."

As she stared at her captain, Nami placed a hand on her hip gently scrutinizing her captain. "Stop tormenting Chopper." She demanded.

In response, the captain pouted, making his way towards her.

She tried hard to pretend her heart didn't speed up. Earlier, she repeatedly told herself to 'act natural.' If she reacted a certain way, everyone would catch on. So she tried her hardest to control herself. Even though it felt impossible to remain calm around him.

Laughing, the captain continued on his way to her. "He sounds so funny when I tickle him though."

She watched intently as Luffy placed himself next to her, taking a seat on the railing as he stared at his crew.

With all her power, Nami attempted to ignore his knee that was lightly brushing against her waist. He obviously wasn't doing it on purpose, but just being near him made her heart pound. So touching made things twenty times worse.

In order to act calm and collected, she began to stare at Zoro who was nodding off. Not feeling entertained with that, she focused on Robin and Chopper who were engaged in a lively conversation with Brooke and Franky. They seemed to be having a nice chat. From them, her eyes landed on Usopp who was resting his arms on the rail and staring at the dark sea once again. Nami smiled at the satisfied smile on his lips.

They were a great crew indeed.

What she was unaware of, was the dark eyes staring down at her from the corner of his eyes.

The moment he caught sight of her, he forgot why he was talking in the first place.

Just seeing her made him extremely happy. Happy enough to lose his train of thought.

As he watched her glance around the ship with a smile on her face, moonlight painting her skin and hair in a mesmerizing glow, he felt his body react. Not like it normally does though. This feeling, it resonated from his chest, then began spreading. There was a harsh pumping in his ribcage too. It felt weird.

To sum it up, he didn't like it.

Since she was the cause of his chest pains, Luffy turned his gaze somewhere else, redirecting it to the sky above him.

He felt similar when they were in the library. He would feel a little tingly and hot. It felt completely different then it did their first night together. There was something about it that felt intense. Well, more intense than usual. It left him bewildered and at a loss for words. And he never has a loss for words.

Without meaning to, his eyes flickered back to her, surprised to catch her gazing at him as well.

When their eyes met, Nami's brows rose and her cheeks gained a little color.

Luffy just stared blankly, instantly taking in that expression and engraving it in his mind. Her eyes seemed to sparkle, and he just couldn't look away. The moonlight reflected in her dark brown orbs looked kind of cool.

Realizing he wasn't backing down, her brows scrunched a little, then she tightened her lips. It almost looked like she was angry at him, even though she wasn't. So he continued to stare. Feeling embarrassed, she quickly whipped her head in the opposite direction.

Subconsciously, a smile slowly began growing on his lips as he looked away as well.

Again, there was a fuzziness in his chest. It seemed like every time she was around, he acted a little strangely. Or rather, she would incite strange reactions out of him. Either way, it was always her. No one else made him feel that way.

The feeling wasn't necessarily bad, but he just couldn't get a hold of it. That's what bothered him.

The fact that he can't stop it, is aggravating. Every single time he sees her, whenever she talks, smiles. Just her in general is what makes him all jumbled and antsy. Yet, even his frustrations can't stop him from seeing her. As much as he despises the fact that he has no control over his emotions, he never wants it to go away. If it means he could continue to talk to her, to see her, to touch her , he'd rather live with that troubling feeling for the rest of his life.

The young captain sat on the railing, staring at the sky blanky while lost in his thoughts.

Usopp calling out to him loudly brought him out of his headspace.

Hearing Usopp scream his name another time, Luffy glanced around, finding everyone was walking in his direction.

He blinked. "Huh?"

Usopp smacked his knee in annoyance, pointing out to sea. "There's a ship approaching behind us!"

Calmly, Luffy hopped off the rail to take a look, raising his eyebrows when there was, indeed, a ship fast approaching.

Luffy squinted, trying to see if he could make out the flag.

Nami did the same, leaning a little over the rail to look closely. "It looks like a pirate ship. I don't recognize the jolly roger though."

Luffy nodded seriously, yet said, "Should we say hi?"

Both Nami and Sanji smacked him over the head.

"Why would we?" The cook chastised.

"They could be after our heads!" Nami scolded and Luffy just continued smiling.

He then punched the palm of his hand as if ready to fight. "Then we'll beat 'em up."

Both Nami and Sanji sighed.

"He's impossible." Sanji muttered and Nami nodded in agreement.

Realizing the ship was getting closer and nothing was being done, Nami looked at Luffy who was eyeing the ship closely.

At least he was being cautious.

Her attention was drawn back to the unknown boat, feeling uneasy with how close they were getting.

"Why aren't they turning?" Brooke questioned, seeing the ship start to come into view right next to them.

Luffy just stared, not feeling the least bit worried.

It wasn't until both pirate ships were side-by-side they saw someone on board.

It was a man, he looked pretty young. Brown hair and sharp eyes.

When he caught sight of the strawhats, he smiled widely.

"You're Strawhat Luffy right?" The man yelled.

"Yeah!" Luffy immediately said back.

Feeling wary, Nami took a step closer to Luffy as a form of comfort.

She, including the rest of the crew, glared at the man, not knowing his intentions for calling out to them.

They watched as the mysterious person took a few steps back, then dashed towards them, jumping from his ship and landing swiftly onto the railing of the Sunny.

Luffy frowned a little, yet continued to observe the man closely; meanwhile, Zoro gripped his sword, ready to slice him up the minute Luffy ordered it.

Rather than attacking them, the stranger gave a cheesy smile, hopping onto the grass deck with a smirk on his lips.

"Sorry for popping outta nowhere. I don't wanna fight you guys." He said, waving a hand in front of himself defensively. "You see, my chef, it's her dream to meet all the great pirates of the world. The ones who are alive at least." He glanced at each one of the strawhats, trying to prove he meant no harm. "You guys were on her list and even if it's just a wave, I'm sure she'll appreciate it."

At that, Luffy blinked, casually rubbing his index finger under his nose. "I see. Bring her over then."

Nami leaned into Luffy's side to whisper in his ear. "Are you sure about this? What if-"

"Oh!" The stranger yelped, interrupting her mid-sentence. An action she wasn't too happy with.

Both Luffy and Nami turned to the man. He was staring at her with wide eyes, sparkling with admiration ?

"You're cat burglar Nami right?"

With a raised brow she glared lightly at him. "Who's asking?"

The man quickly approached her, holding his hand out to offer a shake. "I'm Ragan, captain of the stripe pirates."

Hesitantly, Nami took his hand, unsure if he was trustworthy or not. He immediately began shaking it, excited to meet her for some reason.

"I've actually wanted to meet you!" He said, causing everyone to look a little confused.

Meanwhile, Sanji glared at the man, taking a puff of his cigarette and preparing to interfere if the bastard got too comfortable with her.

Luffy on the other hand just stared blankly. "You know Nami?" He asked.

Ragan glanced at the captain and shook his head 'no' before eagerly returning his attention back to Nami, whose hand he was still excitedly shaking. "But I've heard many things about you!" He grinned.

Feeling a little awkward, Nami pulled her head away from him to study his body language. She didn't catch any hidden intentions, only pure excitement. But for what?

"What things?" Luffy asked for her.

"Well I heard you're an extraordinary Navigator! After Sash told me about your guy's adventures, I wanted to meet you and ask about your way of navigating. The thoughts you had when you were in such dangerous situations, I wanna hear all about it!"

Nami's eyes were large as she took in his words. It was all very random but dare she say she felt flattered? Not once did she expect someone to look up to her for her skills alone. It was kind of nice to hear.

Feeling his praise start to sink in, she felt a surge of bashfulness and gave a closed eye smile, waving her hand to humbly tell him to 'stop' when really, she wanted to be showered with more compliments.

" You're too kind. " She sang and the man gave a closed eyed smile of his own.

"How can I not be? When such a talented person like you is in front of me, I can't help but praise you."

She laughed heartily, enjoying his words very much. It was always nice being appreciated and acknowledged for your work rather than your looks. Even if Ragan was only flirting with her, she would applaud him for such a fantastic way of picking up a woman

As the two became acquainted with one another, Luffy watched as the girl next to him smiled warmly at Ragan. From her face, his eyes fell to her hand, still being held by that guy. They stopped shaking hands, so at this point they were just holding hands. Or as Luffy saw it, touching unnecessarily.

He stared at their joined hands, squinting at the sight. There was a sinking feeling in his chest as he saw her tiny hand encased in the hold of some random guy.

It made him a little uncomfortable and for some strange reason, he felt like separating them.

So that's exactly what he was going to do.

Not wanting to wait another second, Luffy did a soft karate chop on top of their hands, effectively preventing them from touching any longer. As he watched their hands break apart, a soft smile grew on his lips.

'Much better.' He thought.

Both Nami and Ragan turned to look at Luffy confused, as did the rest of the strawhats. All but Robin and Sanji who knew more than everyone else. Robin was amused while Sanji sighed heavily.

Nami gave Luffy a crooked smile, not sure what the purpose of that was. All the while Luffy grinned innocently, staring at her as he normally would.

She squinted inquisitively, trying to read him, but turned away before she misinterpreted his actions. The desperate side of her wanted to believe that Luffy got jealous, but that seemed like a crazy thought. Luffy wasn't really the jealous type, so an innocent handshake definitely wouldn't affect him.

In the end, Nami assumed he just felt like karate chopping, so he did it.

She shook her head, once again not understanding her captain's thought process, and returned to smiling at Ragan.

"Didn't you say someone wanted to meet us?" She asked and the brown-haired man nodded, pointing his thumb behind him, towards his ship. "Yeah our chef, Sash, she almost fainted when she saw your jolly roger."

Ragan turned to face his ship, ordering everyone to come out.

One by one, his crewmembers boarded the sunny, quickly introducing themselves to the strawhats.

There was even a guy who bowed to Zoro, praising the swordsman for his skills. Zoro only nodded, feeling a little thrown off guard by the compliments.

Others flocked to each member, showing their admiration and respect.

By the time everyone boarded, there was a count of fifteen stripe pirates.

"So where's this Splash chick?" Luffy questioned as he observed the people around him.

"Splash?" Ragan muttered, wondering if he misheard him. Surely no one was that bad with names.

Along with Luffy, Nami looked around, only seeing one female boarded. "Is that her?"

Ragan denied with the shake of his head. He glanced back at his ship, squinting at the pair of brown eyes he saw peaking above the rail.

"Sash!" He yelled.

This caused Luffy and Nami to look at the ship, seeing a girl squeak and hide under the railing.

Luffy laughed. "She's like a mouse," he pointed out, referring to her gray hair and the way she squeaked.

"Is she scared?" Nami inquired.

Sighing, Ragan nodded. "She can be a little shy."

Not really caring about her reasons, Luffy adjusted his hat as he stared at the place the mouse-girl hid behind. "She's never gonna be able to accomplish anything like that. Especially with pirates."

There was a silent pause.

As much as Nami wanted to chastise him for his blatant words, Luffy was right. Out on the sea is no place to be shy. Especially when her dream is to meet powerful people. A lot of them aren't as nice as Luffy. If you don't have a strong willpower, you won't be able to do anything. Nami knows that better than anyone.

Ragan eyed the captain with newfound respect. He's said something similar to her as well.

"Well, if she doesn't come, she'll miss out on an opportunity of a lifetime. I've done my part as her captain, now she has to decide for herself whether she's fit for this life or not."

After hearing that, Nami stared at Ragan with a hint of shock. He was a pretty straightforward guy. It reminded her a little of Luffy in some way. Maybe it was their way of thinking, or just the energy he gave off. Something about him made him seem familiar. So Nami smiled, placing a friendly hand on Ragan's shoulder.

"You seem like a great captain." She announced.

At that, Luffy stiffened a little, feeling his smile fall. Nami has never said that to him. Only called him an idiot every chance she got.

Luffy pouted, jutting his bottom lip out due to envy. He kind of wanted her to tell him that.

'I'm a great captain too.' He thought.

As Ragan laughed sheepishly, scratching the back of his neck, Luffy couldn't help butting into their conversation. "Wanna eat?" Luffy questioned loudly, hoping Nami would pay attention to him instead. Although, after saying that, he suddenly felt hungry.

Ragan smiled. "Sure! I'll have some of my guys bring over some stuff. We did kinda show up outta nowhere so it's the least I can do."

At that, Nami looked exasperated. "You're so modest."

The reason for her shock was that it was rare to find pirates with great manners. Luffy's brother Ace was modest as well which also surprised everyone greatly.

Once again, Luffy saw them exchange weird looks between one another.

Looking back and forth between them, he got a weird vibe from it, so he threw an arm around both of them, placing himself in the middle and quickly pulling them towards the aquarium bar.

"Sounds great!" Luffy exclaimed, referring to the food.

As Luffy dragged Nami across the ship, her throat tightened and her chest fluttered. The feel of his strong arm wrapped around her, and his warm chest pressed into her back. It made her heart pound. But considering he was doing it to another person at the same time, Nami thought nothing of it. Just another friendly gesture he does on an everyday basis.

'Friendly…'

That seemed like such a foreign term now. Considering everything they've done together, 'friendly gestures' seemed out of place. Don't misunderstand, it felt natural, the only problem is every touch would remind her of their secret and all of the intimate things they've done together.

Just as it did now.

When they made it inside, both crews were hanging out, chatting amongst each other in the most lively manner.

It was uplifting to witness. So both Luffy and Nami smiled as they took in the atmosphere.

Not long after, a few guys came in with bins of food and drinks.

So they all ate, drank and sang together. It was truly a fun night for everyone.

After about an hour of nonstop partying, Luffy took a break from his singing and dancing to look for Ragan. He liked the guy and wanted to get to know him a little better. So he searched the room, yet couldn't spot him anywhere. Luffy frowned a little, not wanting to look. So he chose to wait until Ragan came back from…wherever he was.

Just as Luffy settled on forgetting about him and returning to the party, he realized Nami wasn't in the room either.

The captain blinked, suddenly feeling a strong urge to find her.

Without a second thought, he left the room and calmly glanced around the deck.

'Not here.'

Lightly humming, he walked across the ship, heading towards the helm. The further up the stairs he got, the louder a voice got. That's when he realized-

'It's Ragan!'

