Honestly, I hate to say this, but this story is over. There are a number of reasons why.
1. There were a lot of questionable writing choices, especially some I couldn't commit to. Looking back, there were simply way too many decisions I made that I ultimately lost value in rather quickly.
2. This story is so 2016-7, it hurts. I was a "dAnK mEmEz" guy who was in high school when I started this story in 2016, and it shows. I had also read Total Drama Returns by TheCheesebub before starting the story, and I was basically trying to go for something like that.
3. I regret the way some characters were written. The worst offenders include Devin, Brick, Zoey, and Jo. I also found the Mary vs Ellody plot to be stupid and lasting too long. I also don't think the villains' suplot early on (Chad, Josee, and Scarlett) was executed well either. Devin and Brick's sharp drops into jerkassery also count as examples of point number 1; it was a mistake that never should have happened.
4. I felt the plots became really cheap, particularly that dumb neutrals vs anti-neutrals thing.
5. My biggest regret? Adding all of those interns in the last few chapters. I wish I could go back and undo that, but I feel it's too far away now. Also, it is another testament to how 2016-7 this story is.
6. I just am not invested in this story anymore. Shortly after posting the second to last chapter (Topher's boot), I started a crossover fic on the fanfic fandom page called Loud Ed Drama, and I feel like my writing there is comparatively better than this story. I even started a Despair Island version of that story as well.
So, with that, I have just a few more things to say. First, I became aware of all of the mentions on the Total Drama subreddit about this story, and I honestly have to say, I'm flattered and amused you think that way about my story. I am going to keep this story up, possibly forever, just for anyone to come back and see it; I'm just not going to update this anymore. I will also delete the scrapped 2015 version, since I see no use in keeping that up at this point.
Next, here's what was planned for the rest of the story. Unfortunately, I do not have a set boot list anywhere. I know for sure Trent was one of the finalists, but I forgot who the other one was, other than them being a female. Other plans, for better or worse, included Izzy and Owen getting back together, Sadie now being extremely angry and jealous towards everyone, especially Katie, Kelly and Taylor fully reconciling and being on genuinely good terms, Mickey now having really good luck, Rodney contending with being seen as the most forgettable contestant, and Justin becoming a complete pariah.
With all of that said, I bid you all a farewell on this story.
