Chapter 26
Arizona couldn't believe it, plopping herself on the couch, she sighed a sigh of relief, they were finally home. It had taken them longer to drive than she thought, the stop in Las Vegas lasting 4 days instead of the 2 Arizona was planning. She smiled, knowing it was well worth it, spending the time with Miley and meeting her idol. She smiled hearing Callie come in, sitting down next to her, neither said anything, Arizona moved so Callie could cuddle up against her. She felt Callie let out a sigh, she smiled, knowing Callie was just as happy to be home as she was. They wouldn't change anything for the world, tomorrow they were meeting Richard, to go over the final arrangements, and him showing Arizona what to do in the office. Laying her head back on the couch, Callie leaned over kissing her cheek. Hearing a noise in the doorway, she looked up seeing Addy, she smiled as Addy made her way to the love seat sitting down sighing in relief. "glad to finally be done traveling?" Arizona asked
"god yes" Arizona smiled at her "I do have to go see my mom"
"you taking Teddy with you?"
"yeah, I hope she's on her best behavior"
"I'm sure Teddy will be" Arizona smiled
"I was talking about my mom" Addy laughed "like your parents she likes to embarrass me"
"great" Arizona laughed
"yeah and I've never brought home a girl before"
"you've never had a girlfriend?" Callie asked
"I have, just not one that I've brought home" Addy smiled "she knows I'm gay, has since I was 15"
"well, I'm sure she'll love her"
"who will love who?" Teddy asked hearing the last of the conversation
"um, my mom, you"
"oh, um" Teddy said a bit uncomfortable
"I thought we'd go in a few days, I need to pick up some things from there, if I'm staying here" she glanced over at Arizona who nodded
"ok" Teddy smiled an uncomfortable smile, Arizona laughed to herself knowing how Teddy was feeling.
"well I'm headed to bed" Arizona said moving a bit so Callie would move off her, then standing up, holding out her hand to help Callie.

"god it's so good to be home" Arizona said making herself comfortable in the bed
"mm, yes, it is" Callie climbed in kissing Arizona then making herself comfortable on her chest "I love you"
"I love you too" Arizona smiled reaching over to turn off the light. Laying there in the dark, she smiled to herself she was finally home, with no plans of leaving anytime soon. Her thoughts raced to Addison, she made a mental note to call Brad in the morning, hoping to set something up so he could meet Addison and get the ball rolling on her music career. Shaking her head to clear it, a vision of her and Callie making love on the beach came to her mind, making her smile as she drifted off to sleep.

Callie found herself waking up with the sun, groaning, she was hoping she'd sleep longer, being in her own bed. With no such luck, she lifted her head seeing the sleeping form she was on top of, she smiled. Arizona was home, after what felt like forever, of sleeping in this bed alone, she had her wife by her side. She leaned up placing a soft kiss on Arizona's cheek, feeling her move with the contact, she was met with a pair of blue eyes, foggy from sleep. Callie saw Arizona smile, reaching up to pull her closer, kissing her, as their tongues met, Callie felt the all too familiar jolt of electricity run through her body. After all this time, she still couldn't believe the way Arizona made her feel. Moaning she deepened the kiss, as Arizona's hands started to wander down her body. Callie stopped the kiss and pulled back. Smiling "although I love where this is going, I really have to pee"
"you're such a romantic" Arizona laughed moving lifting her hands up "go" Callie leaned down giving her one more kiss "I'll be right back" hopping off the bed, making quick work of the bathroom, she was back beside Arizona in no time. "now" she moved closer, their lips almost touching "where were we?"
"right about" Arizona said flipping them over, so she was on top. Her face just centimeters above Callie's "here" she said crashing into her.

