I didn't realize how short these chapters are. Anyway here's another one for you. Flashbacks in italics
Chapter 7
Walking into The Coffee House Arizona had to stop, seeing the woman behind the counter, took her breath away. They'd only been dating a few weeks, a month tops, Arizona couldn't remember exactly how long, she smiled to herself, feeling that feeling in her stomach. How could she be feeling like this already?
"hi Arizona" a voice she recognized as Meredith, Callie's coworker and friend said, "Richard will be right out"
"ok thanks" Arizona smiled, not taking her eyes off Callie, who was busy behind the counter, there was a line of people, so Arizona stepped off to the side waiting for the crowd to disappear, so she could have her chance to talk to the woman, who was quickly sneaking her way into her heart. As Callie looked up their eyes locked and a smile swept across Callie's face. Arizona saw her mouth the word 'hi' as she felt her legs almost give out beneath her, and her heart skip a beat. Lost in her thoughts she didn't hear Richard, the manager, and owner of The Coffee House come up behind her. "Arizona, it's nice to finally meet you"
Turning around trying to catch her breath, her heart was racing "oh, sorry, Mr. Webber" she said reaching her hand out to shake his.
"shall we sit?" he nodded to a table that had just been abandoned by some customers, with a smile, as Arizona nodded "can I get you anything?"
Arizona had to bite her tongue to not say what was on the forefront of her mind 'yeah Callie' shaking the thought away "sure that'd be great"
"coffee?"
"yes, please" she smiled knowing Callie would be the one making it, she silently hoped she also be the one who would be bringing it to them. Richard smiled, a kind smile and waved to Callie who brought out 2 cups and set one in front of each of them, giving Arizona a shy smile.
"you two are cute" Richard whispered when Callie was on her way back to the counter, giving Arizona a wink he began "I'd like to make a slight change in things around here. I'm looking to start some live entertainment on the weekends, well Friday and Saturday nights. Now Callie tells me you play?"
"yes, I do" Arizona said sitting up straighter in her seat
"great" he smiled "do you have a demo, I can listen to?"
"no, no demo" Arizona said shyly looking down, "not yet anyway, I haven't gotten that far, I don't normally play in front of anyone"
"would you mind playing something for me?" Richard asked warmly
"I would love to; however, I don't have my" she paused a second "wait yes I do, in the car" she smiled "if you'll give me a minute to run out to my car and grab my guitar"
"sure" Richard smiled warmly, standing up as Arizona made her way out the door that went directly out to the parking lot, almost running. Callie caught the sight of Arizona heading out the door.
"wonder where she's running off too" Meredith asked seeing the confused look on Callie's face.
"I don't know, she was supposed to meet with Richard about playing on the weekends" Callie said finishing the drink she was making and handing it to the waiting customer with a smile.

It's a little bit funny this feeling inside
I'm not one of those who can easily hide
I don't have much money but boy if I did
I'd buy a big house where we both could live
If I was a sculptor, but then again, no
Or a man who makes potions in a traveling show
I know it's not much but it's the best I can do
My gift is my song and this one's for you
And you can tell everybody this is your song
It may be quite simple but now that it's done
I hope you don't mind
I hope you don't mind that I put down in words
How wonderful life is while you're in the world
I sat on the roof and kicked off the moss
Well a few of the verses well they've got me quite cross
But the sun's been quite kind while I wrote this song
It's for people like you that keep it turned on
So excuse me forgetting but these things I do
You see I've forgotten if they're green or they're blue
Anyway the thing is what I really mean
Yours are the sweetest eyes I've ever seen
And you can tell everybody this is your song
It may be quite simple but now that it's done
I hope you don't mind
I hope you don't mind that I put down in words
How wonderful life is while you're in the world
"wow, what's that?" Meredith asked hearing Arizona's voice ring out through The Coffee House
"that's my girl" Callie smiled as she made her way around the counter, drawn to Arizona's voice, like it was a new drug she was addicted to. Opening her eyes as she finished the last words, Arizona was met with pools of chocolate staring directly into hers. A smile crept across her face as she was met with the same look of love.
"Arizona, that was, that was simply amazing. I've always love Elton John, and that take you took on that song, was breath taking" Richard said standing up
"thank you" she smiled setting her guitar against the stool "what did you think" she said turning to look at Callie
"amazing" Callie smiled her shy smile
"it's the first time she's heard me play" Arizona confessed "like I said I don't normally play in front of anyone, I think my sister is the only one who's heard me"
"well, I think you're amazing, and should reconsider" Richard said "how long you been playing?"
