Author's note: So I posted a new story a little bit ago and I had mostly positive comments on it, but one reader left several negative comments that weren't even about the story. I have had a long run of bad luck lately and now I am living in an assisted living facility for only knows how long. I didn't ask for any of these things to happen and to any of you who do want to listen to my ranting you are more than welcome to stop reading my stories and move on. If there are kind people out there who want to help than that is great too. I would never ask any of you magnificent readers to do anything that you don't want to do. So there is my two cents. If you enjoy my writing leave me some love, if you don't that's okay too. I'm going to shut up and let you enjoy:)

"I know I should have discussed it with you first, but I made the last minute decision not to."

"Eric, do you think that I'm angry with you for bringing him here?"

"Yes. Aren't you?"

"No, of course not. He's just a little boy. What I'm wondering is where you could have possibly found another telepath."

"New Orleans. His mother was Hadley."

"Hadley had a child? She never told us, never even hinted that she even wanted a baby."

"Well technically she didn't want him."

"Hadley's dead, isn't she?"

"Yes. She was obsessed with Sophie-Anne and couldn't, wouldn't go on without her, not even for her own flesh and blood."

"Is he upset about losing her? His thoughts don't seem to be troubled by her loss."

"Sophie-Anne was the one who arranged his care, but it was only the bare minimum. He was very isolated even in that big palace. Being with us will be so much better for him. He'll have an experienced telepath to teach him and he will have other children to play with that will be like him so that he won't be alone anymore."

"You do know how to spin a tale to it's best advantage, don't you?"

"I know you won't abandon him, but I'm just giving you the whole picture."

"You know me so well. Even if he wasn't a telepath, he's still family and Gran is going to spoil him rotten."

"She won't be the only one. Do you think you are ready to go down and meet him now?"

"Yes please." We both quickly got dressed, then I clung to Eric as we made our way downstairs. We'd been away from each other for too long, I couldn't bare being too far from him now.

I followed my family's minds outside and we were met with the sweetest scene. With Gran watching over them, Jason, Hunter and Erin were building a sandcastle together and from the feelings I was getting from them, they were having a wonderful time.

I managed to pry myself away from Eric to get closer to the Motley Crew. Erin was the first one to notice my approach. She did her adorable full body shake and held out her arms for me to pick her up. "Mama, Mama!"

Without hesitation I scooped her up into my arms and settled down on the sand next to Hunter. "Hi Poppit." I turned my attention to Hunter. "Hi Hunter."

"Hi."

"Do you know who I am?"

"Mama showed me pictures of you, but she was always really jealous of you. Uncle Eric says that you guys are going to take care of me now."

"Yes, we will. How do you feel about that Hunter?"

"Okay, I guess."

"What is it Hunter?" I could feel that there was something that he wanted to say, but it was hard for him. "It's okay Hunter, you don't have to say anything." I held out my hand for him to take. "Show me. I promise no matter what that it will be okay." He put his small hand in mine and I was instantly assaulted with his memories. He'd been kept isolated for as long as he could remember. He'd never had any friends. At night he had the silence the vampire minds offered, but they were all unkind and uncaring to him, then the humans during the day would show him some kindness, but there thoughts were torture for him. He had no one who could teach him to block out the thoughts and it was as if they were constantly screaming in his mind. And anything that he cherished, like the few toys he'd been allowed to have had been torn from him to keep him compliant.

Seeing what this poor sweet angel had gone through brought tears to my eyes. I looked up at Eric and he was instantly by my side. I motioned for him to take Erin and I pulled Hunter fully into my arms. I just wanted to comfort him and show him that there were people out there who could and would love him unconditionally just because, but when his forehead touched the fairy necklace that had just become a part of me, we both started to glow.

"Sookie?" I could feel Eric's concern grow as Hunter and I lit up like that, but I knew that it was okay.

"It's okay Sweetie, it's not me. Hunter is getting what he was always meant to have." I could feel the power flowing into Hunter, healing him and making him whole. He didn't even realize that there was something missing from him before now. He'd needed another fairy in his life to unleash his own powers. God only knows what would have happened to him if Eric hadn't found him and brought him home. And this is his home now, he is suppose to be with us, I can feel it.

