Disclaimer: I don't own anything, the song belongs to Limp Bizkit, Behind Blue Eyes. The characters are ALL Naruto ones

A/N: This is Naruto and Only Naruto…cause this song seems to fit him.

When all is said and done, there is no home to return to, no one to run to. As the door shuts tight, he realizes, he's alone once more and the entire truth behind is mask

Mother…Father…Brother…Sister…nothing. He wipes his eyes as he curls up tucked tightly underneath the blankets. He weeps in silence as it echoes through the empty apartment he calls, home.

No one knows what it's like

To be the bad man

To be the sad man

Behind blue eyes

And no one knows what it's like

To be hated

To be fated

To telling only lies

The villagers' whispers don't go deaf in his ear. He looks down, he has a dream, he as a goal to achieve, and he has his ninja way. He is a citizen like them, but no matter what he will always be the bad man. And he hides.

But my dreams, they aren't as empty

As my conscience seems to be

I have hours, only lonely

My love is vengeance

That's never free

He walks dazed and defeated. In the middle of the night he walks underneath the streetlights. He was the drop out, the class idiot, the loser. So why was he here, at this place, the one he adored saw him nothing more as a brother. And yet, he doesn't regret.

No one knows what it's like

To feel these feelings

Like I do

And I blame you

No one bites back as hard

On their anger

None of my pain an' woes

Can show through

It was the Kyuubi's entire fault. She took everything he had. She took away a potential future where girls will run after him, where he'll come home to a family. Where he is proud of his father whether he was or was not a Hokage. He takes out his anger by protecting others, and behind the mask he wears he cries. But no one saw, except, a single pair of white eyes.

No one knows what its like

To be mistreated

To be defeated

Behind blue eyes

No one knows how to say

That they're sorry

And don't worry

I'm not telling lies

He protected Kohona, he protected the citizens with his life, and yet, they speak of him as nothing more then a disgrace. He passes by and falls to the floor as a man, rushing home shoves into him. The man turns and looks back at his fallen back, lips shut tight, as he runs along home. He sits there until a gentle hand reaches out to him.

No one knows what it's like

To be the bad man

To be the sad man

Behind blue eyes.

In the clothes, all the grey

I'll stay if you go away

Concrete, tall as the sky

Movement passing me by

And you blush, what a rush

Reminisce, cold crush

Next door, ear to the wall

All the tension made for the call

"Naruto-kun." A gentle voice sways him day after day. He only hears her, only hears her confidence in him and he walks on. In his eyes the world has always been colourful, but as the days past and as the whispers grow louder and louder the colours begin to wash away. But his name that rolls familiarly off her tongue brings them back now, each time brighter and more vibrant. He turns to those beautiful white eyes; he has finally found someone to run to.

I wish, I wish,

I wish it was all that easy

I wish, I wish,

I wish it was all that easy

He wakes up. Was it all a dream? The feeling, the whispers, the fall, the voice he swore it was reality. Was he so desperate to have to live that easy? The storyline of which the hero falls only to be brought back by the gentle sway of his maiden's voice, it seemed like a far away fantasy. And he weeps until he feels the shifting of his bed; he turns to the pair of white eyes, as she gently wipes away his tears.

"Don't cry" and he stops, and he smiles for real this time.