"since I was 5, my mom made me take piano lessons, thinking it'd be good for me, hoping I wouldn't get caught up in the wrong crowd in high school" Arizona smiled, not taking her eyes off Callie.
"so, you play more than just the guitar and sing?" Richard asked trying to get more insight on the girl standing in front of him.
"yes, the piano, guitar, obviously, the drums, although I'm not too good on them" Arizona said making a face
"awesome" Richard smiled "well what I'm looking for, is live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights, like 7 to 9, starting the 15th. Are you interested?"
"hell yeah!" Arizona exclaimed "sorry yes sir"
"your first reaction was good enough" he smiled
"thank you for the opportunity"
"you're welcome, I will call you if something changes, but if not I'll see you here on the 15th, we'll say 630?"
"sounds good" Arizona smiled holding out her hand to shake Richard's
"I'm almost done if you want to wait" Callie said shyly
"of course," Arizona smiled, her heart skipping a beat knowing she'd be alone with Callie soon.

"there's a show in Minneapolis next week" Teddy said walking into the living room of Callie's house and plopping down. "I know they've only been gone for 2 weeks but I miss April"
"you think we should drive up there?" Callie asked looking at her sister in law
"I do; however, I think we should surprise them, I can get a hold of Brad and see if he can get us tickets"
"yes, do that" Callie said getting excited as Teddy smiled pulling out her phone and leaving the room.

"you really want me to wear that?" Arizona said standing in the dressing room, not wanting to wear the outfit April had chosen for her.
"come on its jeans and a t-shirt, like you always wear"
"the t shirt looks like something a 6-year-old girl would wear, and those jeans" she shook her head "I'm not wearing that"
"Arizona, you're being ridiculous"
"I'm being ridiculous? You're the one who wants me to wear this" she said holding up the shirt taking a deep breath she walked over to her bag and pulled out a shirt "how about this one instead?"
"where'd you get that?" April giggled
"it's Callie's" Arizona said smelling the shirt "it still smells like her too"
"it doesn't look like something you'd wear" April giggled at the too girly for Arizona shirt.
"you're right" Arizona smiled "but it's better than that"
"fine wear what you want" April said throwing her hands up in the air
"ok" Arizona smiled "I'm going to wear this" she said holding up Callie's shirt
"why do you have it anyway?"
"I needed something of hers" Arizona said in a sad tone "I miss her"
"I know what you mean, I, um, I have one of Teddy's shirts" April confessed looking down not proud of what she was about to confess "one she wore the day before we left"
"really?" Arizona chuckled "I knew you were sappy I just didn't think it was that bad" April didn't say anything just looked down not wanting to make eye contact with the sister of the woman she loved. "it's ok" Arizona said reaching out and touching April's arm. "I miss her too"
"I guh I can't believe she loves me"
"I can" Arizona smiled "I knew you two would be perfect together it just took Teddy a while to realize it"
"I'm glad she did" April said as her phone went off "you better get ready it's almost show time"
"right" Arizona smiled reaching for Callie's shirt. "I'm wearing it"

"shit Arizona was right you do take forever getting ready" Callie giggled as she stood in the adjacent doorway, of the hotel rooms they had gotten. They had gotten 2 separate rooms in hope that Arizona and April would be joining them that night.
"shut it" Teddy said tossing a brush in her sister in laws direction "I'm almost done"
"oh, right cuz wouldn't want April to see what a beast you look like without your makeup"
"she's seen me at my worst" Teddy said looking in the mirror moving her hair around "I haven't seen her in 2 weeks I want her to know what she's missing"
"from what Arizona has said she's missing you don't worry"
"what?" Teddy asked surprised "what has Arizona said?"
"nothing, hurry up" Callie said slamming the door shut, she knew she had said too much.
"ok I'm ready let's go" Teddy said walking through the adjacent door. "hey, we got back stage passes" she said looking down at the tickets for the concert Callie had laid out on the bed.