When the light around us dimmed, I could actually feel the weight lifted off of Hunter's shoulders. He was at peace now, something that he'd never felt before in his short life. He looked up at me with a genuine smile on his face and a light in his eyes that hadn't been there before. I smiled down at him as I cupped his face in my eyes. "How do you feel now my sweet boy?"

"So much better. Thank you Aunt Sookie."

Hearing Hunter call me that, the part of me deep inside that had screamed at me before was screaming at me again. NO! This time instead of questioning it, I knew what needed to be done, what I wanted . I looked over at Eric and he smiled and nodded his head while Erin was bouncing up and down smiling like she knew what was about to happen. Maybe she did, nothing would surprise me at this point. "Hunter, how would you feel about officially becoming a part of our family?"

"I'd like that very much. You're quiet and you're like me and Uncle Eric is nice and quiet too."

"And how do you feel about more babies in our family? I've got a little boy growing in my tummy right now."

"Will he be my brother?"

"If that's what you want."

"And Erin will be my sister?"

"Yes."

"And you guys would be my Mama and Daddy?"

"If that's what you want us to be. We will never force you to do anything that you don't want to do."

He looked over at Eric and Erin, then looked up at me. "I want you to be my Mama and Daddy. I want us to be a family."

I pulled him tight against me as tears flowed from my eyes. "We want that too Baby Boy." I closed my eyes and so many scenes started playing through my mind. I saw so many children at so many different ages it was hard to keep up, but there was one thing that stayed constant. On the fringes of all these scenes I got a very bad feeling. It was as if there was someone or something that wasn't suppose to be there watching these innocent children with sinister intent. I tried to focus on who or what it was, but the scenes were moving too fast.

The vision started to slow down and I realized that it had moved from the future to the past. I saw the beach where I found Erin and I saw who I could only assume was Claudette concealing her the best she could. "I'm so sorry little one. I did want you more than anything, but I knew even before you were born that I wasn't meant to be your mother. Your true mother will find you and protect you from those who wish you harm."

I watched her cover the basket and walk only a few feet away before she was snatched by two of the fiercest creatures I'd ever seen before and they disappeared with her. I made sure my shields were locked tight so that there was no chance Hunter would see what was about to happen since I knew it was no going to be good.

They had taken her to some rundown shack in the middle of nowhere. They both slipped on a pair of gloves and chained her to the wall. The chains burned her like silver burned a vampire. I realized they must have been made of iron.

The female of the pair pulled out a knife and held it up to her neck. "Where is you child?"

"Hidden from you."

"You are only making things worse for yourself. Just tell us where the child is and this can all end."

"You are going to kill me no matter what and you will kill her as well. I am prepared to sacrifice my life to save hers."

She started to push the knife deeper into Claudette's neck when her companion spoke up. "Neave, enough." She stepped back and he stepped closer. "What if we vow to leave the two of you alone. You know we just want to know where the princess is."

"Lochlan, no."

"Quiet. All we want is to find her. Tell us where she is and you and your daughter can go free."

A laugh escaped Claudette, but there was no humor in her tone. "I'm not a fool. You both are from the water clan of the Fae. Any other clan or mixed breeds mean nothing to you, you want us all to perish. And it doesn't matter what you do or who you kill, you will never find the princess let alone hurt her. She is protected."

I watched the anger take over both of those creatures and I knew that I didn't want to see what was going to happen next. I pulled myself from the vision and had the overwhelming need to talk to Nessa. I let Hunter out of my embrace and stood up. "Where are you going Lover."

"I need to go inside for a bit. Watch over them for me."

"Of course." I bent down and kissed him on the lips before I dashed inside.

I practically ran upstairs to our room and threw myself down on the bed. I closed my eyes expecting it to take awhile to be pulled to Nessa, but I was there instantly. "Hello My Angel."

There was no time for small talk, I needed answers. "Who are Lochlan and Neave?"