Arizona was woken up a few hours later to her phone ringing, a ringtone she hadn't heard in quite a while "hello" she said with a smile
"hey, did I wake you?"
"yeah, but it's time to get up anyway, supposed to meet Richard today"
"oh" April said "um, so your home?"
"yes" Arizona said looking over at Callie "we are finally home"
"ok" April sighed "I'll be there tomorrow; my flight comes in at noon"
"I thought you said it'd be a couple months or something?" Arizona asked sitting up on the bed.
"change of plans" April sighed
"hmm, ok, well did you want me to pick you up?"
"um" Arizona could hear the hesitation in April's voice
"April" she whispered but was cut off "I'd like that"
"good because I miss you"
"we've got a lot to go over, you should um" April paused clearing her throat "bring Addy with when we meet, I have some things to discuss with her"
"what do you mean?" Arizona said moving so she was sitting up
"if she's going to have a career in the music business she's going to need a manager" April said
"you're serious?"
"I told her I would didn't I?"
"I just thought, you know with everything" Arizona said still in shock
"I'm not saying I'm going to be her best friend, I just" she sighed "I made her a promise and I intend to stick to it" Arizona couldn't help but smile "just make sure Teddy doesn't come with, I'm not ready to see her yet"
"I'll make sure" Arizona looked over at Callie "I'll see you tomorrow" she said into the phone
"at noon"
"at noon, bye" Arizona pushed the end button, sitting there staring at the phone still in disbelief of what April had just said.
"who was that?" Callie asked rolling over
"April"
"what did she say that was so shocking"
"she's coming back tomorrow, I'm going to pick her up at noon"
"I got that part, but why are you so shocked about that?" Callie asked confused
"um" Arizona turned looking at her wife "she wants to meet with Addy"
"why"
"she said that if she's going to have a career in the music industry she'll need a manager"
"wow" Callie said "that's great"
"it is, I was going to call Brad myself today"
"guess you don't have to now"
Arizona laughed "no, no I don't" she looked at the time "we should probably get up"
"yeah" Callie said stretching out she felt her back pop "mm"
"sounded like it felt good"
"mmm"

"I think we should work on changing rooms tonight" Callie said as they made their way into the kitchen
"if that's what you want" Arizona said reaching for the coffee pot, which was already full, after filling her cup she looked around for Addy, knowing Teddy wouldn't have made the coffee. Seeing her outside on the patio "I'm going to go talk to her" Callie nodded "I'll start breakfast"

"hey" Arizona said quietly not to scare her
"good morning" Addy smiled Arizona could tell she was in a good mood,
"so" she said sitting down and lighting a smoke "I was woken up by a phone call"
"it wasn't Teddy she is still sleeping" Addy smiled
"no" Arizona laughed "it wasn't Teddy"
"ok" Arizona could tell she was thinking 'why should I care who called you' she took a drag off her cigarette preparing herself for what she was about to say "it was from April"
"alright" she moved uncomfortably in the chair
"she's coming to town tomorrow and wants to meet with you" Arizona said hoping to get some sort of reaction out of her other than what she got
"me? Why?" she turned to look at Arizona
"that's kind of what I said, and her answer was, and I quote 'if she's going to have a career in the music business she's going to need a manager'" Arizona waited to see her reaction
"she still wants to help me even after"
"she saw that you have a talent, don't worry I'll be there too, I guess we have some things to go over"
"are you sure she said"
"yes" Arizona said reaching out to touch Addy's hand "I'm sure, one thing I know about April is when she makes a promise she intends on keeping it at all costs"
"how is she going to represent us both from the other side of the country?"
"I think she's moving back" Arizona shrugged "but I'm not sure"
"who's moving back" Teddy asked
"um" Arizona looked at her sister "April"
"why are you talking about her?"
"she wants to be my manager" Addy said still not sure how to take it
"why?"
"she said she made a promise and she intended to keep it" Arizona said
"so she's moving back?" Teddy said sitting down
"that's my guess, I'm not entirely sure, I am picking her up at the airport tomorrow at noon"
"ok" Teddy said looking at Addy "are you ok with this?"
"I guess, I am, I mean, I'm not the one who got hurt in this she was, and if she's not going to have a problem with it then why should I?" Teddy nodded
"it might be a little awkward at first but I'm sure she'll be professional about it" Arizona smiled looking into the house seeing Callie waving them in for breakfast "now breakfast is ready, let's go eat"