Just as Luffy prepared to run up the stairs to ask if he's seen Nami, he heard the voice of his navigator enthusiastically replying to whatever Ragan had said.

Instantly, Luffy froze where he stood, halting on the steps in a place where he could not be seen.

Staring at the wood beneath his feet, he listened in on them.

For some reason, he was feeling strange as he heard Nami laugh at a joke that guy made.

His eyes drifted to the side, staring in their direction, but due to being hidden, he couldn't see what they were doing. It kind of stressed him out.

Were they touching again?

There was this sinking feeling within him and he felt it travel from his chest, all the way to his gut.

The way Nami was so engaged in conversation with Ragan, yet couldn't hold one with Luffy, made him upset. After they slept together, Nami hasn't hung out with Luffy like she used to. After that day, she became a little distant. Yesterday, she agreed to be intimate with him as long as they keep it a secret, but that's not all he wants. He wants to talk to her like he used to. He wants to laugh with her. To make her smile just like Ragan does.

"So you're a navigator and a captain?" Nami questioned. "That's incredible!"

Luffy noted how impressed she sounded. Once again, it made him upset. 'I could be a navigator if I tried…' He pouted.

Ragan laughed. "Not as incredible as you. I'm nowhere near your level yet."

As their conversation continued, Luffy felt more and more uneasy. He wanted to see what they were up to, so he poked his head above the floorboard to peek at them in the sneakiest way possible.

They weren't even looking in his direction. Instead, they were leaning against the rail looking at the water, occasionally sharing weird glances.

His brow twitched.

Luffy didn't know why they had to be outside when the party was inside. Why would they want to be alone if they were just talking? It made no sense. He figured he'd eavesdrop a little longer then bring them back.

Silently, Luffy watched closely as they both laughed together once more. Every shared smile made him envious. It was a constant reminder that Nami hasn't laughed like that for a while. It made his throat tighten and his chest throb.

"So I guess you joining my crew is out of the question?" He heard Ragan ask.

Immediately, any joy left on Luffy's face vanished. Not a single ounce of it left within him as his heart painfully thudded against his ribs. Gears in his head were turning one thousand miles per second.

There's no way Nami would join his crew. She's Luffy's navigator, not Ragan's.

Feeling more on edge than before, Luffy eyed Nami's back, waiting for her to decline the offer.

As he saw her shake her head and chuckle, Luffy felt like his heart would leap out of his throat. There's no way Nami would leave him. He has so much faith in her. She can't. She won't.

"I can't." She replied and Luffy instantly sighed in relief. Although, he was still angry that Ragan even asked her to join in the first place.

As Luffy glared at the man's back, he saw Ragan raise his arm to touch-

Luffy stood up straight, no longer worrying about being hidden. His eyes widened and his mouth parted, stunned.

'Her hair?'

He's trying to touch her hair?

Once more, Luffy's brows furrowed and he clenched his fist.

Why was he always trying to touch her? It's not like he needed to communicate through his hands. Ragan and Nami could talk, but Luffy saw no need for them to touch. It was pointless. Well, unless they…unless they wanted to-

All the sudden feeling anxious, he felt his heart sink to the pit of his stomach.

There's no way Ragan's interested in Nami the same way Luffy is…right?

As he watched the man grab a strand of her hair, bring it to his face and smell it. Heat flooded his system. Not in a good way either.

That was because Luffy loved the smell of her hair. It was comforting and sweet. So much so that every time they were intimate, he would always make sure to get a nice whiff of it. It was amazing. Something Luffy did. So why was some random man doing it?

Subconsciously, Luffy's lips tightened. He couldn't really hear what they were saying over the pounding of his own heart. As Nami turned to face that guy, got on her tippy toes and stroked his hair, Luffy was done. He didn't know their reasons for touching the others' hair, but quite frankly, he didn't give a damn.

With purpose, he stomped the rest of the way up the stairs, feeling a little nauseous as he saw the way she smiled at Ragan again .

They seemed to hear Luffy's dramatic walking, because they both turned to look at him.

They were both smiling, but their happiness drifted away when they saw Luffy's frown.

Why would he smile if he didn't feel happy? In fact, he felt annoyed. Very annoyed. He invited this crew onto his ship. For what? So the captain could try to steal his members?

Luffy continued stomping in their direction, eyes solely on her. As her wide brown eyes stared at him, he wished she'd look at him the same way she was looking at Ragan.

Without much thought, Luffy grabbed her wrist and instantly began pulling her away from him . He didn't want them together. He's not sure why, he just didn't . It bugged him more than he could explain.

Nami on the other hand, stared at Luffy's angry face in wonder.

"Luffy? Did you need something?"

As she spoke, she tried to prevent her voice from trembling. He was holding onto her a little tightly, but not too tight that it would hurt. The only problem was her fluttering heart.

They ended up walking down the stairs, all the way to the grassy deck. Once they got there, Luffy stopped walking, giving her the sight of his broad back.

With urgency, he whipped himself around, giving her a soft, angry look. Almost like he was offended by something.

"Lu-"

"I'm a great captain too!" He shouted, still gripping her wrist.

Nami blinked. "Wha-"

He interrupted her, huffing dramatically. "And! And I could be a navigator!" Luffy shouted, coming closer to her face to show how serious he was. "You just, I mean, you'd have to teach me but I could do it! I'd be even better than that guy!"

Again, Nami just stared at him, doe-eyed.

'What is he talking about?'

Luffy noticed the strange look in her eyes and dwelled over the fact that she wasn't admiring Luffy the same way she admired Ragan. It…It was bugging him. So much that he was starting to fidget.

Nami sighed heavily. "Luffy, what's going on?"

The captain frowned at her. Before he could answer, a head of brown hair caught his peripheral vision. It was Ragan making his way down the stairs and towards them. Luffy's eyes flickered in his direction, then quickly landed on Nami again.

'Nope.'

In an attempt to keep them far apart, he continued dragging her, heading back towards the aquarium.

Nami stumbled a little, making sounds of protest. "But Ragan he-"

Luffy turned to give her an annoyed glare. In return, she shut up, gaping at her captain in wonder. She's never seen him act like this before. It wasn't scaring her, it was just so strange .

Luffy rolled his eyes. "He's fine. He's 'incredible', remember? I'm sure such an 'incredible' guy like him can walk by himself." He spoke with a childish tone of voice, sulking about something she couldn't understand.

At first, Nami couldn't think of a reason for Luffy to be acting so weird . But then, once again, she wanted to believe he was upset that she was talking to another man. With the way he reacted and the nonsense he's been spouting. It seemed possible and…she really wanted to believe it. But since it was Luffy, she just didn't know. It could be that Luffy just didn't really like the guy, but Luffy's not one to dislike people who are nice. And well, Ragan's nice.

'So why?'

Feeling his tight grip never lessened, she blushed a little, staring at his hand firmly wrapped around her small wrist.

As he began opening the door to the bar, her eyes widened.
'Why isn't he letting go?' She stressed.

The way he dragged her into the loud party made her nervous. If people saw him holding her, wouldn't they get the wrong idea?

She was expecting him to let go, but he didn't. Actually, he continued dragging her around as he talked to different people. She wasn't even sure if he remembered she was there. That was, until he handed her a drink with a large smile.

Seriously? Was he just going to keep holding onto her without explaining anything?

First he rudely took her away from Ragan when they were in the middle of a conversation, then he starts yelling nonsense, and now he's basically holding hands with her as he talks to other people, all the while she's left in the complete dark.

She took the pint with a shaky hand, not sure what his intentions were.

"Luffy." She spoke.

The captain smiled at her casually. As if he hasn't been holding her wrist for the past ten minutes.

Her eyes darted to his hand. "Can you let go?" She requested, even though she really didn't want him to.

The man blinked, raising her wrist for her to see. "Why? This is fun."

Her face twisted. Fun? What's fun about it?

"But-"

He turned his head away from her in defiance. "Nope. I don't wanna let go." He said, then started chugging on his beverage.

Nami's brows furrowed, gaping at him. "Why not? I can't do anything when you're holding onto me!"

Putting down his mug, he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand.

Instinctively, her eyes fell to his lips that glistened with saliva and fruit juice. She suddenly was very aware of her own mouth.

Looking troubled, She swallowed thickly, licking her dry lips. Why was it so hard to act normal around him?

Only a few seconds ago she was thinking of an explanation for her captain's strange behavior, but now she could only wonder if it'd taste like juice if she kissed him.

That thought alone made her question her self-control. If she's that affected by him drinking juice, the crew would find out about her hidden feelings in no time.

Before she could fantasize any longer, Luffy said, "Then do something with me."

This caused her heart to stop.

'What does he mean by that?'

Nami felt her face heat up as her thoughts went back to the library. It's only been a few hours since then and she was already craving his touch.

Luffy on the other hand was oblivious to the current state of his navigator. The state that he put her in.

While she gaped at him like a fish out of water, he just stared, waiting for her to agree to have fun with him.

After catching her and that guy messing with each other's hair, he didn't feel like letting her out of his sight.

His eyes suddenly lit up as an idea came to him. "Oh I know!" He said.

When her body stiffened and her cheeks turned red, Luffy looked at her inquisitively. He crouched a little to stare her in the eyes.

"Nami, you ok?"

No she was not ok!

His hold on her wrist, the misleading comments and his stupid lips were messing with her. Teasing her.

What's worse is that he wasn't even aware of his actions. That alone made Nami feel a little embarrassed about being so desperate. But the longer she looked at his face, the more she wanted him.

'Wait, I can just-'

When her face started morphing into a teasing smirk, he blinked, thrown off guard by the change.

What he was unaware of, is the fact that Nami thought of the perfect plan. If she didn't want to be the only one feeling desperate, she wasn't going to be. In fact, by the end of the night she'd have him begging her to stay the night with him.

She mentally giggled, loving the idea very much .

"What should we do?" She asked slyly.

Hearing her agree to hang out, Luffy became unbelievably ecstatic, unaware of the feelings he was about to be put through.

Just as he was about to recommend something, she started wiggling the wrist he held onto, trying to release herself from his hold. At first, he was a little bummed he had to let go, but when she gently grabbed his hand and stroked it with her thumb, his brain shut down. He wasn't entirely sure how to feel about that. It felt like something jolted within him but then…he couldn't put the feeling into words.

She squeezed his hand, still smirking devilishly at him. He could only stare into her playful eyes with his mouth agape.

Before he knew it, he was squeezing her hand back, tempted to follow her wherever she went.

Nami decided to drag him towards the group of pirates sitting in a circle on the floor. It was a mix of the strawhats and the stripes. They were drinking alcohol, laughing and making crude jokes. You know, the usual.

Nami continued pulling him towards them, feeling her heart rate increase drastically the longer they held hands. The minute someone saw them, they'd misinterpret their relationship.

For a moment, she pondered letting go. But somehow…the idea of people seeing them together as more than friends…she kind of… liked it.

Subtly, she glanced at the man beside her, fighting a blush. She was supposed to be the bold one tonight. So getting worked up over hand holding wasn't a good start.

If someone had told her two years ago that she'd be getting flustered over Luffy , she wouldn't have believed them. In fact, she would've laughed in their face.

But now…

Now she could only see him as the man she desires most.

The harder she stared at him, the warmer her face got.

Luffy seemed to feel her gaze. Casually, he turned his head in her direction, blinking curiously at the color dusting her cheeks.

"What're we gonna do?" He asked.

Once again, her dirty mind instantly imagined many things they could do together. But that could wait until later. For now, she just wanted to talk and have fun with him. Also teasing him was in the plan. She loved the faces he would make due to his ignorance of physical touch. It was simply one of her favorite things in the world.

Nami smiled warmly at him, loving the familiar, stupid look on his face. "We're gonna have fun." She sang.

Watching as his eyes lit up, the woman's chest fluttered in delight. Seeing that reaction made her want to do more things for him. It made her want to do everything in her power to incite that look from him, as many times as she could and make him the happiest guy in the world. As long as that dazzling look in his eyes never faded, she'd be content.

Nami squeezed his hand once more. "How about a game?"

Lets just say, when Nami suggested a game, he wasn't expecting something like this . Not that he was disappointed. It was just surprising that she suggested it.

Everyone was gathered around in a circle on the floor, laughing wildly as Usopp chewed on five chili peppers at once.

They were playing a game where someone would spin a bottle and whoever it landed on had to do whatever the person who spun it told them to do. For example, Brooke had spun the bottle and it landed on Usopp, so Brooke told him to eat the chili peppers.

As Usopp's eyes watered and his face reddened, everyone howled in laughter.

At the ridiculous face he was making, Luffy began crying due to how much he laughed; meanwhile, Nami laughed heartily, leaning into Luffy's side as they both bounced with glee. Their hands were still connected, hidden behind Luffy's knee to hide it from onlookers. To Nami, it excited her to hide such an act. When they approached the circle, no one seemed to notice them holding hands. If they did, no one seemed to care enough to say anything. So she settled for keeping it a secret. It was more exciting that way anyway.

After Brooke's round had passed, everyone took turns spinning the bottle until it came the turn of one of the stripe pirates. With a deep smirk, the pirate spun it.

They all eyed it excitedly, each a little nervous about the order they'd be given.

It started to slow down and when it came to a stop, everyone eyed the person it landed on. Ragan.

Now Ragan, he was seated next to Luffy. The reason? Well, out of all the areas in the circle to sit, Nami chose to sit near that guy , so Luffy quickly took a seat next to the man so Nami wouldn't.

Other than Ragan's close proximity to Nami, Luffy was quite happy with the circle. It was very cramped, so her body was pretty close to his. Occasionally, she would place her head on his shoulder as she laughed or gently brush up against his side. He kind of liked it. It relieved him in some type of way and made his chest heat up.

So now, they all eyed Ragan, smirking as they waited for him to be given an order.

The one who spun the bottle, Ragan's helmsman, smirked devilishly at his captain.

"Now… Captain. Since you're so amazing, why don't you kiss one of the ladies here tonight?"

"Ouuu." The circle hummed teasingly, eying the three females in the circle. Nami, Robin, and one of the stripes.