"of course, we did" Callie smiled "I am Arizona's wife, and you're her sister"
"right" Teddy smiled "you know what I had to do to get these"
"I don't think I want to know" Callie smiled grabbing her jacket. "let's go, I miss my wife"
"since we have back stage passes I think we should go surprise them in the dressing room" Teddy said as they walked into the arena where the concert was held
"ok" Callie smiled "we're super early anyway"
"I know, way to go" Teddy said hitting Callie on the shoulder
"I hope Arizona isn't upset we drove all this way"
"it's not that far, plus we both needed to get out of town" Teddy said as she looked around for where to go next "excuse me, can you tell me how to get to the back-stage area?" she asked a guy dressed in a security uniform
"you need a back stage pass to get back there" he either didn't follow the news or didn't care.
"we have one" Teddy said holding up her ticket "besides, she" she said pointing to Callie "is Arizona Robbins' wife" as Callie smiled her shy smile "and I'm her sister"
"oh?" he said finally taking a look at the two "well in that case, I'll show you the way"
"she doesn't know we are here" Teddy said trying to make conversation as they walked
"you guys are from Madison?" he asked
"yep" Teddy said all proud as Callie shook her head
"cool, well if you go through that door" he pointed "Arizona's dressing room is on the right"
"thank you" Teddy said with a smile
"anytime" the security guard smiled as they walked on.
They paused outside the door which was partly closed. "you knock" Callie whispered
"what are you afraid of?" Teddy giggled
"nothing, I" Callie started to say as Teddy pushed her into the room
"what the" Arizona said spinning around at the sound of the door being opened "oh my god baby" she said as Callie just stood there with a shy look on her face
"I um" Callie started to say as Teddy came in behind her and smiled
"we missed you guys" Teddy said walking over to April and wrapping her in a hug.
"I missed you too" Arizona said looking in Callie's eyes and whispered "you have no idea" then placed a soft kiss on Callie's lips
"I might have some idea, nice shirt" Callie said pulling back and looking at Arizona's clothes
"yeah" Arizona blushed "come, sit down" she said leading Callie to the couch "I have some time before I go on" Teddy and April had already made themselves comfortable on the oversized chair, lost in each other.
"they're like teenagers" Callie giggled "she wouldn't shut up about April, that's why we are here"
"you have a lot of room to talk" Teddy giggled
"yeah, shut your mouth" Callie joining in on the giggling as Teddy stuck her tongue out at her
Shaking her head Arizona asked "please tell me you didn't pay full price for the tickets"
"no I called Brad, he got us full access passes" Teddy smiled proudly
"I knew you weren't as dumb as mom and dad make you out to be" Arizona laughed
"shut it sissy" Teddy tossed a throw pillow at her sister
"oh, sissy I missed you" Arizona said as there was a knock at the door
"20 minute warning" the voice said
"thank you" Arizona looked at Callie "guess that's my cue"
"yeah" Callie said sadly
"I'll see you after the show" Arizona said kissing her
"we got rooms down the street"
"good" Arizona smiled kissing Callie again, "baby I really have to go, I'll see you after the show" she placed one more kiss on Callie's lips, looked at April as they both stood and headed out the door. She turned around in the doorway "I'm really glad you're here"
Callie stood there smiling, she wasn't sure how she expected Arizona to act, all she knew is she missed her and needed to see her, and seeing she was wearing her shirt made all her doubts about anything disappear.
"hey" Teddy said in almost a whisper "you ok?"
"yeah" Callie said taking a deep breath and turning toward Teddy "I guess I, guh" running a hand through her hair
"you thought that she was going to tell us to leave, didn't you?"
"something like that" Callie said looking at the floor feeling foolish
"hey" Teddy said grabbing Callie on the shoulders "she loves you, she's always loved you"
"I guess after everything, I'm just a little"
"paranoid?" Teddy giggled, Callie nodded and looked at the floor again "you have nothing to worry about, I was there with her, I picked her up off the floor many of nights when she drank herself into a stupor. She loves you and only you. And if the thought ever crossed your mind, she was never with anyone the whole time you were apart" Callie looked up and was met with blue eyes that were a lot like Arizona's and smiled "come on, let's go see our rock star sing" Teddy said grabbing her hand and leading her out of the room.
Just remember if you find a mistake like the color of Callie's eyes or something that implies that Arizona and Teddy are twins, I'm doing my best the change everything, but it's hard to catch it all. Thanks for reading. The song in this chapter is Your Song by Elton John.
