Hey guys, how's everyone doing? I'm a little bored so I decided to go through this and post it as I go. Flash backs are in italics.
Chapter 10
Sitting at her computer Arizona was checking out the website for The Voice. Researching farther into it she decided she would fill out the application to be on the show. The shows she was doing at The Coffee House were getting more popular, every weekend she had a packed house. She smiled as she thought of the last weekend. The place was packed, no seat was left open and people were standing everywhere, waiting for their weekly fix of hearing Arizona's voice ring out through the speakers. She remembered trying to go to the bathroom but couldn't get there because there were so many people. Shaking her head, she finished filling out the application. Just as she hit submit her phone rang, hearing the ring tone she smiled knowing who it was. "hello beautiful"
"hi" the voice on the other end said shyly, she didn't know how to react to the compliments Arizona always gave her
"what's up?"
"I, um, I'm" Callie was cut off by Arizona saying, "you're always so shy just say what you want" with a giggle
"well in that case" Callie paused giggling "I want you at my house in ten minutes"
"now you're talking" Arizona smiled as she closed her laptop, standing up "I'm on my way, I have something I want to tell you anyway"
"what is it?" Callie asked always eager to get to the point
"guh" Arizona said with a smile "I wanted to tell you in person but you're so impatient"
"that's me now spill"
"I applied to be on The Voice"
"no way, you actually did it?" Callie laughed; it had been something Arizona had talked about doing.
"I just clicked submit on the application" Arizona shrugged
"so we're going to LA?"
"maybe we'll see if they call me"
"they will, you're amazing"
"around here" Arizona said tossing some clothes into her bag, knowing she wouldn't be home that night
"oh stop"
Not being able to hold back the smile Arizona said "I'm throwing some things in my bag and I'll be out the door"
"ok, I'll see you soon" Callie trailed off on the last word. Not being able to say those words quite yet.
"see you soon" Arizona said smiling feeling the same way she hit the end button and slid her phone in her pocket, finished filling her bag and headed out the door.

A couple weeks later, Arizona's phone rang, a number she didn't recognize "hello"
"hi, may I speak with Arizona Robbins?"
"this is" Arizona said confused
"hi Arizona, this is Lexie Grey, and I'm with The Voice" the voice said "I'm calling in regards to the application you filled out online"
"oh yes" Arizona said not knowing what else to say but sitting up straighter wanting to hear every word the woman said
"we would like to send someone out to give you an audition. Can you tell me a time that works best for you?"
"well, Friday and Saturday nights I play at The Coffee House here in Madison"
"that sounds like a great opportunity for us to hear you play" she paused as Arizona smiled "is that every week?"
"yes it started out as a part time gig but became more consistent as the crowd got bigger"
"that's great" she cut Arizona off "the representatives name is Mark Sloan, you said the place was?"
"The Coffee House, it's in the mall but has its own entrance"
"alright I'll make sure he's there" Lexie said
"alright" Arizona said smiling
"thank you, Arizona and good luck, I hope to be seeing you soon"
"thank you" Arizona said smiling pushing the end button and staring at her phone in disbelief.

"we are beginning our descent" the rest of the message trailed off into her thoughts. As she heard "Arizona" then felt someone shake her "Arizona wake up, we're landing soon"
"guh, why did I bring you"
"because you love me" Teddy said with a smile as Arizona stretched out as good as she could in the small airline seat.
"yeah" Arizona mumbled still trying to get the dream out of her head.
"when are we going to the beach, I can't wait to work on my tan" Teddy said jumping up and down in her seat
"how old are you?"
"same as you" Teddy replied sticking out her tongue, as they pulled up to the gate and heard the final announcement "will you grab my bag"
"I'm not your wife, get it yourself"
"damn right you're not my wife, you could never get with this"
"oh my god what did I get myself into" Arizona said rolling her eyes. Callie had to stay back and work, so Teddy went with Arizona to LA. A decision Arizona now regretted, they hadn't even been gone 8 hours and she was driving her nuts, but she wouldn't change it for the world. She smiled at the thought of spending a few days just the two of them. Although she loved Callie, with every ounce of her being, she was loving the thought of some sister time.

"wow, this hotel is amazing" Teddy said looking around the suite
"yeah" Arizona said tossing her bag on the bed, not entirely thrilled at the idea of staying in yet another hotel.
"no really check this out" Teddy said holding up the pamphlet that comes standard in most hotel rooms in the area.
"we're not going to Disney land"
"oh come on it'd be fun"
"I'll think about it, after my interview"
"ok" Teddy said tossing the pamphlet back down and sitting on the couch with a smile. "Arizona"
"what" Arizona asked the irritation clearly visible, as she looked up at Teddy and saw the look on her face "I'm sorry, what is it"
"I was just going to say, I'm glad we got the chance to do this. I miss spending time with you"
Arizona looked at her and smiled "me too"

"what do you want to do tonight?" Arizona asked a few hours later, they were lounging around the room, and she was going a little stir crazy.
"mm I don't know. Let's go find some food and go from there" Teddy said with a smile
"ok, I'm getting hungry"
"me too" Teddy said tossing the remote on the bed and jumping up. They found a restaurant that wasn't too far from the hotel. They went in and got seated almost right away.