"good you're back" Meredith called out from behind the counter as Arizona and Callie entered The Coffee House
"nice to see you too" Callie smiled
"we've been swamped all weekend, apparently there was some sort of show or something in town, I'm not sure" Meredith rolled her eyes "could have really used you, Cristina isn't cutting it"
"hey" Cristina, the newest employee Callie had hired a month ago, said with a laugh "I'm trying, at least I haven't spilled on anyone lately"
"you'll get there" Callie laughed "Cristina, this is my wife Arizona"
"my soon to be boss" Cristina smiled sticking her hand out to shake Arizona's
"that's me, it's nice to meet you"
"you too, I hope you're not too hard on me" Cristina smiled "I know I've been working here for a month, but I'm really trying"
"I'm sure you'll get it" Arizona laughed "you're probably going to be the one teaching me"
"great" Cristina laughed
"Richard is in the back do you want me to go get him?" Meredith asked
"no, we'll head back there" Callie smiled, Arizona nodded at the two women, turned to follow Callie to the back room.
"Cristina seems nice"
"Cristina is awesome, as you can tell she has an amazing personality, just makes work fun"
"seems like it" Arizona smiled looking around at the store room.
"this is the store room, the coffee is over there" Callie pointed to a shelf that had boxes upon boxes stacked on it. "over there" she pointed "that's the cooler, and the door next to it is the freezer, we don't have much frozen items, so there's not much in there" Arizona nodded "and here's the office" she said knocking on the door frame
"come in" Richard said from behind the desk
"hi" Callie said poking her head in the doorway
"hi" he smiled standing up, making his way around the desk and embracing Callie in a hug "I missed you"
"I was gone for 2 weeks" Callie laughed
"yeah well" he said letting her go, looking at Arizona, stepping closer to her, embracing her in the same hug "I'm glad your home"
"I'm glad to be home too"
"well have a seat" he said walking back behind the desk. "Callie already knows how to do all this, so between the two of us I'm sure you'll catch on pretty quick"
"ok" Arizona said looking over at the computer, as Richard went over the programs he used. It took them a couple hours.
"now, I'll show you where we keep the goods" he smiled standing up. The two women followed him around the storeroom as he explained to Arizona what was what and where it went. "the orders are due Tuesdays and Fridays, the truck comes" he was cut off by Callie
"Saturday afternoon and Wednesday mornings" she smiled seeing Richard nod and smile "do you have any other questions?"
"um" Arizona said looking around "I don't think so"
"alright well like I said I'll be here for another month or so to make sure you get the hang of everything, I know Callie has it under control out there" he pointed to the door "but back here is a different story"
"if I do have any questions I'll be sure to contact you" Arizona said feeling a little nervous, was she sure she could do this? Shaking her head, she took a deep breath forcing a smile.
"sounds good, now go and enjoy your day off, Callie I'll see you here bright and early tomorrow"
"I have to meet April tomorrow" Arizona said out of no where
"she's coming back?" Richard asked surprised
"I guess so, she's still my manager and she wants to talk to Addison about being hers, so"
"wow" Richard said shaking his head
"I know I feel the same way" she smiled, nodding towards the door "shall we go? I'd like to go see mom and dad"
"alright girls, I'll catch you later" Richard smiled heading back into the office.
"I'll see you in the morning" Callie called out as they walked passed the counter
"bye" Meredith smiled

"did you understand what he was telling you?" Callie asked once inside the car
"I think I did, if not he'll always be just a phone call away"
"yes he will be" Callie smiled placing her hand on Arizona's leg as they drove away.

"I love how you just walk in" Callie laughed as they stood in the doorway of Daniel and Barbara's
"well this is my house" she laughed then called out "mom"
"in here honey" Barbara called from the living room "hi Callie" she smiled
"hi Barbara" Callie smiled as she and Arizona took a seat on the couch
"what's going on?" Barbara asked turning her attention to them
"nothing, we just left The Coffee House so I thought we'd swing by and say hi"
"that was nice of you, where's your sister?"
"at home, unless they left" Arizona said
"where would they go?"
"I don't know, I know Addy wants to go to Minneapolis to see her mom, but I'm not sure when they are doing that"
"she's taking Teddy to meet her mother?" Barbara asked
"yup" Arizona said sitting back on the couch
"are they that serious"
"they seem to be" Callie said "I've been watching them, and baby you were right they remind me a lot of us when we first got together"
"well, I hope she knows what she's doing" Barbara said
"where's dad?" Arizona asked looking around not seeing any sign of her father
"he's out playing golf with Bruce"
"how's good old Mr. Rogers doing?" Arizona asked giggling at the name
"he's good, we had dinner with him and Vivian last week"
"that's good" she smiled
"are you two hungry? It is lunch time"
"we had a big breakfast" Arizona said looking at Callie
"I am getting kind of hungry" Callie smiled shyly
"how about I make us some lunch" Barbara smiled at her daughter in law
"I'd love that thank you Barbara" Callie smiled back

