Harrison's POV
Leaving the Great Hall in a huff was not an uncommon occurrence for him. Much to his continued annoyance. Why couldn't the adults just leave him alone? It was obvious he didn't want anything do with them and that pestering him to trust them was only alienating him further.
Yet they could not seem to get it into their thick heads. Were humans this stupid in this century? Because it well and truly seemed so. It seemed like the only competent adult was his father. Who he still had issues with because of his disappearance.
Crouch said just loud enough for him to hear, "Manipulating old man. Mom was right he wants everyone to see one side of him. But if you don't agree with his views he will try to force it."
Severus snorted, "All adults in this time are like that. They only care about what people can do to further their goals. If you get in their way they will try to remove you."
That reminded him, "Crouch why are you with us? You weren't even here when he we disappeared. You were a year younger than us."
Crouch flushed as he said, "Your right. I didn't know you before you disappeared. However I do know since you've returned the changes that are happening. Everyone in our age group knows about the Potter children disappearance. Our parents were worried about it happening to us even year later."
"That doesn't explain..."
Crouch cut him off, "Those of us who grew up like this were intrigued by your story. I always wanted to get to know you. So I will watch you because you intruige me. Your disappearance from Hogwarts just made it even more of am intruige for me."
Severus and Harrison said together, "Ravenclaws."
"I'll take that as a compliment," sniffed the younger boy.
This caused him and Severus to break out into laughter. This caused the three to hang out more. Two easily became three and they began teaching Barty the things they had learned in their time away. Including animagus training.
It wasn't just the younger Ravenclaw that started following them around either. Rabastan Lestrange a fellow Slytherin was also taking a keen interest in them. Whether this was because Harrison was King or something more remained to be seen.
A week before his month's grace period was up another had started following them. Corban Yaxley, Heir to the Yaxley family also joined them. Quiet much like Barty he was a skilled rune crafter. He was two years older than Severus and Harrison and in his last year at Hogwarts. According to Corbin he had an apprenticeship waiting for him the moment he graduated. His dream was to get a dual mastery in Runes and Warding.
The five of them had worked together teaching them different skills. Slytherins still sneered at Harrison and Severus but it was being hidden more. No one wanted to incur the wrath of Yaxley or Lestrange. Not even Lucius Malfoy at least not until he could make a challenge.
Finally the month of respite before a challenge could be issued was up. Harrison and his group barring Barty was sitting closest to the fire in the common room. A group of seventh years led by Lucius Malfoy entered. Behind them were students from the lower years. It seemed at least a three of each year had been called to witness.
Corban whispered in Harrison's ear, "Malfoy is trying to make a court. Depending on who wins this duel a court could be established."
"A court?"
Rabastan was the one who answered, "Don't worry about it yet. To form a court you have to have the respect of all years. To beat Lucius a second time you would earn it."
Harrison gave a sharp nod. His brilliant green eyes watching as Lucius approached. The sneer on Malfoy's face spoke of exactly what he thought of Harrison.
Malfoy issued, "Harrison Potter, King of Slytherin I challenge you."
A sneer crossed the younger's face, "And what will I get in return? Is there something you are willing to part with should I win?"
The two glowered at each other before the older conceded, "I will give a vow of loyalty should you win. But I doubt you will."
Izuku glanced at Severus a question in his eyes. His best friend gave a slight nod in acceptance. It wasn't much given what Harrison could lose. However he had no reason to refuse the challenge.
Harrison said, "Fine. I accept you challenge."
A dueling table was quickly transfigured in the room. One of the younger students had run to get Peofessor Slytherin and Slughorm. The two adults stood watching them as both Harrison and Lucius jumped onto the table.
Slytherin moved across the room so that he stood in front of the table. He said coldly, "A challenge between Potter and Malfoy has been made and accepted. No Unforgivables, lethal spells, and no permanent damage. Should you use any the challenge will be made void. Am I understood?"
"Yes, Professor Slytherin," intoned both boys.
The two then bowed before turning and following dueling etiquette. Lucius was the first to fire a spell. It was silent a nonverbal spell taught to the sixth and seventh years. Too bad.
With a flick of his wrist it was redirected and someone threw a shield around the spectators. Harrison didn't fire any spells back at the older boy. Instead he ducked and dodged around the spells.
Harrison eyed the older boy's form. It was riddled with holes he could exploit. Or to retrain it so that he didn't have them, as obvious as they were.
A cutting curse came a little too close for comfort. He moved just in time for it not hit him in the shoulder. Still he could feel the heat of the boy's magic as it passed just centimeters from his arm. Time for play was gone now.
Harrison spell hit him in his right thigh. He cried out in pain. It was an overpowered stinging curse.
Harrison let a sent two disarming spells out his wand in concession while sending a nonverbal and wandless summoning charm. Lucius was too busy trying to stop the disarming spells while on one knee to even think about any spell he couldn't see or hear. His wand flew from his hand into Harrison.
That was too easy. It should have taken longer than it did. Did these wizards really think that they could fight like this? If they traveled through time as he had they would have died. Not even Salazar would have pitied them.
Professor Slytherin declared, "The challenged has defeated the challenger. Does anyone else wish to issue a challenge?"
There were fearful shakes from the other students. Tossing Malfoy back his wand he waited. The promise of a vow had yet to be fulfilled.
Malfoy hissed as he caught his wand, "I, Lucius Abraxas Malfoy, do swear on my magic an oath of loyalty to Harrison Potter."
"So mote it be."
Magic flashed between them.