"Zo, I think those girls recognize you" Teddy said pointing to a table that was across from them.
"yeah probably" Arizona said rolling her eyes as one of them approached
"hi, I'm sorry to bother you"
Arizona looked annoyed, the one thing she hated about her job was when fans came out of nowhere "it's ok"
"I'm Annabelle Thompson, and that's my friend" she pointed back to her friend who gave a shy wave "Jackie Kline"
"Kline, where do I know that name?" Arizona said thinking out loud
"that show we used to watch when we were teenagers, The Other Side" Teddy, chimed in
"oh right" Arizona leaned back, smiling and waving at Jackie
"Annabelle Thompson, where have I heard that name before" Teddy asked
"my mother is Senator Thompson" Annabelle rolled her eyes
"that's it, you've been on the news, my parents watch a lot of it"
"no, our parents are the news" Arizona giggled as Teddy shook her head. "I'm sorry let me formally introduce myself I'm Arizona Torres-Robbins and this is my annoying sister Teddy"
"Torres-Robbins huh? Oh right you did get married, I forgot" Annabelle said snickering "Torres is my girlfriends last name"
"oh? Is she here I'd love to meet her"?
"no, she's back in Indiana" Annabelle said looking at Jackie and nodding for her to come over
"Indiana? Where at?"
"just outside of Indianapolis, we attend college there"
"wait Annabelle Thompson" Teddy said, "what's your girlfriends name?"
"Sabrina"
"Sabrina Torres?" Teddy asked Annabelle nodded "Zo, that's that couple mom did a story about from here, the school teacher"
"yeah that'd be us" Annabelle said rolling her eyes
"hey, we gotta get going" Jackie said noting the time
"I'm sorry I have to go, but it was nice meeting you both" Annabelle said holding out her hand.
"you too" Arizona smiled reaching out her hand as Annabelle took it.
"that wasn't so bad" Teddy said watching them walk away. "she's got a nice ass"
"you're married" Arizona giggled following Teddy's gaze "and you're right" she giggled, she did have a nice ass. Taking a walk after dinner they walked passed a bar "oh my god sissy they have karaoke"
"no" Arizona said before Teddy could even ask
"oh, come on, live a little" Teddy said pulling Arizona into the bar, which she soon realized was a gay bar, "it'll be fun" Teddy said to Arizona who was grumbling under her breath. They used to have a karaoke machine when they were younger and used to use it all the time. Arizona shrugged Teddy off her as she rolled her eyes.
Eyeing the bar Arizona said "I'll get us some drinks what do you want?"
"whatever you're having is fine" Teddy said making her way to the stage area to sign them up.
Looking around the bar, with the drinks in her hand Arizona found Teddy sitting at a table close to the stage "here" she said sitting a drink down in front of her
"thanks" Teddy said smiling "we're next"
"what song? Or should I even ask" she asked rolling her eyes
Teddy smiled, "you'll see we're doing 2" she picked up her drink, noticing the song was almost over "you ready?"
"no" Arizona said giggling "you know I do this for a living, right?"
"yeah, but it's not with me" Teddy smiled setting her glass on the table "come on"
Taking a long drink, followed by a deep breath Arizona smiled "ok" as she stood up making her way to the stage, Teddy grabbed 2 mics handed one to Arizona as the music started "oh hell no!" she said backing away
"come on, we used to sing this song all the time" Teddy said with a smile as she began singing

"was that so bad?" Teddy asked a smiling Arizona
"no, that was fun" Arizona said still smiling "what's the next song?"
Teddy stepped back, turning her mic off and setting it on the table she had picked it up from "you're doing the next one on your own" as the music started Arizona was surprised to hear they had one of her songs. She closed her eyes, as she didn't need to see the words on the screen to sing.