Quickly, Luffy's eyes darted to Nami who only laughed at the command.

There were two other girls in the room. Luffy thought Ragan might pick one of them instead of Nami.

Hopefully.

When he caught Ragan eyeing Nami, Luffy's features contorted. Instinctively, he squeezed her hand a little tighter, wanting to drag her out of the room and as far away as possible.

With dread, Luffy dragged his eyes back to Nami, catching her gazing at Ragan as well.

They were just staring at each other…

'Wait a second...'

The only thing Luffy could do was sit in the middle as they smiled nervously at one another. His eyes darted between the two, confused by this outcome.

'What the he-'

"Is that ok?" Ragan asked her.

'HUH?'

With troubled eyes and a parted mouth, Luffy sat there staring at the female, waiting for her answer. As he waited, he thought there was no way this was actually happening. Luffy couldn't believe it. He was genuinely in shock, puzzled on what he should do.

Nami let out an awkward laugh, placing her gaze on Luffy to deduce his reaction. In doing so, she noticed her captain looked a tad bit bothered.

But why?

Everyone in the circle was dead silent as they waited for something to happen, but honestly? Nami had no desire to kiss him. If anything, there was only one man she truly wanted, and he was sitting right next to her.

She considered declining, but it was a part of the game. And it was only a kiss. One that would mean absolutely nothing to her.

"Uh." As she stared at Luffy's disturbed features, her eyes remained wide and conflicted.

'What do I do?' She contemplated, biting her lower lip.

Slowly, she drifted her eyes back to Ragan.

'Would Luffy care? It's just a meaningless kiss.'

Plus, Luffy was so enthusiastic about games, she figured he'd understand her reasons. It'd probably just go right over his head. I mean, Luffy doesn't really understand the meaning behind kissing. Right?

'Or does he?'

Nami sighed.

It's not that big of a deal, so she shouldn't over think it.

'Yeah.'

Finalizing her decision, Nami shrugged her shoulders. "Why not?"

Once those words left her mouth, Luffy's jaw dropped. She… AGREED?!

Before he knew it, Ragan scooted to get closer to Nami. In doing so, Luffy felt his chest tighten uncomfortably.

His brows were furrowed as he processed the situation. Ragan was actually about to kiss Nami.

'He's…gonna kiss…Nami…'

Whilst Luffy sat there looking dumb, Nami hesitantly removed her hand from his.

Feeling her escape from his hold, his mouth opened in protest, yet the words died on his tongue. What should he do? Should he cause a commotion and put all the attention on himself? Should he walk out the room with Nami in hand? Or should he just punch Ragan in the face?

He really liked the last idea.

She removed herself from her captain's side, to sit in front of him instead. Nami began moving closer to Ragan causing even greater confusion to brew within Luffy.

He just couldn't help it!

Feeling helpless and lost, his attention switched between the both of them, frantically eyeing them as their bodies got closer and closer .

He just couldn't fathom it. Nami agreed to kiss him. She actually agreed!

And the way they chuckled as they stared each other in the eyes. It made him sick.

They were seriously about to kiss right in front of him. Of all places.

With anxiousness, Luffy observed as Nami nodded at the guy, telling him it was ok. This caused Luffy's lips to tighten in response. His heart kept throbbing. Everytime he thinks of them, together, he just…he doesn't like it.

Her eyelids fell shut and Luffy's lips fell in distaste. A sharp pain was resonating from within. It felt like it was chopping up his insides and impaling his heart.

Seeing her do that for Ragan, made him recall all the times she did that when he kissed her. Sometimes, Luffy would peel his eyelids open to take in her expressions. He loves doing it. But her doing it for someone else , right in front of him too, it felt so wrong.

Clenching his fist, Luffy stared harshly at their faces, mere inches apart. They weren't that close, but Luffy couldn't just sit back and watch any longer. No way in hell would he allow them to kiss. They don't need to! Nami shouldn't kiss anyone else. Only Luffy.

In an attempt to put an end to this annoying scene before him, Luffy immediately reached out, placed a hand on Ragans chest, and lightly pushed him away from her.

The cheers from before died down as they realized what just happened.

All eyes were on Luffy now. That included Nami who stared at him wide-eyed, not expecting that kind of reaction.

As Ragan observed Luffy's unnaturally blank face, he laughed awkwardly. The brown haired male turned his attention back to Nami and she shrugged, not realizing the reason for her captain's actions either.

This time, Nami leaned forward to quickly peck Ragan on the corner of his lips to get it over and done with. But, before she got the opportunity, Luffy blocked her, holding out his arm and gently pushing her back as well.

Once more, she looked at him, furrowing her brows in puzzlement.

Needing an answer, she twisted her head. "Luffy? What're you doing?" She said, mildly annoyed.

He didn't feel like talking, so his lips pulled into a deep frown, causing the girl to flinch a little.

The entire circle went quiet.

Usopp eyed the scene in amazement. He had suspected something weird was going on between Luffy and Nami, but this…

"Luffy." The sniper called out. "It's just a game." He reasoned.

They all eyed the strawhat's captain who sat crisscrossed in the middle of Nami and Ragan, frowning at the floor beneath him.

Zoro raised a brow, not fully understanding the meaning behind Luffy's actions; meanwhile, Brook lifted his hand to his mouth, lightly blushing. "Ohhh is our captain actually…yohohoho"

Sitting next to the skeleton, Robin snickered. "I think so." She answered.

Chopper was sitting on Robin's lap with confusion swarming in his eyes. "Luffy's what?" He asked rather innocently. Neither of them offered an explanation.

Franky smirked knowingly, but chose to keep quiet.

In all honesty, Sanji was relieved Luffy prevented a random man from kissing his beloved Nami. But the reason Luffy prevented the kiss was much deeper than Sanji originally thought. At first, the cook thought his captain was only fooling around with Nami whilst keeping her as a friend. But now…now he's positive it's more complicated than that.

As the pirates eyed the scene in front of them, Nami felt warmth spread throughout her body.

'He's…'

Her heart thudded in her chest making her feel lightheaded. There was no way to misinterpret it this time. The angry look on his face. His need to keep her away from other men. It's got to be…

'Jealousy…'

She blushed faintly, feeling happy? She knows jealousy isn't something you should knowingly put someone through, but…knowing that it bothered him seeing someone try to kiss her, it made her heart skip a beat. If he didn't have some sort of feelings for her, why would he care?

As the captain and navigator shared gazes, the man who spun the bottle (the one responsible for this mess) started making a fuss.

"Now now. It's in the rules. Whoever the bottle lands on, has to follow an order."

Feeling annoyed, Luffy lifted his head to glare at the man responsible for this whole ordeal. However irking he was, he wasn't wrong. It was in the rules. Whoever the bottle landed on had to-

'Wait.'

Luffy's eyes lit up as he thought of an idea.

From the pirate, Luffy's eyes landed on the bottle, placed directly in the center of the large circle. It's true that whoever the bottle lands on has to follow the order. So…

'Yeahh.'

Not even thinking twice, Luffy stretched his arm to grab hold of the empty sake glass.

All members blinked at the action, going quiet as they waited for Luffy's next move.

Rather than spinning it, Luffy gently turned the bottle to have it point at himself, then retracted his arm.

Nami was probably the most confused amongst them all. As she watched her captain fiddle with the bottle, she furrowed her brows.

Her eyes landed on Luffy, not sure what he thought would happen by him turning the bottle on himself. That was, until she abruptly saw him leaning into her.

'Wait what!?'

Luffy didn't utter a word.

'WAIT! WAIT! WAIT!

Her eyes widened at the view of his face mere inches from her.

'He's going to…Here!?'

Seeing his lips come dangerously close to hers, her heart skipped a beat.

She parted her lips in protest, trying to make him understand how bad of an idea that was. "Luf-

Before she could get a full word out, Luffy closed the distance, placing a soft kiss on her lips as if it were the most normal thing in the world.

His eyes were shut as he kissed her with a firm delicacy, but she could only sit there in pure shock and amazement, eying his closed eyelids in disbelief.

"EEHHHHH!?" The circle shouted simultaneously.

Every single member of the strawhat's gaped at the sight of their captain kissing their navigator. That's because they were aware they had slept together, but they've never actually seen them doing anything touchy like that.

"W-WHATT?!" Chopper screeched, going pale at the sight of Luffy's lips molded against Nami's.

Seeing Nami being kissed, Sanji's mouth fell open, dropping his cigarette onto the floor as his eye twitched. "N-Nami- san?" He mumbled.

"YOHOHOHO! Luffy-san, I'm so jealous!"

Feeling thrown off guard, Zoro's face contorted in absolute and utter confusion due to the fact that he's never seen Luffy in that state. It was a real jaw dropping moment for the swordsman.

Now Franky, he jolted up, making his signature pose and yelling, "OWWW! Suuuperr!" Which caused Robin to laugh while stroking Chopper's back to calm him down.

Feeling somewhat satisfied, Luffy pulled away slightly, eyeing her large eyes with his hooded gaze.

They were still mere centimeters apart, way closer than friends should be.

As he stared, she was trapped in the dark abyss of his eyes, unable to look away. Actually, she wasn't breathing either. The mental shock of him springing a kiss on her in front of everyone , shut her entire system down.

He licked his lips casually, backing away from her to side-eye Ragan. Luffy wanted to see if he was watching.

'Hehe.'

A smile grew on his lips when he saw the baffled look on his face.

Ragan seemed to understand Luffy's actions now. Earlier, when he rudely dragged Nami away from him, it was because-

"Oh." Ragan mumbled, catching Luffy's attention.

The strawhats watched closely as their captain grinned cheekily and gave Ragan a friendly pat on the back.

Luffy snickered in reaction. "Sorry. I stole your turn."

Ragan looked a little out of it, still processing.

Baffled, Usopp's jaw was on the floor as he released weird voice cracks. "L-Luffy you just-"

Seeming to notice everyone's shock, Luffy blinked. "Hm?"

Franky started chanting, once more applauding his captain's brazen move.

Nami on the other hand, couldn't fathom what just occurred. Despite being kissed by him many times before, she's never felt so caught off guard. She realized her heart was beating way too fast to be considered normal and she could still feel a feather light touch on her lips, a ghost of his actions.

He…he just kissed her.

In front of everyone.

Finally processing it, her jaw snapped shut and a magnificent blush overtook her features.

Fearfully, she turned to see the crew's reactions. Sure enough, they all saw.

Everyone, except for Robin, was losing their minds.

'What was he thinking!?'

They can't find out. She didn't want their relationship to get in the way of their journey. That's why she didn't want the secret out so soon.

But once again, Luffy didn't listen to a damn thing she said.

Of course.

Feeling embarrassed, and slightly upset, her neck twisted in the direction of her captain. He just sat there, staring at everyone casually. She couldn't help but glare at him in return.

Now annoyed by his indifference, Nami raised herself onto her knees and hit him over the head.

The circle went quiet again.

"You idiot!" She chastised, gripping the open flaps of his shirt and pulling him onto his knees with her. "What the hell was that?"

He furrowed his brows. "It was a kiss?" He replied, unsure of himself. Truthfully, he wondered if it was a trick question. She knew what a kiss was, so why was she asking?

It was obviously the wrong answer.

In reply to his smart ass comment, her brow twitched. Angrily, she stood up, pulling him with her.

"Nami I-"

"Shut it!" She demanded, and his mouth snapped shut.

Everyone watched with awe as she harshly gripped his wrist and dragged him out of the room.

There was an awkward silence that followed. That was until one of the stripe pirates turned to Usopp, whose jaw was still on the floor, and asked, "So are they together?"

Usopp's mouth was moving but no words came out. "I-I."

He just couldn't believe it.

So the room went silent once again.

Robin chuckled, breaking the tense atmosphere. "Well that was entertaining."

His protests went in through one ear and out the other.

"Nami, I just felt like it! He was-"

"Quiet!" She hissed, dragging him past the deck and towards the helm. The area where he rudely interrupted her conversation with Ragan.

As they walked up the stairs, Luffy frowned at her back. He didn't mean to make her mad. He just didn't want her to kiss that guy.

The woman continued pulling him, blushing the more she thought about what occurred only minutes ago. She was convinced that Luffy had no clue how big of a deal it was to kiss her in front of everyone. With the crew already being suspicious of them, seeing them lock lips probably confirmed all their suspicions.

'Dammit!'

Her brows furrowed anxiously.

Luffy stayed quiet as she guided him past the helm and towards the area her and Ragan were hanging out. The area where they were suspiciously touching each other's hair.

As he recalled the sight, Luffy deadpanned.

Once she came to a complete stop, Luffy's lips puckered awkwardly, not knowing what was going to happen.

As she gently released her hold on his lower arm, Luffy eyed her back with trepidation. He seriously had no clue what was about to go down.

'She's mad?'

Feeling a little uncomfortable with the silence, Luffy started bobbing his head back and forth, waiting for her to say something. Anything.

She didn't.

Instead, the view of her back was the only thing he was granted with. It made him curious as to what was going on in her head.

A little nervous too.

Hesitantly. "Nami?" He called out.

At first, he wasn't even sure if she heard him. So he repeated himself. " Nami? " He sang.

Still no response.

He frowned a little, not liking being ignored.

Unlike last time, he wasn't going to just stand there and wait for her to answer him. No. He strode up to her, grabbed her shoulder and gently pulled on it in hopes of turning her around.

She didn't seem too reluctant, considering she allowed him to do it.

Once he caught sight of her face, he couldn't help but be a little shocked .

Rather than angry, she looked…

'Weird.'

He just didn't know.

Her face was painted red, her lips were molded together tightly, and her eyes were directed to the side, not even looking him in the eyes.

Slowly removing his hand from her shoulder, he looked at her skeptically. "Are you mad?" He questioned.

As he studied her face inquisitively, he saw it redden more, only furthering his confusion.

Just as he went to ask her another question, she beat him to it.

Still refusing to look at him, her eyes started fidgeting. "W-what was that?" She asked again.

Luffy's brows furrowed. "What was what?"

Feeling embarrassed by her desperate need to know the meaning behind his actions, Nami shut her eyes tightly. "The kiss. What was that?"