"so let's get going on the changing of the rooms" Arizona said walking through the door
"you want to do it right now?" Callie asked almost whining
"you're the one who wanted to do it today, so let's get it done, then we can relax"
"ugh fine" Arizona couldn't help but laugh normally it was her who was trying to get out of doing whatever it was Callie wanted to do. Standing in the doorway of the master bedroom, Arizona looked around, it was a lot bigger, she took a deep breath making her way farther into the room. "did you want the bed from my room or to use my dad's?" Callie asked. Arizona turned, looking at her, with a confused look on her face. "right why would we want to sleep in my dad's bed" Callie laughed "however it is the same size, so what if we just switch the mattress?"
"ok" Arizona laughed "less work for you?"
"yeah, I know I said I wanted to do this today, but I just feel like vegging out on the couch" Callie laughed
"this won't take long, then you can do what you want" Arizona smiled going to the bed and pulling off the blankets.
"what are you guys doing?" Teddy asked from the doorway
"hey look more help" Callie smiled
"depends what you're doing" Teddy said crossing her arms and leaning against the doorframe
"moving rooms so we can have the big one" Arizona said not taking her attention off the task at hand
"oh, ok" Teddy said walking into the room "what can I do?"
"why don't you go into the other room and strip the bed" Callie said
"do you have any rubber gloves?" Teddy laughed
"um, why?" Arizona asked hearing Callie let out a chuckle
"I'm scared to touch the sheets" Teddy laughed causing Callie to shake her head
"it's fine" Callie said "just put it all in a pile I want to wash them anyway"
"ok" Teddy said turning around, they saw her run into Addy in the hall way, and within a few minutes they had the mattress outside the door "ok ready" Teddy called out
"just give me a minute" Arizona said moving the mattress off the bed "alright bring it in"
"you aren't moving the box spring?" Teddy asked
"why? it's the same size, and it's not the box spring I have a problem sleeping on" Arizona smiled
"right" Teddy said, Callie laughed grabbing the other end moving it to the side, as Teddy and Addy brought in the other, they all got it situated as Arizona and Callie took the one they had to the other room. Searching around picking up items, with arms full of clothes they made their way back. "I'm going to go throw the sheets in the wash" Callie said tossing the pile she was carrying on the bed
"yeah might be a good idea" she watched Callie disappear shaking her head she started putting away the pile on the bed. A few hours later, everything was put away and the bed made, Arizona let out a sigh. "there done" she flopped down on the bed
"think you'll like being in here?" Teddy asked
"I think I'll be alright it's Callie I'm worried about, it was her parents room" Arizona giggled thinking about making love to her wife in a room where her parents had done it.
"I'm sure she'll be fine" Teddy laughed "I'm going to find some dinner, you hungry?"
"I am, but I don't think we have anything, with being gone for so long, the freezer is pretty bare"
"well then, we'll go shopping" Addy smiled
"ugh, I don't feel like doing that today, why don't we just order in"
"I didn't say you, I meant Teddy and I" Addy smiled nodding to the door "we'll be back"

The next morning Arizona woke up to a text message hey just wanted to make sure you are picking me up ~Ape
Yup, I'll be there ~Ari Arizona looked at the time, groaning, Callie had already left for the day. She sighed, swinging her legs over the side of the bed, she made her way into the bathroom. "damn it is nice not having to get dressed to go to the bathroom" she laughed at herself, walking back into the bed room finding her shorts and shirt she made her way down to the kitchen in desperate need for coffee. Making her way into the kitchen she paused seeing Addy at the stove stirring what appeared to be eggs, and singing, one of Arizona's songs. She couldn't help but smile, she made her way to the coffee pot. Making her way to the patio, it was a nice morning, the birds were chirping away. Stubbing out her cigarette, she stood up heading back into the house, looking at the time she decided to shower.

"hey, I'm leaving" Arizona called though the house
"ok see you later" Teddy said "wait where are you going"
"um, to pick up April from the airport" Arizona said slipping on her shoes
"oh, right" Teddy sighed
"I'll see you later" Arizona said reaching for the door.