"hey, I know you" Arizona heard a voice say as she hopped down off the stage "you're fucking Arizona Robbins" the voice continued slurring her words
"yup" Arizona said as she moved passed her
"where's your wife?" the woman asked looking around the bar for what Arizona assumed to be Callie
"um, at home" Arizona said trying not to be rude April would be proud of her
"then, who was that hot chick you were singing with?"
Arizona had her back towards Teddy, not seeing her walk up behind her "I'm her sister" she said standing next to Arizona
"damn, you looking good" the drunk woman said looking her up and down
"thanks" Teddy said looking at Arizona who was obviously uncomfortable in the situation. Coming from Wisconsin, they had never had to deal with this before. "we have to go"
"wait can I have your number, I'd like to tap that" Teddy shook her head and turned around walking towards the door "you're one fine piece of ass"
"what?" Teddy said turning around
"Teddy don't" Arizona said trying to pull her away
"oh look, miss big rock star has to have her sister fight for her"
Arizona could see Teddy's face turning red as she walked up to the drunk woman "I'm not fighting her fight for her, you started this with me, not her."
"small town lezbos" she giggled
Teddy didn't hear anymore as she felt her fist hit the woman taking a deep breath she turned to Arizona, "let's get the fuck out of here" she said walking passed Arizona, as the bartender came around the bar
"Arizona" she said
Rolling her eyes knowing what was coming next "yes"
"I'm sorry about Liz, she gets drunk and hits on the newbies, new meat, she calls them, she's really a nice gal"
"yeah" Arizona said looking at Teddy who was holding her hand
"she'll be ok just go" the bartender said looking at Liz who was holding her cheek "thanks for visiting"
"yeah" Arizona said as Teddy pulled her out of the bar "that was fun"
"it was" Teddy smiled "I've never been in a bar fight before"
"leave it to you, on our first night in LA and you get into a fight"
"hey that bitch deserved it" Teddy said
"she did, how's your hand"
"it hurts, but I'll be fine" Teddy said "so now what?"
"back to the hotel, we can have a drink in the bar there, hopefully no drunk butch lesbians will attack us" Arizona said giggling
"I can't believe I hit her" Teddy said "she was rather big"
"she could have taken you out"
"I know I was actually a little scared" Teddy laughed
"she knew who I was and asked where Callie was, not by name but still"
"you're big, Zo, and anyone can find anything about you on the net"
"I know, I just" Arizona stopped feeling her phone vibrate and hearing Callie's ring tone. Pulling it out of her pocket with a smile "hello"
"hi baby" Arizona could hear the smile in her voice
"hi"
"you alright?"
"yeah, Teddy just got into a bar fight with some big butch drunk lesbian"
"nice" Callie giggled
"don't tell her that, she'll tell April, then I'll" Teddy said but Arizona didn't hear the rest
"don't tell April" Arizona said into the phone
"alright" Callie laughed
"you just get off work?"
"no, I had dinner with April, just getting home"
"that's cool"
"she's going through Teddy withdrawal" Callie said
"I bet she's not the only one going through withdrawal" Arizona laughed
After a few moments of silence Callie said softly "I miss you"
"I miss you too" Arizona could feel the tears start to sting her eyes
"ok I don't want to ruin your night by keeping you on the phone"
"ok baby, I'll call you tomorrow"
"I work until 4" Callie said feeling the sadness of spending the night apart
"ok" Arizona said closing her eyes wishing Callie was with her "I love you beautiful" she whispered into the phone so only Callie would hear it. Callie knew what she was doing, she did that when they talked while she was on tour. She smiled "I love you more" and clicked the end button knowing if she didn't hang up first she would never get off the phone. Arizona was her life, she had been since the day they met. Callie sat down on the couch looking around the house. Their wedding picture, sitting on the mantel, next to it a picture of her mom and dad on their wedding day. She smiled, knowing this is what her life was like now. She had someone who she knew she was meant to be with, they fit together so nicely, like those best friend necklaces she had when she was younger. Feeling her phone vibrate she looked down, Arizona had sent her a picture of her and Teddy at a bar. Smiling she replied and tossed her phone on the coffee table. Looking at the clock she decided she better head to bed, she had to be up early for work.

"I like this bar better" Arizona said leaning into Teddy
"you're drunk" Teddy giggled
"is that bad?" Arizona said looking up at her sister
"no, it's just been a while since I've seen you like this"
"what do you mean?" Arizona looked at her confused
"drunk and happy, it's been a while since I've seen you drunk and happy"
"since high school" Arizona said leaning the other direction.
"something like that" she laughed "we should go to bed" she said not sure when she became the rational one of the two
"yeah, I have that interview tomorrow"
"I don't understand why they have to interview you, they called you"
"right" Arizona said struggling to stand up, when she finally did she almost fell over.
"hey" Teddy said looking at the bartender "is there a coffee shop opened"
"there's one right around the corner" he said pointing "by the way, is that Arizona Robbins?"
"yes, it is" Teddy smiled. "I'm her sister Teddy"
"I thought so, I'll take care of your bill" he smiled
"thanks" Teddy said turning away and helping Arizona "come on let's get some coffee in you to help sober you up a bit can't have you hung over for your interview" Arizona just looked at her and smiled.