Once more, his features contorted in utter confusion.

She was asking what the kiss was? That seemed like a pretty dumb question.

"Nami, it was a kiss." He replied.

At that, she shook her head, sighing heavily.

Finally, she met his gaze, catching him off guard.

"I mean why?" Her eyes were hooded, desperation swarming in her brown orbs. "Why did you do it?"

For some reason, Luffy felt stumped. He knew why, but he didn't know at the same time.

"I don't know." He replied, causing a disappointed frown to pull at her lips.

Her head lowered, hiding her eyes behind orange bangs.

Seeing that reaction made him feel guilty. She shouldn't frown because of him. She should smile. He promised he'd never make her smile go away, so why does it feel like lately he's been breaking that promise?

Rather than giving up, Nami took a step towards him, eyes glued on the floor.

Shyly, with her thumb and index finger, she grabbed the ruffled part of his shirt, tugging on it softly.

Luffy's eyes widened at the gesture. It felt like she was refusing to let him leave until he gave her a proper answer. His heart began to pick up pace once again.

Nami's eyes trembled as she eyed the red material between her fingers.

Almost frantically, her head rose to stare at him with longing. She was sure her emotions were pouring out of her, but she couldn't find it in her to care. If anything, she wanted him to see just how much she felt for him. Even if it was only a glimpse.

He kind of did.

Feeling a wave of emotions surrounding him, he was awe-stricken. The look in her eyes, it was so intense. Too intense. It was the same as when they were in the library. The kind of intensity that overwhelmed him. Controlled him.

He swallowed thickly.

Her body was pretty close to his, as well as her face. The man just didn't know what to do.

"Luffy…Explain it to me? Please? " She swallowed the lump in her throat, hoping she wasn't coming off as pushy or annoying. Not that Luffy would care.

The captain just stared at her, stunned.

The reason he did it? Well that was simple. He didn't want her to kiss Ragan.

"I didn't want you guys to kiss." He said simply, staring into her eyes which widened upon hearing that.

"Why?" She mumbled, almost too quietly for him to hear.

He heard.

He's not sure why he didn't want them to.

He just…didn't like it.

"I…"

Nami's body seemed to slowly be getting closer the longer he made her wait.

She just couldn't help it. There was a burning desire in her to hear what he felt. Even if she'd end up being disappointed in the end, she still had hope that…

'That he likes me.'

"Uh." Luffy's eyes widened at her nearing body, taking a small step back. His waist hit the rail and, with one hand, he grabbed the wooden plank behind him. "I just. I didn't like it." He said, feeling thrown off guard by Nami's abrupt change in behavior.

When she dragged him outside, he was expecting an argument. Considering that's how she usually reacted, he was prepared for it. But this? It was different. Somehow more serious.

His heart was erratically pumping within his chest.

With her close proximity and the sparkle in her eyes, he felt drugged. Like he wasn't acting like himself.

It was that same feeling that's been tainting him for these past two months. Controlling his actions. His heart . The hitch in his breathing, the heat that traveled through him. The burning desire to be near her. All of those troubling emotions felt all the more intense. It…It was clouding his judgment. He just didn't know what to do. Everything felt so hectic.

With her being so close to him, her breasts nearly brushing up against his chest and her face mere inches away. How can she expect him to act normal?

"Why didn't you like it?" She quickly asked, desperation gnawing at her. In return his heart clenched.

He instantly remembered the sight of Ragan trying to kiss her. Seeing her eyes fall shut to allow the guy. It made his lips tighten in disdain.

"You can't kiss him." Luffy stated, a little unsure of his answer.

Her brows furrowed, not really understanding. "Why?" She swallowed thickly. "We're not together."

Of course Luffy didn't understand that last part. It confused him, mainly because he and Nami were always together. They live on the same ship.

The confusion was evident on his face as he averted his eyes to the night sky. "Well, you just can't."

Feeling impatient with his unclear answers, Nami frowned. "Why can't I?"

Luffy squinted his eyes, unsure about how to answer. That's because he truly didn't know.

All he knew was that he didn't want her to kiss him. Or anyone for that matter. It was just-

'Wrong.'

Seeing his muddled expression, disappointment washed over her face.

I guess she shouldn't have expected anything out of this conversation, especially when Luffy was so in the dark about everything romance related.

Not being able to completely mask her disappointment, her eyes downcasted.

Luffy caught sight of it, and felt a little nervous.

He said the wrong thing again didn't he? The captain opened his mouth, but he just didn't know what to say.

As she pulled away from him, Luffy's eyes widened.

'No.'

Quickly, he reached out, grabbing her lower arm to make sure she didn't walk away. She's been doing that a lot lately. Walking away from him, leaving him utterly confused. He didn't want the same thing to happen again.

Nami felt her heart stop for a milisecond as he held onto her, preventing her from leaving.

Surprised, her eyes drifted to him. He looked just as surprised as she did.

"You're leaving?" He asked.

Seeing him look so dismayed, she gulped, feeling her face heat up.

"I can stay." She replied coolly, masking her emotions once more.

He nodded, releasing her wrist and leaning against the rail to stare at her blankly.

She watched as Luffy nodded to himself, as if affirming his mental thoughts, and said, "You can't kiss him."

Upon hearing the same response, Nami sighed heavily. He just didn't get it.

"Luffy, I can kiss whoever I want."

His brows furrowed. Why would she want to do that? "Huh? But why?"

She squinted her eyes at him, as if he should understand. "Because we're…" She looked away from him, a little disappointed with what she was about to tell him. "We're only friends, Luffy."

That felt like an understatement, but it was the hard truth. There was nothing between them other than that. Friends…

Now it was Luffy's turn to take a step towards her. "But-" His face contorted, not liking what she just said. "But why would you want to?"

She glanced at him, confused.

Luffy continued. "If you wanna kiss someone, just kiss me." He said seriously, unaware of what he was implying.

Nami's heart pounded.

Just what was he saying? She wasn't sure.

So just to squeeze more out of him, she asked, "What if I want to kiss someone else?"

Immediately, Luffy looked disturbed by her statement. His mouth parted and his brows scrunched together, not understanding her reasons for wanting that.

"No. Nami-" Luffy grabbed her shoulders, staring into her wide eyes. "You can't, ok? Only me."

Her heart was racing. This was…

Does Luffy…

"You…don't want me…to be with anyone else?" She slowly muttered, anxiously waiting for his response.

She gazed into his troubled eyes, feeling hope bloom inside of her. The way he's acting, it's as if…as if he wanted her for himself.

But that's crazy.

if that were the case, wouldn't that mean he-

She blushed, feeling his grip on her shoulders tighten.

" Only me, ok?" He said, hoping she'd understand and never try to kiss another guy like she almost did today.

Before she realized it, she was slowly nodding, not really aware of her actions.

At her confirmation, Luffy felt joy course through his veins. As he clinged onto her shoulders, a huge sigh of relief washed over him. His head hung low as he smiled cheesily at the floor.

Whereas Nami, she was still stunned. His desperate hold on her as he practically confessed how much he disliked her being intimate with other men.

'So earlier…'

When she was talking to Ragan about how much the sea changes your hair texture, Luffy must have caught them touching each other's hair. That would explain why he was so upset.

As she finally pieced it all together, a smile slowly grew on her lips. It kept on growing until a small chuckle escaped her lips.

Hearing her giggles increase in volume, Luffy lifted his head in wonder.

Her body was bouncing as she silently laughed at her captain's ridiculous actions throughout the night. When she saw his reaction to her laughing, it only caused more humor to wash over her.

She shut her eyes in glee.

The reason Luffy was being so strange was because he was jealous . Meaning she was right the whole time.

Seeing her laugh, a confused smile befell his lips. Was she laughing at him?

The girl tried speaking through her amused giggles, "Lu- fy ." She paused to laugh some more. "You're. You're such an idiot!" She taunted, leaning against the rail as she openly teased him.

Hearing that, Luffy's jaw dropped, offended. "Hey! It's not my fault!"

Nami tried calming herself, chuckling every now and then.

Wiping tears from the corner of her eyes, she glanced at his expression, nearly bursting out laughing at the butthurt look on his face.

"Oh? Then whose fault is it?" She mocked.

Luffy seemed stumped. "It's-" He fidgeted. "I-It's Ragan's fault!"

'Yeah. '

If that jerk didn't get so close, Luffy never would've had an issue. It's all because Ragan decided to hold her hand, to touch her hair, and try to kiss her. If he didn't do any of those things, none of this would've happened.

Nodding at his statement, Nami felt like pressing his buttons a little more.

"Ragan?" She feigned ignorance. "But he's very nice, how is it his fault?"

Luffy squinted at her. "Huh?" He said flatly. "Didn't you notice how much he was touching you?"

For some reason, Nami felt giddy. She just couldn't get over the fact that it really bothered Luffy.

She began to wonder if she should tell Luffy that Ragan had no interest in her. She knows this because earlier, he was telling her about this girl he met in his hometown. He said, once his journey was over, he would return home and spend the rest of his days with her. It was sweet. But hearing that story assured her that Ragan wasn't interested in her in the least. The only reason he got so excited to meet her was because, just like Nami, he was a navigator. They were able to bond quickly because of it. There were endless things to talk about.

It was …nice .

Well, until Luffy rudely interrupted.

Nami shook her head at Luffy's ignorance. "It's not like that Luffy. Plus I didn't really mind." She added.

Luffy's head flinched, surprised with her confession. "You liked it?"

"I didn't say-"

Luffy scooted down the rail, closer to her side. "But why? He's just a guy. I'm a guy too!"

Her brows furrowed. "What?"

Hastily, Luffy grabbed her hand, and brought it up to his chest.

She blushed as she felt his warm skin underneath her fingertips.

"See! I'm a man too."

She began to feel a little lightheaded. "Yes Luffy I know." She spoke quickly, not understanding where this was coming from. She seriously had no clue what went on in his head.

"You see! So if someone like Ragan tries anything, just remember I can do a better job then all of them."

Once those words left his mouth, her heart skipped a beat. Although it was kind of strange, his words seemed oddly serious. It's like he was telling her he was better than any guy out there, so she shouldn't be with anyone else.

'Damn.'

Earlier, Nami vowed to never assume he saw her as more than a friend, but when he says things like that, it's damn near impossible to resist hoping.

Feeling that special warmth flood her body, Nami smiled warmly.

With delicacy, she started stroking the plane of his chest, feeling the roughness of his scarred body beneath her fingertips.

She eyed her hands, trailing his pecs. Seeing him stiffen in reaction to her touch, made her heart flutter.

"So you're saying-" Nami's hand gilded towards his heart, pressing her palm flush against his chest to feel the beating of it. "You're saying you can please me better than any other man could?"

Although Luffy's breathing felt shortened, he couldn't comprehend what she just said.

" Please you?" He repeated, feeling drowsy when Nami raised her head to stare him in the eyes. Her lowered lids and small smirk was drawing him in.

Slowly, she nodded, resuming her sensual strokes on his chest.

Under the palm of her hand she felt the erratic pumping of his heart. Whether it was due to sexual desire or something else entirly, she didn't care. Just being able to make his heart pound like that boosted her ego.

Feeling a sudden thirst for him, her eyes hungrily trailed down his face to land on his lips.

Luffy swallowed thickly in response. He really wanted to kiss her. Considering the way she eyed his mouth with clouded eyes, she had the same idea.

The man only leaned back against the rail, as he allowed her soft hand to travel further down his body. She brushed past his nipple to caress the front of his left rib cage. He inhaled sharply when her finger began tracing each of his abdominal muscles individually.

"Nami." he whispered, feeling intoxicated.

Her breasts were now lightly pressed against his chest, stimulating him further.

She raised her chin, meeting his hooded eyes with her sultry stare.

The man felt himself tremble in response.

It was amazing how she did that to him. Rendering him completely weak and at her mercy just by touching him.

Without warning, her finger slowly passed his belly button, getting dangerously close to the waistband of his shorts. Luffy shuddered, impatiently waiting for her to do more .

He moved to grip her hips, but hesitated. After sleeping with her, he realized that he tends to squeeze things when he can't control his desires. The feeling just overwhelms him to the point of desperately clinging onto something. Last time it was her thighs and the time before that, her bedsheets.

Right now, he was trying his hardest not to grip her even though he knew he was slowly starting to lose himself.

Feeling him become more and more impatient, Nami licked her lips, watching as his dark eyes darted to her alluring, wet mouth. She parted them in response, grinning at his anxious expression.

He suddenly squeezed her hips, causing Nami to release a small gasp. Her airy sound made his blood rush south. It felt like her sounds alone were enough to send him over the brink.

Their chests heaved, equal desire for one another reciprocated through their heated eyes.

She looked so…

So…

Losing his patience, he leaned in, claiming her lips in an openmouthed kiss before she had the opportunity to pull away. The satisfaction of it left them yearning for more. Much more.

Nami hummed against his lips, stroking his abs to incite quiet grunts from his lips.

Wanting to take things a little further, her tongue slowly entered his depths and Luffy wasted no time returning the favor.

His passionate kiss and firm grip on her hips made her quiver, losing the strength in her knees.

However, it didn't matter how much she desired him. She wanted to make him, if not more, equally as desperate as she.

To do so, Nami added her free hand to the mix, placing it on his abs and sliding both of her palms down his body painfully slowly. She could feel his body shake, as well as his tent grow.

Rather than stopping at his abs, her fingers slid further down, teasingly sliding beneath the waistband of his shorts and stroking his sensitive skin.

The man pulled away from her lips to give a pained groan. "N-Nami." He gasped.

Now taking control, Nami pressed her breasts against him harder, watching closely as his eyelids fell shut.

His reactions made heat pull between her legs, confirming just how excited she was to get her hands on him again.

Originally, her plan was to kiss him a little bit then return to the party. But now…now she's reconsidering her options.

Luffy obviously wanted her as well, considering his erect member was pressing into her lower belly.

Seeing his face already tense and flushed, Nami smiled. Earlier, she did say she would have him begging her to stay with him. Let's see if she can make that come true.