She pulled up outside the terminal just as April walked out. Arizona put the car in park and took April's bag from her and put it in the backseat, then turned to look at her friend "come here" she opened her arms "I've missed you"
"I missed you too" Arizona could tell she was holding back the tears. She pulled back "let's go grab some lunch"

"how was Vegas?" April asked
"fucking amazing" Arizona smiled, she'd been waiting to tell her about meeting Elton John "Miley showed up"
"go figure"
"I know she seems to find me anywhere, I'm half expecting her to walk into this restaurant" Arizona laughed "anyway we saw Elton John was there, and of course she has her connections"
"shut up, you got to meet him?" April said hitting Arizona's hand
"one better, I got to sing with him"
"on stage?"
"yes" Arizona nodded, she could feel her face turning red "and then we went to an after party, and oh my god it was awesome"
"sounds like it"
"Callie ended up winning quite a bit of money on the slots, and we stayed longer than I wanted, we only just got back the day before yesterday which only gave Callie one day off before she had to go back to work"
"speaking of which, how's the takeover coming along?"
"we met with Richard yesterday, he showed me the office stuff, starting Monday Callie will be running everything"
"I'm so happy for you guys" April smiled as the waitress brought the bill she reached for it "you picked me up at least I can do is pay for lunch" Arizona nodded

Pulling up outside April's house "can you meet me at the office tomorrow with Addison?"
"can do, what time?"
"like 9" April said
"sounds good, I'll see you then" Arizona smiled "April"
"yeah"
"if you need anything don't hesitate to call me"
"I won't thank you" she said shutting the door, and Arizona drove away. She found herself in the parking lot of The Coffee House, Callie would be getting off soon, and she had some questions for Richard. Looking around the parking lot she didn't see Richard's car "guess he's not here" she said to herself opening the door.

"Arizona's here" Meredith giggled
"every damn time" Callie laughed
"yup and I'm going to keep doing it" Meredith smiled, turning around busying herself making a drink.
"hey baby, you want something?" Callie smiled at her wife
"um, sure" Arizona smiled "but I'd like to make it" she said making her way around the counter
"alright" Callie smiled stepping back as Arizona brushed passed her, she felt that all too familiar jolt of electricity, looking up at Meredith she could tell Callie felt it. Meredith gave her a sly smile, leaving to clean the tables.
"what was that about" Arizona asked looking up from her cup
"nothing" Callie smiled
"nothing huh? I saw the look she gave you"
Callie sighed and smiled "ever since our first date every time you come in and I'm working she always, nudges me, winks and says in a voice I can't really do that you're here" she looked down 'that and she saw the electricity run through me when you brushed passed me' she smiled.
"that's cute"
"yeah not really" Callie said
"she always turns 50 shades of Callie, as I call it" Meredith said standing on the other side of the counter wiping it off. Arizona smiled "so Richard isn't here?"
"no he had today off, since I'm back"
"ah" Arizona smiled "well I'm going to go tinker around in the office a bit, come and get me when you're done"
"ok" Callie smiled as Arizona leaned over kissing her cheek and whispered "you look beautiful today" Callie instantly felt her face turn red, hoping against all odds Meredith didn't see it. With no such luck, Callie looked up and Meredith was staring at her smiling "what?"
"50 shades of Callie" she laughed, Callie shook her head, rolling her eyes.

"alright" Arizona said making herself comfortable in the desk chair "wow this is pretty cozy" she laughed. Setting her cup down, she turned on the computer. Opening some files, as she started going over the truck order which was coming in the next day. She reached for a notebook Richard had, and a pen, jotting down notes. Getting so lost in what she was doing she was startled when Callie came in. "wow it's that time already" Callie didn't say anything just stood there staring "what?" Arizona asked with a smile
"you just look so damn sexy sitting behind that desk" she smiled closing the gap between them. "what are you doing?"
"just making some notes, and trying to remember what he told me" Arizona smiled
"we'll get it" Callie sat on the edge of the desk, Arizona looked her up and down, as the memory of a movie they watch while in LA popped into her head, shaking her head to clear the image as Callie asked "how's April?"
"good, she wants to meet with Addy and I in the morning"
"I'm so glad she stayed to her word after everything"
"I know I thought for sure she was gone for good, and I'd have to find a new manager"
"even if she did" Callie looked around "we have this now"
"yes we do" Arizona reached up turning the computer monitor off, then stood from the chair "shall we go home wife?"
"yes" Callie smiled, Arizona reached for her hand as they walked through the establishment together "I'll see you at home" she leaned in giving Arizona a kiss.
"home" Arizona whispered letting go of Callie's hand and getting in her car.