The limo pulled up outside the studio, the girls looked out the window and both smiled at each other. It had been 4 years since Arizona was on the show, back when it first came out. Shaking her head as the memories came back Arizona smiled and said "here goes nothing"
"are you going to tell them you were on the show and no one turned around?" Teddy asked with a smile
"I think I'll wait until I meet Adam and Blake for that" Arizona smiled back. As the door was being pulled open.
"Miss Robbins" a blonde woman, dressed in a black pantsuit came up to her
"yes" Arizona said hoping Teddy wouldn't answer that was like her
"hi I'm Lexie Grey, the director" Arizona was puzzled for a minute, she remembered the lady from before.
"hi" Arizona said taking her hand "this is my sister Teddy"
"hello" she said with a warm smile, Teddy smiled back "the meeting will be short, they already know they want you just have to do this the legal way" she added rolling her eyes
"alright" Arizona said smiling
"it's so good to finally meet you, I've heard nothing but good things about you and your career" she said as they walked down a long hall "have a seat in here, there's coffee or water in the mini fridge, help yourself" she said nodding to the fridge as she disappeared.

"here's your change, thank you" Callie said with a smile looking at the clock it was almost 2 knowing Arizona was in her interview she smiled hoping everything was going good
"Callie" Richard called from behind her
"yeah" she said turning around
"can I speak with you in the office"
"sure" Callie said wiping her hands on a towel, then tossing it on the counter as she made her way around it, and back to the office "what's up" she asked plopping down in the chair
"when is Arizona due back?" he asked not looking up from the stack of papers he had in front of him
"Friday sometime" Callie shrugged "why?"
"I made a decision and I had hoped both of you would be here for this"
"well, she'll be back Friday if you want to wait" Callie said
"I guess I can tell you" he said finally looking up at her. "I'm going to sell"
"oh" Callie said, Richard could see the disappointment in her eyes
"you didn't let me finish" he said with a smile "I've decided to sell to you"
"really?" Callie could hardly hold in her excitement
"yes" Richard said with a smile "I have some ideas, so when Arizona gets back can you come see me, I need to speak with both of you about this"
"yes sir" Callie said standing up turning to leave
"oh, and Callie" Richard said as Callie turned around "it's slow today, take the rest of it off"
"nah I'm good, with Arizona gone I have nothing to do at home, we can let Meredith go home" she smiled, knowing she'd have to get used to working a lot of hours when she took over.

"hey baby" Arizona said into the phone, before Callie could say hello
"hi" Callie said
"is everything alright? You don't sound very happy"
"yeah, I'm fine" Callie said "how did your interview go?"
"good, they already know they want me to join them, they just had to go through all the legal bullshit before they can give me a definite answer. I should know next week for sure"
"that's good" Callie said still not sounding herself it had Arizona worried
"are you sure you're alright?" Arizona asked in a more concerned tone
"well" Callie said taking a deep breath "Richard decided he's selling"
"oh?"
"yeah" Callie sighed
"it'll be alright" Arizona said trying to console Callie from the other side of the country
"it will, when are you going to be home?"
"Friday night"
"good" Callie said wondering if she should tell her now or make it a surprise
"so he's selling out to that franchise?" Callie was quiet for a few moments "Calliope?"
"what?" Callie said trying to hide the smile in her voice
"what's going on?"
"ok, you got me, he wants to talk to us when you get back"
"why? If he's selling to the franchise, why does he need to talk to us?" Arizona asked confused
"he's not" Callie said
"he's not what?"
"he's not selling to them" Callie paused "he's selling to us"
"what" Arizona said almost dropping her phone.
"just what I said, he's selling The Coffee House to us, Arizona, can you believe it?" Callie said she couldn't hold in her excitement any longer.
"that's awesome, I can't wait to get home" Arizona said looking at Teddy who was on the phone with April. "so tell me about your day" as Callie went on to tell her about everything that had happened while she was gone.

"so what was that about" Teddy asked once they were both off the phone
"um" Arizona said still in shock from the news "I don't know if we told you, but the main reason I'm doing The Voice is so we can have enough money to buy The Coffee House"
"I didn't know Richard was selling" Teddy said confused
"he was just thinking about it" Arizona said smiling "Callie just told me he wants to sell to us"
"Zo, that's awesome" Teddy was so proud of her sister she really had to hold in her excitement. "I'm so proud of you, you know, we came from a small Midwest town and here we are sitting in a fancy ass hotel suite in LA"
"thanks" Arizona blushed
"really, Zo, mom and dad are too. I know they don't say it, but they are"
"ok I get it" Teddy smiled at her. "we have another full day here what do you want to do tomorrow?"
"beach duh!" Teddy said smiling. "I'd love to go to Disney Land, but we can do that later"
"alright" Arizona gave her the same smile.