As he breathed deeply, trying to calm himself, his head arched to the sky. The moment her hands fell beneath his waistline, he removed his hands from her waist in fears of bruising her again.

Meanwhile, seeing his neck so exposed, Nami took the opportunity to probe his neck.

With a feather light touch, her lips pressed against his sensitive skin in hopes of strengthening his arousal. There wasn't much of a reaction at first, but when she parted her lips and began gently sucking, he wrapped an arm around her waist and tightly gripped the rail behind him for support.

She continued doing that a few more times, enjoying the faint red marks she'd leave on his skin.

After she was satisfied with that, she moved to his throat, placing gentle kisses there. Every time her lips came in contact with his skin, his hold on her would tighten.

His strong arm wrapped around her as a plea for her to continue, made her smile.

She could feel his erection poking her, but she ignored it. No matter how eager she was to get her hands on him, patience was key.

Luffy on the other hand, was a wreck. She was really good at making him feel woozy.

With every kiss, every touch, he just couldn't get enough.

It didn't help that her fingers were hooked around his waistband, making him desperate for her to go a little lower. He needed her to touch him.

As she kissed the dip of his shoulder, he swallowed thickly. " Nami. " he called out, breathless.

The woman pulled away to stare him in the eyes. She made sure to gently stroke the skin right below the button of his pants. It made him tense up, wincing as he tried to remember what he was originally saying.

"Can you- gh. " He lost track of his thoughts once more as her hand slid further inside of his pants, rendering him breathless. With gritted teeth, he gripped the rail harshly as she neared his member, only to sigh in frustration when she trailed back up again.

When she removed her hands from his pants completely, his brows furrowed. That's definitely not what he wanted.

With hooded eyes he stared at her. "What're you doing?" He huffed.

Ignoring his arousal, Nami smiled 'sweetly.'

Feigning ignorance, she grabbed his arm that was wrapped around her waist and removed it from her body. As she stepped away from him, Luffy looked immensely troubled. So much so, that his arm reached out to grab her.

Before he got the opportunity, Nami caught his hand in mid-air, encasing it in both of hers.

She watched with glee as her captain tried hard to understand what was happening.

Nami just continued grinning at him. "We should go back inside. Everyone's probably wondering where we are."

Luffy's face froze, completely at a loss for words. Nami's not sure she's ever seen him look so confused and baffled at once.

"But-" he started but Nami patted his hand in a friendly manner.

The boy was too stunned to speak. She released his hand and began walking away as if nothing happened between them in the first place.

Luffy just stood against the rail, completely thrown off guard. Just when they were getting to the best part, she pulled away, leaving him in an awkward situation.

His brows furrowed, feeling really uncomfortable below the waist. I mean, he thought she'd help him out with it, but no? She wanted to go back to the party?

Luffy frowned, staring down at the slightly noticeable bulge in his shorts. He then raised his head to see how far Nami walked.

He really didn't feel like partying anymore. In fact, he'd much rather boot all the stripe pirates off the Sunny and spend the rest of the night with Nami.

'Yeah.'

Watching her fleeting back with awe, he just stood there like an idiot. He really didn't want to think too hard about it. So he chose to do whatever he wanted. And he wanted to be with Nami.

Before she got too far, he stretched his arm out, wrapped it around her middle and reeled her in.

She squealed as she momentarily got lifted off the ground. Her eyes shut tightly, bracing for impact, but when she stopped flying, she was a little surprised that it didn't hurt.

Now being pinned firmly by his side, she blushed.

"Wha-"

Luffy placed a kiss on her lips, silencing any protests she may have had.

Nami's eyes widened significantly.

Truthfully, she didn't want to go back to the party either. She'd much rather spend her time alone with him. Her walking away when he wanted her most was more of a test. She wanted to see if she could get him to beg. I guess, in a way , this was the same thing, right ? I mean, being reeled in like a fish wasn't exactly how she imagined things going, but hey, at least he stopped her from leaving in the first place.

When their lips disconnected, she couldn't help but feel a little amused by the comedic frown on his face.

"What the hell was that?" He asked, unwinding his arm from her torso.

Nami smiled, holding back a giggle. "Sorry?" She questioned, amused.

"Hmmm." He hummed then gently grabbed her by the waist, pulling a short gasp between her lips. His eyes flickered to her mouth, then darted back to her eyes.

"Well, don't do it again." He stated seriously, slowly spinning them around so she was now pinned against the wooden railing.

Her eyes widened in response.

Was he… commanding her?

A smile grew on her lips.

Feeling a sudden urge of playfulness, she unhurriedly raised her arms, gently wrapping them around his neck.

The man only eyed her in a daze, subconsciously moving closer to her. He brushed up against her chest as he did.

Just to tease him a little more, Nami leisurely ran her fingers along his hairline, smirking at the way his breath hitched. " Yes captain ." She whispered.

In response to her sultry voice, Luffy swallowed the growing lump in his throat. He's not sure why, but her saying that made him immensely hot. The tips of his fingers were tingling, itching to touch her.

The soft smirk pulling on her lips. It was mesmerizing.

Without knowing it, his head lowered to hers, greedy to take another kiss from her.

The woman didn't seem to have any objections. In fact, she raised her head to give him better access.

The hunger was growing, desperation and neediness crawling beneath his skin.

As he shut his eyes, completely giving into the sensation, their lips deeply molded against one another, igniting a fire within him that would take a lot of effort to put out. In reaction to that heat, he moved his hands to her back, sliding his hands beneath her tank and digging his fingertips into her soft skin. Not too hard though. He didn't want to bruise her again.

Feeling his large hands press against her bare back, she whined against his lips, causing him groan.

His tongue pressed roughly against hers, sending a jolt through both of them.

Nami gripped him tighter, forcing him to stay glued to her body. He had no objections.

In fact, his heart pumped vigorously while adrenaline coursed through his veins. The piece of him that craved her most was throbbing, dying to be relieved.

When her impatience got the best of her, she started rubbing her body against him, pulling a muffled groan from his lips and sending jolts of pleasure through him. The delicious friction was enough to make him freeze. His mouth hung open, releasing a hot moan into her mouth.

The errotic sound made her underwear dampen as shivers trickled down her spine.

Feeling hotter than she ever has, she pulled back to gasp heavily. Luffy did the same, but immediately tried to dive back in for another kiss. Nami reacted by turning her head upwards to block him.

Although desperate, Luffy wanted to take a minute to breathe as well. He chose to do so on her shoulder. They remained that way for a few seconds, trying to catch their breath.

It didn't help that their bodies were molded together but neither of them wanted to pull away.

Through her thin tank top, she could feel the warmth of his overheated chest on her hardened nipples. Another urge to rub against him passed over her, but she held off for now. They were still out in the open, anyone could catch them.

She focused on that fact a little more, suddenly becoming self-conscious.

What the hell were they thinking? Doing something like that somewhere so visible.

Nami blushed.

"Luffy." She heaved, still feeling him breath heavily against her shoulder.

"Hm?" He mumbled.

She glanced down at him, only to see a mop of messy black hair.

Breathing heavily, she said, "We have to stop."

Once those words left her mouth, Luffy froze. Almost immediately after, his head sprug up, meeting her gaze with his conflicted expression.

"No!" He argued.

Nami's brows furrowed. "What do you mean ' no?' Someone might see us!" She retaliated, causing his lips to tighten.

"Well-" His eyes wavered for a second, trying to think of a solution. "Oh!" His eyes lit up. "We can go to the library again! Yeah, no one caught us that time!"

A magnificent blush crept up her face. Her lips parted in shock as she recalled the heated moments they shared. When he took her right there against the door.

Realizing that was only a few hours ago, she felt embarrassed by their lack of self-control.

Could they not go one second without ripping each other's clothes off?

She sighed, fighting her embarrassment. "We really shouldn't do that kind of thing in the library either."

Luffy frowned. "Then where?"

She looked at him skeptically at first, but gradually became more and more flustered the longer they locked eyes.

He really wanted to sleep with her.

And when the man you love is that desperate to be with you, well, it sort of affects you.

"W-we…um…" She froze, realizing he was getting closer. "We…" She mumbled, feeling her eyelids lower as his nose bumped hers. "Luffy." She whispered.

The captain grinned with lowered lids. "Where?" He asked again, smiling wider when she ignored the question to try and kiss him.

Luffy pulled away before she did, only to feel himself gravitate towards her again. It just felt utterly impossible for him to stay away from her.

He doesn't think he could ever go back to the way things used to be. Now that he knows what being with her in a different kind of way is like, he can't revert back to friendly gestures. Not when she's made him feel such mind-blowing sensations.

As her breath wisped against his lips, Luffy's heart clenched. Once again, heat spread throughout his body as he stared at her. The intensity from before was returning, but now that he saw her eyes so clearly, it felt even stronger. More palpable.

Just as he lost himself, barely closing the distance to kiss her soft lips, a loud creak jolted both of them out of their daze.

Immediately, their head's whipped in the direction of the sound.

Nami felt her heart sink to the pit of her stomach.

There…was someone standing there.

Meaning…someone saw them.

Nami froze.

Luffy's arms were placed on the railing behind her, trapping her between him and the ledge. Their position was too conspicuous, so there was no way to misinterpret what was happening. Anyone who saw would immediately know they were up to something. That included the small, gray-haired girl who stood near the helm, red as a tomato. It would appear that the sight before her proved to be too much to process.

The orange haired navigator flushed red, not being able to take her eyes off the unfamiliar face.

Just like Nami, Luffy stared at the girl. However, he wasn't embarrassed in the least. Confusion was the only thing that washed over him.

"Who're you?" Luffy asked casually. It didn't go unnoticed that he never backed away from Nami. In fact, he stayed in the exact same position, mere inches from her face, as he talked to their onlooker.

The wimpy looking female before them, blushed harder, stiff as a rock. "I-I'm Sash. C-captain Ragan's chef."

Luffy smiled a little as he recalled Ragan briefly telling them about her admiration for the Strawhats.

"Oh Splash!"

From within his hold, Nami looked at him as if he were crazy.

Did he not realize what was happening?

In all honesty, Nami felt a little uncomfortable with the situation.

Mostly because Luffy's hard-on was lightly brushing against her lower abdomen and her underwear was immensely drenched.

It wasn't very pleasant chit-chatting with someone when they were in such a state.

When Sash spoke again, Nami's attention shifted back to the girl, wishing on stars that she'd leave.

"Y-you guys…I didn't know you guys were together…" She spoke quickly, staring at the pair in awe.

In return, Nami felt her chest flutter. A sudden surge of embarrassment flooded her, prompting Nami to correct the girl before she blabbered to her crewmates.

"We're not!" Nami defended, lightly pushing on Luffy's chest to increase the distance between them. "We were just-" Nami fumbled. "We were…uh-"

"Kissing." Luffy finished for her.

Silence.

A gentle breeze went by, filling the quiet atmosphere.

Menacingly, Nami turned her head in his direction. " Luffy…" She glared at his stupidly casual face.

"Hm?"

She whacked him over the head. "I was trying to cover it up!"

Frowning, Luffy scratched his head. "But why?"

Nami felt anger swell within her. "BECAUSE-" She paused to take a deep breath. Now was not the time to blow up.

He'd definitely get an earful later though.

"I'm sorry!" The meek girl spoke, staring at them with guilt swarming in her large brown eyes. "I asked the captain where you were Mr. Luffy and he said you were somewhere outside, so I kinda went looking for you and then. Well…" She shut her eyes tightly, probably recalling the sight of her idol making a move on a girl.

Sash bowed. "I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have roamed around your ship without permission!"

Both Luffy and Nami stared at her in surprise. Nami was the most startled.

'Is every member of the stripe pirates polite?'

Luffy scratched the back of his head, not really caring. "Nah don't worry about it."

They watched the girl rise from the bow to hesitantly glance at them. Upon noticing they weren't angry, she seemed to relax.

"So you two aren't dating?" She asked.

Silence.

After she realized what was said, Sash's eyes widened and she aggressively waved her hands in front of her body. "You don't have to answer, it's none of my business!"

Nami sighed exasperatedly. She knew the girl meant well, but she couldn't help but be a little annoyed.

Luffy turned to Nami with question in his eyes. "Dating?" He asked, causing nami's heart to skip a beat.

Before Luffy demanded an explanation, she turned back to Sash. "We're not dating."

With lowered lids, Luffy continued staring at Nami skeptically.

"Hmmm." He hummed but she ignored him. She really didn't want to explain the whole dating process to him.

Well…

Not right now at least.

Sash blinked at the pair. "Interesting." She mumbled under her breath. "I mean, you guys just seem so much like a-"

Nami interrupted, not wanting to hear the rest of her observation. "Sash, was it?"

Walking towards the girl in an intimidating manner, Nami smirked. The closer she got to her, the more Sash fidgeted.

The gray-haired girl was significantly shorter than Nami, so the chef had to arch her head to look her in the eyes. All the while Nami's smirk never vanished.

Leaning in, Nami lowered herself to Sash's ear and whispered, "Think you can do me a favor."

In the darkness of the women's sleeping quarters, impatient hands slithered beneath her blouse, yearning to remove the fabric which hid her soft skin. In response, she arched off the door, pressing herself roughly against his erect rod.

Their lips molded together. Tonguing each other's mouths, neither wanting to stop. The heat that spread through them as well as the sweat building up on their bodies. It was phenomenal.

Pulling away from his rough kiss, "Lu- fy…" She whined, finding his bare hands against her back torturously pleasurable.

The way she sounded calling his name made Luffy shudder, forcefully pushing her back against the door. The pressure made her mouth part in an airy moan.

The sound made his pants feel all the more constricting.

Through heavy breathing, Luffy spoke. "I'm gonna take your clothes off now." He huffed, grabbing the hem of her tank.

With a heaving chest, Nami released a small giggle. "Be my guest." She whispered, urging him to do whatever he wanted.

Getting dangerously close to her face, Luffy smirked then began peeling the thin piece of clothing off her frail body.

Rather than staring at her face, his eyes instinctively flickered to her chest, swallowing thickly when her skin slowly got exposed.

The woman could only stare into his desire-filled eyes with deep fascination. It made her chest tighten everytime he looked at her that way.