"are they here?" Callie asked walking through the front door
"they better be the door was unlocked" Arizona said setting the notebook she had brought from The Coffee House down on the table.
"hey guys" Addy smiled coming down the stairs "I was just about to start dinner"
"food sounds amazing" Arizona smiled following Addy into the kitchen, as Callie retreated to their room to change, she loved the smell of coffee but hated how it smells plastered on her.
"April wants us to meet her at the office at 9" Arizona said following Addy into the kitchen
"ok" Addy said forcing a smile
"you're nervous, aren't you?"
"wouldn't you be? She's not going to screw me over, is she?"
"no" Arizona laughed "the one thing April is, is professional, she's an amazing manager, I can say that from experience"
"ok" Addy smiled a nervous smile
"besides if something does go wrong, I will be your manager" Arizona smiled, Addy didn't answer just looked at Arizona and nodded. "want some help?"
"sure" Addy said stepping aside so Arizona could help her with dinner.

"Good morning Billie" Arizona smiled walking up to the reception desk
"good morning Arizona" Billie smiled,
"thanks for calling me Arizona" they shared a laugh "this is Addison Montgomery"
"I watched the show, you were amazing, I was really disappointed when you didn't win" Billie said reaching out her hand "I'm Billie Douglas"
"nice to meet you, and thank you"
"we have bigger and better plans for her than what she could have gotten by winning the show" Arizona smiled
"that's good, head on back" Billie smiled nodding to the hallway that led to the offices and recording rooms.
"thanks" Arizona smiled leading the way "April's office is right here" she pointed to the second door on the right "over there is a conference room, which I'm sure we'll be visiting in the near future" she smiled "and down there are the recording booths"
"can't wait to see those"
"I am going to say, it's quite small in there, not like what you had out in LA"
"right got it" Addy smiled, she watched Arizona knock on the door to April's office which was open
"hey" April smiled looking up from her desk, "come on in"
"I don't have to introduce you two" Arizona said trying to make a joke of it
"no, we're good, just give me a sec, Brad wanted to be here for this"
"ah Brad" Arizona laughed
"he's in a good mood today, maybe because I'm back, I heard it was stressful around here"
"see you are needed" Arizona said
"yeah" April said rolling her eyes, turning her attention to Addy "hello Addison"
"hi" Addy smiled a shy nervous smile
"just relax, I'm not going to screw you over" April smiled Arizona could see the truth behind the statement. "before Brad gets here, I need to talk to you Arizona"
"alright let me have it" Arizona laughed
"I know you've been busy, but" April had that tone in her voice
"April, I just got back, I'm not going on tour"
Laughing April went on "no, no tour, although after the show it'd probably sell out" April made a mental note
"no, no tour" Arizona put her foot down
"no, no tour, at least yet, but I do need you to put out another album, I know you have some new songs no one besides us has heard, and I was thinking maybe you could add a bonus track with Addy"
"there's an idea" Arizona looked at Addy "get all my fans to love you"
"I think they already do" April smiled, there was a knock at the door they all turned to look seeing Brad standing there with his brief case
"Arizona" he smiled as he entered April's office
"Brad" Arizona smiled "this is Addison Montgomery"
"Addison it's so nice to finally meet you, April has been talking nonstop about you"
"oh" Addy said reaching out to shake his hand
"I've got a few things I'd like to go over with you, and then maybe we could get the both of you in to record a song or two?"

After Brad was done babbling, they made their way into the recording room. Arizona set her bag down on the table "do you remember that song that I wrote that Adam is going to do with me?"

"let's try it" Arizona smiled pulling out the stack of papers that went along with that song.

"Addison do you have any you'd like to play?" Brad asked, Addy looked at Arizona a little nervous, although she loved singing and knew that's what she wanted to do, no one had heard anything she wrote, clearing her throat "I do"
"well by all means" he said nodding for her to go ahead
"can I use this?" she reached for the guitar Arizona still had on her lap, Arizona smiled handing it to her. "this doesn't have a name yet" she said into the mic looking down at the guitar.

"I wrote it after I met Teddy" Addy looked down

"well, yeah" Addy smiled, Arizona reached over patting her back
"that was awesome" Brad said hitting some buttons, turning the mic off and saying something to April. "you guys can come out now". Arizona took off the head phones replacing them on the hook, she saw Addy follow suit. Outside the door they met Brad and April. "can you go back into the conference room, I'm not done with you guys yet" Arizona nodded following April into the conference room.
"what's he want now?" Arizona asked
"I'm not sure, he mentioned something about a tour, after Addison's first album comes out"
"no" Arizona said in a stern voice
"Arizona it'd" April started to say but was cut off "April I'm not going on tour, I just got back from being gone for far too long"
"that wasn't our fault"
"no, it wasn't, but at the same time, I have a business to run" Arizona could feel her face get red.
"Arizona calm down" Addy said reaching for her hand "maybe if you talked to Callie, she, Meredith and Teddy can manage while we are gone" Arizona looked up at her, remembering the last conversation she had with Callie about touring. Turning to April she said "you call Callie and ask her" April flinched "you remember what happened last time you told me I was going on tour don't you?" April nodded "so you want me to go, you call my wife and tell her" Arizona reached in her pocket "here use my phone, I'll even dial the number, she's at work but I'm sure she won't mind"
"what's going on in here" Brad asked hearing Arizona's rage as he walked in the door
"I told her you were talking about a tour" April said putting her head down.
"Brad, Callie is going to freak out" Arizona said looking up at him
"Arizona, I'll talk to her" Addy said quietly
"nothing is set yet" Brad said "it was just an idea I had, I know everyone will know you from The Voice, but I thought maybe if the two of you went on tour together it'd bring Addison's ratings up" Arizona sighed "fine, I'll talk to Callie"
"good" Brad smiled as he set a stack of papers on the table and went over what he wanted. Addy was set to start recording her first album, other than the one from The Voice, the following week.

"I can do that" Addy smiled "will it be that bad?" she asked, it was then that Arizona remembered that she may not have heard the whole story as to why they were apart for 2 years. She smiled "it might be, especially with The Coffee House"
"speaking of which, I wonder how Teddy's doing" Addy smiled it was Teddy's first day working there.
"who knows" Arizona laughed "shall we go find out?"
"I could use some coffee" Addy smiled, Arizona turned the car in the direction of the mall.

"ugh, every damn time" Callie said under her breath but Teddy heard her "what?"
"every fucking time your sister shows up, she does that in that tone, has since our first date"

"hey who's with her?" Meredith asked, Teddy and Callie looked up seeing them walk through the door

"hmm" Meredith said turning around "I'm so out of the loop"
"nah, don't worry about it" Callie smiled moving around the counter, kissing Arizona "hi baby, how did it go"
"good" Arizona smiled "we have a few things to talk to you both about, but we'll do that at home" Arizona turned to look at her sister "don't you look cute in your little apron"
"shut it sissy"
"hey watch it, I'm your boss" Arizona laughed
"yeah, yeah" Teddy said tossing a towel at her "would you like something?" she asked turning to Addy as her demeanor changed
"just you" Addy whispered and winked at her "I'll take a caramel latte"
"make that two sissy" Arizona smiled "hey is Richard in?"
"yup head on back" Callie nodded towards the door that led to the back room "so, how are you?"
"to be honest, I'm freaking out, I can't believe my dreams are coming true, I owe Arizona the world"
"nah, you're amazing all of America thinks so, how else do you explain getting into the final four?"
"I don't know" Addy laughed
"so what do you guys need to talk to us about"
"going on tour" Addy blurted out, she was too excited about it and didn't think
"what?" Callie almost shouted
"shit" Addy said looking at Teddy who had the look of shock on her face

"well not yet, nothing is set" Addy said trying to save herself "look Callie, she knew you'd freak out"
"damn right I'm freaking out, we just bought a business" Callie said throwing her hands in the air
"if it helps she tried to talk them out of it"
"yeah sure" Callie said heading into the back room, she found Arizona laughing with Richard. Clearing her throat to get her attention. Arizona could tell instantly something was up, Richard also "I'll just um" he said standing up leaving the room closing the door behind him. "tour, Arizona"
"dammit Addy" she said under her breath "I tried to talk them out of it, nothing is set yet, and they thought it'd help Addy if I were to go with her"
"Arizona, we just bought a fucking business, I can't run this on my own"
"you won't be, I'm right here"
"yeah for how long, and then you'll be running across the country" Callie found herself getting mad, her arms were flailing around like one of those air things outside of car washes.
"baby, calm down" Arizona said reaching out to her
"don't" Callie pulled back "we'll talk about this when I get home, now I have a new employee out there that I have to finish training" she took a deep breath to gather herself and made her way back out front. "fuck" Arizona said to herself.