As he continued raising her shirt, she saw him lick his lips when her breasts got exposed.

To provide some assistance, she lifted her arms, allowing him to rid her of the obstructing material.

Seeing something flash in his dark eyes, her core throbbed. She wanted to see that same look as he reached deep inside of her.

Wrapping her arms around his neck, she smiled.

With the way he was eying her chest, it felt like her face didn't even exist anymore.

Just as she was about to call out to him, he brought his hand to one of her mounds, leaving her in wonder about what would come next.

With the gentlest touch, he swiped his index finger over her pert nipple. Heat flooded her face, a little startled that he was paying attention to her breasts of all places. That's because he's never particularly shown interest in them. He only ever kissed her on the lips then proceeded to remove her pants.

So she couldn't help but wonder where this would go.

As he centered his attention solely on her chest, embarrassment nipped at her consciousness. He probably was the only man in the world who could make her self-conscious. And…well, that's because…

'Because I love him.'

His fingertips lightly brushed against the side of her mound causing her breath to silently hitch. Next, she felt his thumb press against her nub, then move it around. She trembled against the door, shutting her eyes as lust pooled within her core.

Luffy was abnormally serious, which made her question what was going on in his head.

"So you can feel it from here too?" Luffy asked, finally flickering his eyes back to her face.

The woman's eyes widened, feeling warm and fuzzy as well as hot and bothered. Despite her arousal, she couldn't help but feel a little confused as to what he meant.

"What do you-"

Before she could finish, Luffy swirled his thumb along the surface of her hard bud, inducing another tremble of delight.

Luffy blinked. "You feel it from here too." He repeated. It wasn't a question this time.

She felt herself dripping at the grogginess in his voice as it sent shivers down her spine.

Their faces seemed to be drawing near the longer they locked eyes.

Their eyelids lowered further, feeling too possessed by the feeling to resist.

Just as Nami lifted her chin, aiming for a kiss, Luffy beat her to it. With a gentle firmness, he kissed her deeply, never ceasing his hold on her breast.

When her tongue started stroking his, he found that to be a good time to toy with her a little more.

An electric shock passed through her as he began trailing circles around her areola.

A soft moan vibrated his mouth and she quivered, not used to the source of that sensation being her breasts.

The man pulled away from her to see her reaction. When he stroked her nipple again, she lightly pressed her head into the door, causing his brows to furrow in response.

Luffy swallowed thickly, trying to make sense of everything.

"There's…" He spoke, slowly removing his hand from her mound to rest on her hip. "There's still a lot I don't know huh?"

Realizing he was already done fondling, Nami's eyes cracked open.

"Hm?" She hummed, not expecting the sudden stop.

They were still unbelievably close, but he seemed to be distracted.

As he gazed into her eyes, he felt his chest tighten as well as a fluttering in his stomach. "I don't really know anything about sex." He clarified, causing heat to flood her cheeks.

"W-well you know the basics. It works for me." She encouraged, but that didn't seem to help at all.

"Yeah but-" His eyes darted to the side of the room. "I had a weird conversation with Sanji…"

The woman instantly feared what it could've been about.

Luffy's eyes darted back to hers as he remembered what he was supposed to tell her. "Since we've been having se-"

Nami shut her eyes tightly. "Stop saying it!"

Luffy blinked. "Saying what?"

Nami glared lightly at him, not wanting to admit the fact that him saying 'sex' embarrassed her.

"S-sex." She averted her eyes from his blatant stare. "It sounds so crude."

Luffy furrowed his brows. "Crude? Like gross?"

Her features contorted. "Not gross but…I don't know."

Luffy just stared at her, not understanding.

That was until he recalled something Sal, the bar owner, had told him.

"Alright well, making love is a more dignified way of saying it. Most people prefer it, but you can call it whatever you want."

Did that mean Nami preferred calling it that?

"Should I say we're making love instead?" He asked casually.

Hearing that, she froze, staring at him in utter shock and disbelief.

'Did he just say…'

"What?!" She squeaked, feeling her body heat up.

She was positive he didn't know the implications behind what he just said, but a girl could dream right?

"Luffy you…if you say that…"

The man didn't understand. Rather, he started rubbing soothing circles on her hips which made her lose her train of thought.

"Y-you..um." Looking into his steamy gaze, her eyes felt heavy. As his face neared, she whispered against his lips. "You can't call it that."

Rather than pulling away, Luffy rubbed her hips with more pressure, occasionally slipping a finger or two below the hem of her skirt.

"Why?" He mumbled, feeling intoxicated by the close proximity of her lips.

"Because we're not…"

'We're not in love.'

Nami stopped herself. That's because she was in love with him, but Luffy…

Should she even say it?

With desperation, she locked eyes with him, their noses were grazing one another, both craving the kiss that made them tremble in excitment. Solidifying her will, she whispered, "You don't love me like that."

Something flashed within his eyes. Something she couldn't identify.

Luffy was unnaturally quiet as he bore his eyes into hers.

He wasn't…agreeing?

Nami felt her heart speed up.

'Why isn't he saying anything?'

Feeling needy, her arms tightened around his neck, pulling him a little closer.

Still no response from him.

The reason was because Luffy didn't want to reply. Liya told him he had to be sure before he said anything, so he just stayed quiet. He didn't want to say he didn't love her, because what if he actually does? Then that'd make him a liar.

So, he settled for a kiss instead. He surged forward, pressing his lips against her own. Through hooded eyes, he gazed at her, waiting for her eyes to fall shut.

With little to no reluctance, her eyes lowered, completely giving into the bubbly feeling growing within her chest.

Seeing her eyes close made his heart clench. He soon followed in suit, pulling her hips towards his lower half.

Enticingly, she wrapped her arms around his neck further, molding their bare chests together. It was a pleasant reminder that she was topless.

It was apparent that his erection stood tall, pressing into her. How had he forgotten about it for so long?

Every time things got more heated, they kept getting distracted. Not this time though. For some reason, Luffy felt very motivated. Like he had all the energy in the world. Hopefully he didn't pass out after sleeping with her. There were still random people on his ship that he had to deal with.

When he suddenly deepened the kiss, her body immediately reacted. She pressed herself harder against his chest, feeling deprived of his touch.

Sure she loved kissing him, but the amount of time they've just been kissing, was too long. She wanted more. So much more.

Although he never heard her, he couldn't agree more.

He was so hard it was starting to hurt.

These hot kisses just weren't doing it anymore.

He pulled away, gasping heavily. There was a string of saliva bridging between their lips which kind of mesmerized him.

From her lips, he shifted his eyes to take in her whole expression. In doing so, he felt his fingers ground into her hips a little harder.

She looked so… so…

He didn't know! All he knew was that he couldn't take his eyes off of her. It was like staring at good-looking food and he couldn't look away. Actually, she looked better than food. He never even thought that was possible.

Swallowing thickly, he loosened his grip on her hips to glide them up to her waist. Once his hands encased her waist, he lifted her off the ground to place her on his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

The woman squeaked in shock, mildly embarrassed by the way he was carrying her.

"Luffy! What're you-" She stopped mid sentence when he started lowering her onto her bed.

'Oh…'

That wasn't a romantic way of carrying her, but she should just be grateful he didn't drop her onto the bed. That'd be immensely embarrassing.

As she sat on the mattress with her legs bent to the side, she stared up at him.

He wasn't looking at her anymore, instead, he preoccupied himself with untying the string around his neck to remove his hat.

He placed it on her nightstand, then met her eyes once more.

She blushed at the sudden contact, feeling incredibly exposed under his intense gaze.

As his eyes trailed down her body, she felt the urge to cover her bare chest. So she did.

Luffy's eyes darted back to hers, not really liking that gesture.

She averted her eyes, blushing madly under his scrutinizing gaze.

When she felt the bed dip, signifying he was approaching, she felt her heart leap out of her throat.

She's not sure why she was acting shy. They've already been through this a few times.

Maybe it was because something felt different about him. She just doesn't know.

Luffy grabbed the arm she used to hide her chest, or rather, the arm she attempted to hide her chest with, and slowly pulled it away, exposing her to him once more.

Rather than staring at her breasts, he was staring at her face with a small pout on his lips. "Why're you hiding? I've already seen you." he said childishly, a complete opposite to his actions.

Flushed, she tightened her lips, refusing to look at him. "I don't know."

"Then can we keep going?"

He neared her on the bed, causing her to grit her teeth in embarrassment.

"Yes! Stop asking!" She whisper-yelled, not wanting to look him in the eyes.

Luffy seemed to notice her reluctance, so he grabbed both sides of her face and forcefully made her look in his direction.

Her eyes widened.

"Much better." He grinned.

The woman's brow twitched in reaction. That was too cute.

As he cradled her face, she felt her stomach swarm with butterflies. Without warning, he leaned forward, placing his wet lips on her swollen ones for only a second, then pulled away with the same grin on his face.

She just stared, unsure of what to do with her body.

Everything felt so random. It's like, every time things got more intense, something would happen that killed the mood. Like that girl interrupting them, or Luffy's random mood shifts.

Were they actually going to do it this time?

She swallowed thickly.

He seemed really normal. It wasn't arousing, just cute . The small smile on his lips as well as the way he cupped her face.

It made her heart pound, but in an innocent kind of way.

I mean, sure she loved it when he did things like that, but right now… right now she was on the verge of screaming in frustration. She's positive that she's more wet than she's ever been in her life, and the man in front of her wasn't doing anything about it.

Well, to be fair, she wasn't exactly doing anything about it either.

Didn't she say she was going to make him beg? Where did that mindset go?

I guess once he removed her shirt, all her confidence went with it.

That didn't matter though. Now was not the time to be shy! Nami's the type of person who clearly states what she wants, which is exactly what she intended to do.

"Luffy." She said confidently, staring into his onyx eyes. "Can…" Her heart pounded. She tried to swallow all of her anxiety, but when her sentence came out… "C-can you touch me…"

'Wow.'

That has got to be the worst show of confidence ever.

Seeing Luffy's smile widen, her embarrassment returned tenfold. To tackle her request, he began leaning in once again.

Immediately, she shut her eyes.

Rather than a kiss on the lips, she felt…absolutely nothing?

Curiously, she peeked at him, cracking her eyes open to see why he was hesitating.

The look of suspicion on his face was something she definitely wasn't anticipating.

"Luffy?" She questioned, confused.

He placed one of his hands on her thigh in deep thought.

She tensed for a millisecond before getting used to the feeling.

His eyes followed his hand as it calmly stroked her leg.

"How?" He questioned, furthering her puzzlement.

Her brows scrunched together. "Hm?"

His eyes darted back to her's for an answer. "How should I touch you?" He clarified.

Nami felt heat travel through her. She squeezed her thighs together to sooth the aching between her legs but the action only made her shiver in excitement.

"H-how?" She repeated, unsure how to answer that.

Determined, Luffy nodded seriously. "Sanji gave me this picture book and I was looking through it and it just seemed so different then what we normally do."

The woman's face exploded with color. "W-what book?!" She quickly asked, terrified of the images he was exposed to.

Luffy raised his head to the ceiling in thought. "Uhhh I don't remember the name, but it was about sex."

Her mouth fell open, shook that Sanji gave him such a book.

But wait…

Why was Sanji giving Luffy books about sex!?

"Why would he-" Nami's entire body froze.

'Sanji-kun knows, doesn't he?'

Luffy blinked at her. "Did I not tell you? Sanji already knows." He chuckled, scratching his cheek awkwardly. "Hehe, my bad."

She deadpanned, looking at him with a soft glare. "Next time, don't forget."

Luffy ignored her, continuing where he left off. "Anyways, there was some weird stuff in there. I mean, the first page was how we normally did it, but then…" Luffy averted his attention, shifting uncomfortably. "There was like…weird positions and-" His eyes landed on her for a short while before darting to a random area of the room.

Although embarrassed, Nami couldn't help but feel curious. What on earth could have made Luffy act in such a way.

"What was it?" She spoke slowly.

Luffy rubbed absent-minded circles on her thigh, then swallowed thickly, visibly nervous.

"The guy in the book…he was uh-" Luffy looked around the room, as if someone else was listening. When he turned back to her, he leaned in to whisper which made her extremely curious.

She leaned in as well, turning her head slightly to give him some access to her ear.

His breath fanned against the lobe as he said, "Instead of putting his thing inside of her he…he used his mouth. "

The woman's face flared. Quickly, she backed away from him to slap a hand over the ear he just spoke in to.

"W-WHAT?!" She stuttered, feeling her heart pound at the implication.

Luffy nodded aggressively because he reacted similarly when he first heard about it. "I know right! He was licking her button thingy, then after a while he put his tongue inside the-"

Nami shut her eyes tightly. "STOP!" She demanded, too embarrassed to hear the rest.

That's because she already knew a little about the act. When she first read about it, she was eighteen. It sort of grossed her out, so she never fantasized or even thought about it.

But…

Her eyes peeled open, staring at her captain's wide eyes. Slowly, she trailed her eyes down, studying his reddened lips.

Him using his mouth? Down there? That was just…just…

An image of him gripping her thighs tightly while sucking on her clit flashed in her mind.

Nami blushed, whipping her head in the opposite direction of him.

She was totally imagining it now.

The blatant fact that she liked the idea made her severely unsettled. Even Luffy seemed weirded out by it.

Or so she thought.

"Wanna try?" He asked, causing her eyes to pop out of her skull.

She glanced at him through the corner of her eyes. "W-what?" She questioned, as if terrified by the idea. She chose to ignore the fact that a spark of excitement ignited from within her.

Luffy continued stroking her thighs, this time aware of his actions. The intensity made her quiver and squeeze her legs together once more. When she did, the lips of her core clamped around her clit, sending jolts of pleasure through her. Her body was screaming at her to do it again. So she did, trying to hide the fact from Luffy who continued to stare at her.

Her mouth nearly fell open in a show of her arousal, but she caught herself before it did. Instead, she settled for sneakily pleasuring herself all the while staring Luffy in the eyes.

Luffy on the other hand, waited for her answer.

Truthfully, he really wanted to try using his mouth on her. He never would have thought to eat a girl, so now he couldn't stop wondering what Nami would taste like.

His heart sped up in trepidation, hoping she'll agree to his request.

So he continued stroking her thighs to pass the time. Although, now that he thought about it…she was starting to look kind of strange. Her eyes seemed to glower and her lips were trembling. Under his palm he could feel her thigh flex, then soften. It confused him beyond belief.

Luffy's brows furrowed, not understanding the face she was making. It kind of reminded him of the face she'd make when he touched her.

'But I'm not touching her?'

His eyes fell to her thigh that he was stroking. Was she reacting that way because he was touching her leg?

To experiment, Luffy removed his hand. When she didn't stop her weird motions, he redirected his gaze back onto her.

"Nami?" He questioned.

Watching her body shiver in response made him blink curiously.

Now with great interest, he watched her closely, making sure to study her body language.

The harder he looked, the more interested he became.

Her movements were oddly alluring. Her skirt rode all the way up her legs, giving him a brief view of her underwear every time she relaxed her legs.

He felt the saliva exponentially building up in his mouth making it harder to swallow.

Just watching her legs made him excited. The longer he watched, the harder he became. Luffy shifted where he sat, desperate to get his hands on her, yet resisted because he was enjoying the show.

Nami's eyes were shut tightly as she continued. Honestly she wanted more, but she can't outright touch herself right in front of him… right?

Absentmindedly, her mouth fell open and a soft moan, almost too low to hear, escaped her lips.

She froze, trembling with need and desire, to look at her captain's reaction. Sure enough, he heard it.

With how wide his eyes were, there was no mistaking it. She shivered once more, wanting so desperately to continue.

She's positive the redness of her face hasn't gone away. If anything it was worse than before.

Her eyes were clouded with want. She saw him shift where he sat, drawing her attention to his lower half. When she caught sight of a very noticeable bulge in his shorts, her insides throbbed.

Seeing her staring at his manhood made him swallow thickly.

'She wants me to touch her right?' He thought to himself.

With little self control, he felt himself gravitate towards her.

Placing his palm on her thigh, he slouched to get better access to her lips.

Nami's breath hitched at his close proximity, yet she immediately allowed him to connect their lips, tonguing his mouth.

Instantaneously, a soft whine escaped her and in a desperate need to get closer to him, she shuffled towards him on the bed.

Luffy wasn't fully aware of what she was doing, too lost in the feeling of pure ecstasy her tongue granted him.

When she retracted the appendage and gently suckled on his bottom lip, a low groan vibrated his chest. She nibbled on his lip with her teeth then released him, making his breathing harshen. As she pulled away with hooded eyes, Luffy felt himself already raising his arm to pull her back into his hold.

Enticingly, she placed both hands on his shoulders, lifted herself onto her knees, then crawled onto his lap.

Luffy's brows furrowed at first, but when she lowered herself onto his tent, a hiss escaped his lips. Although it felt good, it felt so tight in his shorts that it kind of hurt.

He grabbed her waist and lifted her off a little to ease the pressure.

"N-Nami." He huffed, meeting her confused gaze. "It's too tight." He grit. It was throbbing so much. It felt like he would burst any second.

She seemed a little confused at first but soon nodded in understanding.

Nami placed both of her knees on each side of his thighs causing him to shut his eyes tightly. He really wanted to touch her.

As she wrapped her arms around his neck to finger the back of his hairline, Luffy shivered in delight.

Lowering herself to his ear, she released a hot breath against it making him grip her waist desperately.

She brushed her lips against the shell of his ear to deliver an important order. "Take them off then." She hushed, causing him to release a heavy breath.

"My shorts? " He questioned, breathless.

Nami nodded against the side of his face, running her fingers up the back of his head and pulling on his hair slightly.

Luffy found himself quickly removing his hands from her waist to fumble with the button on his pants.

He swallowed the growing lump in his throat, not being able to concentrate.

Nami seemed to notice his trouble, so she backed away from him to give him the room to remove his clothes.

Luffy's hands were shaking as he undid the button. When he gripped the zipper, he wasted no time pulling it down, trembling at the way it arched over his bulge.

He could feel Nami's eyes on him, only making him even more ansty to get the stupid thing off.

His hands looped around the waistband and he immediately pulled them off.

Nami waited for him to be rid of the material, resisting the urge to squeeze her thighs together.

As his bare manhood came into view, she felt her mouth water and her abdomen flex.

They started kissing outside about half an hour ago. So let's just say she was feeling a little needy.

Just as Luffy dropped his shorts onto the floor, Nami threw herself at him, smashing her chest into his own and working her mouth against his.

Soppily kissing her back, he wrapped his arms around her torso, holding her tightly against his chest, groaning at the feel of her nipples rubbing against him.

Although he loved the feeling, his erection felt immensely deprived of attention. So, he lowered one of his hands to her lower back, right below her rear, and pushed her against him.

His mouth shot open and a husky moan blessed her ears.

The sound made her tremble, reminding her just how ready she was for him.

As he continued rubbing himself against her abdomen, Nami's breath hitched, pulling on his hair a little harder than before.

Luffy placed his chin on her shoulder, gripping her insanely tightly as he ground his pelvis against her.

"N-Nami." He grit.

It…

It wasn't enough. He needed more . In all honesty, he wasn't sure what would be enough. With how turned on he was, he feared he might do something too harshly. Just like last night when he bruised her.

Luffy groaned, feeling his tip brush against the soft skin of her stomach. It was incredible, but not enough . The pleasure and frustration combined was driving him insane.

The woman on top of him was in a similar state, but she was more frustrated than anything. It was hot when he touched her with his piece, but that did nothing to ease her impending arousal.

Just when she tried to pull away from him, she couldn't, his grip held her in place as he continued grinding against her.

She flushed. " Luffy." She called in an airy voice, only making his muddled brain more jumbled then it already was.

" S- Shit!" He grit. It wasn't enough, but he couldn't find it in him to stop.

Nami blushed, feeling him get a little more rough.

"L-Luffy?" She questioned, not knowing what she was doing to him.

Everytime she'd say his name, it sent thrills of pleasure coursing through his blood.

"Sorry. Nami." He shut his eyes tightly, trying his hardest to stop. " I' ." He grit.

The woman felt herself dripping in response to his unhinged voice.

"I just-" Nami paused, eyes widening when she realized his hand started to travel further down her back and onto her rear. " L-Luffy. I need to-" She released a small squeak.

'He's..grabbing my-'

The woman placed both hands on his shoulders in an attempt to pull herself off his chest.

In doing so, she took a seat on his lower thigh, blushing profoundly when he yanked her back to him.

He began jerking his hips, needing more friction. Every time he did, his thigh would rub against her damp underwear causing her eyes to widen.

The sensation made her mouth water. " Lu-fy." She sang, gripping his shoulders as he pressed her abdomen harder against his piece.

" M-more." he whispered harshly into her ear sending shivers down her spine.

"L-let me take off my- mnnn." She tried to get him to stop, but he didn't seem to have control over his actions.

When his grip on her tightened, she shut her eyes tightly, gasping at the way he thrusted against her.

" Shit! Ahh-" His fingers dug into the soft skin of her bottom, consequently pulling a loud moan from her.

Her sounds as well as the overwhelming friction, sent him over the edge. With a few more powerful thrusts, she felt hot liquid spill between their bodies, coating the underside of her breasts, her stomach, and his abs in its substance.

While he jerked his hips a few more times, she blushed madly, realizing he just came all over her.

As he loosened his grip on her, she slowly started pulling herself off his chest.

In doing so, she was finally able to get a glimpse of his face, when she did, desire traveled through her, prickling beneath her skin and pouring out of her core.

She licked her lips.

Luffy's head was thrown back, eyes sealed shut as he tried to catch his breath.

The sweat made his skin glisten in the moonlight, making her mouth part in awe.

He was truly handsome. Situations like these made that even more apparent.

From his face, her eyes began traveling down his body, blushing at the sticky liquid trickling between the crevices of his abdominal muscles.

As she allowed him time to catch his breath, she removed herself from his thigh to rip off her skirt and annoyingly drenched underwear.

Luffy could feel her shifting on the bed, but kept his eyes closed.

He didn't mean to do that, but when she threw herself at him, he just couldn't hold back. Not when he was sporting an erection for thirty minutes straight.

As he sat there in his own thoughts, he realized something strange…

He…still wasn't satisfied?

Usually after he climaxed, he'd be wiped. Extremely satisfied too. But-

Luffy's eyes peeled open to stare at the woman before him. Seeing her pull her undergarments off made his blood rush south once more. Focusing on the area between her legs, he noticed how incredibly soaked she was, it only furthered his lust for her.

She tossed her last pieces of clothing onto the floor then met his gaze.

Nami was a little surprised to catch him staring at her with such an intensity, so much so that she flinched a little.

He then brought his hands to his shoulders, grabbed the inseam of his red button up, and peeled off his body.

Seeing him remove his clothing in such a way made heat boil in her belly.

It's like he was communicating to her that he wasn't done yet…it somehow thrilled her.

As he absentmindedly dropped his shirt onto the floor, she felt her chest flutter in excitement.

Without a second to spare, Luffy crawled towards her.

As he neared, she shifted herself towards the pillows, feeling her heart pound so much, she felt it in her ears.

The captain's leer, intensified the closer he got. The dark look in his eyes left goosebumps on her skin.

'Just what is he planning?'

His body arched over hers, forcing her to fall back onto her elbows with wide eyes.

He gripped her knees then pulled them apart, just enough for him to fit between them. He didn't stop there, in fact, he placed both hands on either side of her, trapping her within his reach, then continued closing the distance until she laid her head against the pillows.

The palpitations of her heart fastened. He wasn't looking away.

The usual cheerful man that she's so used to was nowhere to be found.

"Luffy?" She whispered, wondering if he was ok.

In response, he placed a hand on her hip, pulling a soft gasp from her.

To be fair, she had initiated this. Her kissing him on the soldier's dock instigated it. So she should feel a little proud, no?

When his hand traveled past her hip to brush against her thigh, her eyelids lowered, feeling heavy. In a desperate attempt to give him a hint, she spread her thighs for him.

If his adams apple hadn't bobbed up and down, she wouldn't have known if he noticed or not.

He did.

Of course he did.

Although he seemed pretty calm, he was holding back. Holding back because he felt like he was a little too harsh last time. He just wanted to make sure he did it in a way that she wouldn't get hurt.

It was just so hard because of how fragile she seemed.

Seeing her sultry eyes, Luffy shuddered.

'Calm down. Calm down. Calm down.'

Despite his internal pleas, he was still drawn to her. It was almost impossible to resist.

When her palms found rest on his shoulders, rubbing them suggestively, he shut his eyes tightly.

Nope.

Yeah it was impossible to hold back. Especially when she did things like that.

"Luffy." She called out softly, lifting her thigh to brush it against his hip. "I'm ready."

His brows furrowed, pained.

How could he resist?

Closing the distance, he placed a soft kiss onto her lips. In response, she gingerly looped her arms around his neck as he continued kissing her deeply, slowly losing himself in the process.

His hips lowered, drawing towards the place that he longed to enter.

Their chests pressed tightly against one another, pulling a muffled groan from his lips.

He felt impatience gnawing at him.

Her soft body, plush breasts, and whiney voice.

It felt like his string of self-control would snap at any second.

His tip brushed against her soaking folds, telling him just how wet she was.

'Relax.' He reminded himself.

His tongue invaded her mouth, far from gently, and he rubbed her thigh, trying his hardest not to grab her.

As he kissed her, thoughts of the entire night replayed in his mind. Their argument which led to steamy sex in the library, the arrival of the sripe pirates, Ragan and Nami's weird conversation, the game where Ragan almost kissed Nami, just everything.

Ever since Ragan appeared, he's been on edge. Now that Luffy has Nami in his grasp, something in his consciousness was screaming at him. It was telling him to do something, but he couldn't figure out what it was.

Her, with someone else…he didn't like it. She was supposed to be with him and only him.

With these thoughts in mind, Luffy rubbed his rod against her gushing folds, shivering in delight.

She pulled her head away from his lips to gasp heavily, writhing, softly begging him to enter her.

It made his heart clench.

'Only me.'

She can't say stuff like that to other people.

Luffy won't allow it.

Shaking his thoughts away he slowly began inserting himself, gritting his teeth at the amount of feeling that pulsed through every fiber of his being.

Nami on the other hand, dropped her hands from his shoulders to grip the sheets below her. She was feeling it more than usual, so she didn't want to put any nasty cuts on his body since she had a bad habit of scratching him.

He slipped inside with ease, trembling at the amount of fluid that surrounded him.

With a quick thrust of the hips, he reached deep inside of her causing her head to arch to the ceiling.

Luffy didn't give her time to adjust. No way.

With need, he drew his pelvis back, then surged forward, groaning at the indescribable feeling.

Nami's mouth fell open as he worked himself into a comfortable pace.

" Ahh." She moaned, slightly arching her spine off the bed as he invaded her insides.

It was very noticeable that she wasn't that tight anymore and the juices gave her little to no friction.

Luffy seemed to notice this fact too. So he thought of trying one of the things he saw in the book.

Quickly, he lifted himself off of her to sit on his knees. The woman below him furrowed her brows at the action.

He didn't utter a word of explanation. Instead, he grabbed the backside of her knee and hooked it around his elbow.

After that was done, Luffy stared at her naked form, completely on display for him.

He's not sure why he never really looked at her while having sex. She looked incredible.

Seeing him openly stare, Nami was beginning to feel a little embarrassed being so exposed. Plus this positioning was kind of odd . "What're you- mmmn." She hummed, feeling him rub his tip along her slit.

Without a word of warning, he slipped inside. Instantly he could feel the difference. It was tighter this way. More feeling to it.

Nami felt it too. Her eyes widened and her body trembled.

" Ahhh-Luf- gahh!" She cried out, needy and desperate.

As he pushed harder, her mouth hung open. Every drag of his hard length made her twist and turn.

"Ahhhh!" She moaned, quite loudly, causing her to slap a hand over her mouth as he continued drilling into her.

With every push, it felt like he was giving her life. The heat that swarmed within her. The churning in her gut. It was consuming her.

His low grunts and whiny moans made her quiver.

"Ghhh- Nami! " He moaned, causing her eyes to crack open to peek at him.

When she did, she felt her insides tighten. In response to that, her companion trembled. Gritting his teeth harshly as he pushed with more effort.

Luffy didn't know what was happening to him, but he really didn't care.

From this position, he could see everything. And by everything, he meant everything.

His eyes flickered to her core, watching his shaft disappear then come out slick in her substance. Actually seeing it was immensely different then only experiencing the act. Seeing himself enter her made something swell within him. Not exactly pride, but…but something. All Luffy knew was that he was glad he was the only one Nami did this with. He couldn't imagine her doing it with someone else. When he did, he found himself thrusting a little harder, actually upset about the thought.

As he thrusted with more force, his eyes darted to her face to see her reaction; however, seeing her hand over her mouth made his brows furrow.

He leaned forward, stretching her leg in the process, and continued his steady thrusts.

The woman's eyes widened, as well as Luffy's.

'It got tighter?'

With every push, he shivered. But even through his hazy mind, he managed to reach out, grab her hand, and remove it from her mouth.

Nami's head twisted and turned. "N-No -oahhh- I can't-" She fisted the sheets below her until her knuckles turned white. "Can't- AaH -keep! Quiet!" She grit, feeling too overwhelmed to stay silent.

Luffy shook his head aggressively, trying to focus long enough to form words.

He dragged himself out, then slammed back in, repeatedly pulling loud cries from the girl.

"Then. Don't ." He grit. " Gahhh- DAMN !" he cried out, feeling the tightness in his loins increase exponentially.

The pulsating feeling of pure pleasure rocked him to his core. The sight of her squirming beneath him, getting louder and louder with every push, he felt drugged. Lightheaded too.

So in order to intensify that feeling, he tried pushing deeper, reaching further into her depths to brush his tip against her womb.

Nami felt like screaming, but when her mouth hung open, not a sound came out. Her body arched. That indescribable feeling washed over her, making her muscles lock and her legs shake.

Since it wasn't their first time together, Luffy knew it wasn't a bad thing when she shook. In fact, it was a sign that he was doing a good job. So he kept a steady pace, hitting as deep as their position would allow, making sure he brought her to that peak he was aiming for as well.

That tightness within him never left. On the contrary it only intensified, making him more and more frantic as he pounded into her. He just couldn't get enough.

He gasped heavily, feeling sweat drip down his body. " Gahhh, NAMI!" He groaned, sealing his eyes shut as he felt her flesh tighten significantly.

"LUFFY! I'm-Ahhhh!" She lifted the sheets off the mattress as her body quivered, trembling intensely as a flood of pure, indescribable satisfaction washed over her. Her body went numb, nothing could be felt except for the overwhelming pleasure of his rod impaling her.

Tears fell down the sides of her face as the pinnacle of pleasure began to fade. Bit by bit, she started to regain feeling of her body, allowing her to melt into the bedsheets.

Luffy grit his teeth at the amount of fluid he felt surrounding his girth. He couldn't express how much he enjoyed the warmth, the slickness.

He threw his head back at the jaw-dropping sensation. It felt like she was a little more loose then before, he started leaning forward a bit more, learning that was the way to create more friction.

In doing so, he immediately resumed his powerful thrusts, feeling so close to completion that his control nearly snapped.

The navigator whined, trembling in his hold.

His hand rested on her hip, gripping her tightly as he pushed himself in. Her body was jerking upwards with every thrust so he made sure to keep a tight hold on her leg so she wouldn't go too far.

Too late, he realized he was gripping her again. His brows furrowed at his actions. " I'm. Sorry!" He managed to say, not being able to stop his movements.

He was close. So very close.

Then, he saw white, shivering as he lost all feeling in his body and his mind turned to mush.

He felt his hips stutter, and, by no means of his own, he started drilling into her desperately, shooting the proof of his desires into her warm cavern, and releasing a loud moan which echoed throughout the quiet room.

His head hung low as he deeply grinded into her a few more times, until every last drop filled her up. He gave one last thrust before coming to a complete stop.

It felt as if he could walk on air. That feeling, it's always so incredible. Those few seconds of ecstasy are truly some of the best seconds of his life.

He's still not sure how something can feel that good.

As some time passed, he began to gain more consciousness, allowing him to feel his body again.

His hold on her softened and, lovingly, he placed a gentle kiss on her knee before placing it back on the mattress.

Upon realizing how intense that was, his eyes fell to her face, wondering if she was ok.

He wanted to ask but-

Luffy swallowed thickly.

Seeing her body lying on the bed sheets, breathing heavily and glistening with sweat.

He…

He wasn't done.

Luffy spread her thighs a little more to allow himself to hover over her.

The woman eyed him drowsily, panting from the immense power he gave off.

With lowered eyelids and swollen lips, Luffy released hot breaths against her mouth, making her shudder.

In a whisper, she called out to him. "Luffy?"

The man only stared, feeling his chest convulse.

Why is it that he was so drawn to her? Why did his heart hurt so much when in her presence?

At first he thought it was a sickness. At one point he thought Nami was the one to infect him. In a way she did. But not with a sickness. No. What she inflicted on him was much more intricate than that.

So he tuned into that feeling a little more, in hopes he could learn what it was. Upon having a conversation with Liya, that really opened his eyes to the world of romance.

He wasn't completely sure at first, but he saw no other explanation for it. For this feeling boiling inside of him, ready to erupt at any second.

There's really no denying it at this point.

'I love her huh?'

'...Interesting.'

He gazed into her eyes, feeling that familiar warmth bubble inside of his chest.

When she gently placed her hand on his face, cupping his cheek, he winced.

The amount of emotions he felt just from looking at her, was almost unnatural.

His eyes felt heavy, wanting to be even closer to her.

He placed a gentle kiss on her lips then began trailing kisses onto her cheek, all the way to her ear. She giggled lightly when he kissed her there, which made a smile form on his lips.

Again, just hearing her laugh made him ecstatic.

She didn't need anyone else to make her happy, Luffy could do it. She didn't need another guy to touch her because Luffy would handle it. He would give her anything in the world. Treasure? He can do it. Money? Done. Love? He's already given that to her, whether she knows or not.

'Oh yeah!'

Liya said he should tell Nami when he's sure it's love. He also promised Nami earlier that he would tell her about it. So he could tell her now! He's definitely sure it's love. It can't be anything else.

As he laid on top of her, embracinging her snugly, he felt her arms wrap around him, holding him against her.

"Nami." He mumbled into her ear.

"Hm?" She hummed, absentmindedly tracing the bumps of his spine.

"Do you know what love is?" He casually inquired.

He felt her hand stop stroking his back. "W-what?" She stuttered, thrown off guard by the extremely intimate question.

"You know, like romantic love and stuff." he clarified.

Below him, the female stared at the ceiling, eyes wide in disbelief.

'Why? Why are you asking?'

"Luffy…" Her heart pounded so hard, there's no way he didn't feel it against his chest. "W-why are you asking me this?"

Luffy yawned, not feeling the least bit embarrassed. He snuggled in the crevice of her neck, smiling softly as the sweet smell invaded his senses.

"Why?" He repeated, furrowing his brows a bit. "Dunno. I was just curious." Against his chest, he could feel her heart pounding like crazy. He didn't really know why, but he brushed it off. "I didn't really know about it until…oh…until today I guess."

Nami's eyes slowly trailed towards him, yet all she could see was the skin of his upper back. She had no clue where he was going with this, but…but she was really excited. Why would Luffy randomly start talking about love?

When he first brought it up, she feared he had somehow found out that she loved him. But then she remembered that it was, in fact, Luffy. That only left one option.

That he…

That he was…

Nami blushed, feeling her heart skip a beat.

Luffy continued. "Then Liya, she taught me what it was."

At that, Nami felt her heart clench painfully.

Just what was he getting at?

Instead of hope, Nami felt her heart sink to the pit of her stomach in dread. She recalled how close Luffy and Liya were, despite only meeting once.

Was Luffy implying, if he was implying anything at all, that he loved… Liya?

That can't be right?

The more she thought about it, the more realistic it seemed. I mean, she never pegged Luffy as the kind of guy to fall for someone, especially not after one day, but…Nami just didn't know. The weather was more predictable than him. If only she could read him as easily as that.

Her face fell as another thought crossed her mind.

And that was…that there was a possibility that Luffy was only using her for sex.

Her heart throbbed.

That's not possible.

'Right?'

"Luffy?" She called out, rather flatly. "Do you…love her?"

On her shoulder, Luffy's brows furrowed. His eyes darted to the side in thought. "Huh? Who?"

Nami frowned, jealousy prickling her skin and burning her from the inside out. " Liya." She replied with distaste.

That only furthered his confusion. "No. Should I?" he inquired, not sure why Nami would even think that.

The woman blinked.

'Huh?'

She was… wrong?

Then what was he hoping to achieve by bringing this up?

Luffy raised himself onto his hands to stare down at her.

Meeting his gaze, she blushed, suddenly remembering that they were both very naked. She was still majorly bewildered as well.

Luffy smiled sweetly, bringing warmth to her chest.

At the sight of his boyish charm, her eyes quivered and her heart throbbed.

She seriously doesn't understand him. The way he makes her insanely anxious then relieves all her worries in an instant, confuses her.

Luffy backed away from her to sit on the edge of the bed, she sat up not long after, staring at his broad back, littered with scratch marks. Ones she gave him last night.

Suddenly, she understood the guilt he felt when he bruised her legs. Seeing the one you love hurt because of you is a whole different level of guilt.

Not that Luffy loved her!

She was just saying…

In general…

Anyone would….

Nami sighed.

She's a lost cause at this point.

To get closer to him, she scooted down the bed. He was still sitting on the ledge, but he was reaching down to grab his clothes off the floor.

Once behind him, she gently reached out to caress the faint red marks.

On each shoulder blade, crescent-shaped scabs from when she dug her nails into him, caught her eye. Her face twisted in guilt. Sure Luffy's had it much worse, but that didn't make her feel any better.

After Luffy found his clothes, he sat up straight again, suddenly becoming taller than her again. The woman continued brushing her fingers against the marks.

The captain only turned his head to the side in question. "Is there something on my back?" he asked.

As a way to show how sorry she felt, she placed gentle kisses on the marks. Once she littered the left shoulder blade in kisses, she moved to the right, ready to shower that area with love as well.

When she pulled away, Luffy twisted his torso to pout at her. "Don't do that!" He whined. "I already don't wanna leave, so when you do that it makes it harder."

Her heart fluttered and a soft smile grew on her lips.

Gosh, she loved him so much.

Nami bit her lip, trying to resist from giggling at his childish behavior.

"Nammmii." he whined, only making it harder for her to resist.

No longer being able to hold it back, a heartfelt laugh escaped her, making her already sore body even more worn out.

Her sweet sounds of joy invaded his ears, bringing a soft smile onto his face. The faint color on her cheeks as well as her gleeful smile, he just couldn't help but love it.

Luffy shook his head, slipping his red shirt on then standing off the bed to pull on his shorts, all the while the girl fell onto her back, still laughing.

While she laughed to herself, Luffy trudged towards the door, the place where he removed her shirt, and bent over to pick the tank top off the floor. For a second, he eyed the thin material, but smiled when an idea struck him. Skillfully, he tossed it at her head. The way it perfectly landed on her face made him laugh.

At the sudden attack, she stopped giggling to remove the piece of clothing. Sitting up, she glanced in his direction, taking notice of his appearance.

'When did he get dressed?' She thought to herself, blinking as if she missed something.

He made his way back towards the bed with a smile on his face, causing her heart to stop. Truthfully, she wanted him to stay. But sadly, they had guests.

Luffy placed one knee on the edge of the bed, reached out and cupped her face.

She blushed, when she realized what was happening.

"I'm gonna head back." He spoke.

She nodded absentmindedly.

Seeing her nod in agreement, his smile widened. As if it were second nature, he placed a firm kiss onto her lips.

Their eyelids fell shut, neither wanting to pull away.

Nami smiled against his lips, gently placing a palm on his chest as a signal to stop. "I thought you were leaving?" She teased, with lowered lids.

Luffy groaned in frustration, removing his hands from her face and backing away reluctantly. "Stupid stripe pirates." he grumbled, walking over to the nightstand to grab is strawhat.

Just as he prepared to walk out. He quickly made his way to the bed.

Nami opened her mouth to poke fun at him, but he silenced her with a peck on the lips. Her eyes widened in response.

He took in her naked form one last time, then sighed heavily. Backing away from the bed, he placed his hat on top of his head. "Ok, I'm leaving now."

She giggled, watching him pause at the doorway. "You sure?" she mocked, enjoying the innocent glare he shot at her.

Warmth filled her body as he stuck his tongue out at her. "Yes. I'm leaving." He swung the door open, took one step out, then almost immediately turned back around.

Nami smiled at his silliness.

"I can come back right?"

The woman laughed, shaking her head at his antics. "Go!" She ordered with a smile on her face.

Luffy pouted, mocking her in a tone too low for her to hear. He shut the door and Nami cheesed at the wooden structure.

As she heard his fading footsteps, a bubbly feeling started swarming within her.

Feeling light as a feather, she fell onto her back, blushing softly as she recalled their time together.

Unwillingly, a soft giggle escaped her lips.

From the time they entered the room until the moment he left. Everything felt so utterly perfect. I mean, he gave her a few scares. Like the whole thing about him going down on her and the short conversation about love…

Her eyes trembled.

She was still pretty curious about that.

Luffy wasn't one to just say something like that. If he brought it up, it was because it was on his mind.

Somewhere inside of her, she believed she was the one who made him think of love. Who else would? He said he didn't love Liya, so who else could there be?

Nami blushed, fighting a cheesy smile.

She told herself she didn't want to get her hopes up, but again, he does something that makes it damn near impossible to ignore.

Even if he didn't love her, she was happy he was at least thinking about it. That meant there was hope after all.

She stared at the ceiling, toying with the fabric of her shirt in her hands.

Nami sighed heavily.

'I need a bath…'
